Grossly Overrated so called 5 star hotel HILTON, i think is more of a 3 star hotel instead.... things begin to get messy right from reservations. During confirmation email I asked specifically for non smoking floor & room only. The reply email say we noted your request BUT subject to availability as if this hotel is only for smokers. Upon checking in the receptionist face is like zombie, like just attended a funeral, very unhappy and reluctant to receive us. Can't feel the HILTON hospitality at all. I guess if a 5 star hotel front desk staff is unfriendly & show no genuine sense of hospitality that's a reflection of management level. Only cocky manager produced cocky staff. Entering the floor... as usual, just like most of those old and cheap hotel, mouldy carpet smell shows the building is not properly maintained. And worst thing is when next door flushed the toilet u can actually hear the flushing sound and it actually wake me up while i am sleeping!!!!
One more thing... there's no security here as the security scanner for guest to go to hotel room floors is apparently broken and not functioning at all....
So there's no element of HILTON hospitality standards here in this particular hotel.
Parking floor is full of sewerage odor....
A very obvious observation is the hotel staff do not live the Hilton hospitality spirit. U can feel that they are reluctant workers.
For the amount of money I pay... I believe we can get much better hotel and better hospitality reception nearby.... NEXT DOOR please!!!! We can forget about HILTON hospitality for good.... R.I.P
Pretty good hotel. Top notch service. Location is good.
We had a great stay here. Location was convenient for what we wanted to do. The room was well appointed and clean - beds comfy. They have a river shuttle that takes you to a main water taxi depot. The breakfast offered plenty of variety, was tasty and fresh, and offered indoor or outdoor seating. The upstairs bar also gave great views of the city. The IconSIAM next door is a great boone! We would certainly stay again!
Go only in icon Siam Siam 55555 Didn't go to Hilton
Definitely the best in the riverside zone. Amazing rooftop and chilly swimming pool
Very nice Hilton, Riverside attractions, complementary ferry to metro transit railway, spa, Grand buffet, rooftop lounge and restaurants, spectacular executive lounge, uncompromising views of the entire city, great for New Years celebrations
Amazing hotel next to the Choaprata river. You can take the hotel's shuttle boat to Saphan Taksin sky train station.
An awesome hotel for business meets.. N great quality foods.. The services are much better.. The rooms are very nice.. maintained.. The spa n rooftop bar are just awesome.. overall best place for stay.. Here in bangkok...
The high-standard feeling of the star-rated hotel, the attitude of the service center staff is kind, good-looking, and will take the initiative to ask what needs, enthusiasm, intentions, intimate, these three hearts are my impression of this hotel next to ICONMASM department store, convenient transportation It is also convenient to take a boat, which is very worthwhile
The hotel is pretty good but the price is quite expensive. More suitable for foreigners Used to stay with Thai people together, the service is not good
PLUS:
We booked a King Deluxe room for a night and we got an upgrade to a renovated room. The room was nice and offered a nice view from the 24th floor to the Chaophraya River and ICONSIAM. The shopping center can be reached within walking distance (200 meters). Nice breakfast and wide variety of dinner buffet.
MINUS:
Air-conditioner was making so much noise even with the lowest fan. This could be problematic if you can only sleep when it s quiet.
The panoramic suites are beautiful with fantastic views and the prices are quite reasonable. Well worth a night whenever you are in Bangkok.
Beautiful hotel on the river. Swimming pool sauna and gym service to move on the river.
La mia proposta in cima a Bangkok!!!
Che posto magico!!!
Elegante e maestoso,
Hotel favoloso sulla riva del fiume.
Ci siamo recati all'ultimo piano a gustare uno dei migliori cocktail di sempre.
( credo si chiami Moonhoney) .
Consiglio.
The hotel amazing the staff outstanding in the executive lounge Mme Wink very helpful. No comparison to the Hilton hotels in Europe they have to come and learn from you. Thank you for your warm welcome

Great 1st night spent in Thailand, nice big room with brilliant riverside views, we enjoyed the free shuttle boat ride across to catch a train at night... only down fall is that it is right on the river and the traffic to get there is constantly busy once you get close by
Large supermarkets . . Sweeping goods are flat.
