Service is really dramatic! I send an e-mail with a question about my TV and sound system from Sony for about 1800 and they always respond with a short, useless sentence that does not give you anything. You would expect something more service to be provided when you spend a lot of money on your products.

Bought a TV 3 years ago. 55inch, 4k, android smart tv. Now 3 years old, from one moment to the next the TV does not turn on anymore, flashes 6x red, screen broken according to the mom I spoke to by phone. 3 years old, new price 1665 euros !!!! No one comes to see if the TV can be repaired. Buying a new one they say, bad luck that it is just out of warranty. With some 'leniency' as they say themselves, I can exchange it for a new TV. Costs ..... 600euro !!!! No payment arrangements possible ...... I don't think a TV should break down after 3 years .... electronics will continue, they say. And to think that we have many other products from Sony ......

Bought a Sony DSC RX10 III online at Coolblue. After receiving the product immediately registered for the 100 cashback. Shortly afterwards I received a neat confirmation that everything was correct. After two months still not receive 100, so call Sony.
The operator indicates that the cashback is in the system but has been rejected because the serial number was photographed incorrectly. Of this I would have received an email that may have ended up in the spam box. This was my problem because they did send the mail according to their system.
Too bad, no courtesy or any service because the action is over.

It takes a few minutes for the TV to turn on or restart itself. contacted them at the beginning of January. They said it was a software issue and that an update was coming out early February. twice a technician visited, update was installed but the TV still does not work as it should. Again an update would come out. The problem would also be escalated but I was asked for repair reports that I don't have. At the beginning of July received a usb stick with the update, problem remained. Again contacted, problem would be escalated again and they ask me again for reports that Sony said they would request themselves.

Now almost 7 months later, the TV is still not working. They keep asking me the same questions by email and telephone. And every time they say they are going to escalate.

Do not buy Sony brand products !! I should have bought a Samsung TV.

I bought a Sony Bravia LED TV (KD-55x8005C) in 2016. TV fails after 4,5 years. Backlights are failing. After contacting Sony they hide behind factory warranty and presumably find it normal that such expensive devices fail after only 4,5 years. According to their service partner the TV cannot be repaired and has to be replaced. They offered me a replacement through a service partner, but I basically had to pay for it myself. Furthermore they tried to put pressure on the offer by stating I had to decide within 24 hrs.

There was a time when Sony stood for quility equipment. That time has come and gone. Very disappointing.

There has been a false report to my 11-year-old son at playstation network, that my son has sent an incorrect chat message, which makes it exciting now.

After sending all the necessary documents both digitally and by mail, they have not sent the money yet. And it appears that they often do not. Came himself on rader. the playstation 4 cannot even read a USB STICK. I get a message from nowhere that I am in the safe mode menu and I can only choose option number 7. I do that and therefore need a USB-STICK with the system software update in it. I put it in and then I get the error message that the USB-STICK is not connected (SU-41333-4) so I buy several USB sticks and that doesn't work. I also don't want to spend 100 or more to fix my playstation 4 for free because the system is so bad. and another problem. I am called names and I ask him to stop or I report him. he does not stop so I report him and then I will be suspended. I really do not understand this with this system.

Never again Sony! Expensive and poor service. No leniency! TV of 2000 after 2.5 years break! expensive repair costs. Send Media Market to Sony and Sony to Media Market! How often in your life do you buy a TV! Sony cathedral, now no more audio and playstation for the children. There are better brands with the right service !!! Indeed, I should have read the reviews better myself, instead of being advised by a seller!

Briefly summarized:
- I bought a lens from Sony. There was a cash-back action for that.
- On Friday, November 23, I have sent the forms INCLUDING the original serial number. To be on the safe side, I took a picture of this serial number in case Sony would lose it.
- Furthermore, I made a picture of the box that clearly shows that the box and the cut serial number match and I can prove that my lens has the same number.
- Then it took more than 6 weeks (after many requests) before I was told that the mail item was 'checked' and that Sony did not (or no longer) have the original serial number. consciously or accidentally lost and that they do not pay the cashback.

I notice that on the Internet this problem is reported more often at Sony. It seems that this is a business model from Sony. I am not talking about the 80 Euro, but about the principle. How bad does @Sony deal with its customers !!
