We had a beautiful lunch for my mothers birthday. Cannot rate the experience enough! The views were amazing, staff insanely helpful and knowledgable and the view spot on. Such a wonderful experience will be back again!

Magnificent setting fir restuarant and winery. Very individual menu by creative chef. Enjoyable wine tasting with discounts for quantity. Highly recommended.
The first time in the restaurant a few months ago was great and I would have rated it 5/5. Went there today for a picnic. Totally disorganized. The guy that met us after a few minutes of standing around needs to change careers. He is not fit to work with the public. Booking time was changed on the spot with no explanation. We were told to order food at the cellar. After waiting there for around 10 minutes, we noticed there was a line on the opposite side. A friendly couple let us go in front of them as they could see we were there first. Next we were asked for our"ticket"which the first guy forgot to mention or give us and asked to go back to the restaurant where we started. After I showed my reluctance, we started ordering food and wine for the picnic. It was like being in Woolworths. No one attempted to up-sell or make any suggestions. This place has the potential to be the best Brisbane has to offer but today was seriously lacking staff with passion and energy. I have rated them 3 starts because of the uncertainty COVID caused. If not for COVID it would be 1 star.
Highly recomend. We were regulars for special occassions or lazy breakies with friends and always impressed for the 7 years we lived around the corner. We left the mountain several years ago and came back to stay the night onsite for our 10 year wedding anniversary and are glad to report the service is still top knotch (you love your work Jeremy which shows) and we (wife and I+ our 8 yr old son) all loved our courses and service, you and your team has only lifted the bar to loftier heights on previous awesome experiences. Keep up the good service.
The 3 of us had the fish of the day, Red Emperor from 1770 and it was delish, all 3 of us enjoyed it immensely. Service and atmosphere was 10 out of 10 also.
Been there by invetation of my dear friends Richard and Irene. Such a nice restaurant. Great chef, top food and a very good staff. Awesome location. Enjoyed some of their own locally brewed beers and great wines. Nice location and very relaxed atmosphere
We were gifted the wine and bine tour and lunch and were not disappointed.
The winery is set in a beautiful setting, the tour was just long enough and the guide knowledgeable.
The standout though was the stunning tasting plate which was enormous and pure heaven on a plate. Each taste on the plate was paired with an enjoyable wine.
We stayed here for my daughter's wedding for two nights. The reception rooms were just Beautiful and the staff were incredible. This place is just amazing. Thankyou to the staff and management for everything you did to make the weekend go so well
Attended a wedding at Ocean View Estates and every last detail was perfect! The staff were professional and incredibly helpful, and the food was delicious.
This place was absolutely perfect for the Bride ,Bridesmaids, friends & Parents to chill & prepare for the most amazing Wedding of the year. Such a special day where Dreams become True.
We stayed the night in the single room cabin. It was extremely comfortable, exceptional clean and very pleasant. Nicely located to be quiet and peaceful. Dinner and breakfast were great. The food was excellent but the staff even better. So pleasent, friendly, helpful and just wonderful people. Thanks for a great night away and rest. Shawn
We had our sons wedding and reception here. Venue, staff, food all were awesome. Highly recommend O.V.E. to anyone looking for a great venue for a function.
A spectacular place to while away the afternoon! The setting is beautiful, near Dayboro in rural Queensland. Entering via a tasting area visitors are able to sample a variety of wines before making an informed purchase. The Dining Area also offers great views and the meals are superb. There are also a few cottages for people wanting to stay the night! Not a cheap place to dine, but good value for money all the same.
I went here as part of a horse riding activity, through Slickers. We rode as a group of about 30 people for 2.5 hrs, to get to the winery, and then rode back. If you do this you can't choose meals off the normal menu. I had to get a set menu, with the choice of normal, vegetarian or gluten free. It cost $26/person. I got the normal.
Also included in the horse riding package was a cheese plate and wine tasting. We were seated 10 to a table and there were 2 different cheese platters on the table. The cheeses were good and were amazing with the fruit pastes and honey (which came with the natural honeycomb). There was brie, blue cheese and hard cheddar. The biscuits were water crackers on one plate and rice crackers on the other. I wish we got our own servings instead of sharing with strangers. It's understandable for a cheese platter I know, but it happened with other food too. There were 4 wine tastings, we got a couple of sips each. One of the waiters served the wine very unevenly. One person would get one sip worth and another would get 1/4 of a glass!
Next we got chips served with aioli and salad of lettuce with toasted breadcrumbs. We got 2 bowls of each per table. They tasted good. Next we got a duck pancake each. Then a slow cooked beef brisket slider burger. Lastly, came a pork belly slider with cooked fennel. I was full at this point! I had to wrap my pork slider in a serviette and ate it when I got home. They were all delicious.
The people who ordered vegetarian or gluten free got their meal on one big plate instead of spread out.
I would go to this restaurant again because I would like to try their normal menu. It sounds amazing! I especially want to try the entree of scallop and crab with apple caramel.
Went there today to celebrate my birthday. Great food, views and outlook. Great service ,and staff were amazing. Very relaxing , would highly recommend to take the drive out there ,you will definitely not be dissapointed.
