Clean, efficient and friendly. Underground train from terminal to the gates is helpful. Good retail options. Rental car location being remote is inconvenient, but all in all a good option.

I was only picking up, but not real busy. Looks like they are trying to keep things under "control". Timing of how people more arounding the airport weather your coming or going is VERY ORCHESTRATED. They got it down to an art, my hats off to you!!!

This is the airport from where I traveled in and out the most. One of the best place to connect in the US with decent numbers of options. This airport used to have nearly 700 flights per day. Now, this is catered to local traffic so that the airport is quite comfortable to travel in and out of.

Cvg, is always a great experience. I do miss the days of us being a major hub. It felt for a while the airport was on a steady decline. However it's transitioned to the best regional airport I've ever been to. Unfortunately as air travel continues to struggle even without issues such as pandemics the future is up in the air. Hopefully cvg continues its upward trend. For the time being flights out are good, the airport is well managed and food and shopping are nearly on par with the likes the major International airports. A+

Overall I really like this airport. I fly multiple times a year with my two young children and dog. The airport is easy to navigate and service has always been good. You do occasionally get a grumpy TSA agent but overall they ve been really helpful as I usually have my hands quite full. I ve had great experiences with one of the Air Canada agents. I ve had interaction with her(wish I knew her name) on multiple trips and have always appreciated how hard she works. My one and only complaint and it s a big one: the new location of the ride share pickup!!! The biggest problem being that it s completely exposed to the elements. The other being its located off in the corner. As I said I travel solo with my two young children and small dog. I now have to go all the way to the opposite side to pickup my child seats in oversized baggage drag them all the way to the other side where I then have to stand out in the elements in the middle of the parking lot with my children instead of them being up on a curbside while I unpack my car seats from their bags and organize luggage to quickly load into ride share. This is all fine for a solo average person as they can wait inside out of the elements until the last minute but for someone like me the old location was 100% better. I ve also spoken with multiple ride share drivers that agree as well. The location is not ideal but its manageable. The big open parking lot is less than ideal. Again the only negative thing about CVG.

First time air travel since COVID. Appalled at what small businesses are being required to do but the airport / airlines seem to get a free pass.

Employees wearing masks is the only proactive thing I saw along with a handful of sign.

Security line people are all bunched together. People being allowed to board planes with no masks, no hand sanitizer anywhere, no visual cues about physical distancing on chairs or standing in line for food....

Used to be a nice small airport, but they ve allowed major renovations to roads and facilities to last too long.

The entry to the parking garage has changed three times in the last six months. And if you re hoping for clear signs to direct you there, you re out of luck.

If you do park in the parking garage, you probably want to be on level C. This will allow you to walk directly into the ticketing and security floor. Otherwise, you will be taking the stairs or waiting on the elevators Because they re escalators have been out of service for months.

I m sure this can be a nice airport again when the renovations are complete. However, I was thinking that about a year ago and it s only gotten worse. I m quickly losing my optimism.

I may be biased as this is my "home base", however, CVG is one of the best airports in the country when it comes to low TSA wait times, on-time departures, scheduling, and domestic/international accessibility. The ease of navigating through the A and B terminals is very easy, with multiple options for food/entertainment. The only recommendation I would give is for at least one convenient store to be open by 4 or 5am for the early travelers or red-eye returns. A++ CVG!

The airport is just the right size and not as busy as tristate or Miami airports. It has convenient vending machines that have toiletries if needed which I found aid people who forgot something. The airport has Starbucks, a Chinese restaurant, and other restaurants that will fill your tummy while you wait for your flight. The only downfall is you have to walk a little further than average to get to the baggage claims and the car rentals.

Just flew through here and was overall satisfied. I ran into a couple of rude restaurant workers, but those are very common in airports. Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Line at the ticket counter was long and the ticketing agent wasn't the most professional. However, that's more on Frontier. Flight was delayed by two hours, also on Frontier. However, despite going in on a Sunday afternoon, things moved efficiently. My mom and I had TSA pre-check, and there was no line. TSA agents were very friendly. Even the regular line had a very short line and moved quickly. Do wish there were more dining options, but the few that they have are good. Good gift shops and the prices are reasonable, considering it's an airport. Plenty of seating, ample outlets, and free WiFi are additional plusses.

Great airport. Super clean and very easy navigate. It's literally a straight shot anywhere. They have cool pieces on display from the museum as well as nice food court to grab some food before you fly.

This is one of the worst airports I Have ever been...

