Fillet steak was one of the best I've ever had
Slow service but worth waiting for

Had tea here 2 nights in a row and the service on the 1st night was fantastic couldn't put a foot wrong. Shame about the 2nd night, salad missing from 1 of the meals, was asked if we wanted any sauces and they never returned with any, and had to fetch our own drinks from bar as never asked again.

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience - it was a Friday night, wasn't overly busy. We were sat down by a very unenthusiastic waitress, weren't offered a drink and wasn't very happy to answer a question we had - we sat and waited a good 10 minutes before anyone offered a drink, it was then another 10 minutes before we received our drinks at which point we made sure we ordered our food very quickly, we didn't wait too long for the food but we made sure we ordered another drink whilst the waitress was around. The staff seemed to be milling about not doing anything, chatting amongst themselves rather than serving anyone, we would have certainly ordered another couple of drinks if anyone was around. We ordered some more of the unlimited triple cooked chips - these never came but they were put on the menu (not charged for them as they were free) we got our bill and left. It's a shame because the food is usually pretty reasonable quality but the prices are actually quite high! If the staff were more attentive it would be a much more enjoyable experience.

Comfortable clean room. Fantastic food at the Monkey Puzzle Beefeater attached to the hotel. Outstanding breakfast. Good staff too..

Food was cold. Not a problem getting it changed however they just microwaved it. Staff were friendly though

The food was delicious the food came quickly compared to other restaurants and as it was my brothers birthday he was very kindly given a free chocolate brownie which was cooked just to his liking. Thank you to all the staff at beefeater hope to come again.

Arrived at 17.30 and ordered our food and it was just over one hour later it arrived then we sent back 4 dinners as they were cold so I will not recommended this restaurant.

The food was fine but everything felt rushed and over priced for the quality you received. There steak selection is very poor for a beefeater. It once had an impressive selection however there is a limited selection now. Asked for my steak medium and it came rare. Dessert sponge pudding was dry. It all tastes fine but there are much better places for a meal.

Only had breakfast as was staying in the near by Premier Inn. Food was fresh, hot and plentiful.

I have visited several Beefeater restaurants over the years up and down the country but this one stood out head and shoulders above the rest . Staff and managers went out of their way to accommodate us , they food was outstanding and the place was exceptionally clean and covid19 prepared . Interior was probably the best beefeater I have seen as well. Topped off what was already a fantastic day visiting Chessington World of Adventure which is right next door .

The food was only average with some dishes bordering on cold. The rainbow bowl was very disappointing, with some of the vegetables cooked and others not.

It was a disappointing end to a mediocre experience.

Waitress pleasant but wore stained uniform (restaurant had just opened for the day). When asking questions about allergies and where to look in info sheets, she didn't know, so we were left to look through sheets with her standing there with no offer of help. I eventually called manager over for help. Food tasted good but saucer under coffee cup had huge chip on the side. I wasn't going to complain as we had already had problems with my daughter's meal which they happily changed and the chip wasn't affecting my meal or drink. Ok but not exceptional. Attention to detail is needed.

Very good service from our waiter. All staff appeared pleasant and helpful. Food good enough as usual and came out in good time. Overall good experience as usual. Use Beefeater regularly all over the country so would always give it a go and recommend to families, groups, couples and others.

Slow service even though not busy. Food very disappointing, steak was cold and there was a mix up with the drinks that arrived after the main course. Should have complained more, but had to leave as we were very cold due to badly directed air conditioning. Very Expensive for what we had!

Looks a nice place.
Unfortunately service is very very slow. Average duration of a two course evening meal is about two hours. Nearly every meal time they couldn t offer a full menu.
Cleanliness of plates varied at breakfast.
Food not hot and plates cold
Some staff very nice and helpful, however others less so
I wouldn t use this restaurant again

Good food my only negative was the last time a went the food was luke warm.

