I have been moddershall before hence why I decided to go back. First time it was amazing! It had been a while since I have been so forgot where everything was and no member of staff gave us a tour until we asked them to! This time round I found that it s not as clean as before and it s a little bit out dated! However the treatments are amazing!!

A fantastic birthday treat, well organised venue definitely recommend the treatment package of back massage and facial. A lovely lunch and the sun came out for a dip in the outdoor pool.

Food was lovely but as I reviewed a year ago, the restaurant staff attire still scruffy.The restaurant decor is dated & doesn't match the fine dining experience you're trying to create.Only my opinion but shouldn't let standards drop.

Went this evening. My sister in law booked for her birthday, on arrival were informed they couldnt find our booking told to take a seat 20 mins later the lady came over they couldnt find anything. Had to prove payment by showing bank statement, even checked bookings going forward and nothing. So payment had been taken but no booking made!!!!! Couldnt have treatment as fully booked after being ignored and treated like low life we were offered to use the facilities and get a voucher for treatments on another date!!!! Had to chase staff for table reservation time and vouchers not impressed at all ive been here loads but no where near is 5 star id usually give. Only repreave was ivan in the resturant fab service as usual

Was so lovely here . Great spa , great food & lovely staff . Had the hair therapy treatment was so lovely. Would recommend it all . Hopefully will be returning

Didn't get to go because of lockdown and still don't have email confirmation that it's been postponed but I'm sure it will come as they are usually excellent.

Lovely place to spend a few hours relaxing with my wife. Food is very good and the staff both helpful and friendly

I took my two daughters for a pre wedding chill out. Moddershall Oaks certainly did the trick. Lovely surroundings, very comfortable rooms. Staff are very attentive and plesent. Food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Love this spa and have had lovely experiences and treatments but disappointed to find that they no longer accept Spa finder wellness vouchers for treatments only just for for spa days or spa breaks.

Service brilliant, food excellent, all facilities superb. The 24hr spa experience was fantastic. The new gym is way better than it used to be with a really good range of weights and equipment. Highly recommended. Take sliders or flip flops.

Upon checking in with Sabrina the staff were amazing... we have had the the most amazing overnight spa break made even more special by a complimentary room upgrade to the bridal suite by the manageress! The staff were accommodating, personable & went the extra mile in every area of our stay! We didn t wish to have a restaurant booking in the evening & so Martin set up a lovely area in the deli for us to eat dinner in our dressing gowns. The lady in the deli who served us throughout the day & evening was so attentive. Thank you Moddershall Oaks for such a great experience & we shall be back soon!

Super food and great service. Only draw back, with the lighting the menus need to be in bold and a bit bigger print, and that's with glasses on.

I went here wed 18th nov,my 1st time at a spa but my sons fiance had been 2 many.but 1st time here.we were greeted wiv a drink.but think that depends wot u want to pay for.given towels&dressing gown ay reception.shown round.luvly guzzi&indoor pool wiv good seating area.steam room.then a outdoor heated pool wiv sauna by pool.food was luvly.i had beef briskt.then a gr8 massage by alice.theres a quiet room 4 those jus wana bit of peace 4a bit.wiv open fire.staff friendly.luvly surroundin

Enjoyed a great Christmas party with three friends, food was a high quality, hot, tasty & served quickly. DJ kept the dance floor full all night with lots of audience participation, shared a table as our group was small but great company with 6 lovely people from Alton Towers. Wonderful afternoon tea. Lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and desserts. Nice views out from the restaurant too. The service was okay, although it would have been nice to be offered a drink while we were waiting to be seated.

We had an excellent evening celebrating my birthday at Moddershall Oaks Spa. My partner booked us in for the evening package including a winter cream tea, massage and full use of the spa facilities. Staff were very welcoming, showing us More

Be careful when you go here.. you need to book in advance but make sure you say what time you want you massage or treatment.
We went with my partner for a 85 mins massage, we got there at 9:30 to find out that my partner massage was at 10 am so we were rush to get change and to go to the treatment room. They didn't have time to show us around and we could not even have our welcome drinks. I was more stress dealing with Magda the receptionist who say if we wanted to change the time of the massage we could only have 60 mins, so we pay for 85min but we can only have 60 mins if we change time. can you believe that?
And that is not all my massage was at 2pm even though we book together we had different times.. we booked lunch for 12:3 so imagen going to massage after food.

Also, I thought there were too many people around. There is only one small outdoor sauna and it was packed, like being in the tube in hot weather.
The views are beautiful English countryside and the little town which is just 15 mins riding is lovely, there is a nice pub with lake in town as well.
The whole complex is beautiful and well looked after. Which is nice.

My daughter treated me for my birthday and it's the first time I have ever been. We were booked in for the evening and a massage. It was amazing from start to finish and the young lady that did my massage was fabulous. Her name was Lyndsey and she made me feel totally at ease and relaxed as it was my first ever massage. I definitely will be visiting again . Enjoyed a very relaxing evening

New build style for wedding receptions, good food, expensive limited drink range. Good location and atmosphere. Staff helpful , nearly a 5* event/venue.

Lovely food, grand place to relax. Showers needed a thorough clean and scrub, ie, grouting and tiles slippery.

Fab spa day she places are starting to look a bit run down and the restaurant staff need a little training on customer service

Just booked up an overnight stay to spend our wedding anniversary in this amazing setting for the second time.

