Good attention
Excellent food
The food is delicious and the service was awesome! It's intimate, has a bar, but limited parking available.
Delicious and tasty food that is seasoned well. Great parking and ambiance.
I have been there last night (10/3/17) and we very much enjoy the food. We had the lamb shank, filet mignon, salmon and lam kebab. All very tasty and neat. Friendly waitress and great atmosphere.
Nice cozy dining experience with great selection of Middle Eastern food.
I love this restaurant so much the meat is halal the food delicious i will keep visiting this restaurant until leave USA
Honestly, eating is worth the high price of dishes
Exaggerated
The food quality is not good
The bill is high
The best Mediterranean restaurant in Boston very nice food delicious and variety of choices.
Superb , Great Food , some of the best dining to be had , you can never go wrong with Al Wadi... Highly recommended
Great neighborhood restaurant! Consistently good food with flavor galore and excellent desserts. Big portions so order accordingly.
Amazing Valentine's Day dinner. Belly dancing, excellent saxophone player and phenomenal food.
Excellent. This place makes me love rice pilaf. Everything is amazing.
An awesome Valentines experience. Great ambiance ..lovely decorations music and flowers. Delicious food and great service.
Excellent food and service. The kibee nayeh is amazing!
It is difficult to surprise with meat dishes, but the presence of vegetarian ones surprised me. The atmosphere is great, prices are moderate, though a little overpriced. Excellent parking and nice staff. I like it!
I had the grilled meat platter and wife had the vegetarian dish
Grilled platter was good and had good seasoning
My knobbly problem with the place is the price. For 6 kabobs and bit of rice for $23 is a bit pricey :/
Delicious food and great service and they have vegetarian options.
Excellent establishment. Great choice for a change up for your taste buds. The falafel and beef dumplings are always on my order. Great setting as well
Amazing Lebanese food, super clean restaurant. I will be back!
One word: BLAND
I am a Lebanese food fanatic and have to say Al Wadi was so disappointing. We normally go to Cafe Barada but wanted to try something new so we ventured out.
When you turn up, the restaurant is on a busy road on the corner. It's looks fine from the outside and when you go in the space looks like a mini banquette hall with neutrals and mute tones. The space is ok but nothing that gives you an experience or a vibe.
The staff are kind and nice and have a easy tone. They were helpful.
However, the food....
First, the Hummus came out with ground beef on it that was cold, the fattoush salad was huge chunks of iceberg, a few radishes and onion and had minimal sumac on it. The halloumi was deep fried, the tabbouleh was basically a tomato salad that was also very bland and oily. The grilled chicken was ok, but the rice was bloated and soggy. Finally, the baclava that I live for was so mediocre I didn't eat the second piece.
So, all in all, this restaurant is ok. It's not horrible but it's not great. And if you are used to having incredible Lebanese this restaurant will not meet your standards.
Time to up the flavor!
The rice was under cooked, kabab I would say below average the hummos was good, definitely do not order dessert.
Excellent dinner. Food was tasty and fresh. Everyone in our party was extremely pleased with the selections. Appreciated the wine selection as well.
What a great Lebanese upscale dining experience. The ambiance is great and the service is outstanding. My wife and I have been here a couple of times and we've always had a great time. The food never dissapoints as the plates are huge and flavour is out of this world. I can't witness how authentic it is but I would definitely recommend it. If you are into dark beers do yourself a favor and ask for a 'Taybeh Dark', a Palestinian beer.
The food is decent but it is a bit pricey. A more formal atmosphere.
What a great place! The food was delicious and the customer service was even better. The Meat was perfectly cooked and The Knefe for desert was the best I have had!! I would definitely recommend Al Wadi!
Authentic food in comfortable and well-appointed setting.
Honestly better than I expected. There service is better that I could have asked. They have wonderful food and such polite staff!
Pretty good, although there is no one who has the advantage of being an Arab, unfortunately it is not encouraging
Everything was great, lot of vegetarian options. Service was great!
Definitely come again.
Great food. Good portions. I need to get back more often. Went back and had lunch about a week ago, excellent food, service was perfect. Price was good. You should go.
Delicious food, adequate service, reasonable prices.
Not authentic food, bare minimum quality, servics was ok.
Good food for reasonable price in a very clean restaurant. We liked kebabs, they were good quality. The only issue we had was ayran. When we first ordered it, it was very bad, tasted like watered yogurt, no mint or other spices. We mentioned that to the waiter and the manager or the owner came over apologized and offered a replacement on the house. She promised she will prepare it herself. When she did, it was one of the best ayran drinks we ever tried. Just to sum it up. Great restaurant if you are a fan of middle eastern food. We will definitely come back.
The best sit down Lebanese, scratch that, the best sit down Mediterranean restaurant in greater Boston. Hands down. I wholeheartedly disagree with this comments regarding it being pricy - I'd pay more.
Grape leaves were delicious, hummus was good as well.
Not bad service, but the food or who ever make the food has nothing to do with Lebanese food.
Really like this place. Took my parents and wife here who don't typically like middle eastern food and they all really enjoyed it. The mixed grilled plate was great, really good kofta and their chicken both kabobs and 1/2 chicken was amazing. My wife said it was one of the best she's ever had. Dolma and tabouli were amazing as well.
Incredible food, great service, nice atmosphere, prices a little more on the expensive side but totally worth it. There are good vegan and vegetarian options, as well as a plethora of meat options. There's a lot of seating, a semi-private back room, and a bar. Great for groups or a nice date. There is also a parking lot, which is important if you're driving yourself. Overall we had a great experience!
