Unfortunately a fabulous visit was let down by very poor and inattentive restaurant service. The spa itself was as fabulous as ever, with lovely staff. The restaurant food too was wonderful but the service was very poor. We waited over 40 minutes to get served, I asked for a beer 4 times before I got one, the second beer I asked for never arrived. But we will be back ASAP because everything else is superb, and last night was the first and hopefully only time we have suffered from poor restaurant service

My wife and I had a lovely, relaxing overnighter here, and not for the first time! There are plenty of opportunities to chill out. They serve you drinks in the hot tub, too! The restaurant is lovely, both for dinner and breakfast, and the rooms are comfy. The best thing?? The team seem to really want to be there. Thank you, MO team. We'll be back (unfortunately, wife and daughters first on their own, in July!!)

Very nice grounds and setting. We went for a meal last night and it was posher than the normal place we go to.
We had some vouchers for Christmas and managed to get my mom and dad to look after our two toddlers for the night.
Upon arrival we were very lucky as someone was just pulling out and got a parking spot as there is not much car parking space there.
Is it quite a walk to the restaurant down many corridors.
The staff were very welcoming and allowed us to sit down early as we got there quicker than expected. The waitress was very nice and polite.
I had the lamb and my partner had the steak. The portion size was not very big but the meal filled me up nicely.
We both ordered dessert, we both had sticky toffee pudding. It was delicious but unfortunately my partner found a hair in her pudding and did not eat the rest after finding it. She was not charged for her pudding.
This was such a shame as the rest of the night was faultless. The manager also come over and apologised. We both thought the tables were a little close together. We cannot comment on the Spa facilites as we went just for the Meal.
Thank you.

Amazing, well worth the money.

Amazing, well worth the money.
We booked in for the sweet treats spa day ( sadly missed out on the ginuary spa day)

All the staff are lovely and attentive, the hydrotherapy pool was working this time round but I still prefer the outdoor heated vitality pool (lots of people wanting to use it, maybe consider adding another?)

I look forward to visiting again soon, with all that space, maybe adding more things? I'd love a local venu that offered mud baths.

The only downside to the day, we had a gin and had to ask for it to be replaced as it had mouldy raspberries, it was promptly replaced but again there appeared to be mould on the replacement.... myself and my daughter didn't wish to cause a scene so just removed it from the glass..we understand that this can be easily overlooked.

As always the food is amazing, and I was over the moon to see goats cheese on the starter menu! I always enjoy the food there!

My 25min massage was equally as good, Elle-may was able to deal with my right hand side without making me giggle.

Spot on, cant wait to come back.
As always, didn't want to leave!

The wedding was lovely fantastic day alcohol very expensive and didn't rate the buffet especially having to take garlic bread off my plate which I had handled because they said that was children only i would not like my child to eat food that has been handled by other people!!also the veggie option was a portobello mushroom that wasn't cooked served with a bap!

Loved it. I went on my own, yes you might think a bit weird but I was made to feel very welcome. Used the gym at first, state of the art equipment, relatively small but not a problem since I was the only one in there. Food was beautiful and my cocktail :-) Fantastic facilities everything you need for a relaxing day. Can't wait until next time I need a chill out day!

Was there for my Daughters wedding. The bar and food 'service' was awful. (slow, too few staff etc) _ I had to seek out the supervisor and ask for more than one barman as the evening guests were arriving and it was taking 20 mins to get served - He tried also to tell me that they didn't have any other stocks of one particular drink and that what was in the fridges was all they had (miraculously the fridge was re-stocked later on) The bar prices are truly extortionate (above normal captive-market levels). Access to function room was not available to set up as the room was full of dirty glasses, litter, dishes etc from the previous nights wedding reception. We wanted to decorate the tables ourselves but there was no table linen available until 11.15 despite arriving at 9.30 as planned with the staff.- The same happened again the following day when access was required to take presents and belongings from the function room. On the wedding day itself, the grounds and gardens had litter and glasses from the previous wedding lying around which we cleared up ourselves as the wedding was taking place outside on the gazebo. Staff who were supervising / running the event went home early so the interim music between the bands 'sets' was not played and we experienced background silence on 3 occasions. Prior to the wedding, there was a constant battle to be able to 'taste' the chosen food items. My daughter and husband booked 2 nights there and were told after their wedding night, that they would have to pack their bags and move rooms early the next day as another wedding party was arriving that morning. To be honest, it looks like the rooms, restaurant and spa are very good albeit pricey - as for weddings and functions.... its like a daily 'production line' where 'cramming in' and gaining as much money as possible overrides and 'feeling special' for the happy couple. My Daughter & Son-in-law cleared all their wedding decorations away by 09.30 the following day, went for breakfast to be told the kitchen had closed at 9.30, so their wedding 'breakfast' was bacon butties....considering the price per-night we feel this is unacceptable (they were refunded the breakfast cost...but still unacceptable as they wanted to feel 'special and looked after') - Whilst its a nice venue setting for a wedding and the fact that my only daughters wedding was truly memorable and enjoyable, I personally wouldn't join a waiting list of years and pay the prices they charge.
