Brought my bike in for regular service, told him it quits when it drops idle. He said no problem charged me 1000 dollars to fix, same problem when i drove it home. I looked on line and it needs a software update to fix, they didn't do it and i live 50 miles from there. Probably because their so busy pushing though bikes to quickly, all they would've had to do was start it and they would've found the problem, but they must not have even started it.

Nothing. I called a 3rd time .
Talked to a guy in sales it's not available anymore. He said 30 more people didn't get a call back either

I emailed a salesman one time 3 years ago inquiring about a motorcycle they had for sale. It looks like Moon Motorsports has little regard for security, because they had their email server hacked this week. Now I am getting tons and tons of spam email from some hacker disguised as their sales manager. 1st, why wouldn't a business secure their email server. 2nd, why wasn't 3 year old unnecessary data deleted. If you choose to communicate with this outfit, make sure you use a disposable email address. They do not care about your security.

I'm still getting daily scam emails from tyler at moon motorsports. Thanks guys! I really appreciate you guys not taking security seriously!

Literally picked out a motorcycle, sent them all of the info Via text, showed up the next day, signed and drive home. EASIEST sale ever!! Worked with me in my budget which was a very set amount. The only thing I would have changed was maybe having someone call me a few days after to make sure everything went great. I had 2 bolts come off completely from the windshield during my drive home, so I would have hoped a more thorough inspection would have been completed prior to my arrival. I was also told I would have some sort of in store credit for my purchase... but haven t heard anything yet. Other then that.... it was great!

I have had multiple bikes serviced by Moon, and I ve recently completed a pre-owned motorcycle purchase with a trade in. My new to me Triumph Tiger Explorer is an amazing machine, and upon extensive scrutinization I can see the artful level of effort and detail that the team puts into their used inventory. They paid special attention to my well loved trade in, and proposed a very fair and accurate value for it. At Moon Motorsports, the primary focus of their efforts is simply customer satisfaction. Their business practices are transparent, making you feel a sense of comfort that is not present at most dealers. Sales and service representatives are professional, courteous and experienced. It s evident that they take genuine pride in their work. Moon s digital presence is top tier and their mobile platform is superb. Communication from inquiry through follow up is thorough and attentive. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit, it s worth the drive.

In 2011 I ordered a K1600GTL through MoonMotorSports sales rep Tyler Loebertmann. He is always very helpful, as are all the people in the MoonMotorSports organization. I make no bones about sending people to MoonMotorSports for motorcycle purchases or service! But, just today I learned something new about Tyler. I have had problems with my Garmin BMW Motorrad Navigator IV, seems this GPS does not like Apple MacBooks very, even though Apple makes great computers and they are are sold world-wide as is Garmin. Well as the story goes, when I explained the problem to Earl, he referred me to Tyler, saying he is becoming one of MoonMotorSports go-to-guys for Garmin GPS issues. So off I go...to Tyler's domain sequestered in among the BMW motorcycles. From his desk you can reach out and touch at least two! I explained the GPS problem to Tyler, forwarded the Garmin files from my Apple MacBook Pro and within in minutes he was on the phone with Garmin, and received the necessary information to update my GPS. The last update message said "software files missing!" Garmin failed to send the proper update information for their May 20, 2014 update. Note the last time I updated my Garmin was April 2014 and it had no problem with my Apple MacBook. Well...to end this, I am a very satisfied customer and like Batman, Tyler leads a double life as MoonMotorSports "TechnoGeekMann! By the way...I am using an Apple computer to write this memo.

I bought a 20 thousand plus dollar machine from moon motors. The lack of communication throughout this joint is a joke. Always a hold on let me check. Got a plow on my ranger and broke a shear pin the first time plowing. Haven t even owned this machine a month. Broke another and now they want to charge me for there s***t design of a plow. I plow my own driveway and had to wait for them to come in. Awesome I have a foot of snow in my driveway with a broken plow. Matt the salesman was very unprofessional. Phillip knows slim to none about the machines I d be better off getting on google to do my own research about the machine. Very unhappy about my experience at moon in the future I will take my business else where.

