I used to hate car shopping, but if all my future experiences can be like the one I had at Heritage Hyundai I'd be a happy camper.

I'm a Florida resident working remotely in Maryland so I was already expecting a big hassle when I decided to trade in my BMW for a more reliable fully loaded Kia Optima EX, but the team at this location made sure that everything went smoothly.

1st off, they were the only dealership in a 50 mile radius to have the exact EX I was looking for. I had wasted half my afternoon at other Kia/Hyundai dealerships in the area and didn't actually get to their location until about 7pm in the evening.

Despite how late it was, my salesman Tom Hamme didn't skip a beat in showing me the car I had found online and even was honest enough to tell me I would get a better deal out of the Kia than a similarly loaded Sonata.

Because of how late it was we weren't able to complete the financing portion of the purchase, but instead of just telling me to come back the next day Tom went the extra mile and gave my the keys to the EX and said just come back sometime tomorrow to finalize everything.

I came back today during my lunch break and just needed to provide my insurance information and let them take care of the mountains of paperwork Florida requires for a purchase and I was quickly on my way.

All in all I was extremely impressed by how friendly the entire team was, how accommodating they were of my unique situation and the overall value I got for the vehicle (other dealers wanted the same price of my fully loaded EX for a base model LX).

Huge thanks to Tom and the sales and finance manager whose names I forgot!

Another great car buying experience! Jack Coco and the whole sales team were excellent. I drove 45 minutes to purchase both my cars at this dealership- it must be good!! Plus the Hyundai brand is an outstanding value and all the cars are fun to drive!

Purchased a vehicle a month ago. Enjoy the vehicle. Didn't appreciate add ons being included with no change in price but all added to the financed amount. Its playing with the numbers.

I also reached out to discuss a few things as well to adjust a few things and it seems their course of action has been to just completely ignore my calls and emails. It's really disheartening. This has been since July 19th I've yet to hear back.

What a pleasant departure from the typical new car buying experience! After visiting several Virginia dealerships, I found the car I was looking for at the right price on Heritage's website. I submitted a web inquiry and Stan Gabrovski responded to my inquiry promptly. He truly went the extra mile to provide an exceptional customer experience -- he even drove to the Greenbelt metro to pick me up when it was time to take delivery. When I arrived at Heritage Hyundai Towson, the car was everything Stan told me it would be AND MORE. We love our new Genesis, but can't wait to go back and see Stan for our next new car purchase!

However since March when I get my "NEW car" I have been in the dealer at least 3 times a week, for different situations in the car (fixed, but took long time)... The internet pricing is very misleading. It includes all possible discounts (loyalty, military, and even some BS about Louisiana hurricane survivors) which will only all apply to maybe 1% of the residents of Maryland if that. My price was about $3,000 higher than expected which is a lot on a $23k MSRP. I was told this is standard in the business which it certainly is not. Be it a Heritage, Mile One, or Hyundai rule its incredibly sneaky and misleading. The staff and experience was otherwise pleasant. I came in looking at a very nice Hyundai Elantra Sport which was impressive as was the Salesman Michael Eaves.

Talked with finance department to cancel gap insurance, they said they would send me email to get the process started. I got nothing. Another delay tactic. Very dishonesty dealership.

Purchased a Palisade a few days before Memorial weekend. On the way home from the dealership, my wife noticed scratches in the head liner which I believe occurred when they were prepping the car for sale and the door was missing a shade hook to attach the shade. When I took the car in, I was told the head liner wasn't covered under warranty because it was damaged after it was delivered. Basically accusing me of damaging the head liner and told me i would have the fix it. After I got home, I decided to return the car and my messages and emails to the sales person, sales manager and finance department were ignored. I never received a call or followup to discuss any of my issues or fix the missing shade hook.
I was referred to Mile One by a former Mile One Ops Manager and a former dealership owner, very disappointed in the experience.

I came to the dealership with two cars in mind. With Joel Bachard's help I decided on the Accent SE hatchback. Joel made this the best car buying experience I have ever had.. I enjoyed talking to him about our shared interest and birthday. I was welled taking care of there, this is a great place to go to get a car. Financing was painless not much haggeling involved. I had a great experience at Heritage! They had the car I wanted (which is hard to find - the new all electric Kona) in a great color. They were patient with my back and forth on color and brought the cars into the garage, so I could compare the 2 colors side by side - out of the rain! The pricing was the best in the area and the team was great to work with - even though they had to stay late for me! Had a terrible car buying experience in the past but this place more then made up for it. Our salesman, Tom Hamme, was helpful, courteous, knowledgeable AND NOT PUSHY AT ALL. We did a lot of the talking over email because of COVID and I walked into the dealership with an offer that did not change one penny. They were true to their word and everything was easy. We had to bring our fourteen month old monster with us and everyone in the dealership not only dealt with a kid walking around everywhere but went out of their way to be nice to us and him. Could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend Heritage Hyundai and Tom Hamme to everyone.

