Vegan restaurant which can eat very delicious even non-greens. Delicate and varied flavor makes your mouth fun. I want to go again.

A weird night at Moksa.....

This was our fifth visit to Moksa, with each meal seeming to be better than the last. The food is amazing, thoughtful and delicious. We have brought a bottle of wine with us each time we've dined here. They charge a small corkage fee which we are happy to pay. We feel good about supporting vegan/vegetarian chefs and always enjoy the kindness of the staff, the ambiance, even the dogs in the parking lot are delightful.

Unfortunately, last night one of the staff members explained to us that while it was "ok" to bring wine, that we should "hide it from the other guests" because if they saw it they would "ask why they couldn't bring it." He insisted that we put our wine bottle on the floor, and continued to explain that "they are a healthy restaurant." After sufficiently shaming us for our choice to drink wine, he opened the bottle and happily brought us two wine glasses.

Dinner was even less enjoyable as there was a group of loud children running riot through the restaurant (bad luck on our part). Alas, staff took no action to address the noise and were generally invisible except when delivering food or telling us that they were about to close.

The food...amazing. The experience....bewildering. The wine?...a hassle. Overall I was just disappointed, as we have come to love this restaurant. We may go back, but certainly not with the same enthusiasm as before.

Expensive plant based food restaurant. Everything is fresh, based on many dishes with raw ingredients. Ideal for vegans and all those who love fresh, light and wholesome food.

This was a wonderful vegan restaurant everything we had was delicious. Kitchen closes at 8:30pm and the restaurant at 9pm. We paid Rp. 200,000 per person.

Had the Moksa Mezze! It is absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. THE VIBE IS 10/10! The staff is 10/10. I am waiting to go back here.

The flavours of the food are outrageously good, and the price is very affordable for the quality. With this kind of food its easy to imagine not ever eating meat or dairy again!

Just wow. Can't stop coming back. Bali has some incredible food, but Moksa shines so brightly. Easily rivaling Locavore for inventiveness and panache. The whole experience comes together with those tiny details that make a restaurant worth returning to... And the smiling, attentive staff are a delight.

the place looks great and really tropical. I love the view and the seating areas. The cutlery is really beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The service is great and friendly and food is really good. My personal favorite are the jackfruit tacos. For someone who likes to eat meat it s a good substitute for it. Has the same texture and same feel to. Also the Tropical fizz mocktail is amazing. It s sweet but just the right amount, I would really recommend it. All in all The food was great and the service was too. Definite go to restaurant if your in Ubud

Wow! For us it was the best vegan restaurant in Ubud. So much choice of food and its very delecious! The service is very friendly and it feels like a familial feeling. We enjoy it two times and we will defnitly come back :)

Super important to support local farmers as the tourist industry has changed - not always for the better and in many cases for the worse - the local Balinese economy. Delicious and nutritious. Everything was amazing. Especially the white chocolate panna cotta! They also have farmer markets on site - ask what days.

So this is my second time going to moksa. First visit was wonderful. This time I m here for breakfast, as we ordered couple of smoothies for me and my GF we can see them cooking in kitchen. The guy blending the smoothies tried the smoothie with the spoon and add sugar to it blended it and used the same spoon to try it again. Was very disappointed. I don t think I ll be back.

Everything here is just amazing. Probably the best meal I have ever had, and all of it is vegan. A must-visit if you are in Bali.

Great vegan restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant has an open area outside with a beautiful view on a nice garden. They have a lot of different options to choose from on the menu, and everything is 100% plant based. They also offer many raw vegan dishes and everything on the menu is clearly labeled if cooked or raw. The food tastes amazing and is very beautifully decorated. They also have a little shop next to the restaurant where they sell different sweets and amazing self made vegan cashew cheeses. I can definitely highly recommend this place.

A must if you are vegan, interested in veganism or just love good food. The dishes are beautifully created and so interesting to eat. I couldn't recommend more.

Unbelievably good

We are not Vegan just mindful eaters and love fresh food. Moksa delivered above and beyond, we have been traveling through Thailand and now in Bali always searching for cheap veggie/vegan food. A true experience compared to the trendy vegan cafes you find in Bali. The service and the food were excellent and so is the price. Best vegan food we've ever had. I left feeling full. Can't wait to try more things on this menu.

This place would stand out even in a major city with wonderful vegan options. Fresh, innovative, thoughtful food in a beautiful setting. It should be listed as a destination.

food was very tasty, nice surrounding, very clean and busy kitchen. but didn't like the fact that we were moved to another table after we sat ourselves down with the explanation that that particular table was reserved, we didn't see nobody use that table for the whole time we were there though. not cheap

The place is a little remote but definitely worth it. The food is vegetarian / vegan (some raw food) but don't be afraid, it's great!

I love the food! It's the freshest and most delicious vegetarian food that I've ever tasted! Also, they have a very nice field view.

A culinary delight! Plant-based food that would rival any 5 star restaurant. The dishes always surprise and delight with the flavor profiles and visual presentation. Every dish I have ever had here has been a treat! They also offer cooking classes and have a private space in the back for body work classes.

We were yesterday, June 16, 2018. Perfect, even my 16 year old son who is not at all vegetarian enjoyed it. A pleasure for the senses, a great combination of flavors that are seen by the eyes. Spectacular selection of fruit and vegetable juices. Very correct price. The menu to choose between any starter and main course with dessert included for about 15 with drink. Essential if you come to Bali.

Delicious vegan restaurant. Service is very good, the scenery is beautiful and there is a market farmer twice a week.

