Very disappointed this time. Indoor pool too cold to swim in and we were there for 2 days. That's the main reason I go. My friend slipped going down the steps in to the pool and that could have been very serious. I shall not be in a rush to go back this time. I felt that the place was looking a little tired.

Recently visited to set up a Flower Wall for my client 30th Birthday Party. Lovely venue for Birthday and Wedding Party. Emmy - venue supervisor was friendly and very helpful. Perfect venue to say 'I do'.
Go there once every blue moon and have a night with a meal and treatment. Feel great day after so for me, its worth the dollar.

This is a professional service specifically designed for wedding events, with beautiful scenery surrounding great house facilities.
There are also rooms available which are also presented and serviced to a high standard.

We were here to attend a wedding, the surroundings are stunning, and the outdoor wedding went well, the weather was on our side.
We enjoyed the wedding meals, and we stayed overnight. Although the room was spacious and comfortable, on the patio there were cobwebs and dead plants which let it down slightly.
We enjoyed the following breakfast, however, we had an hour wait for lunch and the service seemed a little confused.

Great venue for wedding. Shame drinks at the bar were very expensive. Would recommend using your car boot bar.
Would have been 5*, however the changing room showers let the place down a bit. They are small and the shower areas look tired and dirty. The water wasn t hot or powerful. The female showers were out of product.
Some policies are antiquated, such as having to bring a debit card to preauthorise purchases. They do not allow entry without this. Apple or Android pay can t be used for pre authentication, so bring a card or you get sent home.
Real shame, the building is lovely. The staff are great. Could be so much better though.
A bit of a mixed experience for me and my partner. The hospitality and communication amongst staff is average. Upon calling to confirm the booking, I asked if I could have a welcome birthday message put in our room for my partner's birthday. Upon arrival there was nothing. I was told all guests receive a free bottle of prosecco... however, I mentioned we don't drink so some soft drinks were offered instead.
Again, when we arrived, this hadn't been communicated nor arranged prior. The deli area looks like a canteen in a hospital and we were made to wait over 20 minutes to fill out forms before we could be checked into our rooms. As for the spa itself, it's lovely and relaxing outside, it's nice and quiet. The massages were quite nice and the grounds are kept very clean. The biggest disappointment at Moddershall Oaks is the quality of the food. The evening meal at the restaurant was poor. Both me and my partner fell sick after eating in the restaurant and we spent half a day sleeping just to feel better. Again I called beforehand to arrange a birthday message for my partner during the evening meal, which wasn't communicated properly and they had to do it the following day. As we pre-paid for the evening meals, we only ordered water ontop which was comped free of charge, for us to then be told we had to pay on check out as it was on our tab. Communication amongst staff is an issue and I feel for the price paid at Moddershall Oaks, we expected better especially from a hospitality standpoint. Unlikely to book again.

Had a meal voucher given to us as a gift, unfortunately due to having two young children and a very busy schedule we allowed the voucher to expire by one month. We telephoned but were told that the voucher would not be honoured. This has now been resolved by Julie (guest relations manager) who was very helpful in understanding our issue. We look forward to our visit and thank Julie for her help.

Fantastic treatment and lovely facilities. My problem is mobility, staircases were a problem but I enjoyed my spa day as it is a special location.
This was our second time in Moddershall. We've booked a deal with a massage, dinner and breakfast included. At the arrival we were offered complementary drinks. We checked in and our room was beautiful. The spa area is lovely, staff was very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor pool is warm and nice. There is a sauna outside overlooking the hot tub. We tried the gym first which is small( I would have expected a bigger gym) and then went for a back massage witch was very pleasant. Dinner was my favourite part of the experience. The food was amazing. We had parfait as a starter, venison and plaice as mains, sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was all delicious. Breakfast next morning was good. The only thing I could fault were the pillows. They were to stuffed and really uncomfortable. I will definitely go back to Moddershall, next time I will take my own pillow.
We arrived on a wet miserable Sunday afternoon and ended up not moving from the fantastic spa, left rejuvenated. Thank you.

Had better outside sevices on previous visits was never asked if we would like a drink after being in the outside hot tub for 40 minutes was not impressed as it was my friends first visit as I had treated her for her birthday. Having said that we did enjoy the treatments.