I love this group!!! Only dealership that made a promise and kept it Corben Mcclary was a very pleasant and honest (he saved my little diabetic life when he sugar dropped) Pablo very professional and knows what he is talking bout. Justin the man with the plan he did whatever it took to get me in a new car. Last but not least my favorite person JACK he was very friendly to my children and it made me feel more at ease knowing my erky kids wasn't getting on anyone's nerves he looked out for them with snacks and his hospitality was above and beyond ( THESE PEOPLE NEED SOME KIND OF INCENTIVE A RAISE MAYBE LOL ) I think heritage should have free snacks at least for the kids (BOB BELL Nissan does) a sales rep shouldn't have to do that . Very pleased all around with my repair service at Heritage - from the greeting when I arrived for my appointment, to the extensive consultation with Mike attempting to solve my problem, to the comforts of the waiting room. The bill was approximately what I expected. Although the repair did take longer than expected I am happy with the outcome. I have no hesitation to recommend service there.

These guys have a magic wand to pull your credit out of no where. I visited them with a secured financing arrangement with another financing institution and categorically informed them not to pull my credit as I was confident that , I will not get a rate that could better the one I already secured.Despite informing them not to pull my credit whatever the case may be, they did it. I loved the car, but felt betrayed and walked out of the deal.

Everyone worked hard to make sure I had a complete understanding of the vehicle, the process of buying and what my expectations should be for the future service of the vehicle. I recently purchased a 2013 Hyundai Accent GS from this dealership, and the buying experience was exceptional. Bruce, my sales guy, was great. There was never any pressure about making any decision, just great answers to all my questions, and great advice. I got a really good price plus some excellent discounts. My wife was at home with our daughter at the time, and Bruce even drove with me to my house so my wife could test drive the car while I waited with our daughter at home.

The entire experience was easy and stress free, and at the same time I was given a wealth of information explained to me in an easy to understand fashion, so I have no doubts that I made the right buying decisions.

I would buy from here again for sure.

Would give zero stars if possible. Test drove a car that had a used needle!!! DISGUSTING and very dangerous! I am an RN and can tell you this was not an insulin needle. Thankfully I found this and one of my young children did not. When I called back to speak to the general manager, I was told he was unavailable. When I asked who else I may speak with I was told Michael Barnes would be the appropriate person. I am finished trying to contact the appropriate people, my last name has been changed so please do not try to reach me. You deserve this review and I would encourage people to look elsewhere. Clearly they do not care and are incapable of following up with customer problems.

Stan Gabrovski !!!!! I cannot say enough about this guy. I live in PA, and went down to Maryland to deal with this guy. THAT'S how GOOD he is! I tried around my area to secure a vehicle, only to be let down and waste my time in PA. I heard about the Heritage Group of dealerships, and I found Stan. He was so helpful. It was like having your best friend helping you buy a car! He got me in the Hyundai Tuscon Sport Turbo. Stan got me the white one. Stan got me the wheels! Stan got me the financing that beat my credit union. Stan made me and my family so happy that we made the drive down to Heritage Hyundai. I drove away in my 2016 Tuscon so happy. I would insist that anyone looking for a SUV or car to please get a hold of Stan and let him do the work for you, so that you can drive away in your brand new car, without the feeling of being "taken to the cleaners!" White glove service! When you go ask for Stan, he's the best salesman that I have met in a very long time. Very knowledgeable about the cars. What impressed me the most is that he has been with the same dealership for a long time, you don't find that anymore. I dealt with him online after having a terrible experience at another dealership. Stan was very responsive to emails and matched the price I received from another dealership to gain my business. Going into the dealership, it's very clean and professional and Stan did whatever he could to make the deal go smoothly without being pushy. I will certainly come back and hopefully Stan will be there to assist.

