Staff was sweet! However, the food was pretty awful. I had a cesarean and for dinner they offered me a deep fried chicken with broccoli and potatoes. First, broccoli gives people gas and that would have been terrible if I ate it and the deep fried chicken was Tyson's frozen chicken. Lipton tea is such a terrible choice so I didn't get to have dinner. For breakfast they offered me a ham and cheese sandwich, as you know cheese is highly processed and they said that that's how it comes. Hopefully, the director of nutrition will read this and visit other fine hospitals to experience fine dining at it's BEST!

I wouldn't wish that place on my worst enemy. My mom was taken there on the evening of October 10, 2016. The attending physician in the ER called the wrong number and worked on my mom for three hours until she died. My bother and I weren't notified until four hours after she died that she was even there. It took the other family's call to tell them they called the wrong number. The doctor was so irresponsible. If after an hour or so, wouldn't a normal person check to see if they called the right number? Then they took us down to the morgue to see our mom. She was in exactly the same condition as she was four hours orevioysly when she died. Intubated, with her head cocked. They didn't clean her up. She was left in a box for us to see as if she had just died. Dogs get better treatment at the vet. She had no dignity. And the bs they gave us was that they had to leave her that way so the fluids wouldn't come out. THAT's WHY YOU CLEAN A DECEASED UP, BECAUSE THE FLUIDS COME OUT. What an incompetent, lazy, poor excuse for medical care. I am in psychotherapy for the PTSD I am still suffering with since then. I take Valium at night so I can sleep without the belief that I will die like her. Don't ever go there. Not if you want to come out alive. The one star is only because I can't give zero stars. I hope the people who treated her that night go through what I went through. The president of the hospital called me to apologize and said they have meetings about patient care every week. I hope every single person who worked on my mom experiences the horror that I went through. I hope the incompetent emergency room doctor loses her mother without having the chance to say goodbye, without the chance to tell her she loves her. I was robbed of that opportunity and my mother died alone, without her family next to her. I am not vindictive, but in this case, I wish nothing but pain on that woman and the rest of them. I hope she can't sleep at night.

My husband was brought in by ambulance at 6:50 it s now 11:30 he had a ct scan, X-rays blood taken and given fluids we got the results.
But watching what goes around is unbelievable I do not recommend this hospital at all it s dirty and the ER doctors are a joke I watch him start gossip. I watch him talk to other doctors while people are in beds in the hallway. Nurses send down blood to the lab and the lab loses them this place is a complete Joke!!

If you are driving in during the week be warned that parking is ridiculously bad. Came in for birthday of a child and got the LAST parking spot. Terrible. Many areas of the hospital are very poorly maintained. Example: went to lab and another area and AC was not working...where does all the money go...Doctors and staff seemed pleasant and intelligent but you get that everywhere in the northeast. Probably a fine experience for city folk, but drive a little further out to get better facilities.

At first the ratings baffled me! But I have always said; things should be tried first for your own experience and decisions. My wife gave birth here on Oct 4th; and quite frankly this place has only made this experience so smooth all over again after 10 yrs!! Everyone and everything about this place is amazing!!!

Staff was very unprofessional . If you are sick please do yourself a favor and go to a different hospital . Terrible experience I will never forget. They don t care about any patients and they don t have any compassion .Very disappointed and sad.

This is a short version of my encounter today. Its not necessary to drag it out painful inch by painful inch. You'll get the idea.

I was having extreme pain in my lower back on each side. The area of the kidneys all morning long. After a few jolts of pain blinding me I decided it was time to go to the hospital. ER was packed, didn't really care I figured they would triage me pretty quickly, the pain was evident, i was dripping sweat had to be put in a wheelchair, etc. I was OK as long as I wasn't moving. I was given a urine sample cup, which I took care, and kept with me in the waiting area. At some point, I wasn't really watching the clock, an IV was put in my arm and they started to give me fluids. Blood was taken later all the while, no movement was made. After 8 hours I finally said something and that was when I was told their computers were down all day and the were frozen and could not operate. It was horrible. I should have been informed and not just me, everyone and at that point being informed we could have made choices for ourselves to decide whether or not we wanted to stay and I wait. It's also a shame that a hospital in this day and age is completely reliant upon their computers and no one was able to flip the switch, back to the olden ways, and get stuff done.
I went into Lawrence today, hoping that by NY Presbyterian taking over things would have been better than my last encounters there, of which there have been a few, I was wrong, they have reached a new level of horrible. Absolutely the worst and everyone should be held accountable.

