Good place. Lots of things to learn about cars and racing. Something in this place for everyone.
A decent museum, but over priced. Was $100 for my family of four and we only found an hours worth of entertainment. Also I picked up a cold from touching the steering wheel inside the simulator. 99% sure I caught the virus from in there and if they wiped down the stuff that people touch with sterilizing wipes it would prevent the spread of germs. Id say a bigger NASCAR fan may have enjoyed it more but Im just a moderate fan.
One the best time ever had u get to drive a car in vr and pretend to be a pit crew. The best part was all the history you learn about the sport. Alot of old cars on display
It was cool and staff were friendly, but the cost of admission wasn't worth what we got out of it. The best part was the simulated driving experience, but we were supposed to get an instruction course beforehand and that didn't happen.
Cool place to visit. The pricing system is a little weird. Basically you have to purchase additional packages to be able to use the interactive racing system. You still get to do the qualifying race if you get the basic package but miss out on the actual race. That being said there is alot to see. I would estimate 2-3 hours for most people. The kids loved the Hudson Hornet and Lighting McQueen. I liked this history of Nascar and looking at the old bootleggers cars. One thing which would be nice would be for them to mark up the car signs to indicate if the vehicle on display is a replica or original. Overall though a good Museum.
Had a blast, not a huge race fan but loved the experience
The holy land of Earnhardt, the shrine of draft, the temple of pit stops, the hall of laps and the colosseum of horsepower. NASCAR is in the DNA of America. Mountain dew, Dale, and freedom is what makes the world go round. Dale senior number 3 on the track but number 1 in our hearts.
Place was amazing and staff are very friendly, little bit costly.
Something very special what every NASCAR fan should come and see
it's pretty cool and it shares a building with buffalo wild wings which happens to be one of favorite establishments because of that wicked blazin sauce that they're serving, and I'm not gonna go overboard, but bruh, that is some seriously good sauce and if you don't like that sauce, I don't like you
Pretty amazing experience here. I wasn't sure just what to expect, but really enjoyed it. Static displays, interactive stations, lots of history. Great visiting this location.
Best place to learn about the history of racing. Spend an entire day and you still might not see it all.
They say "if you're not a NASCAR fan going in, you'll be one by the time you leave". Didn't work for me, but not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Try the pit crew challenge.
For motorsport fans
The multiplayer game in pseudo nascar crates is really well done
Visited Charlotte in July and visited the NASCAR hall of fame. Cars from the beginning of racing brought back memories of cars I wish I had bought. Well worth the trip even if you are not a NASCAR fan. We spent 5 hours at the museum with our son. We had a blast with the simulators and pit stop challenge. The movie was a good introduction, too. Not being a huge NASCAR fan, I thought I might be bored, but we stayed until closing time! It cost $35 per person, but it was worth it
Took my family here and they had a great time. Parking was easy and there was plenty of stuff for my little brother to check out. Personally I found the actual track inside the coolest.
If you know everything about stock cars, if you know nothing about stock cars, you will learn something here. A must visit for any racing fan. It will take 1.5 days to see everything. I would recommend to check out their website on upcoming events because they have revolving exhibits on display. I did the insiders tour and I got to see stuff not on display and got to tour some raceshops in the area.
I have been a big nascar fan and was looking forward to my visit to the hall of fame...let's start with the parking issue...what were they thinking-anyone with a camper or bigger vehicle-absolutely no parking...next-the prices-alot of money but big disappointment it seems like alot of wasted space...and whats with Tony Stewarts life story?? I guess I was expecting more...last the souviner shop was cheesy and very expensive..overall I would give it a 1 for originality.
Great place to visit and take in all of the NASCAR sites and exibits.
Great place to learn about history of stock car racing from prohibition to today. The museum made attempts to immerse museum goers but it seemed to fall flat. As part of the fee a smart card is received to log activity at various stations but this was not well explained and often times not necessary.
Museum store was forgettable and no merch
Seemed worth it.
My girlfriend and I are always looking for something different to do. While on a visit to Charlotte asked her if she be interested in doing this. Of course, and we booked the ride along and what an experience. What a rush it was going around the course at top speeds, not once but three times. I d do it again anytime! Maybe not in a summer month, toooo hot!
Nice experience . It will be more enjoyable for people who like Cars and Racing with good background knowledge on NASCAR legends.
Great! Great! Great! The must go place for families with sons. I would definitely come back if I had one. My husband was so happy to touch everything and participate in the interactions. I m a great Cars movie fan, so it was great to see Lightning McQueen in the real size.
Good place for learning the history of races and cars
Lots to see! Needed more than an hour but I had a plane to catch! Wish I had done the simulator every time I think about it!
We went as part of a UK sponsored event and found it to be somewhat overwhelming...in a good way. They have simulations, history, recorded races, and interactive learning. Not for small children but definitely worth checking out.
This place is loaded with history and pretty cool interactive stations. I had a blast!!!
Very cool place to visit. Watched a race which was cool to listen to the drivers, spotters and crew chiefs. It was hard to decide to listen to and I kept switching around, lol. The tickets were reasonable but everything else wasn't unfortunately but it was expected kinda like going to an amusement park. It was however very cool to see the museum. I will say trying to drive in the simulator was close to impossible for me. I just crashed a lot. And laughed and cursed. Hmmm.
So much fun driving the race car and intersting to see memorabilia
NASCAR Hall of Fame is a great place that pays homage to the best NASCAR drivers and people involved in NASCAR. You can't go wrong by making this a place to visit when in Charlotte. They have special events all year that you may want to plan on attending.
