Plenty of parking and a cell lot people waiting to pick up. A bit of a drive from the city, but overall newer facilities. Arts Wave Cincinnati regularly performs here.

Quite few restaurants and coffee shops, but this airport has plenty of areas to plug in your PC and work.
I drive up from Louisville it's cheaper to leave from Cincinnati
Picking up cars for local dealers from hertz rental, big sell out.
This is a pretty, clean airport. Fast luggage service. Difficult to get to the rental cars - its a mini shuttle bus ride, and we had to wait for over 30 minutes for the shuttle bus to even show up after we got our luggage - pretty painful after an otherwise relatively pleasant experience in the airport.
Decent, small airport. I've never had an issue going through security and people are usually friendly.
My favorite airport it doesn't feel like an international airport they have the most helpful staff always clean and friendly. I'm always happy with the food services, lack of delays and well organized. Most international airports make you wonder why you can to this place not this one. They make you feel at home even if this isn't your home.
Great Airport with modern convincing. But the airport still seems extremely empty.
It was nice, but not a lot of planes taking off. Could have been the time we were there.
Very organized with friendly TSA agents... one of the best airports to fly out of. It's very small so you don't have to rush to get to your gate.
I understand changes happen but trying to get decent food at CVG is a pain. Chick Fil-A and Max n' Erma's is closed but looks like it could open at any second. No signs saying they aren't going to open. Also, the airport closed half the bathrooms instead of just cleaning them all more often during Covid. I'd like to see some positive changes at CVG besides slightly more affordable prices than in the past.
This airport charges 6$ per person to smoke a cigarette after the security checkpoint. Out of 20+ airports, this is the first place that has this "fee." Never getting a flight here again.
As we flew over the Ohio River, I was already in a good mood. I had no trouble at all getting around. I enjoyed the staff, my luggage was handled properly, and there were plenty of people to help. I will be glad for another layover at this airport.
Very nice. Neat clean very modern. People working there EXTREMELY nice.
Consistently the SLOWEST baggage claim airport in the country
Over the years I have been to this airport probably over 100 times. Very easy to navigate and the employees help you if lost.
Have flown in and out of this airport for over 14 years. Always enjoy it. Just wish they had more non-stops again. There is a great selection of shops and restaurants for the number of flights the airport still has.
Come through here once a year as a passenger and it has always been a breeze. TSA is fast and efficient in comparison to other larger airports. In the past when have I used the frgt services into CVG things are handled professionally but with a touch of down home kindness that you don't usually find at other major airports frgt handling departments. Friendly and clean not to mention kind. Good job CVG!
I came into the Cincinnati airport. I had contacted my cab, that I had prearranged to pick me up at the airport. When heading to my cab I had to go all the way to the garage which is about a block away from arrivals. My cab driver had informed me that she was told she couldn't park at the arrivals whether she had contacted her customer or not. And if she remained there she would be charged $200 fine. This is ridiculous. I am a young woman and I can walk the distance, but what if I was a elderly lady , who would have difficulty walking that block to the car. There were clearly other cars picking up at arrivals, why is my cab driver not allowed to do the same. I pride myself on my college education. So I am smart enough to realize. This is nothing more than discouraging people from taking a cab, I believe it a way to get people to call uber, which I hate, because there is no one ever I can actually speak to in case of a issue, and Ive had a few issues with them in the past and refuse to take one ever again. Now I have this issue at the Cincinnati airport. I just think it shows very poor customer service and make me a very unhappy customer
Very nice airport, well maintained, big open and spacious. Nice central food area with decent dining options. Baggage claim is a bit of a hike. Most take the train from the terminal to baggage. Also, rental cars are not attached to the airport. You'll need to take the shuttle.
Really nice airport, long walk to B terminal if you don't take the train. If you're in the mood to walk and put in your steps, go for it!!
Not bad...all the shops were closed at noon on a Saturday...and ignore the other review on power outlets...they exist at each gate
A very clean and manageable airport. Shuttles between terminals are almost not necessary. Long term parking is efficient and provides good value. Look for special temporary exhibits from the Cincinnati Museum Center throughout. Decent food options and sundry shops at typical airport prices. Typically can be in downtown Cincinnati in 20 minutes.
Why did you move Ride Share Pickups to an open parking lot a long walk from baggage claim with no signage to say where to go? It s rainy and cold. I will never take another Ride Share from this airport again!!
Very small but not too small easy hub to get around.
Worst airport. How do you close all food and drink places by 8:30 pm on a Friday night when passengers are waiting for flights? Awful!
Easy driving access to parkings and to pick-up/drop-off.