Friendly staff accommodated me when changed my booking time didn't have to wait long for my food and food was lovely staff are lovely would recommend to have dinner here good value for money as well x

Absolutely horrific experience.
The food was really horrible steak was tasteless prefrozen calamari was greasy and horrible.
Plates dirty as was cutlery, 4 disappointed dinners.
The waiters didnt acknowledge our arrival as they were too busy mucking about like teenage kids not a good experience.

Very poor, We walked in and it was extremely dirty and unpleasant. We booked the meal for a nice Sunday evening meal and it was vile and unclean, The bar staff had no idea where anything was and it took to much time. On further inspection the carpets where dirty and not nice considering it's supposed to be nice.

Over charged for wrongly served dish n then tried to excuse there mistake a load of offensive nonsense will try another venue next time

Did the job before our visit to Chessington. Sausages were of questionable quality but other than that we can't complain.

Wasn't sure this would be nice as been to a different chain and was terrible and overpriced, but this place was nice, food was lovely but definitely overpriced unfortunately

Love the place very friendly clean and tidy and very quick to get ur food

Only about 10 people in the place. Waited ages to be served. Soft drink was out of syrup, steak was overcooked,fish was soggy. Don't think they oil was hot enough. Salt was empty etc. Simple things but we both ended up leaving the majority of out meals. Harvester next time..

Long wait for a roast lamb dinner, approx 1 hour.
Appeared to be a bad shortage of staff

Slow service, looked like only one girl doing anything, should of got her name, also had to query the bill as was charged to much, lack of concentration maybe.

Decent food and good portion size for the price. Slow service with a long wait for food to come to the table. Had to ask for drinks refills with another long wait.

Absolutely wonderful place. Food isn't badly priced and you do get a generous portion. Staff are very friendly, always have a smile on their faces. Happy to get anything else you would like. 5/5 would eat here again.

Normally love a beefeater but this was a bad one. Food cold returned twice but got a hot meal. Staff grumpy and had attitude. Lots of complaints from other people here same day. Food was sitting on the kitchen side for over 10 mins before chef had finished and staff had picked it up. Would not recommend at all

We had sophie as waitress very friendly and extremley good at her job and gave excellent service throughout couldnt ask for a better place to eat out thank monkey puzzle beafeater for an excellent evening out for a special occasion for my mums 80th birthday..sophie deserves a bonus lovely young lady

Food was as expected in a beefeater what made it exceptional was the waiter Rhys a lovely young man and a credit to the restaurant

The worst place ever to eat... save your cash & go else where. Even McDonald's.......

Nice atmosphere. Some menu items quite expensive but festive menu great value. Staff are friendly but seem rushed off their feet.

Arrived for a pre-cooked table at 7.30. Waiter took our order. At 8.30 we were still waiting for our starters. Waiter informed us he forgot to put order through to kitchen. 9.00pm our starters arrived. Nice food but awful service.

I'll start with the good points, good food at good prices. Drinks reasonable as well. We booked for 3pm a party of 8. Bar service good then sat at table. Serving staff attentive. Now where it goes downhill is it started to get busy, and the problem is staff numbers remain the same. It then become very hard to attract any staff for additional drinks. Deserts nearly 30min after plates cleared (and that took some time after meals finished). Then trying to finally pay, well I had to chase staff (yep out of my seat following them) to part with my money. I'm wondering if they would have noticed if we had just walked out. Spoke to manager who said they would like more staff but the company says no. So it looks more like profit over service here.

Very good value for money however food was cold and items missing had to be requested.

The waiters are very friendly and the food is nice and fresh, isn't expensive and you have 3h free parking.

The food and service are much improved since the last time we visited, about a year ago. Everybody enjoyed their meals in a fairly relaxed atmosphere.

Staying at Premier Inn next door....popped in for some drinks and decided to eat...... Must say best burger I've had in a long time lots of flavour and all very fresh. Would say try if your near, well worth a visit.

Is what it is, foods what you would expect for the price, not too bad! Staff are always great!

Extremely poor service, we had to wait ages for anything ...

Booked a table for 9 at a busy period but still got in. Table service was good. Had a rib n chicken combo, ribs were great but the chicken was very dry. Everyone else was happy with theirs, the kids left nothing. Relatively cheap.
