Very interesting and cool exhibitions; my personal favorite parts of the museum are the Hall of Fame inductee exhibits and the driver search center (that's where I found out that my late grandfather was a former NASCAR driver, even though the 1952 Southern 500 at Darlington was the only time he'd ever competed in NASCAR).

Really neat. The simulator is a little lame with other drivers. Definately do the "qualifier" first, in the back, so you can race on a track by yourself to get a good time and learn the controls. Then go for the full simulator with other drivers who will spin out and wreck u.

We have been wanting to visit the museum for a long time. We aren t huge NASCAR fans, and we re a bit worried we appreciate the museum as much as we did. We enjoyed the whole museum really great way to learn more about the sport. We really loved all the simulators. Our kids 5/7 were able to play with the simulators as well, certainly worth adding the simulators to your visit.

We had some time between flights, so we decided to check this place out. Neither my daughter not I are fans, but we both enjoyed the hall of fame. The interactive exhibits and the racing simulator were our favorites. We will probably visit again when we have more time to explore.

Amazing venue for an event and terrific staff! We had our event at this venue and not only was the staff extremely helpful, but the venue itself was a perfect size for our event!

Prior to the event, we worked with Nathaniel (Nat) on the production/IT side of things to ensure our event had the appropriate signage. Not only did Nat help us with determining the layout for our event, but he event went above and beyond to help us with our logos/images to ensure we were well represented on every monitor (see images for examples of how amazing this turned out).

We also didn't realize how many options we would have for signage and event details - making our event much more official and professional plus allowing us to easily communicate the various aspects of our event (registration, open bar area, speaker panel, etc.). Our partners/sponsors also loved the fact their logos were shown on multiple screens and looked extremely professional.

The auditorium was a perfect venue for the size of audience we had and to allow intimacy while still accommodating a rather large audience. The staff during the event were also amazing, especially Kathy. She also went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed prior to the event, during the event and even after the event (even though our event went a bit longer than planned).

We also had a full sit down dinner after the panel discussion and the food was terrific. When catering to an audience of this size, the food is often poor to average quality, but the Nascar Hall Of Fame did a great job putting together a number of options that were perfect for all of our audience members, including the vegans/vegetarians. Next year, we will probably consider allowing our guests to choose between more of the available options, but the food was high quality with moist, well-seasoned chicken, quality fresh vegetables, and both a chocolate cake and cheese cake worth the calories!

Overall, we were very pleased with the event and we will definitely be back again.

Not a fan if NASCAR at all, but visiting Charlotte for work and decided I'd go since it was across the street from my hotel. The museum is immaculate. So clean, interactive and very well laid out. The staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. Do the simulator it was so much fun. Definitely a lot of history and it is well displayed. Would definitely come back.

It is an interesting place to visit while in Charlotte, this city in particular doesn't have many attractions as it looks like . I believe is also much better to visit it while is summer , anyway I had a great time visiting its downtown. Enjoy and safe travels

A #1! If you are a fan of NASCAR, this is a must see. There are displays from the early years of racing that will blow you away, super cool. Parking was good too. Pricing is as expected for a museum, a little high but no more that other places of similar items.

Disclaimer: I am not a Nascar fan, but went with family. It was a bit pricey but the $30 package was decent. Staff was very friendly and enjoyable to interact with. Video presentation in the High Octane Theater was outstanding, very well done! The overall experience and layout of the place was very well done, especially Glory Road. Food at the Pit Stop Cafe was average at best. Overall well worth spending a few hours there with the family. My ONLY complaint...is the Nascar Simulator. The cars you climb into are very cool...but the screen and graphics left me very disappointed. Very old school graphics on a simple monitor. As a simulator, it should immerse you more with video wrapping around you in all the windows. I would recommend running it once. If they spend money there on anything, it should be to seriously upgrade the video experience in the simulator.

Basically a cathedral to the National Association of Stock Car Racing that no motorsports, or sports fan, should pass up. From it's backwoods history to present day is all covered using unique architecture, plus tons of static and interactive displays. Parking on site and plenty of places around to grab a bite.

My family and I visited last weekend. My husband and son enjoyed it, more than my daughter and I, as to be expected, but it is a nice museum that is well kept. Friendly staff snd good location. Only reason for 3 stars is I believe admission could be cheaper.

Went here with the family and learned so much about the history of nascar, as well as about how much skill and effort goes in to creating and driving winning cars. There's lots of interactive stuff for the kids--both digital and physical. The driving simulator is fun, but you have to be 56 inches to do it. There are so many life size cars here, the kids loved it.

The only thing that was a little meh was the representation of newer, younger drivers. The museum doesn't showcase much beyond the historical greats like Earnhardt, Earnhardt Jr, Jimmie Johnson, some Harvick. It makes sense to focus on the greats, but what about a more modern section on the up and coming?

Even still, the whole family had a lot of fun. It's expensive but definitely worth the money.

The combo was not worth it. The hot dog was average and the soda was not fountain drink, it was small 12oz $2.00 each. Other than that it was an amazing place...if you like fast cars you will love this museum.

Best NASCAR experience ever! Can't describe how much hands-on interaction there is! You will absolutely have a blast, especially if you're a real gear-head! Great educational site for all ages! From the evolution of racetracks to becoming a member of a pit crew! Even if racing isn't your thing, you got to go to the NASCAR Hall of Fame! It's a little pricey, but it's definitely worth the money! Parking is a little expensive is the only warning I have. My advice if you don't want to pay a high parking fee is to park at another location away from the exhibit if you're willing to walk. Overall, great experience and hope to come back another time!

Very fun and interesting. Lots of things to see and do and tons of history and facts. The worse part was the NASCAR simulator. There was a very long line we waited like 25 mins just to get into the car. Then once in it only lasted like 8 mins and didnt get to drive very far because of inexperienced drivers kept hitting me.

About NASCAR Hall of Fame

NASCAR Hall of Fame: A Shrine to the History and Heritage of NASCAR

If you are a fan of NASCAR, then you must visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame. It is a shrine to the history and heritage of NASCAR under one roof with ever-evolving exhibits for you to explore. The museum is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is considered as the heartland of stock car racing.

The museum was opened in 2010 and has since become a popular destination for fans from all over the world. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece that features interactive exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia that tell the story of NASCAR's past, present, and future.

One thing that sets this museum apart from others is its focus on education. The exhibits are designed not only to entertain but also to educate visitors about the sport's history and how it has evolved over time. You can learn about legendary drivers like Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson among others who have made significant contributions to this sport.

The museum also features state-of-the-art simulators where visitors can experience what it feels like to be behind the wheel of a race car. You can test your driving skills on virtual tracks or even compete against other visitors.

Apart from these interactive exhibits, there are also several galleries dedicated to showcasing different aspects of NASCAR's history such as its evolution from moonshine runners during prohibition era into one America’s most popular sports today; how technology has changed racing; how safety measures have improved over time; among others.

Another highlight at this museum is its collection of historic cars that have been driven by some famous drivers throughout their careers. These cars include Richard Petty's 1970 Plymouth Superbird which he drove during his record-breaking season when he won 18 races out 32 starts; Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s iconic black No.3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS which he drove during his seven championship-winning seasons; Jeff Gordon’s No.24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS which he drove during his four championship-winning seasons among many others.

In addition to these permanent exhibits at the hall fame there are always new temporary exhibitions being added throughout year so every visit will be unique experience for visitors who come back again after few months or years later they will find something new waiting them inside hall fame walls .

Overall if you're looking for an immersive experience into world famous motorsport then look no further than visiting NASACR Hall Of Fame where you'll find everything related with Nascar under one roof!