Excellent staff, service and rooms! The executive lounge is a personal favourite with great views and free cocktails!
I have stayed at 3 Hilton properties within a month: 5 days at Hilton Sukhumvit with family (which I have reviewed also on TA), 3 days at DoubleTree on a business trip and a day at the Millennium Hilton as a solo traveller. As I stayed at the Millennium Hilton last, my review will also have lots of comparisons against the previous two Hilton properties. Location: I find the location of the Millennium Hilton to be excellent. Even though you don't have a BTS and MRT right at the door step, the view you get from the hotel room, the executive lounge as well as the rooftop bar are simply breathtaking. I loved every aspect of it. The hotel also provides a private boat that transports you to Saphan Taksin BTS every 20 minutes throughout the day, as well as a separate boat to the touristy nightmarket, Asiatique from 6pm onwards. Room: I requested for a renovated executive king room and the hotel delivered. The room was in tip top condition and seemed to be very recently touched up as there is still a smell of thinner throughout the stay, as well as throughout the walkway outside my room. I won't fault the hotel for this as that is probably part and parcel of room renovations, but do take this in mind if you have breathing issues. Bed was big and comfortable. Most toiletries are also provided. I needed a comb for my stay so a magic phone call later, a comb was promptly delivered to my room. Awesome. One bad point about the bathroom - the toilet is simply not on the same level as the awesome Japanese version found at the Hilton Sukhumvit. Even though the room has been renovated, the hotel did not seem to have upgraded the toilet - it was just a simple toilet without even a bidet. Definitely room for improvement here. Moving on to the next, the bathroom. The rainshower is just OK. Compared to the large rainshower with super strong pressure at the Hilton Sukhumvit, this does not feel very luxurious. I will rate the rain shower here the 2nd best followed by a very weak and inconsistent rain shower at the DoubleTree. The bathtub, however is where the Millennium Hilton shines. The Jacuzzi bathtub is big, clean and was very comfortable. The Hilton Sukhumvit's bathtub while big, lacks the Jacuzzi feature so it loses out to the Millennium Hilton's version for me. Breakfast: For a huge 5 star hotel, I am kind of disappointed by the breakfast offering here. The staff are very good and attentive, that's a plus point but the selection is lacking for a hotel of this caliber. Even the DoubleTree seems to offer much more variety of dishes for a much smaller hotel. Staff: I find the team at Hilton Sukhumvit to be much better in terms of hospitality, friendliness and the willingness to help compared to that of the Millennium Hilton. I've got quite a couple of not so friendly encounters with the staff here. I asked a guy manning the concierge at level 1 regarding river boats to Wat Arun in the evening around 6-7PM and he simply told me there aren't any, without a smile or courtesy. I asked the same question to the helpful ladies at the executive lounge and they gave me all the instructions I needed straight away (Sidetracking: you can take the orange flag boat at the Saphan Taksin pier and these will bring you to Wat Arun until 7PM). Asking for a taxi at the taxi/limo counter also, the staff seems to be not happy with what they are doing and are not exactly cheerful towards the guests either. I did not encounter any such unfriendly encounters at the Hilton Sukhumvit - the team there is super cheerful, approachable and are ready to assist the guests in anyway they can: from concierge, to lobby staff, to executive lounge to the breakfast staff. This is where Millennium Hilton can aim to improve to truly remain 5-stars. Even though I have some complaints above, I still truly enjoyed my stay at the Millennium Hilton. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
Clothes are casual wear. Suitable for wearing at home
Comfortable environment, friendly service, ordinary meals
Fabulous riverview room, excellent breakfast buffet included! Service is exemplary.
The service at the Millennium Hilton was not a Hilton's. This is also one of the few criticisms next to the pool area, which has a much more inviting effect on the photos. Otherwise, it offers cozy rooms, good restaurants and in the 360 Sky Bar, one or the other drinking be enjoyed. Overall, the Hilton is a recommendation for Bangkok due to its location.
The hotel is located along the Chao Phraya River.