I really enjoyed doing business with this dealership. Jack Coco was the person assisting me and he was so kind! I had been looking at Hyundai's for about six month but wanted to wait until the end of the year before purchasing. At one point, I thought waiting was a bad decision because the color combination I wanted was nowhere in Virginia but luckily we got in contact with Justin and Jack. The three hour and thirty minutes drive was worth it because they were able to get the exact car I wanted for a price I was comfortable with. I would definitely recommend Justin and Jack and give them five stars! The person that was helping with financing was okay, felt he was a bit rude to Jack that's why I gave an overall four star rating but we weren't with him long.

From the moment I walked into the dealership till the moment I left, I never once felt I was ignored or forgotten by Stan on a busy Saturday. I was comfortable during the entire purchasing (came to Heritage without family or friend) because Stan G made sure I was taken care of. He is personable and a true professional. Today, I had the opportunity to leave the Heritage Hyundai lot with my very very very first Vehicle at the age of 23, . at the a 2014 Hyundai Elantra, I am 23YO and I never owned a vehicle until now, thanks to HHT. I am more than happy, pleased and satisfied that I went to Heritage Hyundai in Towson.

this dealership even picks you up if you have no car to come and visit them for an appointment. there service is top of the line, they all so friendly, respectful, professional and look presentable.

finally, I had to wonderful opportunity to go through my first time car buying experience with their 'BEST" Sales Consultant!. BRUCE CURTIS!!!

Mr. Curtis is very funny, very calm and pleasant demeanor. He really looks out for the customers best interest. Mr. Curtis is very friendly, Honest and absolutely professional at what he does and he does it best. he is very patient and understanding and definitely knows how to deal with his customers. Mr. Curtis gives off the spirit of a friend and makes you feel welcomed instead of just another number. Mr. Curtis worked really hard for both my mother and I, he never ceased to find different way of helping us with our first time car buying experience, he was polite and respectful towards us. Mr. Curtis showed extreme confidence and knowledge in His business and products and made us absolutely comfortable!!.

Went in to buy a car from here and felt nothing but un-welcome. Talked to the sales manager and another sales person and just had attitudes all around and had no motivation to sell a car. They tried telling me that they cannot negotiate a price on the car because they have some special dealership and then the sales manager comes to negotiate a price with me. Will never go back here and will never recommend it to anyone. Terrible experience.

I have been to this dealership twice (fool me twice?), and both times, it took at least 10 minutes just to get someone to acknowledge me and to help me look at a car. Also, both times, whomever was helping me ended up getting distracted with something else in the middle of our interaction. Very unprofessional. The store itself is pretty dark and smells like cigarettes.

I recently bought a new car with them and the services I received were exceptional. My sale associate Ibrahim was very helpful and exceeded my expectations. He was really nice and very welcoming from the moment I stepped in his office to the moment of driving away with the car, as matter of fact he could definitely sold the entire show room to me if I had stayed longer. Stan Gabrovski did an excellent job asking and listening to my needs for a car. He made my first car buying experience easy and straightforward. He showed me the cars that I was interested in and gave me ample test driving time. He also explained the features of the cars and helped me compare the two SUVs that I was interested in. He was not aggressive unlike other dealers that I had encountered at other dealerships. He never pushed anything on me. Instead, he listened to me and found the version of the SUV that fit my needs. He even helped to negotiate with another dealership to get the exact Tuscan that I wanted in the same day. He ensured that I understood how to use each of the vehicle s features and helped me to set them up before I left. He also made me feel like I could call him if I had any further questions about the vehicle. I felt confident and happy driving away with my first new car purchase. My car buying experience was amazing. I actually went to another dealer prior to ending up at Heritage because it was a bit closer to my home. After experiencing a lack of responsiveness (and care for that matter) I put in a lead through Hyundai and selected Heritage in Towson. They responded right away and scheduled a convenient time for me to come in and test drive the car I wanted. It was ready and waiting when I arrived.

I fell in love with the car but the exact one I wanted had to be traded from another dealer. I worked with Matt Long to get a more than fair price for my trade and the exact packages and trim I wanted. He prepped all the paperwork over the next two days and when the vehicle arrived at the dealership all I had to do was sign everything and get a walk through of my new vehicle. The process took under an hour!

Car buying can be such a terrible experience if you don't work with the right company. I couldn't be more happier with my experience, both with Matt and everyone at the dealership. I will continue to use Heritage for my purchases in the future and I recommend you do as well. Call Matt Long - he's easy going and trust worthy.

