An experience dealing with Michael Wendroff is different than dealing with any car salesperson I have ever previously delt with . First he listens to what I want not tell me what I want. He is very ethical and knowledgeable. Sounds like this should be every salesperson but unfortunately in all my years he is the first. If you want to buy or lease a car Michael is who I would go to. Also he is not high pressure unusual in itself.

They don t even deserve one star!

This Dealership is dishonest, misleading, and will scam you in a second. I sent an inquiry on a Preowned vehicle they had listed on website, William Barr responded to my inquiry and sent me pics of of the vehicle because I am out of state and wasn t able to make the trip to the dealership.

I specifically asked Mr. Barr if there were an obvious flaws or problems with the car and he responded no. I made an offer on the vehicle and they accepted it, but they charge a ridiculously high doc fee of $599 and they say Etch is mandatory on every car (Illegal).

I told him I m in the business and Etch wasn t mandatory and it was against the law to say it was, he responded with their insurance company makes them etch every car because they don t have a gated lot. Etch is for the consumer and doesn t pay any benefits to dealerships if the car was stolen from their lot. They overcharged me by more then double for plates and registration. I get them to agree to refund any over charge for my registration and title work and proceed with the deal.

I ask Mr. Barr again if anything major was wrong cosmetic or mechanical and he responds no and sends me the inspection report. I have the money wired to them and arrange shipping.

The car arrives to me and the windshield wipers won t turn off and the glove box is sitting on the floor broken off. I send Mr. Barr a text and ask him why he didn t tell me about these two major and obvious issues, he responded with My GM Steve Hodossy decides what cars are retailed and which are wholesaled and what to fix and not fix on each vehicle and sends me Steve s phone number.

I call Mr. Hodossy and ask him why he would mislead his customers and sell a car that was unsafe to drive, (if I was local he wouldn t have sold it this way) he responded with you bought As Is and basically hung up on me.

The next day I sent Mr. Hodossy an email with screen shots of Mr Barr s text messages saying there was nothing obvious wrong with the car (Wipers not turning off and Glove Box Sitting on the floor are pretty obvious and hard to miss). I asked him to make it right and get me a glove box could even be a used one and to cover the repair bill for the wipers or to pay for return shipping and refund all of my money plus what I paid to have it shipped to me and for the window tint I had done at the dealership that I paid for outside of the deal. I told him if he didn t make it right I would post negative reviews and file a case with the American Arbitration Association and the BBB.

He responded go ahead I will not be held hostage by negative social media threats and to bring the car back if I wanted to and he will it pay for any shipping, tint, or refund doc fee.

He sent me pics of the car showing the wipers off . I pointed out the pictures do not show the wipers in the down and off position and asked why there are streaks from the wipers on a freshly detailed car if the wipers worked before he shipped the car. When I zoom in on the pictures he sent me you can see the glove box sitting on the floor as well. I took screen shots of these zoomed pics and pointed it out to him. Still no response and it s been almost a week.

I understand what AS IS means and I understand there may be issues with a used car but a Dealership should never be unethical and lie about obvious problems and issues.

When the Salesman basically admits to knowing about and lying about problems to an out of state buyer because his boss told him to not only is it unethical it is horrible management and a terrably ran Dealership.

From a reception to driving out of Morristown dealership' service station has been confidently satisfying throughout. Today i stopped by, and walked around for about 30 minutes and not one sales rep came up to me. Noticed multiple salesman just starring but never introduced themselves. Kind of disappointing when you're a serious buyer.

Have leased FOUR cars from them. The sales experience is just mediocre but I have had satisfactory experience with the service here UP UNTIL NOW!

I took in my 5 Series because of the air-conditioning. They informed me they needed to order a part that was on back-order IN GERMANY. Couldn't guarantee a date it would be in, and asked me if I wanted the car back or just leave it there. It was May and getting hot. So my choice ACCORDING TO THEM was either (1) give up one car in the household for at least 3 weeks; or (2) ride around in a burning hot car???????

