High prices but the best location you can get to Newark airport. Have a shuttle every 10 minutes with great service. Restaurant is good though only experienced the continental breakfast which was pretty standard, but no complaints. Decent sized rooms and surprisingly I didn't hear any aircraft noise.

Incredibly overpriced. From the room rates, parking, eating....you better be ready to fork it over. Room very small. The only restaurant, the Aviation Grill, offers $17.00 pancakes, $32.00 for a burger and soda. Went to a local grocery store and stocked up.!! No fridge in room either!!
Word of advice, if you can, stay someplace else. If you are staying over to catch another flight, pack food, and keep your stay as short as possible.

Not clean as expected for the price. Bad for kids as there is no microwave in the room. You ll have to pay for everything including the internet STARTING at 12 dollars a day. The food is also quite expensive.

way to many people for the space! You think it is fine until you go to a new airport! Security is slow, bathroom need to be cleaned... I have been to a few of the lounges but nothing wow...

The staff (especially the maids) were the highlight of staying here. The entire place is super clean. Everyone is helpful. The maids also go above and beyond. The rooms were meh. The whole place looks really nice. It's furnished well. The beds are soft. However, the rooms are otherwise unremarkable. You do get access to your Netflix account and youtube. You also get free showtime which is cool, but it would've been nice to have more platform options on the TV. I was really hoping to watch something from HBO but had to resort to watch on my laptop which meant I had to pay the hotel $16-17 for their internet. The surrounding area isn't the greatest. The roads are horrible and confusing. There aren't too many nearby attractions so unfortunately we spent a lot of time in the room. There isn't much there to praise. Again, it was meh. However, there's one thing I COULD NOT GET BEHIND... I DO NOT like the refillable shampoo/body wash/conditioner bottles in the showers. I don't like the idea of touching MY wash rag to something some stranger may have touched THEIR wash rag to. That's gross! Especially during a pandemic. It a bit cheap and very unsanitary. I also don't like staying in a place that doesn't have a microwave and/or mini fridge in the room. Yes, if you want to heat up your food you have to walk all the way downstairs to the common area. And forget about saving food for later. You'll have nowhere to store it. Lastly it's not smoker friendly. I know in NJ it's illegal to smoke in hotel rooms, but it would've been nice to have a balcony or something rather than trekking all the way downstairs to go outside. If you're looking for a convenient place to sleep after a long flight, look no further. If you're looking to actually enjoy your stay, try elsewhere. (No, not even the awesome staff could change my mind.)

Worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. Even though the hotel is only a short parking lot length away from the terminals, it is impossible to walk there without climbing over rails and bushes. The shuttle runs every 15-20 minutes but it felt longer. In short, there is no real advantage to pay a premium to stay at an on-site hotel, since it is REALLY NOT on-site.

The lounge was closed Fri-Sun. They made a lame excuse that other hotels have the lounge close during the weekend. I tried to encourage them to check with their corporate since this would be the first Marriott I have been to that do that.

The room itself is OK. More comparable to a Courtyard rather than a Marriott. The lobby and common areas are very dated. Next time you are stuck at EWR. Save yourself some money and stay at the Courtyard or Holiday Inn instead.

Front desk staff including Waffa and Charice are amazing they do anything and everything for you. The Marriott is in the top 5 Marriotts in the United States that I have stayed at. Perfectly appointed rooms, quiet hallways and housekeeping! The Newark Airport Marriott is a 5star hotel!

The Marriott at Newark International airport is an excellent property. I have stayed numerous times when I fly in or out of EWR. The rooms are designed for travelers with furniture built for quick stays The staff is friendly The property is literally across the parking lot from terminal A I recommend staying there if you fly through EWR

Room was large, and two sides were the best with window in corner room. However, it is a pity that the internet connection is not free for all guests. In addition, there is only a bus to the airport, so even if it is geographically close, it does not differ from hotels outside that.

Flying in from Europe to Newark Intl Airport , an "unuser friendly Airport " surprisingly spent the night at Marriott, the service and the room were excellent. Renovated room with very comfortable accommodations. Worth the stay. Thank you

The service and quality was exceptional! The food at the restaurant was amazing! Clarisse at the front desk was extremely friendly, helpful, funny, professional and if she didn't know an answer, she took initiative to find one. My husband and I just love her! This experience renewed our faith in the Marriott chain after having had bad experiences in our stay in Florida.