Nothing but positive things to say about this company. I recently purchased a used (6 months old) highly modified bike from them pretty much sight unseen. They did send me pictures but since I am in Ca. I could not see it in person. I recognized it as a really good deal and knew I had to act fast and I did. I agreed to buy it almost immediately. I dealt with David Zelinski and he was fantastic. I always had the impression that I was dealing with an ethical person and an ethical company and that eased the nervousness I had about buying a used bike long distance.

I got everything as promised. All the original parts, receipts, manuals, etc. They helped me arrange for shipping and when the bike arrived it was in the condition they promised. I wouldn t hesitate to buy another bike from them.

We bought a motorcycle from a private party and were having trouble getting it registered due to a problem with the engine number. We knew the bike was originally sold by Moon Motorsports. When I called them , I asked to speak to someone who worked with the titles and was transferred to Vicky. She was so very nice and helpful to educate me on titles and she went above and beyond to research the engine number when the bike was sold originally as well as calling the dmv to give me advice on what we could do to solve our problem. I was very impressed with her professionalism and follow through to help me when we didn t buy the bike from them . Thank you Vicky.!!! Because of you we will be coming in to Moon Motorsports to look at another motorcycle .

I had ridden over 11,000 miles from southwest Indiana to Prudhoe Bay, AK and Yellowknife, Yukon Territory and was heading home through North Dakota when I lost my oil filler cap on a 2006 R1200GS. (Don't ask how I lost it) The nearest dealer on my route was 650 miles to Moon Motorsports, near the interstate in Monticello, WI. The parts dept. did not have a new one in stock, but located one near Green Bay, too far off of my route home at this point in the game. One of the owners of Moon, Kyle Erickson, overheard my dilemma and spent considerable time seeing if the cap from a new boxer would fit my bike and then robbing one from the new bike and presenting it to me for the tiny sum of $6.75.
Thanks so much for getting me back on the road Kyle and Moon Motorsports.

I ve now purchased three motorcycles (Ducati, KTM, and BMW) from Moon Motorsports. They are professional, knowledgeable, thorough, polite, and old fashioned: the customer still comes first at Moon. One of my bikes had a manufacturing issue and the General Manager was with me and beside me the whole way in sorting it out. No hesitation whatsoever to do the right thing. I have a feeling that the owner hires quality people with intention. Also: great inventory, and sales staff who know their bikes but who are not at all hard-sell. A pleasure to work with. It s a good thing I don t live closer.

Had a poor experience with the financing dept. Bought a Triumph from Brett, big help. Small electrical issue with the battery, but returned with bike and it was fixed on the spot, which is great mechanical service, and also what's expected when buying a new bike(reason for 2 stars). However the next week my wife came back to buy a brand new KTM - filled out the online app and submitted before opened for the day. Tried to reach financing dept all day. Left voicemails, asked secretary to handwrite a note...We have yet to hear back. She's new to the sport and this isn't a good way to start things off. Too bad Moon. Thanks again to Brett.

Awesome experience purchasing my new 1290 Super duke with Jesse in sales! He was fantastic at answering all questions and concerns I had and was very prompt knowing I was excited since this is my Dream motorcycle. (Even in the dead of winter) Service installed all the power parts I wanted within a very reasonable time frame and even delivered the bike! Could not be happier with my experience as it was very smooth and easy. Special thanks to Jesse for being awesome and knowledgeable and thank you Chris in the finance department for helping me out! I ve been going to moon for service for a few years and have never had issues. Highly recommend this place whether you re in the market for a Bike etc. or need service, they ll take care of you.

My first point of contact with Moon was with the Sales person Brett DeMaris. I called in to test ride a new FZ-09. He immediately impressed me with his ability to get the bike out of the crate and ready to ride within an hour or so. I ended up showing up 30 minutes early, and he said he'd make that his priority to get it good to go. I am a 21 year old man, and I can see how I could easily come off as a non-serious buyer/kid. Brett did not make me feel like I wasn't taken seriously at all. I ended up purchasing the bike a week later, and Chris in the finance department was nothing but wonderful to work with. Moon has really made me feel like they are looking out for my best interests. My bike ended up getting totaled 3 or 4 weeks after my purchase by a family member, and they were extremely helpful with every step of the process from servicing to having the insurance come and take it. I was so happy with my initial experience, that I came back and asked for another FZ09 in the same color. They ordered it and had it in within 4 days, and I made the purchase again. Moon Motorsports definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to customer service.

