Very clean, very well organized, shops that are both essential & not. Seemed like it was easy to get around, with just a straight shot through to our Delta flight. Not really a whole lotta people around, if we had a question... but, such is a sign of the times! Well done CVG... well done.
I fly through CVG multiple times a year and it's always a pleasant experience. Airport staff and vendors are always friendly and willing to help.

Overall this is not a bad Airport. Very simple to navigate but unusual long distances to get to the gates. From the security checkpoint takes 12-15 minutes to B Gates. Some decent restaurants, terminal A has better food options. Terminal B has Crew Outfitters. I will leave the photos speak for themselves..The worst part is the TSA Checkpoint, but they are at least trying to be nice. Not all of them, could be better.

CVG is one of my favorite airports! It is always clean, easy to navigate, and the workers are helpful and friendly.

The lounge however is garbage. Too much pestering by the workers to clear plates. Coughing, no bathroom, food was like cardboard.
The USO was the best tho. Best one I ve ever been to to include LA, Dallas, Bangor, ATL.

Streamlined. Last time I was here was 10+ years ago and the facility has modernized since. Also, kudos to Logan at the headphone shop, he is knowledgeable and very patient.
Love this airport. I fly out and in to this whenever I fly. Easy to get around in it. Easy to give my checked bag to the attendant. Easy to get to my departure gate!!

Small airport with decent shopping and eating options. Hate the frequent flyer set up for security. This airport does need some help to get more organized about security check point traffic flow. Does not have too many people fly through here, still struggles.
They are currently tearing apart the roads around the terminals.
The exits are blocked with no directions or routes to get out, I honestly found the exit by mistake.
I'll definitely be looking another another airport while this goes on.

This review is specific to Ms. Tregon/Dough (spelling?) working at the Allegiant Airlines ticket counter because of her unsolicited rude, caustic attitude. Her photo is available upon request by CVG or Allegiant management.
I enjoy flying Allegiant because of the direct flights and cost savings. Therefore, I can accept additional baggage fees and the 40lb weight restriction vs. the standard 50lb limit.
Today, Monday, April 17 at 12:45pm, my wife arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to her 3pm flight from CVG to FLL, confirmation code CWKWG6. I had prepaid for her 1 checked bag, and an extra $16 for an exit row seat. We travel often and learned to study and review baggage policies each time we fly. We had checked in online several hours before the flight with boarding pass ready on the smart phone. I took steps to ensure the bags were packed correctly and well under 40lbs. Therefore, we had done all the necessary due dilligence to streamline the checkin process for ourselves and other passengers.
Unfortunately Ms. Tregon/Dough (spelling?) was working today and with a severe attitude. First she tried to accuse my wife of having an overweight bag only to discover it only weighed 33lbs. Secondly she attempted to charge her $5 boarding pass even after seeing the boarding pass was ready and loaded on her iPhone. Lastly, she tried to argue that the overhead bag was too big, despite that obviously it was regulation size (about 21-22") and would easily fit into the famous "luggage size determination" device mounted at the ticketing counter. It did, but after placing it into the size bin, Ms. Tregon insisted to use her foot to push the carry on bag further into the bin. As a result of her kickboxing skills two items were broken.
Clearly, customer service is absolutely not a good fit for this young woman.
CVG has less direct flights now, which is a distinct negative, but the tradeoff is having one of the most efficient TSA security checks and relatively good on-time performance. Parking is easy and there is never a big wait for anything.
We always use this airport for coming and going. Small and managable with decent rates and easily accessible.
Airport is good however services aren't. Do not check your bags and expect them to get off the plane in a reasonable amount of time. It has been more than an hour since I walked off the plane and still no baggage on the carousel. People from more than 6 flights waiting for their baggage on the same carousel on July 29.
Too much construction. Cell phone lot is much harder to use.
At the gate A boarding stop the vending machine does not work, I tried to but flaming hot Cheeto s and I pressed c,8 and it gave me something from c,6 could you fix this. Their was no one at the information desk to tell and no one who cold fix the problem near me at the time.
Didn't spend a lot of time here the airport is ok but getting transportation out of the Cincinnati area can be an issue and most food places at the airport are closed if your flying in a little later luckily we found laxride
This airport seems to be my favorite. Not too crowded, quiet and well-organized. The best place to make change of flights. There are many interesting entertainments for kids.
I find this to be a decently easy airport. On my visits over the last couple years, security has usually moved at a decent speed.
I definitely love the USO that s here. As well as the lounge right across from it. They had have a Graeter s and a vending machine full of locally made trinkets. So cute!
The only downside I noticed is that it can be hard to find an outlet if you need to charge your phone. I don t think they have them built into the seats at the gates like some other airports do.
I was only breezing through after my flight landed, but from what I saw and encountered, CVG is a pretty nice airport! It was clean, it felt modern, and there were a ton of dining and shopping choices all around. One thing I noticed is all of the charging stations and outlets. This is so awesome since everyone wants to have a full battery while traveling! Even the individual seats at the gates had outlets built into them so you can plug in while you wait. Awesome!
I think it's a nice little airport. They get you where you're going. My favorite part is the Wooly Mammoth skeleton that,a on display from Cincinnati Museum Center. I could marvel at it all day long.
On a side note, I got a hot chocolate from Breuggers bagels and it was so hot that could drink it until I got onto my flight.
Vicki and Mary that work on the Delta side at CVG are amazing! We was there on Oct 9th 2020 in the morning and their level of customer service was OUTSTANDING! These 2 women are great examples of how to take care of customers! You 2 are AMAZING!!
Rude staff, will not check you in early, does not educate their staff on tsa rules. Horrible representation of Frontier Airlines..will never fly them again.