If you're ready to die then this hospital is the place to go. Doctors have no heart, they dont give a damm, rgwy get paid regardless. My neice came in with horrable chest pain at 7:30 pm. The staff are nasty and very deliberate, unprofessional. She had 3-4 vitals did not see the doctor until 12:06am. At 1:20 am she is still waiting for the chest xray. I would not send my dog there.

While the patient is suffering. to A lot of young unprofessional people on staff. One day I just got dressed and left. They need serious training in the Er department.

On 10/12/2015 I went to ER at 230 AM and was discharged at 4 Am. My overall experience was good. I particularly liked the warm reception I received from the wonderful lady who made me feel at ease even though my face was swollen. Everyone was great

The ER of Lawrence hospital is just a disaster! Last night I went to this hospital with my mom who was very sick just to wait for about 5 hours and had to leave before she was seen because there were still many people ahead of her. They were seeing people who registered after my mom and other patients were complaining for the same things at the front desk. The personnel there was sooo rude... they just didn t care...they told us and other patients that we can leave if we couldn t wait...

Another time I went to this ER with my sisters-in-law who had extremely high fever, about 105, because of which she had lost her consciousness completely. We informed the nurses and other personnel about that, but instead of taking care of the patient they just told us, if you don t like to wait, you can leave . They didn t even check her vitals but left her laying on the chair for hours. We had to call the ambulance and go to another ER. It was sooo difficult to leave that place without punching some of these rude and heartless people. My family and I would never go back to this horrible ER of Lawrence hospital.

I will never get tired of thanking the staff of Lawrence Hospital. They continuously amaze me every time. The level of care and commitment that they provide to their patients is exceptional. My 4-month-old Daughter Lucy Marie was admitted last week Tuesday and discharged Thursday 10/17/19. Aside from the fact that she was sick, it felt like a vacation. I honestly didn't want to leave and begged to stay another day (not joking). The staff is extremely professional, and they genuinely care for their patients. Trust me when I tell you they are not just there for a paycheck. did I mention that they cater to the parents and family of the patient as well? They are super attentive, and they ensure that you well informed of your child's medical conditional. I love the fact that they confirm name and date of birth every single time they are interacting with the patient. oh, and let s not forget about the hospital food that's served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner delicious. Thanks to Simone and Khristine for ensuring that I was fed and well taken care of. Special thanks to Nurses Raegan Garcia, Megan, Alyssa, Mallisa, Hawa, Valerie, Beneve, Angie, and Dr. Bona, Dr.Kaminyar. And let s not forget Lawrence's maintenance staff who ensures that the restrooms and patient rooms are spotless and equipped will all necessities. You all are amazing, and we were truly blessed to be part of Lawrence Hospital.

And this was just to register to take a scheduled MRI
I Work in Manhattan and usually go to the Manhattan locations, however since I live in Westchester I decided to try Bonxville the worse mistake I ever made. Will never never come here again. Every one needs to be retrained or this hospital should be closed down until they can do better.

I had my first mammogram exam in this hospital. It was an awful experience. The mammogram technician was so rude, rushed me and handled me as if I was less than a human being. My dog gets better treatment at the vet. My breasts hurt and felt bruised for days. I cried in my car after the exam. Not because I was in pain, but because of how I was treated. The lady at the registration desk in Radiology department at the time, rude and condescending as well. When you talked to her she didn't even look at you. The staff act like they hate their jobs and the patients too. No compassion. I never went back. I go to Hudson Valley Radiology for my yearly mammogram exam. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. I hope they get it together, or they will be out of business soon.

Warning Look else where for your health care needs...