Said they still wouldn't take the job because it takes away from working on customers with newer motorcycles! ... A paying job is a paying job... I want everyone to know what a great experience I've had, Evan set up my appointment and ordered new tires for my bike that were being installed today on my way out of town for a long road trip, as I'm putting my helmet on I noticed a fuel leak, I get the bike on a trailer and get it there, Evan gets me dialed in and Andy gets my bike fixed and on the road in less than 4 hours, I'm telling ya these guys are Stellar and I hope these guys get the recognition they deserve, they even turned me on to a awesome local cafe and where the Non-oxy premium gas is. When I left I promised Evan they have my business for life including future atv and motorcycle purchases.

Gave them a call about a new Yamaha R3 that was in stock according to their website. Talked to Tyler, very helpful seemed happy to sell over the phone. Talked to Chris the finance guy after that, did the online application for financing. Tyler and I settled on a price for my trade-in and when I stopped by that night we did the paperwork and I rode off on my first real motorcycle. Great experience and great Yamaha R3!

I needed some technical information on a Ducati 696 and called 3 different Ducati dealers (2 of which I purchased bikes from) and none would take the time to help me. On a whim I called Moon, whom I've never purchased from, they listened to my question, understood what I was asking and gave me the information I was looking for. The whole conversation took 5 minutes. Thank you for being a dealer that supports riders and is willing to help a guy out without focusing on my wallet. Your small gesture just earned my business.

It was obvious from the second I arrived that this dealership was not interested in making a sale. I came in with a 2012 Dyna Wide Glide for Trade-in, hoping to get into a Triumph Thunderbird Storm. The salesman came back with numbers, and offered me $7,500 for a trade in on a bike with a Kelly Blue Book trade-in value of $11,000. This was not the only insult they would lay on me. They found a nail in the back tire, and claimed it would cost $500 to fix it. Apparently what is normally a $40 tube change, is a $500 ordeal at Moon Motorsports. My overall impression, is that these guys are not interested in selling or trading bikes. I have been offered $10,200 for the Wide Glide in both Fargo, and the cities, so either this dealership doesn't want to do business, or they're just out to plain rip folks off.. that choice is yours.

Finally got a response only after posting a bad review. Was given a gift card to use only at Moon Motor Sports, which doesn t really serve a purpose now. The letter said here s a gift card to help out a bad situation, on a used machine you purchased shortly before we worked on it . I guess I m confused, people bring in used machines to find problems, and fix them. To just assume it s just used and probably had issues to begin with, is exactly why I brought it in. From talking to other mechanics about what work was done, I was told there was more work that should have been done once antifreeze was found in the oil. This was not the case, I guess other service shops have different checklists.
Extremely dissatisfied, don t feel the work I paid for was done properly. Got the impression I was just a # on a long list.

I have never had an issue with Moon. My real complaint is this. They used to sell Arai helmets and Held gloves. These are premium products. So no more Arai or Held. I couldn't help but notice another expansion of the store. I hate to see Moon go into being another super mega motorcycle dealer.

Have ruined there reputation on being impersonal and just to big. How many brands are to many. Honda, BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Triumph, Motus and now KTM. Getting rid of Held gloves made in Germany to bringing in Tourmaster that are made in a factory in the Pacific rim god only knows where is very unsettling. I hope they can keep there level of service up to what a past customer expects from them.

I haven't purchased a bike from here, but a friend has and got a better deal here than other places were offering for a Yamaha FZ-09. I'd recommend coming here. Staff was nice and professional.

A woman working in the Parts Department was rude and unhelpful. Went to Bristow's, where they were friendly and able to help by letting me know a part was made for multiple years of snowmobiles, whereas Moon did not. They retrieved the part for me right away. If you are between the two, I'd recommend Bristow's.

He was very courteous and very pleasant to deal with. Everybody including the parts man the service department and the accountant were very pleasant and engaging. I dealt with Chris Rosendahl at Moon Motorsports. They gave me a very fair trade offer via email for my two vehicles, one motorcycle and one atv. They noted that if my pictures and details about the units where correct, they would stand by their numbers. They did. I was able to take home two new atv's after great rebates. The entire process smooth and trouble free.
