We went out on this trip because we had never seen whales. The boat was very comfortable although it was hard to find a place to sit all the time. I don't know how many people were on this cruise but it was a lot. Keep that in mind as it was hard to find a place at the railing to look for the whales. Also, take along some polarized sunglasses as it is hard to see the whales when there is glare on the water.

My first aquarium experience. Large variety of sea animal such as, penguins, white turtle, fishes and other sea creatures. You can buy aquarium combo ticket with other activities like whale watching, duck tours trip, etc.

Nice aquarium, the open air penguin exhibits are especially nice. There were also some exhibits where you could interact with the animals which was nice. The octopus was especially interesting

The New England Aquarium is a great walking option for rainy days, it has a huge variety of species. We are going up the levels through ramps and in the middle have a large aquarium with a sea turtle to delight the eyes of people of all ages. There are areas that we can even touch on marine animals! The ideal is to go with enough time to enjoy everything and still have a break in the souvenir shop.

This is a good aquarium. Definitely too expensive but I have never been to an aquarium where that has not been true. It is cool and there are some really majestic sea turtles. Those are fun to see. Yeah. I mean. It was probably worth it to pay for admission with a toddler because wow kids love aquariums but...

We had a great time here. It had been a few years since we had last been and we're really happy with the improvements. The main area has a new coral structure that is much better for fish watching.
The downstairs turtle exhibit has been replaced with a shark exhibit that has some amazing little sharks
All in all a wonderful time

We loved our experience at this aquarium! While the aquarium is one of the smaller ones I have been to, it was clean, informative, and has a great layout. The main attraction here are the penguins and large fish tank in the center of the exhibits. I highly recommend.

Lots of fun, great for kids who like the ocean and want to explore it further. Its pricey, not a cheap trip and when you walk thru it you may not feel like you got your moneys worth unless you go to the touch and see exhibits with the kids! My toddler had fun, parking was expensive about half the price of admission for 3 people. But well worth the trip and if you have a group it's cheaper. The parking garage closest by is not accepting CC right now so we had to walk around for change which isnt great in the cold.

This is a really unique aquarium design compared to others in the country. The penguins were my favorite part of the visit. The staff here were very friendly and they obviously take good care of the animals. If you have time to visit the aquarium while in Boston I recommend it. 10/10 experience here!!!

I've been waiting to write this review, while aI do admit I went presidents day weekend, I did not expect the crowds that was there. I really wish they had a timed entry, so everyone has a chance. I also think there needs to be more order with the interactive exhibits and more suggested caution for families around the big tank and penguin areas. I just kept imagining with all the pushing and bumping from the crowds that a child could fall/jump in.
My biggest issue though is the picture they have you take in the beginning, the only way you can see it at the end is by getting it printed out, if you don't want to pay over $30 for it, they throw it out. I find this udderly rediculous and extremely wasteful. How can we talk about garbage in the oceans and other habitats and then contribute to the waste for a profit. I really hope they stop doing that and just turn the computer screen around.

Really cool! Some lines were long for the touch pools, but lots of exhibits and interesting topics more than made up for that! Has a cafe inside and a good gift shop. This is a great place to take kids!

Amazing exhibits and fantastic shows. My kiddos loved seeing the harbor seals and lived seeing the divers feed the fish and sharks and all the other stuff in the giant tank. They especially loved being able to touch the sting rays in the touch tank. It was very packed and a ton of people were there which made it slightly uncomfortable with long wait times but for a place this cool you have to expect it. The only complaint i have is that I pad 25 bucks for one picture not even in a frame. They tried to sell me 2 pictures in like a little paper book thing about the aquarium and a small photo frame and magnet for 44 but it just was not worth that much. Especially since if you dont order the pictures they throw them away right in front of you...obviousley it aint worth much for them to make them either so why charge so damn much for a family to have such an awesome memory. They should be happy to do that considering we paid 33 bucks a piece for 5 tickets

Very disappointing experience! Extremely crowded, could not see much of anything, and the layout made this even more difficult. No big sharks, very small area dedicated to sharks. Mostly smaller fish. Also, I wanted to buy one print of me and my family that was taken as we entered the aquarium, but they said I had to buy at least two prints for over $30. I would save my money and find something more valuable to do in the area.

A nice place to spend an afternoon with family. They have a decent number of tanks and the central cylindrical tank is very cool, but I do feel that it is a bit expensive for how much time you can reasonably spend there .

My first time coming to an aquarium and it was absolutely breath taking! I loved watching the penguin feedings and going to the starfish and stingray touch ponds! Definitely recommend coming here during a trip to Boston and will definitely be coming back during my next trip!

The giant Pacific octopus is by far the king of this aquarium, in all honesty the king of Boston. We should really consider this octopus for government, I think it could bring great things to this city. In all seriousness, this was the most badass octopus I've ever seen in my life, it made the whole visit worth it.

Excellent aquarium! Even when it is crowded you don t feel claustrophobic. The exhibits are very clean, and they do so much for marine conservation! I encourage everyone in the area to visit. For those who drive, parking is right next to the building, and there is also a T stop very close (blue line). When you are done looking at the fish, you can take a stroll on the pier or go have some seafood at many of the waterfront locations nearby.