Warning Look else where for your health care needs, I first became aware of this hospital due to my newborn being admitted there by his pediatrician. We spend five days with our newborn at this facility and missed diagnosed three times by different doctors. On 11/19/2018 my wife had severe abdominal pain for 3 days. She decides to give this facility emergency room a chance, we spent 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room. They were quick to check her vitals and insurance then back in the waiting room. After two and half hours we decide to leave and try a different hospital in the Bronx which we should ve done in the first place. Never again will I take my family members to this location.

I had 2 minor surgerys done here, best experience of my life. The entire staff was gentle, attentive and professionals. They all made me feel comfortable during my procedures. Highly recommended, thanks to Dr. Silva and Dr. Azu.

Experience was horrible nurses in the hallways having conversations instead of checking on patients
Transporters are rude and arrogant
Came at 11am and haven't seen a Dr since my arrival
And it's now after 4pm
No one knows anything in here the nurses don't communicate as per who has gotten what and who has been seen
I will never come here again nor will I ever recommend anyone to come here

I gave birth to my daughter at this hospital and loved my experience. The nurses are so supportive of breastfeeding which I was so thankful for after having my first born on formula without my consent at another hospital in NYC. Also having a private room without extra charge is a ++++!

Staff was very unprofessional they sit around holding personal conversation amongst each other doing little to nothing, the ER had no more rooms available there were patients in the entrance area hooked up to their IV laying on beds it s very nasty and dirty I waited four hours after being brought in by EMS and my 11yr old son wasn t even assigned a doctor I GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE 1 STAR.. neverrrrrr again will I come to this facility because it s a insult to call this a hospital

The attitude in the ER is horrible. I am my mother s healthcare proxy and I get attitude when I advocate for her such as getting her regular meds, getting food, etc as well as giving her past care protocols. And the one time she was admitted to the floor I got the same attitude.

I took my father to the ED, and waited for hours. Others were also there for 7+ hours, and people were falling asleep in the waiting room. I've never been to an ED where people left because they've waited so long, and didn't get the attention they needed. Gone are the days of Lawrenceville hospital since NY Presbyterian took over. Truly disappointing.

I received almost $500 bill, not including the test I had, which they also charge about $400. I waited 3hr for help and not one person told me I would expect such a high bill and two separate ones after they told me they accept all insurance. I am disgusted. I told them I am out of state and was bleeding excessively when it was not my regular cycle that month. I DID NOT GET ANY HELP TO STOP THE BLEEDING. I had to go back home for meds to stop it. Yet, these people charged me so much when I am low income insurance. I will never go back to this place. Horrible service for a high price. Too wicked!

The ER is veryyyyyy slow.Ever since they switched over to NEW YORK Presbyterian it s been a total fail. Sitting in the waiting area for 4 hours when it s just 2 people in the waiting area. Now more people are coming a patient that came after me gets called before I do. The morning shift on Saturday 4/28/2019 for the front desk is very rude and nasty. Talking with attitude for no reason. I should not be talked to with a attitude if I didn t give it.

Do NOT go to their ER! You will die waiting! The nurse doesn t give you a time, their excuse is, it s going to be a while ummmm 5 hrs later! This is a joke of hospital care for patients who need Emergency Medicine. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Never in all of my years of needing emergency care, have I been dealt with so poorly.

I had a UFE done, yes I knew the hospital was mediocre, but I knew that such a routine procedure would not be messed up. I'm at home recovering. I decided to spend a night at a hospital and good thing I did. I threw up the whole night and that is normal, so they are not to blame. The night nurse really wanted me medicated like he doesn't understand that dependency on medication is a real thing. He was just so bizarre to me. But I think that one day he will no longer work there because he does act like he hates his job. And once that guy is no longer there then that's some toxic energy that will be gone. I don't know if he has personal problems or if his issue is with the hospital. I would say the doctors are okay, the sitters are really good and some of the nurses need some serious humanity. This is a very divided hospital. Those who care really care and those who don't care, really don't give a ____. Just waiting to leave the hospital, I waited for a wheelchair so long that I fell asleep.

Sean from the ER was a Godsend but my experience was horrible I never cried in pain for so long until I was recognized. I'm diabetic they give me sugary food they messed up on my meds which now I can get sick. The 5th floor staff are great. My 3rd experience was better 3rd floor staff was excellent they saved my life some ER lady nurse was a bit rude and heartless not good for this kind of work

I might even have to revise this to 1 or 2 stars. ...