When I call them back to ask for a loaner, they say no, and they inform me that I can rent a car through them (Enterprise) and the car I get will depend on what is available when I come in. Either a Nissan or a Toyota. In exchange for a 5 Series?

My advice is go elsewhere if you need a car. I know I will!!

I have to give a 5 star review for Michele Clarke from BMW of Morristown. She was absolutely fantastic. Smart. Professional. Trust worthy. Not salesman-ey AT ALL. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I d highly recommend her. I decided on a service appt today to trade in my lease (Laurie from service was amazing too). It was very last minute and Michele could not have been quicker or more accommodating. She took the time to go through all available options and was not pushy at all. She is also very personable and friendly and we enjoyed chatting about our shared love of true crime shows :). All in all a great experience!! Thank you Michele for making it so easy!

To avoid the frustrations many reviewers are citing here, work with Kaman Li. She is responsive, knows exactly what she's doing, and gets answers. Every time I have a question or an issue, I call her directly and it's resolved that day. If I were reviewing the dealership solely on my experience with Kaman, it would be 5 stars. There are other issues (most notably the service desk where you check in for appointments) that are dragging the rating down.

We decided to use this dealership because we had been stung elsewhere in the past and this one came highly recommended by a mechanic friend. Also highly recommended was sales associate Mark A. Carvalho, and I'm happy to say our friend was right. The service and care we received from Mark went above and beyond, we are a couple from overseas and that makes things more difficult when purchasing an item such as a car but Mark never made us feel we were putting him to any additional work - quite the opposite! We told him exactly our parameters and he fitted them to a T - he really, really went out of his way, including being in contact with us on his day off. Mark A. Carvalho is knowledgable, trusty worthy and I could not imagine purchasing a car from anyone else in the future - BMW Morriston is very, very lucky to have him! Everyone we came into contact with at that dealership was pleasant and attentive but Mark A. Carvalho was in a league on his own. I know this review sounds like a total rave, and it is, and I am happy to give it secure in the knowledge that anyone would find his service outstanding.

Leased a car from here, and have been here to service and eventually return the leased car.

I see two different operations here. The front office - sales, finance, return ... etc and then the rest like service, parts, courtesy team.

Front office - these people are nicer and professional then most other dealership, but remember its still sales, so they are still pushy in ways. When they need you to do something, they will follow up, push you a certain way etc. If you need something, say after the car is signed for, thats when you see not all of that "effort" shown before signing exists. The biggest trouble i had was when i returned the car. It was very hard to get a hold of the lease return person - there is only 1.

Back office - Unlike the above team, these people are fantastic. Get you in and out at a reasonable time and offer loaner or shuttle service. They follow up and provide feedback with explanation. A+ for this team.

Most of what I need for my E46 M3 is always in stock, and if it's not, they always have it ready for me within a few days. If you need any parts and accessories for your BMW, look no further! When I dropped of my car I was greeted nicely then guided to the front desk. She was extremely friendly and attentive to my needs when buying the 335. This surprised me as my previous experiences at other dealerships lacked greatly in comparison to BMW Morristown in all areas. From test driving the vehicle, to completing my financial purchase, it was an amazing customer experience. She even went so far to give me her cell phone number, wow! Absolutely horrible! I called in advance for an appmt and was told I can be seen the same day for an oil change. During my conversation, I asked if they would honor a coupon from another BMW dealership...answer YES. I arrive at the dealership within 30 minutes. All downhill from here...receptionist could not locate my information in her computer. Of course, she takes it again and asks me to have a seat. I was waiting over an hour until I proactively approached the desk and asked "when will I be seen". I finally meet with the advisor and he tells me since I did not have an appmt I will have to wait 2-3 hours for an oil change. I then present my coupon, which was denied. I spoke with the service manager (who was a bigger idiot) and she tells me she will credit me the difference on my next service. What a way to bait and switch me! I refused. She then asked me to check my phone and tell her you did I speak with. Long story short, I walked out and told her this was the most unprofessional dealership I have been to. The one in union, nj is way better and more accommodating. More importantly, there oil change specials are $57.95

