Read the reviews ! No air conditioning and the rooms are stuffy, even in March! I was told by the Mgr. to open a window, which barely opens and no air circulates. I said well you advertise air conditioning,it should be my choice when to use it no matter what month it is. Very disappointed for a Hilton! Also FYI- refrigerators are first come first serve. So if you are looking for amenities- don't stay here.

Great hotel, especially the staff they always smile and are ready and willing to help. I have visited twice and will always stay at the hotel for a weekend in the city. Bonus points for Thomas at the concierge desk- he provided just the right recommendations to enjoy the area to its fullest!

This hotel was wonderful!!! The bed slept awesome. The room was clean and the view was wonderful. The pictures on the website is just what you get or at least it was for us. I was there for a doctors appointment and when I come back I will definitely try to stay here again. The staff was very helpful and to a visitor that means alot. Thank you so much

This is a great hotel, with clean rooms and great decor. Beware of the staircase because you cannot enter it from the 32nd floor to the lobby, I believe. Here are some of my views at the Millenium, as well as a picture in the lobby.

This hotel was BOGUS! It is in need of a makeover! Bathrooms are old with patch up jobs. Beds were hard, pillows flat. We were moved to a different room because of an ant infestation. The only pro to this hotel is the location! There's a self parking lot right across the street but it's actually valet which is a plus. And its 50 bucks a day with no in/out access.
The location was in the middle of everything....this hotel would probably be great for NYE because it's right in times square

The hotel experience itself was nice. We were on the 38th floor and it offered a decent view over some skyscrapers (Note: Times Square can't be seen) The only thing that threw me off was a towel that was soiled, I had never used it and I hope that my room was the only exception.

Not like it used to be years ago, but a very convenient and clean hotel. The pillows used to be amazingly plush and now they are flat and hard. I'd stay again for business travel, but not personal travel.

I booked a superior room with a king size bed. But they gave me a standard room with a queen size bed. Rude front desk staff. Bathroom need to be refurbish! This is not a 4 star hotel should look like. Very disappointed.....

Here is the latest as an employee. Hilton just took over at this property so it will all get better. So by the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021 all will be remodeled. As a Hilton employee of 25 yrs at another property believe me they will make it happen.

We stayed December 9-12th. The hotel was clean and my room was nice. In the middle of everything (which is amazing). It was around 60 degrees during our stay (which is ok) problem is, it was around 80 degrees in our room!!! This is the reason for such a low rating. When we called down to the front desk they said it was because of the season and there wasn t anything they could do about it. They also said, crack a window lol!
So for the next 3 days we were miserable and couldn t do anything about it. Spent $1,300 to roast. Again, this was my only complaint but paying that much to literally not be able to control the most important thing to me was huge.

The only thing really nice were the door men!! Upon check in we were put in a dirty room that hadn't been cleaned yet. The doorman that brought our luggage had called and talked to a manager and got us a different room on a higher floor and told us the manager was going to waive the resort fees.. the ac didn't work and beds were uncomfortable..its def not what we expected but the view was nice of time square and location was good. Checking out they did not remove the resort fee and had to get them to fix it on the bill which they eventually did. As we were about 2 hrs down the road I seen where they went and charged my credit card manually another charge. Come to find out they went back and charged me for the resort fees.. and cant get them to fix it. Just beware!!!

Checked into this hotel this afternoon with my daughter for what was the start of my birthday weekend and a break from my chemotherap/ oncology care. I upgraded the room to avoid getting a room with no view and not sanitary (due to my low blood count). First room was disgusting. Holes in the bathroom tile, smell, soap scum on the soap dish, hair in sink, etc. I went back to the desk and requested a change. Second room, was just as filthy with dust, faucet of sink never cleaned and overall not cleaned. Attitude from the desk clerk, who refused to see the photos of the conditions or come see the room standards.

Long queue upon arrival at the elevators. Thermostat and desk lamp in the room didn't work. Maintenance arrived in 30 min, fixed thermostat but ignored desk lamp. Visible damages on furniture, based board laminate separating from the wall, base ring of sprinkler hanging out of the wall. Room had no refrigerator. On the positive side, location is excellent, and there was hot water. Also a safe.

The Bathroom had rust and the rooms where very dated. On top of that the front staff never explained to me that their " free parking" did not include any in and out. That is very poor customer service and I ended up paying for overnight parking . The guy was very rude at the counter when I told him that was not fair and I was never given those details...All he said is that the policy, Next.

This was my first experience of New York hotels, but I was not disappointed. It was clean, tidy and very comfortable with super friendly staff. The location is fantastic, less than 100M from the door to Times Sq.

Very poor service. I arrived and they don t have water in the rooms. I called Room Service for water, lady was not welcoming and said yes but I waited for two hours. Then in the corridor I happen to find another service guy on his way somewhere so I asked for water. He said they ran out of water . I m sick, I needed water to take some medication and I asked him if he could get me any water (and I ll pay for it) but I was rejected coldly.