I might even have to revise this to 1 or 2 stars. Upon arrival the woman at registration was very nice, this is 9.25.18 at 2045hours.

The woman up at radiology at this time literally walked away from me mid sentence while telling her specifics of what I need (and what they HAVE TO provide me with) the gentleman doing my MRI literally says there is nobody here to print my diagnosis and also says the same for a copy (physical CD) of the MRI has the same issue and there is nobody to do it. When further pressed you can clearly see not only are they lying (with the woman blatantly ignoring me and walking away to leave and go home) but they also are rude in their handling of patients and a completely normal request telling me to go out of my way to travel an hour tomorrow each way to get these copies OR they offer to MAIL it to me which is a joke as this injury needs immediate attention and can not wait weeks for them to mail it...

Absolutely ridiculous I should have stuck to NYU and never come here ... Absurd.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Now they are 30min late for my MRI due to taking an in-patient that had no appointment. WOW

I took my 4 month old daughter to ER there because she was breathing irregularly only to wait in the ER waiting room for 5 hours. We were told a pediatrician was not on call tonight and a normal physician would see her, however, the people at the front registration desk there maybe a wait time of 8 hours... We gave up and took our daughter elsewhere.

I visited Lawrence hospital 2 days ago for a recurring underarm abscesses. Dr Lahn as well as the other nurses i encountered, ensured that my experience there was close to pain free. I have needed this treatment done 5 times and this was the only time I can say the experience was not excruciating. Even after I relayed to the Dr that I was not a fan of the anesthetic that he was using, he assured me that he knew how to use it. My wait was not long for a Saturday morning and I was comfortable. I would recommend Lawrence to anyone.

It"s been years now. I gave birth to all 3 of my children at Lawrence Hospital. At the time it was one of the best hospital to go to. Doctors, Nurses and staff were all wonderful. It seems that all this negativity has taken place one New York Presbyterian came into play.

I almost lost my life due to the works of this hospital. Tried to send me home with painkillers for extreme back pain when I COULDNT WALK I was taken in by ambulance too. They finally gave me an MRI 48 hours later and I needed emergency spine surgery. I almost became paralyzed because it took them so long to give me an MRI. They told me I had sciatica LOL! Then the MRI showed I had a cyst pushing on the nerves up to my brain! If you or anyone you love needs medical attention, do not go to this hospital. I trusted them with my body and health and they failed me multiple times. This would have never happened at another hospital. And like many other reviews say, a lot of 20 year old nurses took care of me and made lots of mistakes. All around just really terrible what they did to me. I almost died at the hands of this careless hospital.

This hospital dropped from a 5 star, if there was no star, I'd use it. My family has been coming here for 40 years. I have never seen worse, even in terrible hospitals in NYC. The emergency room was full of ants and bugs. My husband's room had insects too. There was an incident with gas and they covered it up. The best people are the Nurses, Nurse's Aids (the ones who clean the vomit) and the Radiology Dept. Tim in Radiology is the BEST. I notice that all the better reviews are two years old and that is about the time when you began to change. YES FILTH and MORE.

Walked in Emergency room at 10:30pm Currently still here at 6 am waiting to see doctor. Staff member said it s been busy like this for 3 months for some reason and you would think they would have extra doctors on hand something to help. I sat there and watched people leave or get frustrated along with me about the wait. Unbelievable last time ever coming here to the emergency room.

Who comes up with the words emergency room there is nothing emergency about this room. Where is the staff is everybody sleeping. In the emergency room for over 3hrs without a single person name is call. Nobody cares about the sick. Whatever reason we are here for I can assure you that everybody is going to get better before anyone of us see the doctor. Unprofessional staff worse hospital eveeeer.