horrible experience. Took complete advantage of me. Apparently, they must get dinged for in warranty repairs as they claimed my issue was out of warranty and I was abusive to my vehicle. I didn't even get a call from BMW or BMW Morristown over a manager level. They just lost 2 loyal BMW customers and do not care. They are only out to make money and not to keep customers happy. I was so happy when I got my car and all along the service has been terrible. So unfortunate because it turned out to be a service issue. Most people complain about price. I just want good service.

Following the old adage, if I have nothing nice to...

Following the old adage, if I have nothing nice to say, I generally prefer to say nothing at all. However, after much deliberation, I have decided to update a prior glowing review with a more recent disappointing experience that was at odds with the BMW brand and my expectations. I had a problem (of my own making) following the purchase of a 2020 BMW. The matter needed to be escalated to management. In my view the matter was time sensitive, and at the very least it was clear to the dealership that it was causing me a great deal of stress. I asked repeatedly for a call with the manager to discuss the issue. When dealing in $60+k cars, one thinks they may have the opportunity to discuss a problem with the dealership's GM and when buying a BMW from one of the area's premier dealerships, they believe they will be extended the most common courtesy of a returned phone call, or a direct explanation, rather that 2 weeks of obfuscation. I expressed a willingness to bring my issue to another dealership if BMW of Morristown didn't wish to deal with me. I acknowledge that it was not an easy issue, but again, no call after repeated emails requests. Maybe this is my problem, and I should just read between the lines, but it just did not seem right. The few correspondence I received were somewhat baffling. I appreciate that there is often that one poor rating out there for a dealership that folks otherwise generally have positive interactions with, and you may chose to chalk that up to it being an unreasonable customer, or an aberration. And I will say the sales and finance team is generally great at Morristown, but I believe in a few core principles that will take me to Springfield BMW or Paul Miller BMW in the future. These are that, tone at the top matters. The buck stops with the GM and it is for the GM to have tough conversations and make tough calls if need be. However, the auto business is a people business, and if you treat people poorly, this will erode your business over time. I am personally not going to buy my BMWs from Morristown in the future. It is a beautiful facility, and they have a great inventory, just hope that you don't have any problems post delivery.

I arrived at the dealership unfamiliar with BMW's model lineup and quite frankly, unsure of whether I even wanted a BMW for my teenage daughter. Our client advisor Shravan Patel patiently went over all of our options; found a vehicle that met her (and my) requirements and budget; and since it wasn't on-site, went the extra mile to get it to BMW of Morristown for our inspection and test drive. We took delivery last week and couldn't be happier. Overall, my most pleasant car buying experience ever -- thanks to Shravan's demeanor, knowledge, and professionalism. If you are in the market for a BMW, I would highly recommend that you seek out Shravan at BMW of Morristown.

I was far from home and my coolant went in my BMW. In between meetings I went to the service area worried that I didn't have an appointment or much time. They kindly helped by filling the coolant up so I can just get where I needed to for the day. I wish I got the one gentleman's name with the grey hair. He was so nice, reassuring, and informative. I had previously gone to auto stores to do it myself and didn't know that this is something they do quickly. He directed me to the waiting area which is one of the nicest that I have ever been to. It was like a mini breakfast cafe stocked with the typical beverages and pastries. The car was done in 5 minutes as promised and I got to where I needed to be. I know I have a coolant leak and if I didn't live so far, I'd have them do fix it

I have never dealt with them in person, but buy parts from them online. They had a glitch with their computers for a few hours that resulted in parts being sold at below cost, and they still honored the orders. Even big companies often won't absorb those kinds of errors. Well done!

