Nick was very good at his job. Nick gave me an estimate of the repair; he ordered the parts and set up an appointment to fix my truck. The cost of the repair was within the estimate he gave me and the repair was done in within the timeline he estimated.

Honestly the car dealers seem completely oblivious to someone trying to buy used car, especially someone that's pre-approved for $15,000 loan. Either way my misses won't even let me go back to this place to look at a car she was so offended.

We had an emergency repair with my daughter's car ...

We had an emergency repair with my daughter's car and Robbie saved me thousands. I live 5 hours away and my daughter's car (she live in Decatur) was quickly and efficiently diagnosed and repaired. We paid for the repair from long distance and my daughter's car was running just like new. These guys are the very, very best. When she is looking for a new car, this will be the place (and probably for me as well).

About a year ago, I wrote the above post. Mike Snearly helped us out again in a wonderful effort. The ac compressor died in my daughter's car and again, long distance we needed help and Miles Chevrolet delivered. She lives in Decatur, soon she will be visiting them for a new car. With the kind of proven service I just received (4/20/2017), I am a believer. Thanks!

What can I say? Dan Karakachos did an excellent job. He went above and behind. He is patient, and understanding. He kept it with me. The deals were mind blowing!! He worked with my price range. Wish there was a 10 star because he deserve it. He got me in and out, and I recommend this place to anyone. If anyone comes here, ask for Dan K, I promise you wont be dissatisfied/disappointed. He explained everything to me about the vehicle and he didnt left nothing out.

My husband had called Miles wanting to talk to a salesman about returning our leased 2016 Traverse. My husband told Kevin Camp what we were looking for a Equinox 2018. Kevin had some in mind for us. He was a great salesperson. Kevin was very knowledgable and so very helpful. We bought a 2018 Equinox ans we love it. Carl Mendenall helped set up the extended waranty, he was very well versed in all aspects of the coverage we wanted and needed on our new car. Kevin Camp and Carl Mendenall helped make our experience easy and trouble free. I would gladly recommend Miles and Kevin Camp to everyone we know. Thanks

I had requested that a couple items be checked while the truck was being dropped off for Factory Recalls, yet neither of the two requested items were addressed. This was an opportunity to perform additional, billable services for a customer, while dealing with the hassle of recalls. Missed Opportunity as they will be repaired, elsewhere.

For many, buying a car is stressful, wishing you had a relative working in the car business. Well, at Miles Chevrolet in Decatur, Il, after buying a 2018 Malibu, dealing with Jarrod Campbell made us feel like we at least had a neighbor working in the car business. We had the feeling that Jarrod understood what service was all about: that the customer needs to leave the dealership like they paid a fair price, listened to, and treated with respect and honestly. No BS, no high-pressure, and once a decision was made or a question was answered, that was it. Now that we are the happy owners of a great car (we wanted to buy and American brand), we are looking forward to a long-term relationship with the Service Department thru the years of ownership. Oh, and by the way, when we left our garage remote in the trade-in at the dealership as we drove away in our brand new Chevy, Jarrod delivered it to our house that night. Wow, that is what a neighbor would do!

I sent Miles Chevrolet a message online regarding a vehicle I was interested in. Got a call from Destin and he was on top of it. The absolute best customer service I ve ever received at a dealership. Stayed in contact with me through the process, sent me videos of the vehicle and the finance manager found me an amazing rate. I drove 2.5 hours to pick this vehicle up and it was everything they said it was. Everyone I worked with at Miles was top notch. I can t say enough good things about these people. When looking for my next vehicle, Miles will be the first dealership I look at and I will gladly drive 2.5 hours again to work with these guys.

Cant say enough about how wonderful Miles Chevy is to buy a vehicle. They are the absolute best. I just leased a $47,000 loaded up Silverado pickup truck for under 500 a month for only 3 years!! Stephen in the finance department knows my mom and he reeeally hooked me up !! Thank you EVERYONE at Miles including Dan K my salesperson.. Very smooth transaction. Went to get an old change for my vehicle and was told the price would come to $200. I was shocked and asked how it could be so high. The man stated then that there are two other services he would like to do as well. I denied the services as they are not immediately necessary, but I didn't appreciate the approach of telling me the price and then only breaking it down once I inquired. While the oil change was happening, I walked to the dealership side. I began looking at vehicles as my lease is almost up. No one approached me or asked if I had any questions even though I saw 3 people who appeared to be free. I finally went to someone and asked about the new Trailblazer. They stated "they're sold" and he walked away. I did not appreciate the service and most likely will not be getting my next lease her.