I came to this ER very freaked out bc I was feeling terrible pain during my 3rd month in pregnancy. Everyone was so nice. They really took good care of me and reassured my mind that everything was okay. The doctors and nurses did routine checks on me until the lab work was complete. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone! I m definitely going to give birth here as well! Thank you for your amazing service and professionalism

Took my 4 year old(who has delays so he doesn't speak alot) to the ER here for a high fall from a swing, figured it being a monday, they'd see him quickly, but we waited & waited & after an hour plus and he hadn't even been seen by the triage nurse to check his stats!!!! & it wasn't even packed!!! We will NEVER go here again, you'll die in the waiting room waiting to be seen, even in the city with a over crowded waiting room, they check to make sure you're ok, never again, ridiculous.

Do not come to the emergency room !!!! The only person who knew what she was doing was a nurse named Mary. The staff at the reception desk after 11pm was a joke. Five hours in I still have not been seen and nobody knows what they re doing one doctor on staff they said this is absolutely ridiculous. Never again!!!!

I gave natural birth in August to my first born at Lawrence Hospital and had a great experience. All the medical staff was very nice and competent. The food was good. One of the nurses went out her way and gave me a beautiful crochet blanket for my son. Everyone was very accommodating to us and my guest who came to visit. I plan on giving birth to my second one here.

I literally saw some people start their shift and clock out and I m still waiting here with my sick Fiance. Unbelievable!
Unless you are bleeding to death or having a heart attack you will wait 5, 6 plus hours and not to mention the ladies in reception need training in treating people with kindness and actually service the patients that come in. A little smile won t hurt anybody. You could tell they hate their job. Awful!

Had the WORST EXPERIENCE ever waited over 6 hours and was no where close to being seen. Was told we are next for 3 hours only to be told after waiting 6 hours that only 1 doctor was on call and the rooms in the back are packed and I won't be called for another 3 hours at least. My daughter wad in a lot of pain. I watched at least 10 people walk out bc of the wait and we're there before me and poor young kids 2-4 yrs old being woken up to check vitals 3 times. My daughters vitals wereally checked 2 times to be told you will keep waiting. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Will definitely file a complaint about this.

Worst ER emergency experience ever for my 2-year old son, my spouse and myself. Very bad service and infinite waiting times in the middle of the night with my son vomiting and crying. The waiting was in the middle of a corridor. But they didn't care. Of course, the finance guy was immediately with us asking for the insurance card and credit card -- that part was very fast. The funniest part started a few weeks after the ER visit, when collection letters started to arrive to our home, even though we were supposed to pay only the $75 copay.

I have been at this hospital several times. All of the experiences have been very positive. 1. They took us in right away. 2. Tests where performed within 30min of getting to the hospital, including blood work. 3. Staff was very compassionate and knowledgeable from the front desk to the ER staff and doctor. 4. Everything is clean and quite. 5. We had a spacious private room. Overall, under the circumstances of needing medical assistance...it felt good to be in good hands of trusted knowledgeable staff.

Brought my friend in Bc he lost feeling in both his legs and we waited for 5 hours. Two girls were bleeding from their heads and they waited the same amount of time. I m pretty sure this old lady that was in a wheel chair died in the waiting room. She looked very weekend at Bernie s-esque.

Hospitals in North Korea have better service than this place.

Can patient care and client service get any worse ...

Can patient care and client service get any worse than at Lawrence Hospital? Since April 2019 my father has been in and out of Lawrence and we can't ever seem to find out what they have done or are doing for him. Communication with health practitioners ranges from terrible to non-existent. If you find a nurse with whom to communicate, you're lucky. Forget about speaking with a physician. If you happen to be there and search one out, good luck finding one who, if he/she decides to open up, can speak English. I hate it when the ambulance takes him there! Our family's rating of this "hospital" is NO stars!