Insanely pleasing. Probably my favourite vegan food in the world(Sayuri is up there too). If you know quality vegan you will appreciate. I worked in a gourmet raw food kitchen in the states and the place is completely comparable and even exceeding in and ways which is insane because less than half the price and super ingredients. It's also got a dojo, yoga, and permaculture garden that some of the food comes from... The breakfast is to die for, some of the best I have had. Service was perfect. Loved.

This place is how I imagine the heaven. Great for body, mind and soul. Food is just amazingly prepared and served, you can tell is super fresh and you will love it from the first to the last bite (I'm not vegan), staff is really attentive, friendly and great in explaining all the dishes. We've been suggested from a friend to go there and once we tried it we went back for two days in a row. We can't wait to be back again soon :)

Really nice place, kind chef, great food...even for a non vegan. Juices were also top notch. Only issue: a bit pricey for Bali...but then you get the quality

If you are into vegan "hipstery" food this is the place you wanna visit. A bit of a walk yo get there, but totally worth it!!

Wow. And I'm not just exaggerating. Moksa really hits the spot; and from the first bite to the last bite, my family was amazed by the flavors. The quality of the food is stellar, made not for quantity but for really getting out the best flavors from raw ingredients. Try the jackfruit tacos and their special passionfruit mango cheese cake. Trust me, you will be wowed. Also, it's very affordable compared to its professionality.

Fantastic service. Outdoor seating. You can purchase whole cakes to go. They didn't have one available for me, but I was able to buy a half cake to go. So they really cater to the customer.

Came back again for lunch. Still delicious, however there is a different menu for lunch (see pics). Ordered a couple whole pies for about 450K Rupiah each (lemon and purple sweet potato)

The path is narrow, so be careful! I had a sampler and lasagna made with mushroom soup and cucumbers on the left. It was delicious too! But the rest of the food and the recommended drinks are spicy and unusual, so I personally didn't fit! I think you should choose the menu well !!

Amazing food and service, truly mind blowing. Waiters were very knowledgeable on the dishes and eager to help out with dietary requirements. Staff in general were very warm an accommodating, went here two days in a row and staff were genuinely happy and grateful to see us back the second time around. Awesome vibes!

Excellent discovery for my part of vegan gastronomy. Little follower of the concept too pushed to the extreme in my opinion, I must say that I was amazed by the visual and taste quality of my dishes ... A good glass of wine would have been appreciated with that but no alcohol. ..

From 10. Vegetarian, creative, different and surprising option on the outskirts of Ubud, 5 minutes by motorcycle from the center.

The service was immaculate! Really really good service. The food was also very tasty! However with a wide variety of raw vegan cafes in Ubud I ve noticed that the portion sizes are smaller than in other cafes and also the prices are much higher than other raw vegan cafes.

After 1 week in Bali, this is the best restaurant I have done. I am absolutely not vegan or even vegetarian ... I found the dishes very worked, beautifully presented and composed of many different flavors that our European palates are not used to. The setting is also beautiful all in a zen atmosphere.

I wanted to give 3.5 stars but you can only give 3 or 4 and it wasn't worth 4... The food here is really good but the small serving sizes and the service let the place down a little bit. They forgot our salad and didn't really offer much of an apology. You can choose between raw and heated dishes and there is a great number of options to choose from

As this restaurant is at the outskirts of Ubud you might take a taxi to get there. There are no real sidewalks up to this restaurant.

The food is so well made in terms of combining flavours and and preparation. The previous reviews weren't excaggerating, this place is so good! On top of that the service is impeccable. 5/5

One of my faves in Ubud for vegan and raw vegan food. Chill atmosphere with garden view and the sweetest staff. They have a dojo and lovely events/yoga as well as a permaculture garden where I believe you can purchase fruits & veggies. The food is always really fresh and vibrant.

If you are looking for the best vegetarian restaurant in Bali, you must visit here. Non vegetarian could enjoy too.

One of the best addresses for vegan food in ubud. Insanely beautiful ambience between rice fields and with its own beautiful garden, friendly service, which remembers your name, water is poured free of charge, as soon as it is empty, partly glassy kitchen. Many rohvegane and gluten-free dishes, the Tiramisu is a dream. For Indonesian standards upscale price category, but for us "Wessis" still very cheap.

Very delicious vegan food in natural environment. Indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views. Ordered Chef s Bowl, Eggplant Rendang and smoothies - very flavorful and fresh. The mango, passion fruit, strawberry cheese cake is heavenly. Friendly staff!

The best restaurant I've been to in Indonesia. Food is inventive and delicious (and healthy). And the staff are super personable. The waitress even remembered my name the next time I came.

One of the best vegan places in Bali! Friendly staff and amazing chef. All of the flavor combinations let you know there's true talent in the kitchen. Great vegan restaurant! Definitely give it a shot. They have a small farm around the restaurant and grow most of their own food with permaculture. They also have cooking classes. It's hard to find, but I saw they added new signs to direct customers.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Bali. Been living on the island and eating around for a year and this is hands down the best IMO. Absolutely come and enjoy. Great prices and amazing quality!

Even though I m not vegan I totally enjoyed the food there! Everything tasted so good and there was so much to choose from it took me ages to decide. The price is okay but it s worth the money. The service was very nice and polite. A big recommendation!!

Nature friendly vegan restaurant with great food and service.

I'm always skeptical of "good restaurants for being vegan." The vegan qualifier makes me think that it would be a subpar restaurant if it had delicious meats and fish at it.

But Moksa is 100% delicious, coming from a meat eater. One of the best meals we had in Bali.

It would make going vegan easy.

Love Moksa. Can.'t recommend it enough. And it's owned by Balinese people which is supporting the local economy. Really great well presented and healthy organic vegan food.
