The cell lot is great, very conveniently placed with garbage and bathrooms
Was a little late but I made my flight was in an out an on my flight.
Baggage claim is awful. They put up to 7 airlines on claim 4 everytime and you wait 45 minutes to an hour to get your bags every single time. Most inefficient airport I ve been to.
Pretty small airport. It's organized and pretty clean.
It's a much more accommodating and comfortable airport these days.
Nice & clean but the old seats got to go they all have armrest i had to wait from 5am to 8am for a connecting fight needed a nap so i sleeped on floor. (should) have seats for tried people who can take nap if they need it
I am disgusted with this airport don't have enough employees waiting on ground crew to push plane in waiting 45 mins going to miss a connection flight a lot of unhappy people sitting in this airport
CVG is going back to life. However I can t understand why they make it hard on people, the parking process is truly ridiculous. Good luck finding a spot last time I found an old lady who backed up on my truck. The exit and the payment system is truly unbelievable people leave with speed then they have to press brake to the metal trying to stop so they can make payments. I think the parking system is owned by a privet company since the airport management failed many times in keeping operations, however that doesn t give them the right to be rude during check out.
The TSA management and individuals sometimes Ok and other days seem to be mad. Less than enetry level with no respect last time I saw them screaming. And the old gentleman told them he can t see.
Cool airport with good food and Some vintage cars collection !!
American airlines has some of the worst service around, missed all flights from cvg to fort lauderdale and refused to get me on other flight's to get back home
12 hours stuck in cvg then in charlotte overnight with no clothes
Go 2 hrs early like recommended. Its MUCH larger than you think at place in Ohio would be! But if you need help I sure all you would have to do is ask!
Had a layover here for a few hours. It was clean, plenty of charging stations, but not a lot going on. Staff was nice, could probably use a few more tv monitors in the concourses. We had about 3 or 4 gates worth of people huddled around one tv trying to get Irma updates. Not terrible, just not wonderful.
I told our daughter who is flying for the first time that the staff will be helpful especially if it is your first time flying. Not. Rude check-in around 9:30 a.m. Rude TSA Agent between 10:45 to 11:10. I am sorry our daughter had to experience that. Columbus and Dayton airports are more professional and courteous.
Water fountains in concourse A have no pressure and the water tastes SO BAD it's undrinkable. Possibly to encourage to spend money on overpriced airport drinks? It's 2018, they should have water bottle fillers installed near restrooms.
Worst customer service ever at an airport! We arrived 2 hours before our departure time and still missed our flight! We parked in long term parking, sat in our car for 40min before someone came to pick us up( it was storming outside) we asked why we were waiting so long? And we were told that it was due to people calling off work and that they were down 6 employees...if we would ve known it was going to take this long we would ve parked somewhere else... finally made it to the airport baggage check only to be directed to the wrong ticket counter, sat in that Line for another hour only to be told that our line is the one at the other end...at that point our flight was boarding... and we were not the only ones who missed it due to the same mistake!! The ticket agents were not helpful at all!! The only one that was helpful was Will from southwest who thankfully got us a flight out tomorrow from Indianapolis..so thank you Will soo much if u read this!! But it was just like o well sucks to be you attitude from the other employees... I would think that if other people were having the same problem that they would make an announcement as to which counter you should be at! cost us an extra 900.00 for the flight, 150.00 for a one way rental car because our returning flight is to cvg, 120.00 for hotel, and we lost a day of vacation!
Honestly THE WORST airport I been to in Life !! They are so unprofessional & The Supervisor Was Horrible she was rude & had Absolutely No Class
The people are nice enough. It's quiet for a Sunday. Given this backwards level of Southern society, it's impressive. Everything looks clean.
Food options are limited to mostly junk food. Food orders are never correct in the most obvious ways: PBJ on a bagel without the reconfirmed PB. No REAL "veggie cream cheese", just cheap dairy products.
Single security check line open on sunday afternoon. One hour to get through security check.
Just wanted to see the airport I was near there and I love just watching the airplanes take off and land
Excellent from the time I arrived to the time I cut on my plane.
Small regional airport, clearly arranged with relatively short distances, easy to reach and good connections to travel on from there. Unfortunately, no car rental directly in the terminal, but the shuttle bus was fast and reliable on arrival and departure.
You travel quite a bit to get from parking to security to your gate. Not good for last-minute dash to airport; arrive early! Once you're at your gate, the walkways are spacious with plenty of shops, comfortable seating and charging stations. Food options are spread out, but decent.
