Dr. Yanke was great as was the entire Midwest Orthopedics at Rush organization. I was able to see Dr. Yanke, go right downstairs where they immediately fit me in for an MRI, and then they fit me in again right away to discuss the MRI results with Dr. Yanke.
Had hip surgery with Dr. Nho, him and his staff have been wonderful in helping through the process and recovery!
I felt extremely dismissed by Dr. Singh. It felt like nothing I brought up mattered and all symptoms were downplayed. Before they even saw my CT myelogram images, they already pushed physical therapy. I mentioned PT has not been working. I'm not one to run to the doctor's for no reason, have debilitating symptoms, but none of what I said made a difference. Felt rushed out of the office as well. Looking at his credentials, I really looked forward to meeting him, but was disappointed.
I had a very good experience! Dr Bruene was very kind, thorough and on time. She was able to figure out the issue and come up with several options for treatment with a list of pro and cons for each. I would highly recommend Dr Bruene!

I have seen Dr Nho for Fai impingement surgery as he is one if not the top rated doctor in the country for this condition. My surgery was successful and I have returned to my normal work and activities which without the surgery I would have been looking at total hip replacement

Dr. Colman is Awesome! He is so Compassionate & a VERY SKILLED Surgeon. I had a very large Lipoma Mass that was growing out of my deltoid & shoulder area....it kept growing more each year. I've been suffering with this for several years & I've reconciled myself to living with the pain because I had consulted with a few other orthopedic surgeons & they said they wouldn't touch it. BUT Dr. Colman was highly recommended to me & thankfully he agreed to meet me & fit me into his busy schedule... he reviewed my chart & said that he'd be able to remove it...He didn't want me to be in pain anymore. Wow, Great News. I had Hope! I felt comfortable with him & Trusted Him. Dr. Colman treated me like a person he cared about, great eye contact & patiently answered my million questions. He has amazing credentials & skill And I am so Blessed that he was successful in removing my large Lipoma ...I had minimal incision & * had little pain after & during recovery, even went home a few hours after surgery. I was referred to Rush Orthopedics from my PCP. Doctor Hamid was able to see me without a couple days of requesting an appointment. I met with doctor Hamid and his PA team and have a very informative discussion regarding my injury and treatment options. The in-person meeting was followed up with a very educational phone call with one of a doctor Hamid s PAs, and a scheduled my surgery. Overall my experience with Rush Orthopedics and doctor Hamid has been very positive.
Only useful if you're interested in orthopedic surgery. Fractured my L2 at 19 two years ago. Dr. Singh only spent a few minutes telling me I would be fine with appropriate therapy... with no referral. Two years later, I am still in pain, contacting them for a copy of my MRI. I have been waiting for two weeks - still no MRI. My tennis ball has helped relieve my pain more than Rush has... Seek care elsewhere, especially if you're experiencing back pain at a young age.
Dr Verma and his PA s and staff are friendly and thorough. I have had some difficulty with my recover and they have done everything to help me feel better. The facilities I have visited are all clean and friendly staffed. Would highly recommend!

Dr. DeLaValle is the finest orthopedic surgeon I have had the good fortune to meet. His program for hip replacement is totally comprehensive and I could not be more happy with the results. I never even notice the replacement and seldom even think about it. You will not find a nicer gentleman or a better surgeon.

Dr. Frank Phillips is the best of the best! He was very kind and patient with my elderly father during his consultation visit on January 29th for spinal stenosis, which meant a TON after my dad had recently experienced two unsuccessful spinal injections for pain via an Advocate Medical physician. Dr. Phillips listened intently to my dad s concerns and provided an explanation of the current state of his condition using terms easy to understand without being condescending. In addition, since my dad s insurance is not in the Rush network, Dr. Phillips went above and beyond to recommend a highly qualified pain specialist within my dad s insurance network, giving my dad a measure of hope at the end of the visit.
My first time visit at Midwest Orthopaedics was a pleasant one. The parking was close to my appointment as I opted to not use valet. Upon entering I was welcomed by the information attendant who directed me to my destination. Once I arrived for my appointment the reception attendants were all professionally assisting others. My appointment time was honored and I was treated courteously and patiently. Never rushed. I was informed of a timely solution to my ailment which was followed by visits of an administrative assistant and further information and contact information was given. Excellent services were rendered.

This place is unlike any other I have seen, the staff is great, and the doctors are absolutely amazing. Dr. Nicholson gave me my life back when doctors around where I live gave up on me. Outstanding.
Very friendly and quick check-in Service. The X-Ray process was quick, within 10 minutes I was ready to be examined. The X-Ray Technician was very nice and welcoming. I went in to have my right knee examined, first time here. Doctor Yanke was very professional, and explained to me in detail my condition and my options. His assistant was also very professional and friendly (sorry forgot his name). The only thing I wish I could have obtained was a print out of my summary. The check-out rep said they do not provide summaries or notes. Reason I asked was because I wanted to remember the medical term for my condition, as well as provide a copy for my workplace. Overall, great facility, oh and parking was $23, not if there s a discount for patients. I know at U of I You pay approximately $6 for parking for patients and visitors.