In 2009 I bought a home that gaved me a great deal of stress to complete. My old lease on my Ford Expedition was up and I decided to treat myself to something nice for Christmas. I never got the chance to test drive my car. I built it online and I was referred to Michele Clarke as my salesperson by a partner at my accounting firm. I met my new car and Michele Clarke on the day I picked up my car from the dealer. Fast forward to August 2018 and I just drove off the lot with my 4th BMW from this dealer. There is a BMW dealer within 10 miles of my home. BMW of Morristown is 18 miles from my home and I drive there for service and I will not do business with any other BMW dealers no matter how sweet the deal. What I love about Michele is she DOES NOT bother you. Your lease is up, she calls you to ask when you want to come in to discuss the next car. If you can't make it in person, you send her the specifics and she does her thing. You fax her what she needs and you see her when your car is ready for pick up. There is no sales haggling nor numerous phone calls. She is very easygoing and you do not walk away feeling like you have been swindled. I love doing business with her and will highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a car from this dealership.

I love BMWs, won't get me driving any other brand. I love to tell my friends that BMW drivers drive the brand for the ultimate driving experience. We honestly DRIVE our cars for the love of driving, we just get a beautiful car as a bonus. So once again thanks BMW of Morristown and Michele Clarke for another great experience!!!

I fortunately found a great vehicle at Morristown BMW, a 2020 X4. I had been shopping vehicles for 5 months unsuccessfully finding what I wanted. I found this vehicle online via Carfax and everything within the description matched the car. Surprisingly even the pricing was on point. I actually wound up being the first title owner however, it had 5K miles on it. Loaded with options beautiful phytonic blue and well worth the 90 min ride. Everyone at the pre-owned bldg was great! From day one Marc & Nick were able to find the exact car I wanted which was the 535i and made the process as smooth as possible. This review is for the CPO dealer only. We looked at CPO X3s. They do piss poor reconditioning of their used vehicles. Dents, foggy headlights, screwed up side molding, and more. Also they didn't want to share the CPO check list of fixes. Dude Angel was shady and I knew more about the car than him. Not to mention the CPO building and lot is a complete dump. It's like an old used car lot from 1985. Just terrible. Also the CPO manager just comes over to say hi and give you his silly gambling chip business card and has nothing to say. Really not a good feeling and they need to make some major changes. Would never go back. I only hope that the new car dealer is better. Personally I'm a fan of Springfield or Prestige, they are much better.

Terrible experience. I have a 2011 bmw 328xi and I needed an oil change. The dealer does a $90-$100 oil change special. I made an appt online. Came in 30 mins early and the lady couldn t find my appt, despite the email confirmation I received. After 20 mins she just entered my appt manually. Got called up to the desk by a service advisor. She quotes me $950 for new rear brakes and doesn t mention a lick of the oil change, meanwhile my car has a low oil warning light and to please bring to dealer. I kindly decline the brakes and inform about the oil. I also mentioned that my engine hood was not opening for some reason, and to please look at that. I leave the car. A few hours later I get a call that my engine hood latches are both broken and it s a $900 repair just for that plus $100 for the oil change; I declined. Took the car to my mechanic and he was able to open the hood (latch was stuck, not broken) and do the oil change for $150 bucks, all in. BMW of Morristown is a liar and stated broken parts for latches that weren t even broken. The service advisor was trying to up charge me from the beginning and didn t care about the cars true issues (low engine oil). Never going back.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark Carvalho for leasing a new vehicle. From the beginning he was responsive with answering questions, finding and building the perfect car for my needs, and offering a very competitive deal. He went above and beyond making sure I was always aware of the status of my build, and made the signing and introduction to my car seamless. He commands an impressive understanding of the minutiae of the features and settings in their fleet of vehicles; I suspect he s pretty hard to stump. In terms of his character, two things stand forward. When I signed my lease, they implied my wear and tear coverage was through BMW. When I turned my lease in, the person who helped me said I didn't need to do anything. It turns out the coverage was through a third party and I have to file a claim. The claim process is a nightmare of getting more and more documents and getting shuffled between people. I wouldn't recommend BMW of Morristown, but if you go to them ask detailed questions so there are no surprises later.