After so many years of visiting this hospital, i am convinced that their strongest area is Maternity Department. They have the best Maternity ward. All other departments . When I say this was THE WORSE HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO, DEALING WITH THEIR ER , I was sent from city md because they considered me an emergency due to my left arm swelling up and they they weren't sure if I had a blood clot or not and needed a ultra sound on my shoulder and arm. I waited 7 HOURS TO SEE A DOCTOR! I HAD EXCRUCIATING PAIN AND WAS IN TEARS! They had the nerve to try to take my vitals two times and I had to get RUDE which I was trying not to do! I asked the nurse, WHY AM I TAKING VITALS AGAIN? His response, OH WE HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY FEW HRS TO UPDATE THE INFO .... pure B.S. , you think you're going to try and BUY TIME WITH ME DOING VITALS FOR A 2ND TIME LIKE I'M STUPID OR SLOW???? Only to finally get to the back to be seen by a DR AND THEY WERE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Then there were only 2 doctors working smh..... my husband and I were extremely tired and hungry. My husband was trying to explain to the Doctor how tired and hungry he was and his response was, WELL GO EAT.... I will never go to this place again! Understaffed ,unprofessional, no compassion, rude, no consideration.... the only good thing that came out of all of this was THE SECURITY GUARD GIVING IS A PASS FOR FREE PARKING! All of this from 7/27/18 7p arriving to 7/28/18 6am finally arrived home. I WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS!

I am simply giving a 5 star review for one person in particular. A gentleman named Xavier answered me when I called the number provided by google and let me say, kind is an understatement, he was the sweetest man I have ever spoken to and he was so eager and ready to help me, if your hospital employed more people like him, it would be the best hospital in the state. Xavier I hope you see this review and know that I truly smiled through out our entire conversation, you re the kindest person I ve ever spoken to there. Keeping being yourself and I hope more people experience your level of warmth and hospitality because they ll be just as happy as I am right now.

Best,

Kayla

ER doctors at pretty much every hospital are not really good however I had the most amazing experience during my labor and delivery last August. The nurses were like angels and helped me recover fast and feel comfortable in such a vulnerable position, the food was delicious, the maternity suites are spacious and they accommodated my Husband with a sleep area and blankets, and they even provided him with meals as well! I ended up having to have an epidural due to hours of pain from the Pitocin so by the time I was 8 cm dilated, my body gave out and I ve been afraid of getting one my whole life however the anesthesiologist did such a great job! I had pain on and off in back for about 4 weeks and my legs but haven t had any since then! Currently 9 months pregnant and although I live an hr away, I plan on making arrangements so I can have my second one there again! Great maternity ward staff!

Worst Hospital in the area!!! Took my 2 year old with 102 fever, irritable and vomiting to the emergency room and after telling me for 2 hours "The doctor will see you in 5 minutes" not a doctor in sight. They did not even provide ibuprofen to lower the fever. Left this butchering place and took my toddler to Valhalla hospital with a fever of 104, where he was treated in a quarter of the time we wasted coming to Lawrence.

Brought my mother for chest pain and tightness; with a history of Cardiac complications. Waited in empty waiting room for an hour and a half and now stuck in a room without being seen by a doctor for two hours. The nurse won't even dischange until being seen by a doctor - while also not being able to provide an ETA. Nobody came to check in or let us know what was happening and when asked seemed very uninterested. Horrible. Go else where.

Emergency room is the worst. No compassion no care. Son has a hernia and needs to lie down. Staff refuses to provide a gurney say he must figure it out in the waiting room on chairs. Definitely go somewhere else. Waiting hrs. Only one medical person doing desk and triage. More security than doctors

The worst ER experience in the tri-state area. Five hour wait when there was no one there, a total lack of concern from any of the doctors or nurses, and overall confusion and mess. The staff is rude, the doctors do not explain anything, the wait times are just completely unreasonable. No matter how many times you ask for attention, even for time sensitive issues that require immediate attention, you will wait hours as the personnel do other things.

With so many other hospitals nearby, there is just no reason to ever come here.

This place have me waiting 5 hours without call me to a room, I been here for different times and today is the worst experience ever I won't recommend this place, the front desk woman named Fiona Rise skip people I even ask her why is going so slow and she replied there more hospital options. This place is full of favoritism.

Tomorrow it makes a year, when I brought my 4 year old with pneumonia to this wonderful hospital! The hospitality, attention, care and dedication of the whole pediatric ward is uncomperable. I am truly so grateful and appreciative of how the whole staff took care of not only my daughter, but myself also. We stood here for 5 days, the nurses didn't miss a beat on anything. They even made sure that I was comfortable and getting rest. It was very exhausting and scary, to say the least, to see my child in such condition. But again I thank Dr. Merer, the nurses and whole staff of Lawrence Hospital for bringing my baby back to health. I am for ever grateful and I always tell people that this is one of the best hospitals that I've ever been in. Both of my c-sections were done at this hospital too! Nothing but great experiences here!