Nice atmosphere, good service
The hotel is next to Icon siam, walk about 100 meters.
But the bathroom has no payment hose Not sure if they are all rooms?
Overall is Dee
The feeling of staying in the hotel is not satisfactory, but it is a comfortable and leisurely holiday. Unfortunately, the hardware is a bit old, and it can be felt from the interior of the elevator, the exterior wall of the building, the shower facilities, etc. The reception of the service staff is not delicate enough.
Excellent value for money to spend one or a few nights in the heart of the business district. Ask for a room at least on the 15 th floor. The location is excellent, the spacious rooms with huge windows on the buildings and the stanndard **** European. The roof top bar is definitely worth a visit. We had two connecting rooms for two adults and two teenagers. Happiness to discover this aspect of Bangkok.
We think that cospa is very good for Hilton group. It is for people crossing the river, but it is very nice to be able to eat breakfast in the open air in front of the river.
The pool is also very nice design and it is nice to be able to order cocktails on a cozy mat by the pool. However, the taste of the cocktail has room for improvement. I asked for Mojito, but I'm sorry. .
I think that the affordable price is easy to use even in the suite room.
Excellent place, super view, Service, food top. Really recommendable!
Incredibly fresh, excellent service and their beds were absolutely wonderful to sleep in!
I usually stay at Sukhumvit, but stay at Hilton in Charoen Krung
The next mall is beautiful and surprised
Nice hotel.. Relaxing just becos it's across the Chao phraya river
Slow check in and out with long waiting times. Very expensive place 2 small beers cost over 15.00 USD. The rooms are small, but have cosy beds. The infrastructure incl pool area is old. As a Hilton Gold Member I expected an upgrade, but did not get a real one. Even though Hotel was not full, I could not check in at 2 pm. Management has potential for improvement.
Excellent treatment and views and food to the room of 10
Nice hotel (among many other great hotels in the area). The view from the hotel room and / or the sky bar on the 32 floor beyond the river is what gives the experience. When choosing a hotel in this price range, there is always the possibility to take a bath after check out if your flights are late in the day.
High Tea from Flow tasted like leftover food from it's previous morning buffet. Coffee that served along with are no exception. Would be happier if served from instant coffee. Fail to standard. Please proof tasting before offering.
Stayed here for 4 nights. First night I was given a room that was very damp. It was apparently one of the old rooms and I hate to complain but I did. Then I was give another room which was freshly remodeled. I had high expectations for this hotel after reading the reviews and it started off not so great to the point I wanted to cancel my rest of the stay but they made it right.
Breakfast was good for first two days but it got old fast as they have same types of food. Liked the location of the hotel and the friendly staff. Probably consider staying here again in the future.
Elegant hotel with very good location at the river and walking distance to IconSiam the biggest mall in Thailand.
The staff is so friendly
Great hotel. Rooms are ok but not the newest. Staff very friendly, I can recommend.

Luxury accommodation, elegant hotel, next to the Chao Phraya River
We spent a delightful evening at the riverside with a delicious dinner buffet. Excellent variety and quality of food, spectacular presentation, also good wine list. good value for the money
If you are coming to Bangkok for a business trip this is a nice hotel for you. Convenient location and BTS station within walking distance. Emporium shopping mall nearby. Pool is adequate size but if you are looking for sun- baking definitely no because the roof block it off. Lounge is ok food and drinks are pretty average compared to other brand hotel. Very limited view at lounge. Staffs are friendly in general. Had breakfast at second floor. Good choices of breakfast and nice layout. Very professional staffs at restaurant. Room is good size. But shower is bit of pain as water might go anywhere and floor will be wet.
Personnel at reception was a bit unfriendly and unhelpful (compared to other nearby hotels like the Shangri-La or Oriental). Swimming pool is very tiny. In our room entrance lights and jacuzzi weren't working. Wifi login is not Hilton-Honors standard and the information about qualifying for free WiFi we got from reception was misleading.
With better hotels in the area, we won't be staying here again.