While the airport in general seems to be run pretty well and had not issues it is the baggage claim area that is messed up. 1st Signage to and in the baggage area is poorly designed, ill placed, hard to read and understand, and non helpful, 2nd the time frame to get your luggage is horrible--it took almost 45 minutes to receive luggage on a late evening flight. After multiple inquiries but multiple guest they found that their was a issue with the chute the luggage travels though. I understand breakdowns and issues arise but when it is not discovered until repeatedly inquiries by people waiting for their luggage. This shows their lack of care or interest in the customer. Multiple airport staff walked by or looked at the group of us waiting without doing anything.
So word to the wise DO NOT CHECK luggage that you will need to pick up at CVG airport and if you MUST then expect to add an additional hour to your pick up time.
If you are able to afford the upcharge for a window seat, I highly recommend it for a chance at the view!
Late arrival, no staff to open gate. Unprofessional. Sat on tarmac for one hour
Small airport. Easy to navigate and get in/out. You don't have to wait in long lines typically.
It was great travel and didn't take to long to wait
Small, quiet, easy to navigate, a little outdated and a little out of the way.
After learning my way around, it's been a solid airport for me and the travel I do for work.
They are doimg construction and its really difficult on where to go to pick people up. There is one sign for arrivals and that's it. They made 2 lanes to wait for your loved one but if you are in the lane closet to the building you can't get out until someone moves. Too much going on.
Good just most places closed right now due to covid.
Beyond my expectations. Never know what to think when going to a new city and sometimes the airport is below average. This airport was fresh, airy, big and very welcoming.
CVG is a great airport! Cheap flights, very clean, and was so simple getting around. The employees were so nice and I loved how they have Sam Adams Pubs in the terminals. I ll defin continue to fly in and out of CVG!
One of the worst airports I've had the misfortune of flying out of.
I love this airport. Tons of food options, and tons of different shops. An airport has to be big, to accodamate all the big planes! I love the trams to take you to the different wings and the moving walk ways, just people would walk on them and not just stand, it is not meant to be just stood one, clearly states that it is a moving WALK way. But I love this airport!
Smooth process into the Airport and onto my flight. Of course the fact it was a 7 am flight helped
Nothing better than sitting on the front porch of a log cabin over looking the Ohio River with a cup of coffee
A great medium sized airport with good food and services
I parked in the terminal garage. Super Easy access to my gate. I Even had time to stop to get a cocktail to take the edge off before my flight.
Concourse B has the Best Food outlets... For 'to go' ..so that you can have food on your flight while you're traveling. Chick-a-fila and McDonald's are recommended
This is a perfect size airport. Has plenty of competively price flight choices. Since it is growing so fast, parking is getting tight, but they are building now. Clean, well lighted terminals with a good number of both fast food and middle of the road restaurants (Outback, Max & Erma's, etc ). Easy airport to get some steps in before your flight.
Great airport, you do have to walk a long way to the departure spot from your airline, but the seats are comfortable, and there are plenty of places to eat while waiting inside.
Security line was surprising very quick moving and very helpful with kids. Lots of good options and easy access to places to charge up all the devices.
It's a small but cute airport, just like the city Cincinnati. I mean it takes me usually 5-10 minutes to check in and complete my security check which is the fastest ever in my record.
Cool airport with lots of museum exhibits around. Check it out if you're ever in the area
You are ok. Couldn't find carseat. Allegiant is horrible
The airport has amazing flight prices which is why I decided to purchase a flight for a third party to fly into and out of this airport. The only real issue I had was finding arrival and departure flights. Signs are very confusing and not very helpful.
Nice and clean little airport but too expensive to fly in and out there
I like this airport. It's clean, safe and not too crowded.
Good people, they are doing a good job during this pandemic
Was going to South Carolina for a vacation because they had things open and Governor dewine is very slow at opening things there's nothing to do in Ohio right now so anyway I would give CVG at 5 TSA was very quick the plane was on time there was social distancing the middle seat was empty they alternated rose on the plane so it was a great flight the flight attendants were very nice and professional the flight back was also on Allegiant from the Myrtle Beach Airport and they were also very nice but maybe I'm prejudiced I'd like the CVG flight attendants the best
Clean good airport, surprisingly easy to move trough.
Always loved this airport. So clean, friendly staff.
* Most expensive airport in the U.S.
* Few direct flights to anywhere.
* Terrible terminal layout.
* Many miles from the city it serves in another state
+ Plus all the other problems of most other airports (parking, etc.)
This is a better than average place to fly through. The airport is fairly small, and easy to navigate. However, this does limit the food choices that are available. It also means that the airport can get over-crowded at times. When that does occur, it can be a little annoying. That is my only issue with this airport. Otherwise, it is a great place to travel through.
This is a great airport, awesome mall inside. Allow extra time to navigate the gates even during covid in normal business hours there is a lot open.
It was good, but my bags never made it. Gotta wait until tomorrow .
