It's a nice Aquarium. There is a beautiful corral reef type tank that's in the center of the whole complex which goes up by four flours and holds many many fish. Beautiful to see all those fish in that space and cool to see the staff put on their wet suits and driving masks and get into the tank to feed those fish. Any kid would be in awe with this aquarium. I don't recommend bringing someone who gets worried about animal living space in captivity(a.k.a me) with you because they will ruin the awe that comes from seeing all these fish.

This is the only aquarium I've been to up north and it definitely had some great exhibits. The octupi are really neat to watch move around & the different penguins they have are fun to watch hop, swim, and goof around. We also went to a 3D movie they were showing. The movie was interesting & informative, and the seats were very comfortable.

This aquarium has a very unique setup including a spiral ramp that hours around a giant cylindrical tank in the center of the space. It also allows viewers outside of the aquarium to see the seals and sea lions. Great reefs, amazing sea turtles. Beautiful Aquarium.

Beautiful Aquarium, with many marine life exhibits. I enjoyed my Saturday trip here. I recommend that is you are going on the weekend to go as soon as they open because after 11am the aquarium starts to get very busy and it becomes hard to walk around. I really liked the Imax experience (watched Turtle Odyssey) And if you lived in the area or have a friend who does, you can get discounted ticket at the public library which is great. Only paid $10 for tickets.

The pinguins get The attention. This is incredibble. The 200.000 gal tank with more than 500 species inside is nothing less that amazing.

The last Star will be given once they Pay more attention and keep cleaner The sea mammals area, which looks somehow abandoned.

A wonderful aquarium next to the sea. Winding circular route takes you up different levels around the main tank. Not too many big sharks in the tank - just bonnetheads and reef sharks - but it s quite a display nonetheless with its shape. Giant pompano in there. Also a massive Asian arowana. Penguins as soon as you walk in. An incredible reef tank with seemingly every marine fish in the hobby. Everything is well cared for. Great job keeping such an old iconic aquarium up to date!

Great place to go to. People say it is expensive to go. However if you actually think of the cost to feed just the centre aquarium which has about 925 living fish and sea life I feel that 30.00 is a great price. We spent just over an hour here. During this time they were feeding the Penguins, and the centre aquarium. Lots of information everyone was friendly. A Great time.

This place is an absolute madhouse. The congestion inside is terrible. It is overcrowded with hordes of pushing, shoving people with strollers not having any consideration for anyone else. Everyone is screaming and shouting at the top of their lungs. At every turn you are cut off or cut in front of. We stood in an unmoving line for 45 minutes just to get to the touch tank with starfish and urchins only to find out the reason it took so long was because people were shoving in through the exit against the flow of traffic. I would find something else to do.

This place sucks. There really wasn t anything to make it stand out over any other aquarium. It is far overpriced, and not built in a way to handle large amounts of people. I don t understand why this is such a popular tourist attraction. Just swing by a local dentist office and take a look at their tank of fish for free instead, about the same level of excitement

Gorgeous and well kept, with knowledgeable staff - small and expensive though! Fun day trip, but expect the pocket hit. The gift shop didn't help nice selection of products and memorabilia. At least go once!

I love aquariums and this is one of the local ones near me. This aquarium has many things to see such as the big tank with the sharks, sea turtles, and many more! They have many jelly fish like the moon jellyfish where you they will feed it certain things and just let them glow with the black light. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer every questions you provide them. I would recommend that you come here during their feeding time where you can watch the shark and other fishes eat.

I had a blast at the aquarium! I was overwhelmed by all of the tanks and how many different types of fish there were. The touch tank was full of rays who would brush past your fingers in schools but no sharks when we were there. The only major drawback was that the large tank in the middle is currently being renovated so was empty for our trip. But to compensate, we received tickets to the IMAX to be used right then or a date in the future. Totally worth going, even if it's your first time and you're 29-years old.

I loved this aquarium! We don t have sea turtles at the aquarium here in Atlanta so I was super excited. I thought the set up was super cool how you could walk up the ramp and see the fish and turtles. The are pretty interactive with the guests and give a lot on info on the sea life.

I've been visiting this aquarium my whole life. I was disappointed that they no longer have the barge you can walk to from the dock for dolphin shows and other large marine mammal educated based shows, unlike SeaWorld . Dont get me wrong I live Sea World and the access it provide us humans to look these mystical creatures in the eye, I just don't believe their honesty in their mission statement as a whole. The Boston Aquarium is growing and expanding subways and brings to life real life threats such as bio-diversity and out coral Caribbean reefs in jeopardy of endangerment.

Beautiful marine life, but in a small space. This building needs to be at least one more story to fit everyone. It's still one of my favorite places and I'll enjoy taking my daughter here for many years to come. I do wish some of the tanks were more visible. Some are only visible from one side.

Great place to take kids. We went a couple of years ago and now that the expansion is complete it is even better than the last time we visited. The kids loved the hands on activities and the huge 4 story aquarium. So many different species of sea life that a day is not really long enough to see and read everything. Plus the shows with the sea lions! Great place to see while in Boston!

Amazing place to learn the importance of our oceans and its ecosystems. All of our kids must visit to be part of the solution for a better understanding of our planet. If we take care of our oceans, then we can succeed in the first step to be part of the solution climate change

Another Boston "must." Crowded with a ton of little kids, but that just adds to the fun. Make sure to work you way all the way to the top of the "tank" and go ahead and ask the staff questions ... they are more than happy to answer your questions about the aquarium life

Very busy when I went on a monday. Not very expensive for the attraction itself but you also have to pay to park. Family fun but I went simply as a sea life enthusiast and there were too many people for my liking. Will have to go during an off season for sure. Lots of tourists!

Came here for a field trip with my sons class.. staff didn't really acknowledge my son's class, which I probably know why.. (ahem cough inner-city) but I always get disappointed with the lack of things this place does. I remember growing up and coming here when I was in elementary school. They would take the school kids and have them to do special events in the back.. touch the aquatic animals and then finish with the 4d live screen(auditorium) now its definitely not like that. So sad these kids dont get to experience.. and the lack of the Aquarium of not having anything new since the 90's...

This place is so much fun. It is really neat to have the huge tank in the middle and be able to walk up to the top, spiraling around it. There are touch tanks, lockers for rent, and bathrooms. Parking must be on city streets or in highly priced parking garages, if not taking the train.

It was a wonderful place when I had college work study hours in 1977-78. It is hugely improved since then with a larger, more natural touch tank. One of the Sea Turtles in the big tank now was there in 77! They have long lives!

Overcrowded and unorganized, left me shaking my head as to why this place even exists. While standing outside waiting in line it started to rain, yet they have nothing covering over top so while you wait in line you get soaked in the rain. Smart move Boston.