Tom was great!! He assisted me in buying a 2017 Hyundai Elantra for a good price and low mileage. He looked out for me by getting me the best deal consisting of a low monthly payment. He made everything clear for me to understand as I was new at buying a car. I was able to drive the car off the lot the same day. I highly recommend Tom to everyone that is looking for a person that will have your back and get you a good deal!

Do not go here! They are extremely dishonest, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Here is why: I went here to buy a new elantra value edition and was super excited to buy a new car. I did my research and did all of the math based on what they were advertising before going in to make everything simple and easy. I was content with the number that was advertised so negotiation was not necessary. When it came to discussing numbers, they would not explain why their final number showed $1,000 more than mine. I did my math right in front of them and got to the same number again, I then asked them to show me how their price got to be $1,000 more than mine and they would not show or explain anything to me. The fact they would not prove why the numbers were off is false advertising. When I told the finance manager Justin Skinner this, he replied by saying "that is what everyone says". Further proving they do this to people on a daily basis. He then continued to roll his eyes at me and had a major attitude. It is the law to provide numbers, and instead of doing that he was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The way I was treated here is gut wrenching. I never complain, unless I really feel the need to. I am writing this post to spare someone else from going through this. I went to another dealership that matched my final number and bought from them. I suggest everyone else do the same unless you want to spend more money than you have to.

This would be a 5*, but being ignored after you ve purchased a vehicle is not good. First Hyundai offers a $50 gift card for a test drive which after multiple contacts via email and in person has not been honored. Hyundai says they never received the request from the dealership. Second the sales person lies about the car coming with free Bluelink multiple times. I like the car and my previous buying experience here went well. Also their service dept is wonderful.

[UPDATE] I ve updated the review to 4 stars from two. John did call and rectify the gift card issue. Nothing can be done about the false information from the sales person.

Eventhough my wife and I didn't purchase a car at this time, the dealership experience was excellent. Friendly staff and management and nice place to look at cars. Dinesh was the perfect salesman. Not too pushy, but informative and personable. Super nice guy. I'd definitely buy from him in the future.

What an absolutely amazing experience! Bear with me- this might get very detailed :)

My family and I were taken care of by Heritage Hyundai before we even set foot on the lot. We received a call on Wednesday morning from Darla Brown in Special Finance after putting in an application online. She listened to our situation and told us that she would get us into a new that same day. A few hours after this initial call, she called back and said she had a car for us that met all our financial, business, and family needs. We left for the dealership immediately to see for ourselves.

As soon as we walked to the door, it was opened by Matt Long, the sales associate we were told to meet. He gathered chairs for us all and we met with him and Mrs. Brown to discuss what they had for us. We basically needed a car with a towing package, zero money down, and cargo space for our business. They had a black 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport waiting for us in the showroom. We loved it instantly. The test drive with Matt was great. My three-year old was sold on the "Shiny" new car. And then we saw the price. We almost said no. We can't afford it. This monthly payment MUST be high. There has to be something cheaper.

Mrs. Brown sat with us and truly gave us the perspective we needed to believe we deserved this car. It's an investment she said. Our business truly does depend on having a reliable vehicle and the safety features (seven airbags!!!) would give us peace of mind when traveling with our children. "You can do this" she said. And she's right. By that time we felt like family. We felt motivated to take our business, our credit rating, our life to another level.

The dealership no longer felt intimidating. There were smiles all around. Matt was very knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, and had a great sense of humor. We know that if we ever have any questions or concerns, we can easily call Matt Long, Mrs. Brown, or anyone at this dealership and get answers, solutions. We left with a detailed, shiny new Santa Fe, a full tank of gas, and a new outlook on our future.

Thank you Heritage Hyundai for getting us on the road again!

I just applied online for a new Hyundai Palisade on a Sunday night, next day received a call from Heritage Hyundai (Ibrahim), everything was fast, excellent sales person, by Monday afternoon I was driving my New Palisade. I was not disappointed. The service team took the time to figure out exactly what was causing the car to randomly cut out. It could have been several scenarios, one more expensive than the next. They nailed it and cut the estimated charge in half by taking the time to solve the problem and not jump at the chance to "fix" it. I appreciate their patience, availability to answer questions and promptness in returning calls. Jordan is amazingly calming during a car crisis and so helpful. They have my business.

The staff as a whole, and more specifically Stan Gabrovski guided me through the process while keeping my priorities in mind. Stan focused on putting me in THE car, rather than just A car. She explained what any charges would be for so that I wouldn't be taken by surprise when the bill came and I appreciated that very much. She is an amazing employee that the Hyundai dealership has.
