A great place, these places are so well done here in the U.S. the respect shown to the inductees was fantastic and the acknowledgment of the history was great. I would go back to visit again.

It was an overpriced tourist trap, the simulator had really long lines and I'm glad I didn't pay extra for unlimited simulator rides because you'll waste alot of time in line. I wish they would've had more cars and exhibits. Also paying extra for the talking tour is ridiculous, that should have already been included. The video at the beginning was way outdated, come NASCAR get with the program. Staff was nice and friendly.

Hard to find the entrace because there was an amusement was set up in front of it. Go in through the Wings Resturant, haha.

Pay parking.

Displays hard to photograph with all the crap they have posted. They want a lot of personal info on a silly credit card-type thing they want to to waste time fiddling with. A lot of expensive interactive junk all around makes this more of an amusement park than HOF or muesum.

Dont forget to spend an evening in the greatly overpriced gift shop.

NARCAR Hall of Fame is a must see place if visiting Charlotte. Each artifact is well placed with proper history. Each section is worth your time and money. The best part of the experience is the Pit Stop challenge and the Race simulation. It's a definite fun with entire family or friends.

Awesome place for fans of NASCAR or for fans interested in any type of car racing. It has rich collection of vintage race cars, so it cloud also interest vintage car enthusiasts. If you skip or spend minimal time on reading the go-along information and activities, you can finish the tour in ~1.5 hours. On the ground floor Hall, the lighting conditions are not great, so you may have to plan accordingly if you want take some good pictures.

Disappointing visit. We tried to use a card to pay but were told the readers weren t working. We paid cash after going to an ATM. The next day, we discovered that our card had been charged. Customer service refused to refund the extra charge saying they had no record of the charge despite being provided with clear proof of the charge from our bank. Our bank will not remove the charge as we were not given a receipt for the cash we paid. Total charge for two including parking- $156. Do not use a credit card when visiting the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Well done. Besides the whole history of Nascar and its icons you can also see many technical details. Construction of the race car. The different properties of Speedways in America. As well as race driving simulator and pit stop live / game exercises.

This place is really overpriced and the staff are all retired and un-knowledgable. They have the same sights every year and it is not worth the money. It takes about 20 minutes to go through the whole museum and the simulators are a big rip off. DONT GO

The was a good time for our family, lots of Nascar history and plenty of cars to look at and photograph. The simulator was fun and I recommend running through a few times. Plan on spending about 2.5 hours.

Great place, a must see for any NASCAR fan. Only giving it four stars because I ve been going for 6 years and 95% of it is exactly the same. So overall, a fun place and one of my favorite vacation spots, but a few hours there one time and that s plenty really.

I went with my twin 4 year old boys and it was kind of a bust. They just weren't old enough to get much out of it. The bulk of the exhibits include lots and lots of reading, far too much for any child who is not a completely prolific reader. They just wanted to *do* something and honestly, there wasn't anything for them to do. The kids zone area had potential but all of the car related items were broken so they had fun at the interactive light table. Other than that, they had the most fun on the 2nd floor playing with the toy cars in the Cars exhibit area. So, for $40 for the 3 of us, it was not worth it and if you're going with your young children be aware that they may not be too into it either. Now, if you're an adult (not here with young kids!) and you have a general appreciation of NASCAR, you'll have plenty to learn/see/experience. And if you love NASCAR? This is the place to go!

Budget at least 2 to 3 hours to get the most out of a visit. The top floor especially had a lot of memorabilia displayed and you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to read about the items. We visited on a weekday during the off season and it wasn't at all crowded. Parking was easy and getting in and out of the city was pretty good, even though we were leaving at the start of rush hour.

Typical museum that tries to milk you for all your money. They don't even validate parking. There was some cool technology inside like a simulator, but of course the cost of a ticket doesn't cover using anything inside so you are going to spend a lot here. Not worth it. Especially not for families.

A good amount of collection items and a good overview of NASCAR history. However, for $25 admission fee, I believe it s overpriced as it is smaller than I thought and would personally not suggest going there. It says there are 4 stories to visit, but actually it is more like 2 to 3 full stories with actual things to see (one being the movie theater room, and the other the ramp entrance to the actual museum).

While the website may say it s a technological interactive museum, there aren t that many interactive activities to play, which might also be caused by the current renovation work. The most disappointing point is that the simulator, the most exciting part, requires an additional $5 for a 5 minutes game!

PS: never park at the museum parking lot, for a little over 2 hours, they charged us $12. Just over those 2 hours, we spent over $60 that were mostly a disappointment. If you re thinking about going somewhere fun for a fair price, I would discourage going there! But if you want to support NASCAR, this might be the right method to help!

Wow. This stop proved to be so much more than we expected! Definitely fun even for non-Nascar fans. Great activities for kids (we met the education program director while there are were blown away) ... build your own car, make your own trophy, decorate your own flag ... lots of fun stuff. Really impressive. Excellent customer service from everyone we encountered. Spotless restrooms and great food in the cafe (at a reasonable price). I would definitely add this stop to your trip.

If you are a fan of NASCAR, then you must visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame. It is a shrine to the history and heritage of NASCAR under one roof with ever-evolving exhibits for you to explore. The museum is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is considered as the heartland of stock car racing.

The museum was opened in 2010 and has since become a popular destination for fans from all over the world. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece that features interactive exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia that tell the story of NASCAR's past, present, and future.

One thing that sets this museum apart from others is its focus on education. The exhibits are designed not only to entertain but also to educate visitors about the sport's history and how it has evolved over time. You can learn about legendary drivers like Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson among others who have made significant contributions to this sport.

The museum also features state-of-the-art simulators where visitors can experience what it feels like to be behind the wheel of a race car. You can test your driving skills on virtual tracks or even compete against other visitors.

Apart from these interactive exhibits, there are also several galleries dedicated to showcasing different aspects of NASCAR's history such as its evolution from moonshine runners during prohibition era into one America’s most popular sports today; how technology has changed racing; how safety measures have improved over time; among others.

Another highlight at this museum is its collection of historic cars that have been driven by some famous drivers throughout their careers. These cars include Richard Petty's 1970 Plymouth Superbird which he drove during his record-breaking season when he won 18 races out 32 starts; Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s iconic black No.3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS which he drove during his seven championship-winning seasons; Jeff Gordon’s No.24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS which he drove during his four championship-winning seasons among many others.

In addition to these permanent exhibits at the hall fame there are always new temporary exhibitions being added throughout year so every visit will be unique experience for visitors who come back again after few months or years later they will find something new waiting them inside hall fame walls .