(Restaurant in a separate high-rise building)
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food, I have been to this restaurant for four years, away from the heart of Boston within a quarter of an hour, Lebanese cuisine and grills and rice and offer Fattoush salad and oil Zaatar free hospitality, I used at each visit to enjoy at the end of the food to order sweets such as baklava and Namoura and a cup Turkish Coffee.
Worth a visit.
What a different food experience. Flavors you've never had before definitely a must try
Food here is excellent. The apps are fantastic; we ordered the Haloumi, Grape Leaves, Hummus and Lebneh. The mixed grill is the go-to entree.
Great staff, food and ambiance! As a frequent diner in Boston, I want to point out a subtlety that made our evening SO enjoyable. We went to dinner around 8:30, so the restaurant wasn t very full. Each party that was sat was atleast three tables away on both sides from another party. Usually when a restaurant isn t full they seat everyone in the same section and leave the rest of the tables open. I loved being able to enjoy our dinner with privacy and space. I highly reconnect the rikatat, which is a fried cheese appetizer and the pumpkin kibbe was amazing! Overall great dinner experience!
The food was alright. Waitress although nice and courteous was never seen once dropping food on the table. Very expensive for the quality of the food. They automatically add 18% of the meal cost as a tip and expect you to add gratuity.... what a rip off!
Great service by server Jenica, happy hour bogo yard margs...can t go wrong! Great afternoon stop on the strip.
Pretty good food for the price. Look into your water
Tried for first time today. Big fan of Lebanese food but always difficult to find in Boston. This place is gem! Awesome authentic Lebanese food and at a great price. Loved it!
First, let's start with the fabulous service and staff.
The service is simply impeccable.
The food is a masterpiece. The food, and I mean everything on the menu is freshly made, the dish decoration is as it should be, pleasing to the eye and appealing to the palate, perfection from preparation to presentation. It s difficult to find any better authentic looking Lebanese dishes that actually taste authentically lebanese.
There are always several options for the The special daily dish. Let me tell you that Al Wadi always surprises you with a daily dish that is something that you should not be missing out., it s THE Lebanese restaurant that allows you to taste great food and leaves you with a gastronomic experience while feeling at home in a calm and relaxing environment.
I recommend leaving some space for the one of a kind Lebanese ice cream, along with Turkish coffee. Al Wadi is a budget friendly Lebanese cuisine restaurant that is amazing to visit for lunch or dinner with friends and family. Although you can find a table on arrival, I always call ahead and reserve a table.
One last note, if you feel too cold for an an ice cream try the flourless chocolate cake. This cake always draws a smile on my face. Other must try lebanese sweets include Knefe, Namoura and Baklava...simply yumm!
The Lebanese manager was rude to us. He was racist and showed very low class.
Food was reasonable. Waiter was amazingly kind.
Really enjoyed the food here, definitely cooked fresh and authentic. Prices are fair considering the quantity and more importantly the quality of the food. Will definitely eat here again
Good food. A little pricey but a nice experience overall. Good service. Good quantity. Would recommend. Would visit again.
love love love al wadi . lamb chops chicken skewers pilaf
Great service, good food, but desserts are not their strength even though they are beautifully presented.
Stopped by for a quick lunch on a Sunday. We were delighted at how many vegan options they have. In addition to two vegan dinner entrees, the vast majority of their exceptional appetizers are vegan. The service is very gracious and the atmosphere is lovely. A great place to add to your vegan list of Boston!
Food quality is about 6/10. Rather expensive and they included 20% tip into the bill for a party of 3..... I mean it is understanble for a larger party, but not for a party of 3!
The best Lebanese food in Boston area and I m Lebanese. Everything was top notch in flavor and quality. The reviews here are very misleading by people looking for better tasting water - this is top quality, impeccable service, Lebanese owned and operated so therefore only authentic Lebanese in the area.
I am a repeat customer. Whenever I get the chance to go to Al Was, I'm there. The food is very good always. The staff is friendly and always. If you want authentic, this is the place.
Always fabulous, the food is excellent. We always order the dinner for two as it provides all the variety between the starters, entree and dessert. Definitely worth the price, not to mention their sangria's are fantastic.
Grill Chicken was awesome. Lamb which we had in entree was bit less cooked, you can ask them for extra roasting. Chicken wings were dipped in sause which was bit sour, didn't like the taste though.
The waitress was either tired or annoyed. When I asked what beer they had, I got answer: "what do you want, try me." When I ordered mixed grill entry, I didn't mean chicken as well. Lamb kabob was chewy, almost as a wrong cut for kabobs. Kaftan was very good. We also enjoyed chicken liver appetizer. Definitely not worth $$$ prices they charge. You can get a much better Mediterranean cuisine elsewhere.
Great for lunch or dinner
Limited menu.
Food is very good.
Good place to go solo or with a date, but not for families. There's no kids menu, and much of the food is at prices double what you could get off a local food truck or at a local dive. That said, the food is very well done, drinks are inventive and tasty, service is attentive (although struck me as pretty leery of my motley crew), and the portions are fairly decent sized, though largely due to everything coming with rice pilaf (although the pilaf was good). The chicken schwarma was dry, but the chicken kebab had a nice grilled flavor. The jumbo shrimp kebabs were good. The lentil soup is fairly plain. The lamb and pumpkin kibbeh were both spot on and not too dry. They don't really have any non alcoholic specialty drinks. The hummus was light and tasty. The baba ghanoush was too smoky. The cheese flutes were very nice, as were the salads. The chicken wings appetizer was maybe a little heavy on sumac, but quite good. The only real problem with those was the limited quantity for such small sized wings. All of the desserts were spectacular.
