Pool is under maintenance on our first night, badluck for us. No complementary given, except birthday treat for my daughter that made her happy. Key cards are malfunctioning, needs reprogramming at the ground floor every now and then.
Breakfast food not enough variety, I did not enjoy...
It was my first experience in Movenpick and have seen most of the hotels here in doha, and it was not the same bad experience as this...

Dear Management Team, I have stayed to Moven pick west bay Doha at various occasion and have always felt at home. The staff at reception are extremely helpful and humble. Special thanks and compliments to the concierge team - Salim, Shahin,Farhat , Braco & Yasin. they all have serving guest with a smiling face and are of helpful nature. Thanks for delicious breakfast and appreciation for Anup and krishna They have always been active on the floor. Housekeeping service is excellent. I have also taken snaps with all of them as memory. Keep up the good work
Your mattresses and pillows are way too soft and nothing firmer was provided when I complained.
The hotel, design, service and swimming pool are good but you still need to do activities for the kids like play area, parties, water play,,,,,,, etc. there s nothing for kids to do
Enjoy my stay, although the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade. However still a good hotel!

The hotel is lovely and the staff are professional, but do not give you the correct information which caused some inconvenience and upset.

The room was not properly cleaned. When I entered the room the toilet was filthy as well as parts ( under the sink) thet had not been cleand in a long time. No plugges where available close to the bed , tv can not be seen when lying on the bed. The kitchenette was dirty. The door to the bathroom was broken .
Our stay was very comfortable. Our rooms were always well-made, and requests addressed promptly. At the reception, Douniya was so helpful and courteous. We really hope to revisit the hotel again in 2022 for the World Cup :-)

The stay was average Positive : fast transfer from the airport by hotel bus - staff were friendly
Negative: Service at restaurant is slow , awful food , spa under construction and too much noise.
Loved my stay there. Most of all was the F&B part especially the buffet breakfast and lunch was par exceptional. Loved the Singapore laksa and the dosa. Wish there was sushi too in the buffet spread. Fruits and vegetables were fresh and the service impeccable.
Although I missed the wok mee restaurant that used to be there the last time I visited this property.
Good comfy modern hotel. Very friendly and accommodating receptionist team. The gym is properly equipped with high range free weights. Top floor also contains a pool with nice panoramic views.

I was placed in room 406. Both days I stayed there we had issues with the water temperature. Both times an engineer was sent who managed to get the water warm. At no point did we have hot water. The second day in the room there was a very bad smell-I would have asked to switch rooms but I was tired and had a lot of stuff. I requested airport shuttle and was a few minutes late in the morning and was told it had already left. However, on the phone the evening before when I inquired I was not informed that it leaves every hour on the hour, therefore I had to book and pay for my own taxi. The door staff were very helpful and accommodating-I recommend that room 406 not be rented out until the water problem and smell are dealt with. As well, the shower head had very little water pressure. Overall, my stay at the movenpick west bay was sub-par and I would not stay there again or recommend this hotel to others.
I did like my stay in the hotel and the view was amazing - the pool was super nice and my family did love their time - i will be back soon and i will tell all my friend about my great experience with your hotel . thank you .

Nice hotel and nice staff. A star deduction as we had booked with Business Lounge but in the evening had nothing to offer. Here was served only until the tea time.

Friendly Staff. Nice clean room. Breakfast and dinner buffet selection was incredible.
Had difficulty with our initial room due to cockroache infestation and the bed was kinda broken. Our rooms were changed on request.

Got a complimentary stay from Qatar airways. Excellent hotel with neat and tidy rooms. Serves a variety of desserts. Yummy food.
Excellent location nice outside view from room and delicious food
The room was spacious , clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable and the housekeeping was good and the amenities provided for bath and hygiene , iron and iron board are good. The staff was friendly too. And the internet provided was speedy as well .
On the other hand there are points that can be enhanced , in the room the bathrooms need some maintenance / upgrade ( doors wood was peeling off , the bathtub glass hinges are deteriorating )
The restaurant choice is limited to one the forknife and the breakfast menu was medium ( the diaries are not of best to offer in terms of quality and freshness , the vegetables as well.
The forknife restaurant windows are very dirty which adds up to the poor view the restaurant has.
There was parking provided as i had my own car , but the parking is shared by the visitors of the coffee shop and Shisha place stormed by people from outside the hotel which keeps rare space for in-house guest .
I have asked the concierge several times to provide access to underground parking which is more convenient in terms of weather and parking availability as it is not shared with coffee shops visitors , but permission was never granted with no reasonable reason .
I think the rating could be more , but when adding the price factor , which is after special offer 431 qar ( 123 USD / night ) , it is very close to 5 stars hotels in Doha that has more to offer.

When we arrived they argued with us about us booking our breakfast.We booked off of a chain website, and apparently they do not have good connections with the chain website, then why would you agree to let people book your hotel on that website,they also were impolite and very rude to us.And their policy's about the Jacuizzi and Gym are very irregular and stupidity d.Ivwould understand if they said their policy's online and I would be fine ,because I know them.But, they disnt, a relative also stayed with use and they were lied to.They did not receive an espresso machine with their room even thought they were supposed to.The executive lounge is also a lie their are barley any snacks and it's a big ripoff.Nice hotel...Bas service...
Impressive hotel with amazing Doha views
The staff have great customer service experience , and the room we stayed in are impeccable and very clean .
We stayed for two nights, really the hotel is Ideal for a relaxing weekend, enjoyed the indoor pool for kids and adults and helpful spa team, moreover the awesome dinner at the Forknife restaurant .
Loved everything about this hotel and sure i like to come back again.

I've faced some challenges with my stay over there,
I've ordered a pizza for lunch and it took an hour or more, when I called the room service they told me my order is not on their list and the order taker may forgot to place it.
I've went to the Spa couple times, the staff are not welcoming neither friendly and looks like they hate their job and hate the place and like they are only there to get paid.
Jacuzzi was out of service for the two days I've stayed there, despite the information provided that's it's going to take one day only.
not bad for the price....only downside is that they do not serve alcohol
