During Covid I took my first trip to Miami Beach with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arrival I was happy that we choose the Ritz Carlton South Beach even though it was much more expensive then other nearby hotels of similar quality. Upon check out they charged us $15 for M&Ms that we didn t purchase from the minibar, and two days later they charged us $203 more for additional minibar items. When I called and emailed Mariia in account she never responded to my call or email. I am extremely disappointed that I selected the Ritz Carlton as I expected exceptional service and now I ve been fraudulently charged for minibar items that I did not make, I have not been able to resolve the matter with the hotel, and I can not reach anyone that will help me. The Ritz also charged us a $45 resort fee, in addition to the $300 lounging fee, plus taxes, and we order room service. The total bill that I agreed to was $422, then they charged me $203 days later. The minibar folio was not even attached to my room number.

How does this place have such a high rating? The service is poor, the room size for the price is tiny, the music at the pool makes you feel old and slumpy, and did I say the service is poor? Maybe we just had a bad experience, but we requested early check-in at 3pm and our room was not available until 5:30. When we went to ask what was taking so long at 5 we saw people getting rooms right and left. Umm.. What? We had no special or fancy room to cause a delay so I'm not sure what the hold up was, but I can be patient. However, when you are rude when I try and ask what caused the delay, it's not acceptable to snap back at me and get upset. Don't waste your money.

Sorry Ritz. Try harder. While the service here was great (Jenna at the front desk and Daniel the bellman are two standouts), the rooms are old. They're not *bad*, mind you; they're just not good: small, uninspired, bland, literally beige. Nice pool. Club lounge and club service is good. One restaurant is called "Di Lido" and despite knowing better, every time you see the words printed your mind will translate it into "dildo"; I think this actually awards an entire star. The whole place needs a facelift. Doesn't physically reflect the Ritz brand experience. South Beach hotels are generally pretty bad, and there are any number of better places for less or the same money.

We were here for 3 nights to get to know Miami before we flew to Anguilla. While Miami was nothing too special, the staff at the Ritz-Carlton made this stay an absolute delight. Club room was great, large enough for the two of us, we had a partial ocean view and a little balcony with a set of chairs and a table. If I tell you what annoyed me the most was that the shower could have a bit more pressure you can get a gist of how positive the whole experience was. A special shout out to Mike in the Club Lounge who went out of his way to figure out a slight miscommunication with our booking; he gave fantastic service in a super friendly way that definitely left us with a smile and the will to come back here.

The staff here are great! The facility is, too; however, there are downsides. While the price is expected to be high, the room was not completely clean upon arrival (ex: jello cups and others trash left behind). The wall outlets did not all work, with some even loose and inoperable. While their proximity to the beach is ideal, that doesn't mean the quality of the rooms should lessen.

The best hotel I have ever been to in South Beach. The rooms are luxurious, well worth the price. Now it is a resort hotel so be prepared to pay for it, with you having to pay for the amenities. They have everything you could possibly want there, restaurants, pool, and bar. You are well attended to while you are there with towel service and excellent customer service. This is the go-to place in South Beach if you want to have a nice relaxing vacation with only a few blocks away from the party scene or from excellent eats.

A very short walk from the airport. Small hotel but they covered everything. Thought they had a restaurant but had a cafe. No place to go for dinner close by. A pain when you are only overnight and catching an early morning flight. However the hotel was much better than I expected.

Sad to hear they are making their employees come to work on Friday September 8, 2017. God Bless the employees who will be worried to death about their family's well being instead of being with their loved ones. SHAME and karma to corporate

This is the worst hotel I ve ever been in my whole life, to make the long story short, we went there from Dallas that weekend that Miami closed the beaches and the touristic areas, and The Ritz Carlton didn t make our time in there comfortable for us, they gave us the wrong room, and make us feel very bad the whole time we were there. They don t care about the cultures diversity and guests opinions, they ask us to stopped playing our music, and nowhere had sings or rules that can explain us that, they didn t gave us a contract and not even sent us an email with the hotel rules. What an ashamed we won t never come back and we won t suggest this hotel to nobody never, pretty bad.