The room was great. Location was good, but annoying. I thought it was actually in the airport like some other big cities, but you have to take a bus to the hotel. It runs every 15 minutes, so that is good, but again was not my original expectation.

The rooms are very good, everything was clean, the bathroom exemplary. The front desk is friendly but a bit overwhelmed and the service in the gastro area leaves something to be desired. The food and drinks are above standard. The breakfast as well everywhere, at least there was no plastic cutlery and paper plates, that should be mentioned. All in all okay for a night, but unfortunately not at the price ...

On the positive side the airport is clean overall. On the negative side the food and drinks are overpriced even for an airport. The shop employees make you feel like you just insulted their grand ancestors when you talk to them and barely answer your requests.

I went to a workshop given by Englewood Hospital. The Institute for Patient Blood Management& Bloodless Medicine and Surgery. The focus was on "Weight Loss Options for the Bloodless Patient". Very interesting and informative.

Nice Room But Terrible Accounting
I stayed at this property for night and paid in advance. The room and services are good. But they have held a $50 charge against my credit card for two weeks now and will not respond to any of my requests to clear the pending charge.

The dining staff is so nice. I was sick most of my trip and they gave me stuff to calm my stomach. No noise whatsoever from the airplanes and everything was very clean. Only bad thing is the Starbucks inside doesn't do fraps.

I had to book a room for a night because my flight was cancelled at 5am. The person at the front desk switched my rate to a cheaper one as I had only stayed for a few hours instead of for a night. The room was very nice and the staff were very kind.

Great hotel for a conference with lots of large rooms. The temperature is actually comofrtable if a little chilly, a rarity at large events. Staff was friendly and helpful in getting directions. Bear in mind that parking isn't free.

Stayed for four nights and enjoyed the hotel overall however some things were just a little inconvenient like using the hotel keycard for the elevator, the maid didn't come for 2 days to clean the room and a additional charge for wifi. But other than that it was a nice stay, everything was clean, bathroom was nice, and no noise.

Harassment by young TSA thugs. They are making up rules and laws, then sending 'US Citizens' away for secondary bag checks, secondary exray and putdowns. I'm a clean cut white businessman dressed in business attire. Not sure why I had to be separated from my wife and get the special treatment. THEY DID NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. Lots of joking and chatting among other TSA gang members, but I was just told "they will let you know why later". Later never happened. I was delayed 45 minutes and treated like a child and then my flight was also canceled..

The Marriott at Newark was great because it had a shuttle the stopped at every terminal. It also was very close to Terminal B for international flights. The price for the night was not great but understandable for the convenience.

The Alaska Airlines terminal has to be the most disgusting airport terminal I have ever been in. Desperately in need of a remodel. Super awkward security lines. Porta-potties for bathrooms and no quality food or drink behind securty.

Staff at the Marriott were exceptionally helpful and professional. I took the shuttle to and from the airport, which was very easy to find. Accommodations were excellent. Highly recommend if you're in need of a hotel near the airport.

Expensive, but decent. Their TV's are setup to block you from using a Chromecast our other portable device with HDMI. They likely want to force you into using their pay service for on demand movies/TV. Also, the box at the back of the tv that holds all their inputs was a little loose resulting in some channels having issues.

Several occasions, it would take a good amount of time to ring the front desk. They recommended a nearby pizza place for delivery, but that place never answered their phone.

I've definitely payed less for much better hotels in much better areas, but I think this was the cheapest deal I could find near the airport. Unless I happen to need a hotel near EWR again, I won't go out of my way to stay here.

Great place to stay the night before early flight. Rooms are clean and nice. Staff is polite and helpful enough. There is onsite restaurant and room service if necessary. Newspaper could be delivered to your room in the morning if you choose so.
They even do have special terminal to print out boarding pass if you need.
The only issue I faced is they do not know at the reception how to print stuff from your USB stick.
The rooms are pretty small but we did not need more for one night.
The decorations and hall are really greatly designed.

I recently attended a professional event at the Newark International Airport Marriott. The hotel was easy to find thanks to the multiple signs. The conference rooms are clean and well maintained as was the rest of the facility.

Been billed for a charge which was not registered in the invoice when checked out @ Newark Liberty and Aloft Coral Gables.
Write three reminders to Marriott and till today, no reply.

We stayed only one night, due to a problem with a flight at Newark airport. The feeling was very good, quality price very correct. For being Christmas they invited us to wine and other quality products to eat. Recommended.