Any BMW dealership that is smart enough to make sure they have Larry Stokes on staff will always be my favorite BMW dealership. He is the absolute best car salesman I have ever encountered. He actually sold me my very first BMW in 2007 and at that time, he officially became Uncle Larry (which is the only way I refer to him). Currently internet shopping for a cpo 535i xdrive. As this dealership would be a 2hr drive, i looked to get a schedule of all fees involved in a purchase so there would at once be no surprises should i decide to purchase while there and even more important, enable an apples to apples comparison to comparable cars at other dealerships. Could not get what should be a pretty common thing in writing. Big red flag. I chose to stay away accordingly. If dealing with this dealership, suggest you proceed slowly and with caution.

Update: i did eventually receive an email that broke out the addl fees. These are extremely agressive and when tacked on effectively wiped out any benefit of what appear to be an upfront "lower" price for the vehicle. So what are they and how much?
Doc fee: $599
Etch: $199
Registration: $599*
So thats an addl $1,400 you'll need to be ready to write out of your checkbook in fees in addition to the cost of the vehicle plus taxes.
Seeing the breakout was passed to me in an email and was not in an official company schedule, there may be additional ones that were "missed". In fairness, i placed the asterisk on the registration fee as it was explained that this is an "estimated" fee that is charged and "any difference between it and the actual fee is ultimately returned to the customer". Take that as you will. Unlike really questionable items like "Etching", Registration is a necessary item. However, this "estimate" is 4x the actual fee charged by my state for new plates.
The takeaway? Be alert, do your homework, and ALWAYS look at the TOTAL price of the vehicle.

This dealership lied to me when they sold me my car and told me it has Bluetooth when it doesn't. Years later I needed a $400 repair but when I picked up my car the headlights were broken. Brought it back and now they want 2k to fix the headlights. Through out this every employee I've dealt with including management has been incredibly rude. As their manager said to me "you have a choice to shop elsewhere." Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else for your car and for repairs unless you want to be lied to and ripped off.

We had such a great experience with purchase of wife's X5 that we decided to go back in April and purchase our Second BMW from BMW of Morristown in the last 5 months. I got a 535 I with x drive and could not be happier. The service was just as great. Brian our Client Advisor was super professional and did not take our interest at all for granted.

After driving the car it was an easy decision to make. The BMW drove like a dream and I could not wait to get it into my garage. Less than a month later I had the car in my Garage and I have had nothing but 3 great weeks of driving. I really look forward to my ride to work in the morning. I cannot recommend this dealer and Brian D. enough. Thanks so much guys !

I had the best buying experince ever purchasing my BMW X5 at Morristown BMW. I have purchased several vehicles in my life but this was, by far, the most pleasant and professional experience I could have. From the first time we walked in to do our test drive about one month ago to the time we picked up our vehicle, the treatment we received was nothing but first class. After our test drive we told our Client Advisor Brian Desrosiers that we were going to look around at a few other vehicles. He was great, we did not get any pressure to buy, and ultimately we found that both the vehicle and the dealership experience was so superior to any of the other options we pursued that the decision was easy. Brian's followup was great without being pushy and he provided us with all the information we needed to make sound decision on what trimline and options we wanted and made sense. We got a very fair price and there was none of the back forth haggling that really makes buying a care unpleasant.

When we picked up the vehicle he took over an hour answering all of our questions about the XDrive technology package (really amazing) and all the other important options in the new car. This is the 6th car I have purchased from Michele and she has made the entire process seamless, never a hiccup or issue from beginning to end. Michele is always the consummate professional, going the extra mile to make the buying experience a pleasure and getting you exactly what you want. She is constantly in touch with you to let you know the status every step of the way. She is there to deliver the car and go over every inch of it so you know exactly what you are driving away with.