Gorgeous hotel on the Chaophraya riverfront, making it very convenient for first timers to explore Bangkok s major touristic sites by boat (there is a free boat shuttle to the main terminal and how to proceed from there is well explained at the concierge desk, which was over and over again so helpful in arranging tours or simply giving advices!), or even by taxi, since they lie close enough.
Room on the very corner of the building was comfortable with a spacious living room, and three huge windows allowing expansive views over the city and the holy touristy trinity of Grand Palace/Wat Pho/Wat Arun. Breathtaking from the first until the last minute we spent in the room, modern in decoration and updated in terms of technology.
It s also very convenient for those wanting to take a river cruise, since all boats leave from the pier right across the river, and only a 5 THB ride away from the hotel.
Breakfast was good enough, in a beautiful, airy, most spacious room, full of natural light in the morning and lovely views of the riverfront, with seatings both out and indoors, plenty of choice between Western and Eastern cuisines though the juices were canned and really horrible tasting.
The pool, though offering stunning views and very photogenic, is rather small and shallow, best suited for children.
Gorgeous Icon Siam mall is next doors though one has to actually face the broken pavement and noise and pollution and heat to get there walking, even if less than 200 meters. There is a construction on the road, making traffic pretty worse than it already generally is in Bangkok but when a Sky Train station opens near this hotel, it shall become one of the best accommodation options in Bangkok!
Flow restaurant, food is very basic, not pricey, yhuan is delicious, not expensive, if it is a member
Mediocre 5-Star hotel in a bad location of Bangkok, for tourists that is. You are locked on that side of the river and pretty screwed without transportation and even then you are screwed at Taksin bridge, which you have to cross to reach town. There is a boat service to the BTS but only in the day.
What I like about the hotel are is the views, that are different from most other hotels in town and quite nice when you get high enough. Also the rooftop bar is not well know and therefore still a nice pace to chill - opposing to other popular rooftops with a view like Vertigo, Lebua that are way overcrowded.
Since end of 2016 a huge construction site is next to the hotel. This will go on for 1-2 years. You will hardly enjoy your stay, even if they give you a room facing the other side. The pool area should have heavy construction noise. But maybe that leads to some bargain prices over the two years.
Hilton membership guests will come anyway to spend their points.
Very good option to stay in Bangkok. Exquisite service, clean room, very good location. The fantastic rooftop for a dinner
Best Hotel I have stayed in, in Bangkok staff amazing as always. Rooms is like been home beds are amazing. Food in the Christmas brunch was fabulous!! Will always stay here.
Most foreigners come to stay here next to the big mall.
The construction on the next and even taller hotel makes it noisy and spoils the toproof view a bit. Cocktails on the rooftop and at the pool on the fourth floor are worth trying. Through most annoying thing was that I had to change the card I was given to enter the room and use the elevators several times in only teo days because they did not work. Considering that the hotel has 31 floors, it's super inconvenient to get back to the reception and get new ones.
Under renovation currently, but if you are ok with that - an excellent choice. Super nice rooftop bar and restaurant, great pool area (but partially under construction still). Fantastic breakfast with a river view at the lobby level restaurant. The old rooms are bit worn out, but they will be taken care of during 2018.
This 5star hotel is everything
comfortable. But only one problem have.
In front desk employees are show you really
doubtful service . They are bad attitude, behavior for customer and not prepare for conversation with customer. That's not problem about language. Actually family mart cashier will be better than them. If someone read this message ex)senior position in Hilton, please be reconsider about service education. Employees have no intention for cconvenient service to customers.
There are a variety of dinner choices, delicious flavors, staff serving with a good smile.
Great hotel, there is a certain number of years, not very new, but overall, the price is very high, the comprehensive experience is also very good, the scenery is also good, the most characteristic is the hotel's own dock.
Good. Neat environment and next to Iconsiam, the iconic mall in Bangkok
Sky bar on the 31st floor
The left side is an outdoor bar
The right side is executive lounge
Cocktails are about 400b while relaxing over Chao Phraya
It should be not so crowded
THERE ARE GONE IN 2014 AND SAY TO EXPERIENCE WAS BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING .not I SEE THE 'TIME !!!!! RIANDARCI