I tried buying a pre-owned vehicle there and received one of the worst experiences ever. Not only did it take a good 30 minutes to be helped out on the lot but the salesman was rude. He paid absolutely no attention to my wife (who the car is for) and acted like he just gone back from a three day drinking binge. The alcohol was so heavy on his breath that when I asked for a different salesperson he told me that my business wasn't welcome there and I should just leave. So we did just that. After buying my last three cars there I can honestly say I will never be back for another vehicle or even service for that matter. Mike.

Caleb was our salesperson on our truck we purchased. He was very polite and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we understood how everything worked! He even paired my husband cell phone with this truck so he was all set! Would recommend Caleb and this dealership whether buying used or new. A truly wonderful experience!

I know that I did not have an appointment but thought I would give it a chance. The front driver side tire had been losing air and twice I have had a warning and filled it to the recommended 32 pounds. Again it happened that it was registering 27 pounds. I was thankful mechanics were able to fix the tire but would have like to know what was the probable cause for the continuing leakage. No one could tell me that except that they had patched the tire. That is fine, but I wanted to know if it was a nail, a screw, a crack or what was wrong and if the tire at some point needs to be replaced. This is a leased vehicle and I am trying to keep it in its best condition for either me to purchase at the end of the lease or turn in and get a new Equinox. Hope this is helpful.

Great service!! I ve been using them for my service for 6 years. I started using Miles when I had 100k already on the car. I drive a lot for work and my schedule is volatile. It s always been so easy to set an appointment and the value is shown in the longevity of my car, approaching 300k miles.

Miles Chevrolet may be the best dealership experience I have ever had! This is on top of bad experiences and sleezy salespeople.

John Stadler is THE BEST sales rep ever and was extremely helpful. I live out of state (4+ hours) and John filled every request I had including sending vehicle history, taking LOTS of additional images, bringing the vehicle to a local shop for evaluation and helped arrange everything so I was in and out in a short time.

The entire staff is really customer orientated, transparent and never did I feel like I was being taken advantage of or felt as though John only wanted to make the sale. The used car manager even came to introduce himself while I was waiting for the finance manager, Steve Ground who could have had a second career in radio. He was extremely helpful and again, transparent with the financing. More importantly he was never pushy with add-ons, just explained my options thoroughly to help me make the right decision.

I would 100% purchase a vehicle from Miles and, I 100% recommend using John Stadler as your sales rep if you are looking for a sales person that is organized, has good follow up and is extremely helpful.

Bonus - Because I came to purchase the vehicle by myself, I decided to rent a Uhaul to tow the other vehicle I drove down there home. I picked up the Uhaul and John, Jason Knecht (not even involved in the sale) and some other staff members, helped me load the other vehicle safely. I cannot express my gratitude for all of the help from Miles Chevrolet that day. I know who I will be calling if I need another vehicle.

**I only gave 4 stars for quality of work as the detail staff needs to up their game on the interior vehicle detailing. I did point out a few areas that needed to be gone over again, and John quickly got the vehicle back over to be re-detailed. However when I got the vehicle home, I needed to spend time to get the interior from 90% to 100%. Exterior looked fabulous and I would rate at 100%.**

He was able to make that price range happen and I am now a proud owner of a 2013 Chevy Equinox! He also just reached out to me today to see how my first week was with it. Great customer service!

I don't know if we're just getting off on the wron...

I don't know if we're just getting off on the wrong foot here or what but here goes my story. I just moved here from out of state and in doing so my 2013 Malibu eco, broke down. It had a lot of work done at gastorf Chevrolet, and I got it back on the 6th. On the 7th the car died again, so I took it to miles. Jason told me he wouldn't even be able to look at it til the next day, and dodged giving me a loaner. So. A new battery and $311 later, the next day, they tell me my car is good to go. My neighbor, who was a mechanic, and I went up to miles. I start the car. It still doesn't want to start. The engine light is still on. So I ask Jason why it's still on. He and another employee told me it wasn't on when they test drove it. So they look at codes. Apparently there's an issue with 2 sensors, which "may or may not" cause my car to break down again. So I ask how this happens between a test drive and me coming to pick the car up. They said it most likely had to do with the work gastorf did. Gastorf had the car from June 18th to July 6. Miles had it July 7, and this was July 8. So how was the engine light not on when the test drive took place, if the sensors were still bad? And I had to AGAIN leave my car there, over the weekend, AGAIN NO LOANER, was promised a call today about the situation, no call, they seem to really be dodging fixing my car and God forbid I bring up the warranty. Anything about how I feel I shouldn't be paying all this extra money, and we're pushing me out the door. With no car. I have medical issues, I need to be seeing doctors and things with general life. I really feel scammed and am anxiety ridden over the whole situation.