Nice, modern airport that is never overly busy. Tram to and from gates should run more frequently, and gates are spread very far apart. You will likely get your steps in here.
One of the greatest airports I ve been to. A lot of walking even when using the indoor tram. Also very clean
When I flew in and out of the CVG last fall, I was impressed with the directional signs, the cleanliness, and the recycling (A+). I do wish there had been places to sit near the baggage claim, as I had a bad knee at the time. Please think of older people, injured people, and parents with kids. Having some seating while waiting for luggage is very important. Thanks for listening. Well done on the rest!

Absolutely horrible management. I spent 20 minutes circling the parking garage to find a spot. The long term parking has been closed since last March due to the pandemic so the garage has been servicing both short and long term parking.
No excuse keep the long term lot closed when you can without impacting CDC rules and regulations.
Not to mention the standard lack of restaurants, closed restrooms and centralizing them to 2 open in Terminal 3 (gates B) and same for Terminal 2 (gates A).
I like this airport. It's not crowdy and the best in Kentucky.
This airport is located about 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. There are 2 terminals, delta and everyone else. The airport has very nice wide walkways in there terminal to accommodate traffic. Airport is rarely busy compared to other hubs. A decent number of restaraunts are available. Electrical outlets are plentiful and Wi-Fi is free. Terminal is clean and does not look like a perpetual construction zone like other airports. The employees are friendly and helpful. There are brestfeeding pods scattered around the airport.

Passenger pick up is an absolute disaster. For some reason the airport is no longer having an employee out monitoring pick up like they used to. The no parking and waiting rule used to be enforced, people would use the cell phone and pull up to the pick up number when their family/friend came outside. That no longer happens. People just pull up to passenger pick up and park for however long is needed blocking space for everyone else. It is so bad that people are now parking in the driving lanes to load or even wait instead of being able to pull over by the curb where it is safe. The first few times I noticed this I thought maybe it was just between shifts or COVID for some weird reason but it is every single time now.
Not too bad getting thru the security check. Just have your food and beverage finished before hand. You can't take it any further than that.
If you check any size work bag (could be as small as a purse) they WILL put it in oversized luggage area
This is independent of size/weight and really annoying. No other airport does this

Longest wait for checked bags, ever. Uniformly and among all airlines, expect to wait at least 45 minutes for your baggage. If someone is picking you up, make sure they know it'll be a while after your flight lands before you'll actually be able to leave.
Clean, modern, and efficient. Plenty of in terminal amenities. The Delta Airlines terminal staff was plenty friendly, and the gate areas seemed to have enough charging stations for all.

I have always had wonderful experiences at CVG. They make traveling very relaxing and safe for all of their passengers. Also, it's probably the cleanest airport I have ever been in.
The rooms are amazing and most of the staff are polite and nice! I always book thru wyndhamrewards. Com to get their free room upgrade for diamond members! A suite for the price of a reg room cant beat it!
Really just don't like the overcharging of any airport, but I do like how easy cvg is to navigate.

Suffering from some growing pains. Once completed things should get back to normal. I am local to CVG so I'm most familiar with it. As far as getting there by car, there is no easier airport. My only complaint is upon arrival. The arrivals and departures are 2 different levels. When arriving (there is signage) it is easy to end up on the departure level and your ride home is below you. There are elevators in the parking garage that easily take you down, but that's after your confusion as to where you are.
I fly a few times a year and I ve always had good experiences here. I don t mind that it s a smaller airport because I m there to fly, not eat at restaurants or shop. It does its primary job (getting me from point A to point B) very well.
If there were no stars, that is what I would give this airport. I was about to miss my flight BECAUSE of another staff member that couldn t figure out the system, and was being rude as well. one of the security guards told me which line to go to for security. I waited 15 minutes and told me I couldn t go through. I told her that the lady up front let me through and that I was going to miss my flight. she replied haha does that look like my problem? get out of the line sweetheart. I started crying and people were angry and asking the lady why she would say such a thing, and she replied who are you? I will never be flying in this airport let alone delta again. worst staff and customer service experience i have ever had in an airport. no human being should be treated like this in ANY form of business or social setting. very dissapointing
I ve flown out of this airport three times and all three times I ve waited almost an hour to get my luggage because they had a mechanical error with their belts. Really? A mechanical error three separate times? I ll never fly out of this airport again.
