Very busy when I stayed but staff very helpful and energetic

Nice pub/restaurant and family friendly. One suggestion, if you are going to serve children's meal then provide children sized cutlery

Shocking service on a quiet night. No reflection on the staff working as they were doing their best but to wait for 25 minutes after being shown to a table for a waitress to appear to offer a drink is not acceptable. To then be asked when the main course is delivered if another drink is required, only for this to arrive as the main course is finished is just inexcusable. Food itself was as to be expected from this chain.... cheap and cheerful. Not recommended!

Lovely spacious building, Road can get a bit congested because the theme park and staffing can be variable due to Unpredictability of eaters. But we would return

Good food, good choice, good service, good place to take the kids, and with the discount voucher we had, good value for money too. Nothing bad to say about it!

The worst meal I have had in ages! Apart from the fact almost half the menu was unobtainable, when it arrived one of the parties meal had to be returned as it was cold. The wait was quite long for service although the place was not busy as such.

Made a booking a day before our visit requested a high chair with the table. Got there and no highchairs available was told it wasn't their fault and I'd have to wait for one. We could not eat whilst holding a toddler so of course we had to wait until one was available before we could order. The manager was most rude and unhelpful and not even an apology. Dont bother booking cos you'd be better off walking in. Worst customer service we've ever had and that's from the manager!!!!

I can not find any fault with this place. They have done the impossible created a classy civil family orientated pub/restaurant. No screaming kids no sticky handprints no suspect stains on floors or chair. I did not honestly believe these More

Food is poor even though it's had an uplift the place still seems dingy.

Lovely meal.....what you expect from a beefeater. Steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Good service.

Food was perfect, couldn't fault it and the staff are always friendly and happy to help you.

Ask for the offer menu which is not offered and will save a few quid when compared to the main menu. I was disappointed with the steak which was chewy.

Unfriendly long waits served starter before drink steak over cooked service very slow and miserable atmosphere had to take my bill downstairs to pay my bill as waitress kept walking past

Good for an out of season breakfast (free for under16s) but can imagine it s a very different when Chessington is open/in season

Breakfast was great loads of variety and choice. Evening meal was a let down. Expensive for what you get. Service extremely slow. Asked for 2 highchairs on arrival but they never arrived.

In the strange times we are in this beefeater goes above and beyond. Masks mandatory until seated. Waitresses were all super friendly and wearing masks. Chefs wearing ppe and food was amazing well done beefeater

The best cooked steak around the area, lovely staff, bit pricey but no waste on plates so we'll worth a few extra pennies

Family meal was great, waiter Reese was brilliant & made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Would have been 4 stars if they had everything on menu available, but was a really enjoyable first meal out since lockdown! Kids said they wanted to go back tomorrow!!

Food was disgusting for the price and the portions of chicken breast & ribs was children size very poor,also had beer shandy could not see the beer like cats wee, will definitely not be coming back,other people have said the same, I have had my own free house pubs and restaurants so know how portions should be,you have a lot to learn to keep customers coming back,I never got one complaint in 45yrs only they ate too much,but still had good profit.

Good atmosphere with good social distancing. Service was prompt and very good. All the food we had was well presented and well cooked. Have used before and will definitely use again.

I booked a table for 8 people birthday celebration had a really great evening and staff was very good and polite and made us feel welcome, because there was a lot of us it was hard to talk to everyone, a round table may have been better, apart from that we had good food would recommend

Service very slow food not hot and asked for air conditioning to be turned down as we had to put out coats on as it was cold in there but didn't happen would not go back

It was the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life and so over priced (you don't get what you pay for) I found a nail and a hair in my salad.

Really long wait even though it was quiet, and then I got served a practically raw steak! The only reason it has got two stars is that this place is usually alright.

Disappointed is an understatement. Sat by the window we felt a draft all evening, on closer inspection it would appear to be because the windows don't fit the frame properly. Service was slow, very slow. The meals themselves were poorly cooked. The salmon risotto was overcooked and rubbery. The Sunday roast (chicken) was clearly just frozen vegetables heated up, I would expect fresh. Desserts were also disappointing, bread and butter pudding that is not at all and is actually just bread pudding covered in custard. Very poor.

Food was good, served quickly as there were 11 in my party. Waiter was very good he was quick with food and drinks. Only 3 stars as an "HOUR" before closing time told no desserts as the dessert person had gone home, asked to drink up they needed to clear dinning area, we could go round to bar area but have no drinks as everything had been shut down, strange that there were people sitting around drinking in the bar area but we couldnt be served. Still 45 minutes till closing time according to website..Felt really rushed, we had an 8 hour drive to get to this place to meet with family could of been a better experience.

Really nice set up. Food is nice. Staff are helpful and was served by Sara C and couldn t fault her. Loverly personality and very polite friendly and helpful. Very well presented. Give her a pay rise. Hopefully I will return to this place again after tomorrow

Went there 6 months ago was fantastic great service n good food... Went back today and they had had a refurbishment and as a result of this the prices were sky high and the menu had turned terrible... None of my favourite starters and to be honest I left after seeing the new menu. I wasnt prepared to pay for something my dog leaves in the garden for free.

Food is good but service can be a little bit slow. Handy for anyone going to Chessington zoo as it is cheaper to eat there than in the park hotels.

It was 5*s but service and people working there have made it go down the pan....

Apart from it being a bit chilly in there it was a good meal