Fantastic as always. We normally visit for a day or evening but as a birthday treat for my Fiance, we decided to stay overnight and the whole experience was perfect. Friendly and efficient staff, such a relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food and cocktails, what more could you ask for. Thank you for another brilliant experience.
Me&my sister stayed for 4 days.. The best 4 days of our lives. Staff were so lovely and friendly, food was divine and we felt so relaxed! Absolutely amazing and we felt covid safe also throughout our stay! 5* definitely needed! We will be back!

Friendly staffs, great facilities from hydro therapy to outdoor spa. We booked this last minute, so the only available treatment was rasul mud spa, the treatment itself was so so, but clays are top quality, it's just me and my bf aren't really sauna people.

Really bad service booked for the champagne afternoon tea didn't get the champagne. Got a cup of tea before the afternoon tea. Didn't get asked if everything was OK and didn't get the opportunity to ask anyone if we would like more drinks. Were made to feel very unwelcome and so were another couple there at the same time. Those booked in for the spar were treated very differently. Would not be recommending to anyone.

My wife and I had a fabulous afternoon tea this today. We have dined here in the evening before and always enjoyed it, so afternoon tea was something different for us. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the service excellent throughout. Afterwards we took a stroll around the beautiful gardens then enjoyed a cocktail by the picturesque pond. Highly recommended.
Loved the whole experience. Signature spa day, a 55 minute elemis melting muscle massage with an expert professional, superb facilities all at your disposal, a lovely lunch, gorgeous surroundings.
Spa room has a small pool at ambient temperature, a whirlpool with jets and power showers, a foot massage spa pool, experience shower (Caribbean rain, cool mist etc), and the heated tile loungers, and steam room. then there's the vitality pool up by reception and the bistro, sauna, and the lovely relaxation lounge. Loads of elemis testers you can use, fluffy towels fresh all day (change them when you want), and the treatment (massage) was amazing. Cant wait to try it again.

This spa knocks spots off our usual one Hoar x Hall, they instantly make you feel at home welcome, friendly, a drink given to us as soon as we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, drinks bought to us in the hot tub, or the lounge, where I instantly fell asleep by the lovely hot log fire with a blanket, felt like I was at home .
Then our room was fab, and so comfy ,amazingly clean, then we were shown our own hot tub outside our patio door AMAZING we just jumped in and relaxed with a drink talking until dinner.
The evening meal was beautiful, my daughter is pescatarian and the menu has lots to satisfy her ,desert was yummy.
Breakfast was lovely but then we were told they did a full vegetarian breakfast, well pleased.
My daughter found the spinning class and the gym were great , I slept and was waited on ,great.
So all in all a lovely relaxing couple of days, could of stayed longer but we will definitely be going again as this is now our chosen spa, oh and I forgot my daughter had a treatment she said it was fabulous really enjoyed it. Can not wait for Mothers Day !!!!!!!.

We went to an evening wedding reception here last night. What a beautiful setting and the room where the evening entertainment was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly the price of drinks though was expensive but I suppose no different from other wedding venues. The evening buffet was simple but exceptional, nothing was over cooked, chicken was moist and full of flavour, potato wedges were crispy with fluffy insides yum. Kitchen staff worked hard and so professional. Great place for any future parties or weddings in my opinion

Went just before Christmas and had a lovely day. Big enough to make this a real spa experience but small enough to feel that it was personal. My only criticisms were that we were given 1 locker to share between two and here seemed to be two different musics playing in the indoor hydro area which wasn't really very relaxing. Great manicure and a nice afternoon tea.

Staff couldn't be nicer.... lovely atmosphere....they even gave me a pair of spa flip-flops when my sandal broke !!! Would highly recommend particularly as a wedding venue we've had a great day x

Been before, great location and good facilities. Had the best back massage I've ever had, Holly did a great job. A little disappointed with the food compared to the last time, used to be at another level now it's just ok. Need to sort out the billing as well, when we settled up there were things on our tab that we hadn't had, it was soon sorted out but a bit annoying. Lovely staff, great location, will go back.