Very disappointed with our Sunday lunch at Ocean View Estate. After having a very positive experience last year with a group of 35 for my Sister's 50th lunch celebration I had coaxed another family in to taking the 90 minute drive for lunch last Sunday. I booked 4 weeks earlier online. When we arrived although there were plenty of spare tables on the verandah and in the front of the restaurant, we were seated around the corner and at the very back. After speaking so highly of the beautiful view from the verandah it was extremely disappointing to be sat where we were. Eight of us were squashed along the sides of three small tables, straddling legs of tables etc. From what we could see other guests were afforded much more space. We ordered a three course meal for the adults and four kids meals for the four 12 year olds. It took an hour for the starters to arrive, and a further hour for the mains to arrive meaning the kids did not receive their meals (fish and chips) for 2 hours. By then it was 3 pm and the sun was shining through the windows fully on our table - It was a hot afternoon and this was not very pleasant. There was no offer to bring more bread or anything else to help us wait. This was something we had looked forward to for many months and although when the food did arrive it was beautiful, this was not the experience that we had hoped for. The table bill was $550 and adding the cost of 90 minutes travel for two cars both ways made the experience something I would not recommend.
I love Ocean View Estate Winey! I first found them when doing a fun run, but now we are there all the time for lunches, dinners, jazz nights and soon our wedding! Lovely, down-to-earth staff, AMAZING food, fantastic wines and craft beers and a view and atmosphere you HAVE to go experience!
Great food, terribly trained staff. The staff are slow, poorly trained, and the manager needs to get out on the floor and really instil a sense of care. Several tables around us waited an hour, we waited an hour and they forgot our sides. We had a nice young man who knew the menu VERY WELL, but couldn't organise a piss up in a vineyard. You need to check on orders, and if they are taking to long communicate to your customers about the wait. Why did I have to ask 2 different staff members about olives? Why did I have to follow up "our meals that are getting plated up now" 15 mins after? Why didn't you check the bill for the 3 double-ups and added side? Why didn't you check to see why we didn't get our sides? 3 staff, 3 opinions, it should have just been 1 waiter. May I make an upselling suggestion, you're giving away free tastings around the corner, why can't you give out wine to angry disappointed customers?
View was nice, but sitting where we would like to (including social distancing) would be nicer. We were denied even though no body was sitting in over 150 acres. Pizza was expensive, wasted my mum s money, could ve gotten better at Aldi.
The only thing good I can say about my experience is the food was beautiful. Service - absolutely below par. To bring the beer out for one person then wait 10 more minutes for the other persons drink That was just the start. Let s just say that you would get better service being served by your 6 year old child. I m writing this whilst still waiting for someone to still come and get our dessert order and we have timed it and it s now been 24 minutes!
Nice breezes on the deck on a hot day, staff were attentive and asked what we thought after each course but unfortunately the degustation was a mixed bag and a bit blah. We had the 6 course degustation ($120 without matched wines) and left quite hungry. First course was a small stick of salmon about 1cm by 3cm with some curls of cucumber on 'wasabi avocado' garnished with rice crispies. The salmon was nice enough but the wasabi was not really detectable in the avocado puree...no zing as described on the menu. 2 bites. Second course was one lonely gyoza with a couple of slivers of swiss brown mushroom, a couple of radish slices and a dot of aoli. 2-3 bites. The gyoza filling was coarse with detectable prawns so was quite tasty. 3rd course was quail on the bone, a breast piece and a leg, it was nicely seasoned and again had a few enoki and a grape as a garnish, again only 3-4 bites. 4th course was 2 slices of duck breast with 1 blackberry, half a macadamia, a slice of fried leek on a smear of cranberry sauce...about 3 bites. The 5th course was 2 small pieces of tri-tip which was tough and a couple of enoki and a couple of herb leaves..maybe 4 bites. Normally a degustation would be a bit more generous with the 'main course' dishes but in total for the 5 courses it was about 15 mouthfuls of food and did not seem good value for the price. The last course of dessert was good and probably about half the size of if you ordered it on its own. The cinnamon icecream was the highlight. We previously had lunch here and just had a main course each and dessert to share and didn't leave hungry like this time. The degustation was neither as generous or interesting as the menu would lead you to believe, though the presentation was pretty.
Food was great. We ordered off the a la carte menu. Timing between meals were a little longer then expected. Service could be improved; waiters need to be more attentive to drink orders and removing dirty dishes from the table.
Beautiful food, excellent service and a great view to top it off! Would definitely recommend a day out here. Sunday session was an unexpected treat - glad we stuck around to listen to the music on the lawn for the afternoon.
My husband and I recently got married at Ocean View and cannot recommend it enough! Not only the stunning location and venue itself, but the food, the staff and the onsite cabins were all amazing.
We attended as a group booking and the staff were attentive and friendly to our needs. We attended for a Sunday brunch and the food was great. Overall an experience which could not be faulted
Awesome little place in the middle of farmland. Decent wine and amazing views. Food was also amazing (we were there for a wedding so set menu) and locally sourced
I went to the Providore on Sunday with my family. The view is beautiful and it was a really nice atmosphere. We ordered a flight of wines and received really great service from Rachel. Her recommendation of the favorites wine was spot on. We ordered chicken wings, mushroom on toast, five spice cauliflower, prawn toast and togarashi fries. Everything was super tasty and really well presented. I highly recommend the prawn toast.