I made a big mistake in choosing midwest ortho and, more specifically, Dr. bernard bach to handle my orthopaedic needs. I filed an official complaint against Dr. bach following a visit with him during which he verbally and physical harmed me and have yet to receive a response. It's been over a year since that complaint was filed. You would think that multiple $60k surgeries with this medical group would afford me a simple response. Guess I assumed too much.
BOTTOM LINE, DONT GO TO MIDWEST ORTHO
My experience with Dr. Fernandez, and the entire staff of Midwest Orthopedics at Rush was amazing. As a patient, I appreciate a top notch physician who is straight forward and detailed in explaining the issues at hand. Dr. Fernandez impressed me with his approach and demeanor the entire way. I will only be going here for any future treatment that my condition requires.
Dr. Della Valle has a GREAT bedside manner and seems to be a great teacher to the Ortho Fellows or residents.

Had both shoulders replaced by Dr. Nicholson. He did a fantastic job, it was in truth, so much better than I even hoped for. Be advised, he is VERY much in demand, so you'll only see him in the office. His excellent staff will do follow-up care in hospital. We live in Joliet, so I did P.T. near home. I had the best experience I've ever had with this surgeon, and I have had more than ten (for different things).

Dr Wysocki, hand specialist, has done my trigger finger surgery on 3 different fingers at 3 separate times. My hands are at 100% after all 3 surgeries. Highly recommended.
Once again Midwest orthopedics is in my opinion a top-of-the-line orthopedic center I have come here in the past with wrist issues. And now I came here for neck and shoulder issues Dr. Nicholson is very straightforward into the point and assured me I will feel a hell of a lot better when we are done. Can t say enough about this please they are like a well oiled machine I was able to get x-rayed and an MRI in the same day and I pointed in the right direction with medicine and physical therapy within two days I had about a phone call about the results of my MRI and it further plan of action. I would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Nicholson to anybody with Orthopedic issues
The office is very well run, with personable, friendly staff and health professionals. I've been a few times, with minimal wait time each visit. Both doctors I've seen listened to my concerns, engaged in conversation regarding the reason for my visit and explained things thoroughly.

Dr Goldberg did a laminectomy and a fusion on my lower back. He did an amazing job! After the first 10 days or so, I could feel improvement about every other day. Before 6 weeks was up, I could easily walk 5 miles, when before the surgery, 3 blocks was about all I could manage.
Dr. Singh I was very pleased I choose you as my surgeon. The immediate goal of the operation was complete from the first day. My nubmness that was preventing me from walking or standing was gone from day. I could not believe it!!

In 2011, Dr. Cohen performed a right wrist athroscopy to help relieve all the issues I was having. He was extremely thorough and explained everything in great detail. Since the surgery I have not had much pain. I had a surgery on my knee in 2016 at another doctors office, and I have had nothing but problems since. I am seeing Dr. Forsythe to fix the problem, and I feel so much more confident about this surgery than I ever did about my previous knee surgery. I will always choose Midwest Orthopaedics for my injuries from now on.

I have nothing but praise for Midwest Orthopaedics at rush. I am currently seeing Dr. Cole and have been very impressed with his approach to a shoulder injury I have. Rather than jumping into surgery he is suggesting a non surgical approach using six sessions of physical therapy, with a follow-up exam post therapy.
Dr Hamid is a very kind and knowledged doctor. He takes his time with you, answers all your questions, has a wonderful bed side manner (unlike my previous orthopedic doctor). I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of an orthopedic doctor.

Midwest Ortho is the best hospital affiliated practice I ve experienced. Among other good things, it has great physicians, is extremely organized, provides convenient and almost immediate imaging services, and does not leave patients waiting to be seen.

Three weeks ago I had a right knee revision as an out- patient. After three weeks, I'm moving around without any assistance; no pain; and more grace than I've had over the last seven years.
Dr.Cole is very accessible and will answer questions you have about your surgery or other concerns.
My husband and I have always trusted the doctor's here. We have been coming here since 2000 when my husband had ACL surgery and a high tibial osteotomy in order to fix the first surgeon's mistake, thank goodness for Dr. Cole, as well as, Dr. Lee who is treating me at the present time. Both are excellent doctor's.
My initial visit with Dr. Singh was informative and very professional. Dr. Singh and his PA, Patrick took much time with me to explain what was needed to correct my spine issue. I prefer not going to new doctors, but, when I broke my ankle I had to seek out someone who understood that I needed to heal and get back to my active lifestyle. Of course, it was a whole new experience because I have never had a broken bone.
I was able to get an appointment very early the next day after I broke my ankle. Dr. Lin walked in, listened to what happened and proceeded to explain the plan.