The overall experience was awesome. Very informative and very Interactive. The only complaint that I have is the gift shop needs to have more shirts in dark colors that say Hall of Fame on them in the size large and extra-large.
We spent 8 hours at NASCAR HALL OF FAME. THEY HAVE GOOD FOOD ALSO ..LOVE SEE ALL DRIVER INFORMATION..
We had need been to the museum, my husband knows so much more. The staff was very helpful, the crowd respectful and courteous. We will be back, again .
I loved this place! Great cars, there's a ticket for 30 dollars with lunch included. The simulator was fun and there are some activities you can try yourself like driving and changing the tires.
We were traveling to Virginia and stopped a long the way to visit the hall of fame. We are not diehard NASCAR fans but really enjoyed the place.
They have a whole lane of cars tracing the history of oval track racing as well as detailed descriptions of cars and racing teams.
Worth the time to visit.
Tons of racing history here. This is a must see while you are in Charlotte. Great for the whole family.
Dad seemed to enjoy it. I m not much in to NASCAR but I found it enjoyable. Dad is am acid fan and has been since
The 70 s.
What can I say it's an amazing Museum the Hall of Fame with lots of history and artifacts a must-see for NASCAR enthusiast
Excellent place to visit !! Very interactive and fun! Guaranteed fun!
Really enjoyed our visit to the Nascar HOF. Very interactive exhibits, lots of fun. My kids loved it too! We are not die-hard fans, but still enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend.
Great place to host an event in Charlotte! Very unique experience for a conference. Parking is very easy, which is a huge plus Uptown these days.
A little pricey for what it is... Needs more interactive exhibits for smaller kids than just the one area.
Not really a NASCAR fan , but the place was fun. The best part was the simulator and the other one where you can go against one another as a pit crew. Staff were courteous and helpful. Totally recommend for car buffs.
Its a cool place to visit even if your not that into the sport
It was so much fun! My 4 year old had a blast! There are lots of cool things you can do like the simulator there are 13 cars and you get to race everyone in the other cars. Then they have the pit stop challenge that will test your time to jack a car up take a tire off and put it back on and fill it with gas. Along with lots of other fun things!! The pit stop cafe is very good too. I recommend the BBQ sandwich!
Loved it, especially the interactive exhibits! Can't wait to go back again!
I do not enjoy car racing or really anything related but this museum had very interactive and interesting exhibits. I'm not sure it balanced the admission fee, but I had a wonderful time.
Neat experience. Not somewhere to visit a lot. Food and drinks are absolutely ridiculously priced. Eat before you go in!
Honestly made my trip to Charlotte. Excellent variety of NASCAR cars, staff is super friendly and helpful, full of history! The simulation is also really fun, would definitely recommend.
Not a huge NASCAR fan, had a great time, enjoyed the place, and learned some neat stuff.
Gotta get unlimited simulator rides ticket because that was amazing. I can't wait to go back and spend all day racing.
Awesome place for the biggest fan to someone who knows nothing about NASCAR. Plenty to keep you busy for a few hours up to an all day event.
Very cool spot to stop if passing through the area. Great for kids! Also a cool experience into the world of NASCAR for anyone who knows nothing about it. They have a great tour system and a 12 min video in the begining of NASCAR history.
Was a really cool and interesting place! Only thing wrong was many of the interactive games/ challenges didn't work. But the history was awesome
Great experience. Loved everything about the Hall of Fame.
This is an awesome place to visit. Great to either remember the past or learn about nascar through displays and interactive exhibits and experiences. You can participate as a shop crew through checker flag and flag man. Has pit crew challenge and qualifying lap simulators. Would highly recommend for the young or the old, the super fans or someone that is not a fan.
Expensive, but a really good experience, my 15 year old son and his friend who is almost 17 had an awesome time!
Tons of fun! Even if you aren't big into to Nascar its still a cool place to visit and walk around
We had a wonderful experience at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Went during a class trip and there were 55 of us. The NASCAR HoF was very accommodating to our group. We learned quite a bit about the different events and such that is available in their space. We also had a very cool experience doing the car simulation as well as the pit stop station. Most of us knew nothing at all about NASCAR before and now would love to learn even more.
My wife and I really enjoyed it with all the cars they have their there is a lot of history it explains everything about NASCAR from the beginning up till now it's a great place to bring kids very interactive many of the
Want to thank Toyota for giving us active and veterans this experience with the simulator had a wonderful time definitely will be going back.
Staff was super helpful and welcoming the the 14 Scouts we brought in.
Cool spot for Nascar fans. I was a big fan in the mid and late 90's. Lots of history and stuff to read about. The coolest thing was the cars throughout the years on the different banks of the various tracks. There are a lot things to do for little kids, video game racing, hands on things for testing, pit crew challenges and paint your own virtual race car. I went when a school and a business of some sort was there, so it was kind of crowded. The price to get in I think was a little high for what it is. But if you're a fan of the sport it is a must go.
Was there for a company meeting with breakfast. The staff are amazing! The food was delicious! It's the highlight of our year :)
My daughter went on a field trip here and really enjoyed it. Staff is friendly and very informative on the exhibits. She really loved the Charlotte area also.
A fantastic experience for all ages. The cleanliness and friendliness of staff made this an highly enjoyable experience. Everything relating to NASCAR is explained and shown from the history to how a NASCAR team works. You can also try out the NASCAR simulators which is an awesome experience. It is easy to spend 3-4 hours here.