UPDATE: it is now Thursday, it's been a week since I gave the car to miles. The car has still not been touched and no calls, I have to call them, and still no loaner.

I can call any member of your service department and they are always willing to go above and beyond!! They take the time to listen to you and answer your questions to the best of their ability! They make it known that YOU are important to them. And to boot, Nick has a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks for all you do for our family oh and our car lol

Super high pressure sales. Also, the car we bought, they didn't vacuum or dust. Not real impressed.... I expected more since they knew we would be needing another car/truck in a year. I won't be buying from them, even if I end up with a Chevy. I've been to so many other places that treated me better even when i wasn't buying.

I had previously looked at a used Chevy Spark from a local used car dealer. However, the vehicle had a code displaying on the dash and would not shift beyond 3rd gear. I asked the gentlemen to have it looked at, but he refused.

So, knowing that I have always had good experiences with Bob Fraiser my husband called him and he set us up with a salesman, Jarred, who was able to get the same car 1 model year newer and new for almost the same money. He even let me pick the color :)

It was nice to get exactly what I wanted with no hassles. Thank Miles :)

Best car salesmen around...no pressure. They keep in touch with you after the sale, knowledgeable and very friendly. Service Department (Nick) is the best as well. No pressure, fast service, recommends what needs done with prices. They won't do anything until you ok it...unlike other service departments I've been to.

Although I'm open to looking at multiple brands and car manufacturers, I start looking at Miles Chevy each time. I've bought three vehicles through them (One used, two brand new), and every single time, I feel like they do what they can for me. The most recent purchase I made (A new 2016 Chevy Cruze) was amazing, as multiple people at the dealership recognized me from my last purchase a few years ago and asked how my current car was, and when they found out I was buying a new one, were genuinely interested in both what I was looking at, and why I wanted to trade up. The financial member that helped me with my original car even talked with his head manager to ensure I got the best possible deal on my next one, and made sure that when they told me a price on the phone, it was the exact same price I was signing off on and not a penny more.

If you tell Miles Chevy members exactly what you want, they will find exactly what you want or they'll help you get to it, and they won't sell you what you don't. I make it a point to tell them what colors I don't want, features I do want, and the price I'm interested in. Every time I've gotten call backs on purchases, they have never in my years of dealing with them tried to sell me outside of what I've asked for.

I highly recommend at least talking to their salespeople when looking. Even if their vehicles aren't specifically what you're after, they can get you ideas and ensure that no matter what, you'll find something you'll like, and you'll get exactly that. They won't push you outside of potentially a single call afterwards (If you do look), and beyond that, they will let you come back to them on your time, not theirs. They follow up extremely well on any purchases, and make you feel like even after the deal is done, they're still going to help you with that purchase!

Just bought a 2014 Chevy Malibu from them! It's a fantastic vehicle. Everyone was excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. They helped me with every step and explaining every detail to make sure I understood everything as well. They were out for my interests not theirs. My salesperson was Kyle, and if I am ever in the market for a car 10+ years down the road I'll think Miles Chevrolet!

My fiance and I came in not really knowing if we were going to buy a car for him. He had it arranged to meet Kyle Johnson (salesman) that helped us and was very patient with my husband. My fiance originally wanted a different car, AND even though Kyle tried to see what he could do about payments, he ended up with this beauty. Kyle was really nice, and made sure that we were taken care of. (Even after we bought the vehicle and left). A huge bonus was that there was no pressure to buying a vehicle, and Kyle answered all the questions he could. When my fiance made his decision, we meet with the finance manager Stephen Ground(not Brown. Lol). He is very friendly. He helped us save a bit of interest and we even got GAP for the vehicle. My fiance is happy with the vehicle. I will update is necessary.