The rooms are very old with basic furniture. They don t have USB plugs to charge my phone, and they don t have adapters as I m from overseas. My battery is always running low and made my trip very difficult.

The breakfast was good and that s about it. The location is excellent being near the Times Square.

The location is great. The concierge service is open from 7am and are v helpful. OK the decor is a bit dated, the tub is a bit small and the shower even though seems weak, does the job. The doorman complained that we used the revolving door (like the signs said) after we had been travelling for 14 hours, which I thought was quite poor and a rubbish welcome to NYC. All in all, this hotel is functional even though a little rough around the edges.

Honestly I didn't like the way that they charged us and we didn't receive any service. They charged us $28 for every single day for wifi and international calls which we didnt request and we didnt use. We didnt have refrigerator in the room and if you ask for they will charge you. Our room coffee maker was not working and they didnt change it.
The only good point about this hotel is the location. Because its exactly on times square so we were in the middle of the city, transporting was easier.

Excellent location in the Times Square area. Hotel is a bit dated though. There was no coffee machine nor ref in our room. A cabinet door needed fixing. The AC barely cooled the room and it was December! They can do a better job of cleaning the carpet too. Am not inclined to book this hotel the next time around.

The staff is very friendly! The doormen are top notch. Great advice on how to get places and food recommendations. The bad reviews have to be anomalies. Our room was clean and the a/c was cold enough. The elevators are reasonable for a hotel that size the biggest issue we had was no fridge or coffee in the room or lobby. Luckily Cranberry cafe is 100 yards up the street on 45th. Good stay, would recommend.

Great location, beautiful lobby but actual room left a lot to be desired.
My room smelled TERRIBLY. There was vomit still on the wall from a previous tenant. It seemed like even with my extremely late arrival and checkin, housekeeping did the bare minimum to clean and refresh my room.
TVs will allow you to access Netflix, room is spacious, bathroom was spacious also.

Best feature here is. Robert the concierge!! He is very knowledgeable. And extremely nice. Our room had peeling wallpaper, stains on the rug, bathroom needed caulking! Pop up did not work in tub or sink . Showed lack of maintenance!! We asked for a later checkout(1pm) instead of 11 and they wanted $25!!! Would only agree to 12 at no charge! Feel we got ripped off! Planning to call manager Monday.

Brilliant location right next to Times Square. The room we stayed in was spacious and was well looked after by the housekeeping staff. Those working at the front desk were friendly and efficient. The gym on site is small but adequate for a quick holiday workout. The only negative we experienced was a sometime longer than expected wait for a lift to arrive however this was only on a couple of occasions and was not too much of a concern.

I would definitely look to stay here again if returning to NYC.

Great hotel and the bellhops and front desks clerk had great costumer service. The worst part: The landline phones in our rooms didn't work, and parking down the street isn't preferred, but better than most hotels. The best part: This hotel is central to times square, ask the front desk for a view and you have tons of options. It was great looking down and watching people and performers. You walk out, behind the GAP, and you are centrally located. Tons of food options, tons of shopping, quarter mile to Central park and Carnegie Hall. You can walk just about everywhere and fresh taxis always outside the door to visit the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, etc.

The hotel room was old/dated and the internet connection in it was dreadful. The room had an empty cabinet where the refrigerator was supposed to be. The furniture was old wood that had been beaten up pretty badly. In general a terrible place falsely advertised by the pictures that represent it. Find another hotel for this price.

This was my first time in NYC and this stay wasn't fantastic. This hotel has a lot of classic charm and it was decently clean but it really lacked some amenities and was run down in some ways. The room was adequately sized but did not have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot or bathroom vent. There were no outlets to plug anything into except for at the base of one lamp. Speaking of the lamp, the socket was broken off and dangling by the wires. Also, the drain plug in the bathtub was broken and I could only take a shower after a long day instead of a soak like I wanted. As for the hotel in general: they messed up my reservation and my room wasn't ready until late in the afternoon and the elevators were broken so sometimes they would only go to the even numbered floors. I was on an odd numbered floor so sometimes I would have to go to an even numbered floor and take the stairs the rest of the way. This is a great American classic that desperately needs some maintenance.

My bed was hard and the room was very dated. I stay at Hilton properties frequently and I was very disappointed in this hotel. No fridge in the room and no outlets near the bed. If u want to be right next to Times Square I recommend. Other than that there are other Hilton properties in the area that are much better

The lobby is beautiful and the staff are accommodating and kind. We got to the city way earlier then expected no rooms were ready and they let us check in and checked our luggage so we didnt have to have them all day. They let us know when a room was ready for us too (since we got here so early). The rooms are nice, but the location is fantastic! Cant beat it! We walked everywhere so I dont have any review on uber or anything, but I saw taxi's in the morning in front of the hotel!

Good location. Aged. A little dingy and very little attention to detail. Dirt streaks on bathroom wall from condensation dripping down dirty walls. The floor number sign outside elevator nailed to wall with nails sticking out... Not bad, but nothing "recommendation worthy".