New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital is by far ...

New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital is by far the best hospital in all of Westchester. This hospital does not compare to others, especially when it comes to wait times in the Emergency Room. At times yes it is a wait but you are accomodated as best as possible and the staff works as quickly as possible to ensure the absolute best quality of care. Aside from the excellent quality of care, this hospital is extremely clean, and well maintaned. I love coming here and cannot imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend this hospital for all of your healthcare needs.

My Husbad and I went to this hospital on 4.28.18. We we got there at 7:45 pm and at 10:17 PM the front desk person called us to register us. That means from 745 to 1015 we sat there and waited and waited and waited . We sat there and watched the front desk staff laughed and joked around while the waiting room area was filled with people. When we were called to register my husband asked the lady how long the wait would be her response was I have no idea very very unprofessional. This hospital just had a facelift but nothing about it has changed the CEO of this company for this hospital in Bronxville New York needs to intervene and come in there anonymously and act as a patient and see what goes on in his hospital. Furthermore if you have little kids I would not recommend you taking them to this hospital for ER care because they will be forced to wait a very long time just like the other adults. I am rateing this hospital experience 0.0.0 stars the only reason why I have to click on one star is to allow this post to go through but my rating is zero stars. This ER experience has been the worst hospital experience I ve ever encountered. Serious change needs to happen at this hospital in Bronxville New York . Very dissatisfied patient

The worst Hospital ever, please do not come here. Called to ask a question the Nurse that was on duty answered the phone and she was so rude!! 0 stars - our taxes are so high expensive here in Bronxville and we do not have a good hospital. Ridiculous!

My wife gave birth here this week and rated the experience favorably compared to a hospital in the Bronx where she had her first two. A nice private room in the maternity ward, friendly staff, and good food all help to make it pleasant- or at least as pleasant as a stay in the hospital can be. There is a nice view of Bronxville from the maternity ward and a 4th-floor roof garden.
My only major complaint would be a lack of communication regarding some hospital procedures: namely, there was confusion in the literature as to whether she would get a private or a semi-private room (answer: all the maternity rooms are private), and the use of the maternity ward wristbands for parking (in order to get unlimited parking for the baby's father, you need to show the wristband to the cashier to obtain a $10 "Daddy pass"- even though my wife said the wristband allowed me to park for $2).

Go elsewhere! Doctors are unresponsive and some don't even come in to make their rounds to see patients assigned under their care during the hospital stay. They will run unnecessary tests and when questioned the response is, "well they could have refused it"

This has nothing to do with the hospital but with the parking. You are required to have valet parking unless you want to hit a meter in the street. That being said, I used the valet service and I noticed two days later that my EZPass was missing. I found out the hard way, when I had to use it. They increased security in the hospital itself but parking is a joke.

My husband and I have been waiting in the emergency room for over 3 hours and have not been called in to see a doctor. The waiting are is so packed with sick people AND SICK CHILDREN. It is unbelievable that anyone has to Wait this long to be seen. We come all the way here expecting to be seen faster than the packed emergency rooms in the city. I'm very disappointed. Why are the doctors and nurses moving at such a slow pace.
Utter disgust and frustration. We have been here many times in the past and the wait has never been this ridiculous. We ended up leaving and hoping to recover at home becaue we couldn't wait any longer, we both have to work in the morning!

My ER experience was pretty good. I had areferral from urgent care so that sped up the process. The staff was boggled down with folks but still polite and efficient. The doctor's weren't so bad either. I'd go back if I had to. Fingers crossed that I don't.

The worst hospital experience possible. Made me wait 4 hours to be seen. Then the "doctor" backus didn't have a real diagnosis! He wanted to give me medication that would possibly cause a miscarriage. When my husband intervened, he said he would prescribe me whatever my husband chose! Then said he would give me an iv, I waited over a half hour and nothing. Then I just left and the woman at the check out wanted me to pay $150 for basically being tortured!!!! They're emergency room is a death room! Never going there again!