The Queen City (Porkopolis) Airport has a regional airport feel yet services a big metropolitan area. Easy to navigate and find one's way around. Some construction is happening at the time of this review. Worthwhile to walk the tunnel to the concourses if one finds the classic paddle wheel steamboats of the early 20th century of interest - lovely scale models from the museum.
The staff is friendly and extremely helpful for a first time flier like me.
This is a wonderful airport. The employees help you get through security quickly and efficiently, and are very friendly and helpful.
The distance from where I am is the only downfall; I love this airport because the people are nice and the airport is clean.
Easy in and out for a traveler. Tends to be on the high side for booking tickets. Good shuttle service to the long term parking.
clean airport / polite staff / easy to navigate. thanks, it was a pleasure to visit cvg
It's very unusual that you have to go through customs, collect your bags, go back through security and re-check your bags just to collect them again when leaving the airport from an international flight. If you bought any liquids at the previous airport, you will have to put them in your checked bags before putting them through security the second time, or else throw them away. The people in that area are always rude. Today, after putting all my stuff on the rollers to the conveyor and getting in line for the body scan, the security man standing at the conveyor, who was doing nothing, ordered me to get out of line to go back to the rollers to push my bags up to the conveyor. I told him they weren't my bags and he gave me a short lecture on teamwork. It seems to me that if the man was an advocate of teamwork then maybe he would've just pushed the bags down instead of doing nothing and ordering me to get out of line and push someone else's bags. That area shouldn't even be there, it's overkill on checking the bags when they were just checked before getting on the plane, and it's always unpleasant in that area with the staff. It should not take two hours just to leave an airport!
I stood in line at the Delta Airlines Special Services desk for over an hour. I've never seen it that long in any airport I've been to. When I got to the front desk, they told me I didn't check in 45 minutes before my flight (I apparently checked in 35 minutes before my flight) and they had overbooked the flight given my seat away. They wouldn't let me get on my flight. Worst service I've ever had.
I'm glad CVG is my "home " airport. It's easy to get in and out of. TSA lines never out of control busy. You can either walk, do the moving walkways or take rail to Terminals. Terminals have appropriate seating and wide walkways. Terminals each have good food selections. Each terminal has a Starbucks. There is also one right before the TSA lines. Edit to add: I really like the food court seating area in the "B" Terminal which is the Delta concourse . Some high top seating with plug ins for gadgets. I prefer the seating by the windows with fairly comfortable chairs and outlets for electronics. Kinda away from the rest of the seating. Nice little kids play area too. The "A" terminal has a nice sit down restaurant and a great burger joint (smash burger). The terminals are a short 5-7 minute walk from one another, with moving sidewalks even faster. So you can terminal hop if you'd like to broaden your restaurant choices. "B" terminal has an Outback, Max and Ermas, Vino something, Chick Fil A, McD's etc. EDIT 5-10-18: TSA lines were the longest I've ever seen. HOWEVER, still got through the line in 15 minutes. They are super efficient.
Need the arrival / pick up parking area open. It would be much easier for someone to wait in the free parking area for picking up passengers.
A lot of construction is going on long term parking was closed, it's a mess.
Who doesn't love a direct flight, non-stop to and from. Sometimes that simply isn't possible and you get to have layovers. Unable I got to stay in this lovely airport for 6 hours.
When I saw Cincinnati I thought Ohio and when I thought Ohio I thought Cleveland or Columbus, but the official name is Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Way to get technical for such a small airport. Anyhow not to bag on them. My biggest gripe wasn't the airport itself, but lack of bars, lounges that allowed vaping. Their smoking section is being remodeled and all smokers (vape and cigarettes) must go to Wolfgang Puck's bar area (minimum purchase as well).
Since it's not that large the concourses are wide open with tons of windows and natural light. They have the usual book and media stands and a fair amount of shopping and a few restaurants like Outback. A wine bar, a few other bars and Wolfgang, but as I entered each and asked if electronic cigarettes are ok, all said they were not despite my quick tutorial and education. The bathrooms are quite nice, though the H1N1 hand washing warning was a little scary.
I fully believed it to be international as my conversations included a group of 20 something's from France, an Australian Rugby player. Despite my extended layover I found my stay pleasant despite my terrible eating habits eating here. Very few options that are even remotely not fast food.
Gate waiting areas were comfy, though not quite loungeable. It service only a few airlines, but they are clearly marked. The rapid phone charging stations I did not trust as they seemed abused, just use the free charging outlets.
Very busy and mostly friendly. Elevators are a bit of a distance from escalators. Conveyor belts were down for this last trip, but everyone was handling it well. Lots of shopping and good places to eat.
Worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with at an airport. Avoid this place unless it is absolutely necessary for your travels.