This is one of the worst airports I Have ever been too the managers are incompetent rude and uncaring.... brought my son here to catch a flight arrived one minute before the flight closed a very incompetent agent named Michael held them there to almost 30 after because I guess he was coming back late from lunch he is slow unprofessional and took forever to get the supervisor we asked for ...bye the time she got there she told them their option was to grab clothes out of their luggage and that I could mail it to them on Monday and take off running although they had a 7 min walk to security gate and 14 min wait for security... When they decided to reschedule the manager that could have waived the fees knowing that the agent had kept them refused and would not even look them in their face and talk to them till after she finished her lunch around 630...they have a lil Hispanic looking chic there that is unprofessional as ever that seemed to think it's a joke and funny when someone is made to deliberately miss their flight so the airline can get more money. She kept walking around laughing and talking with Mr incompetent and talking about another set of customers that that had done this for.....( although they were a different demographic and I don't wanna play the race card that's what it seemed like ) making sly rude comments that only infuriated me and my family because the whole situation was unnecessary.a nd could have totally been avoided..She spent almost 15 minutes outside talking to the pizza guy...they have so many employees there that were doing nothing but standing in a big group talking...but Noone to man the station while someone was at lunch to get customers on their flight...To make matters worse when I stated to the manger that the whole situation could have been avoided if the agent was on his post and had been not acting dumb...even when we asked her to review the cameras to see what time we arrived.... she got mad and she refused to reschedule the flight without almost 200 worth of fees and told us we had to call customer service to be scheduled if he was so dumb she got in her feelings and started defending saying he's a good agent and would not reschedule for us...We had to be on the phone almost an hour with customer service waiting to be rescheduled...and pay almost 130.00 for a hotel.... Never fly out of this back woods Kentucky airport on Allegiant because they act as if they don't care and that people's money and vacations are a joke..... and if managers act like this no wonder the other employees can't seem to get it right...please stay tuned video and pics to follow!!!!!

Our most recent flight into CVG airport was a disa...

Our most recent flight into CVG airport was a disaster! Upon arrival, my bag came around the carousel completely ruined. Every zipper had been opened and TORN off the bag, there were multiple scuff marks and a hole in the front pocket. Assuming it was an airline issue, we walked to Frontier Customer Service and they gave me a brand new bag at their own expense (come to find out, it was an airport staffing issue). One week later, we flew out of CVG and arrived at the checkin counter 48 minutes prior to departure, due to travel time and traffic. Frontier Airlines has a 45 minute cutoff time for checkin. We were 3 minutes early... But at CVG the checkin staff are employed by the airport instead of the airline. Which means they don't have to care about you or your money. Another woman was at the desk already, and they had already denied her boarding. So I gave them a little piece of my mind and they called a manager for approval in fear the she would "lose her job for letting us board." Naturally, it was approved and the clerk began the process (against her will). It was then that she (as well as the next clerk and manager beside her) started provoking me, my wife and this other lady. I didn't take too kindly to this and started giving her some lip. She proceeded in saying that she was going to "deny all of us boarding if I was going to talk to her that way" (when SHE was the one provoking all of us!). I had to beg for her help in this process - poor thing was throwing a fit. We passed the clerk on the way to the gate and she glared and shook her head at us. In the end, we were able to get our tickets and fly home. There is just no room for that type of behavior in customer service. If you don't know how to serve the customer, you should get a job sitting in a room by yourself. Definitely won't be flying through this over priced airport in the near future. Staff is terrible!! Gates are messy and mismanaged. Restaurants are below par. Restrooms are never clean. Walkways have been under construction for 3 years. Clear indication of poor management...

I've been to many airports around the world and CVG is one of the few ones that I like. Concourse corridors are big enough that it never feels overcrowded, and there is an ample amount of natural light in the space, which I really like.
I don't really like the new ride-share space though, it feels a bit isolated from the airport, which might be a good thing to avoid extra traffic, but it's not a good scene for the visitor.

Very helpful, a bit overcast, they are a bit short handed on wheel chair assistance, caused a person to miss their flight. Traveling in the eastern US, they are over all courtious and helpful.

It has a decent selection of food, unfortunately it's mainly gift stores though. Just like any airport everything's expensive, it's slightly difficult to navigate if you're not paying attention. The worst part was the walk from the gates to luggage retrieval, is seemed to go on forever.

Very family friendly airport. If you have a stroller, you can go straight to the front of the line for security check. Not many restaurant selections at our gate. Couldn't find anyone that sold iced coffee! The economy parking shuttles were great. We didnt ever have to wait to be picked up. The shuttle was ready each time when we walked up.

This is a great airport. The people here are very nice, and they have just the right number of flights, so there s plenty of space to walk around the terminals. When Delta stopped using this as a hub, they really lost out on something special.

With the recently major upgrade to CVG, they are pretty much up there with the many major neighboring airports. Very nice, travel experience. Great food options, comfortable seating around the boarding area.