My wife and I visit Moddershall Oaks a couple of times a year and always have a fantastic break. The facilities are completely amazing, the staff extremely polite and helpful and did I mention the setting? Just beautiful.

A typical day for me consists of a dip in the pool, followed swiftly by a relax in the jacuzzi, then on to the treatments. After lunch (I highly recommend the venison burger) maybe a hour reading in the relaxation room followed by another swim.(remember not to swim on a full stomach kids!)

Absolute perfection. Can't wait for my next visit.

Great outdoor hot tub that had 12 of us in and still felt spacious

From arrival to departure we were made to feel very welcomed and relaxed. The staff are lovely and together with the exceptional food and treatments, my daughter's and I had a lovely day.
We shall certainly be returning in due course.

Went for lunch a couple of times. Excellent service and food.

This was my first visit here. I came for the evening spa session. Arrival was brilliant with a definate WOW factor! The receptionist was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She took us to the restaurant to fill our forms in and arranged for our complementary drinks to be brought across. After receiving our towels and robes we went into the hydro therapy pool area. We were the only ones in there however there was towels and empty (plastic) glasses lying around. There was also no cups available for us to have drinks of water. We then went to the outside pool and again there was lots of towels (There was 6 of us at this point) lying around. Worse though was the glasses around the pool and some food on the chairs and pool sides. A waiter brought a drink out to someone and we assumed he would remove the glasses/food - we were wrong! He looked at them and walked back inside. At no point during our visit were we asked if we wanted any drinks/food (which was advertised as being waited on). Overall the facilities were AMAZING but the cleanliness and overall customer service left a lot to be desired. I shall return but with lowered expectations.

I love this place, it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Excellent facilities and service. They have most certainly got it right. Return again and again as a special treat. The food is of a very good quality, the staff are well trained and obliging.

I did have a nice day here. Staff were extremely attentive, food was excellent!
However the lack of toilet roll in toilets was a let down and the bottles being dropped into a bottle bank within the reception/kitchen area was so loud it totally ruined the tranquillity of the place - spoilt the ambience completely.

Beautiful surroundings, a very relaxing overnight stay and the food is delicious. Highly recommended - such a cosy, lovely place to be.

It was a fantastic experience enjoyed everything. I went as a guest for a wedding evening reception and the only thing that I could say bad about it the drinks where very expensive.

I've been attending Moddershall Oaks spa for nearly 11 years and have enjoyed every moment.
This year my friend and I visited again, which is something we've done together for the last four years. Our visit included the overnight stay.
Both my friend and I have noticed a difference in visits together. Now the venue has taken on weddings we both feel that the spa is far too busy and isn't relaxing as before. We're gutted really and hope when we go back our relaxation time isn't spoilt by loud groups of people. The guest were pleasant but for us it wasn't the same ! The aim of going to a spa is to relax and switch off.
I understand Moddershall Oaks spa want to build and progress like any normal business would but at the same time keep your returning clients happy and ensure they're relaxed completely.
For me it was a lot better when the wedding option wasn't part of the spa!

We stayed here as overnight guests it is amazing peaceful place. Lovely to relax and unwind with all there hot tubs and spas lovely staff who are happy to help. Amazing food and service.

Very disappointing this time!
Wanted to change the date, but was told too late as it was within a week of the visit.
Very sad as this was for my birthday.
Arrived and the reception area was freezing cold and the outdoor pool was closed, we were told that they were waiting for a member of staff (male) to arrive.
Welcome drink in plastic glasses and was not told if it was alcohol or juice.
Bathrobes were tatty.
The staff weren't as professional as before, the chap that arrived was very polite and a good representation for the company.
Treatment wasn't as good as before.
I must say though "compliments to the chef" the slow cooked brisket was absolutely amazing, the service was superb and this was the best part of the day....
Other than this I enjoyed the relaxation room and the outdoor pool!..#

Pool cold and fire not lit. So could not enjoy the out doors as normal. disappointing

Lovely facilities, luxurious robes and treatments. Therapists wonderful. Loss of a star for not providing pool sliders and insufficient products in the shower so I didn't leave feeling completely clean and fab. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all empty at the end of the day and the changing room was hot and stuffy. These were the only negatives in a full day of relaxation.

Went for a champagne afternoon tea, service was good and plenty of food. However more quantity than quality, not enough choice of sandwiches too much pastry and fairly tasteless. Not great value for money we won't be rushing back

Fantastic evening the food and attention to detail were superb, would highly recommend it.

I can only review the restaurant at Moddershall Oaks as this is the only area of the spa I have experienced. It is one of our favourite restaurants in the area and has never disappointed on any visit, either for lunch or dinner. The food is sophisticated without being pretentious with sensible portions and superb quality.

I can't say thank you enough and how impressed we were! Upon arrival, we were greeted with raspberry belinis and even a card from Moddershall for our Anniversary!
The staff were amazingly courteous, helpful & kind. Wish I'd taken some of their names to mention a special thank you. The facilities were fab! Gym, indoor pools, outdoor pool, steam room, foot spa... we enjoyed them all! Been to spa days before but this was def the best! Even how relaxed we were made to feel by being encouraged to have lunch in our robes by the lake side in the sunshine!