I recently booked a last minute flight to Florida on Frontier. My flight was departing at 6am and I arrived an hour and a half prior to 6 am. After waiting in a line for 45 minutes I was told I would NOT be able to board my flight because I had a checked bag and missed their made up cut off by five minutes.
This airport hires a private company to handle ticketing and customer service. They did not work for the airline. The person I dealt with was very rude and lied to me stating it was a TSA policy which it is NOT. She then booked me on the next flight out at 6:30 pm that evening.
Easy parking at the terminal, a little expensive but being so close to the entrance makes it worth the extra few bucks over cheaper park and ride options. Check in was smooth and fast, things might be different on busier days as the airport was not crowded on my last trip. TSA checkpoint was very fast, surprisingly easy, and the checkpoint workers were very cordial. In fact every employee at the airport that interacted with my child did so in an extremely friendly and caring manner. They made what can be a stressful event for a child into a very cool adventure of friendly faces with new and cheerful people at every turn. A+ experience for my family and I, your mileage may vary.
I had a pleasant experience at this airport as my first layover. There's a lot of different food choices, the airport seems pretty easy to navigate (although I was in the B terminal the entire time so I only know about that part of the airport), very clean, plenty of charging stations, neat stores for an airport, and even an area for kids to play in. Not to mention, my flight managed to leave on time despite delays due to the airline overbooking thanks to all staff involved. I doubt I'll be in Cincinnati again but if I am I'll be glad to revisit this airport!
Nice airport. Blaze pizza serves raw pizza and the customer service is horrible. Employees don't know what they are doing and move as slow as possible. 8/13/18 13:30
The CVG airport is an awesome place to fly thru with southern hospitality.
CVG is one of the smallest airport but have good connectivity to various important places in USA. In airport, all the features are good except that we need to plan to be much ahead. The security line in the mornings are very big which we normally don t expect but one hour didn t worked for me and I had to miss my flight. That was one of my very bad day and the next flight I was given was 6 hours but that got delayed by 10 Hours and with two small kids I had to stay in the airport for 13 hours and then had to rebook for the next morning. This time I planned to be at the airport by 5:20 am and by the time I reached gate it is close to 6:35 am with no baggage check in. If you have little kids (mainly infant), please plan to be at least two hours before.
The TSA line is very big and especially with kids and elders they need to work differently by having them moved to a separate line. I had to walk close to 1 KM holding my baby(almost 2 years) in the line which is hard some times. So please be generous with the infants and elderly people and have some special arrangements done for them.
Fly every week, considering the volume of passengers this is the worst run airport I've frequented in the US. Plan extra time getting your checked baggage as several times it's taken over an hour to come out. Also, ground crews are never ready so typically you spend a long while parked on the jetway waiting for a crew. This has been consistent over the past two years. I try to fly out of Dayton when I can. Very slow on all fronts.
@southwestair needs to come to CVG! We need lower fares!
I was picing up. It was very easy. Went to arrivals and parked. Was able to wait 20 minutes for bae bae
Way, WAY too expensive to fly out of CVG. I prefer to drive to Columbus or Louisville for a flight.
This is a medium sized airport with few international flights and many domestic flights. It is well maintained and organised. It is not very far from the main city and thus accessible. There are good dining options and few shops in the airport. The staff is friendly.
Lake flight inn nothing was open it was very quiet... Fastest trip out ever
Flew in from Dallas. Flight was great and no close contact with other travelers. Everyone kept social distance and that made a huge impact on an easy flight.
Smaller airport but great amenities....better than LAX
Every person I encountered was very nice and welcoming! Electronic check in for Allegiant awesome!!
Easy to navigate. Plenty of places to charge devices. TSA is well executed. Not many amenities, but enough to service your needs. I've been to worse airports, but also, I've been to better. Nothing to avoid at CVG, but nothing to look forward to necessarily either.
Enjoyed the fossil and river boat displays. Well run airport, not too crowded, had all the necessities.
Nice airport. Enterprise Rental and retur very convenient. I like the cubicle that I used to work on with my computer. Good customer service.
Needs to work on the wifi. Low signal and slow speeds
Easy to get around. Quick security lines. Clean. Friendly airport employee's.
Easy to get through security, simple parking, many transportation options, decent amount of quality restaurants and sundries options.
Severely lacking modern rail transit into the city. Have to take a cab or Uber every time (unless you know someone to pick you up). Most expensive airport in the country for what reason? Always dead. CVG does not represent the new Cincinnati, Cincinnatians efforts for quality public transit and definitely doesn't represent the many Fortune 500's that are here.
Compact airport with fancy shops and decent priced food court.
Nice airport, small, clean, easy to get around. Very cool skeletons of prehistoric dinosaurs throughout.
Nice, spacious, and friendly staff. Most flights are on time.
