Shattered ankle... after several opinions, I trusted Dr Joel Williams to put these bones back together. Several months on, I am doing well. The wounds healed well and activity improves slowly and carefully. I was on verge of having spine surgery a year ago for something that I didn t have any symptoms other than showing up on an MRI for some other problem unrelated. I was unsure of the Dr. at the time and decided to get a second opinion. I went with Dr. Coleman at Rush and he thought that it was something that could wait and we did. He did help me with my original issue and I feel good again. Fast forward 8 months, I just had my follow up with another MRI and appointment with Dr. Coleman and surgery is not in my future. What a relief! If I went with the 1st opinion I would have had a needless surgery and risked complications that were not worth it. Always get a second opinion! In fact, Midwest Orthopedics at Rush will be my 1st choice when it comes to any specialized orthopedic care.

Been through prior surgery before wasn't a good outcome with prior orthpedicsurgeon was very very painful. Dr.Lin surgery was very much less painful after procedure . I was very afraid to have the same surgery to have hardware such as metal plate and 8 screws removed from my foot .Would recommend Dr.Lin for anyone else for a good orthopedic surgeon for your existing problems in this field. Prompt, efficient, professional service. From sign-in to departure, these folks are a fine-tuned machine. Dr. Rosenberg is as highly-skilled as they come, and he takes as much time as is necessary to answer any questions.

Mark Cohen is a true professional. Along with his staff, he has corrected the carpal tunnel issue on both my wrists and most recently removed two cysts on my hand. I have been treated with the utmost care and respect and consider him one of the best medical professionals I have had occasion to deal with. As a side note to all time strapped people like myself, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes from the scheduled time of my appointment to see he or a member of his staff.

Dr.Gerlinger and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable and extremely caring. I highly recommend him and his practice.

The most efficient office and professional group of Doctors and staff I have ever witnessed. Dr. Verma and his PA's are outstanding and highly competent.
I wouldn't go anywhere else after having a successful rotator cuff - bicep surgery performed by Dr. Verma. In fact, I'm getting the other shoulder checked out now.

The doctor was very nice and I didn t have a problem with him but I really don t think he took my situation very serious I am still having the same problem and I really Didn t get a understanding of what my next step would be or what is causing my problem he just gave me some devices to put in my shoes would appreciate a more thorough understanding and explanation of what is causing my problem and what I need to do to get rid of the problem not just give me a bandage

Felt very comfortable during my procedure. Dr. Best was excellent at explaining everything he was doing. He also answered my questions in a way I could understsnd.

Dr. Brian Cole is the best ortho for knees and shoulders. He answered all my questions and concerns. His PAs always responded promptly when I had a question about my postoperative care. His surgicenter in Muenster is very impressive. He has a large team taking care of patents pre- and post-op. They also were very kind and answered my questions or concerns. If you are looking to have knee or shoulder surgery, Dr. Cole is the best choice. Thanks, Doc! It's awesome to be able to ascend and descend stairs like a big girl and not a toddler. LOL!

Dr. Leda Ghannad is one of the best specialists I've ever seen. She took my concerns seriously and worked with me to establish a clear, effective treatment plan to ensure that the pain would not return and to enable me to return to my normal life and daily activities. My shoulder pain was at a 10 at the beginning of my appointment and after seeing Dr. Ghannad, I left the facility completely pain free! Not only is Dr. Ghannad a superb doctor but her staff is polite and they place a high importance on timeliness. I highly recommend Dr. Ghannad to anyone experiencing severe shoulder and/or joint pain.

A close friend recommended I see Dr. Weber for a possible tear in my rotator cuff. I brought a copy of my MRI and she took time to explain everything she saw and in the end recommended more PT, which relieved me. I am not wild about cortisone or surgery. While I have just begun my PT with exercise recommended rations for. Dr. Weber, I feel despite the outcome I am in very good hands!!!!

He was Very through when explaining all the options I had. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Bam performed a total right hip replacement for me. I could not be happier. I am back to normal and would highly recommend him.

Dr Gerlinger is the best when it comes to knee replacements. I had a total knee replacement done 5 days ago and have not experienced any severe pain. I credit his minimally invasive procedure for the lack of pain after my surgery. Thanks Doc!

I was impressed with the total Midwest environment on my first visit with Dr. Gerlinger.
The receptionist, the X-ray techs and Dr. Gerlinger's staff were friendly and professional.
The pre-op meeting was informative. I knew what to expect from the day of surgery to my release from the hospital. My in home PT started immediately for three weeks, three times a week.
My post-op visit went well. I'm driving, walking without assistance and getting ready for my "outside" therapy.
Dr. Gerlinger did a terrific job on my right knee.
I'm scheduling my left knee for January.
I'll be totally ready for spring gardening!

As patient of Dr. kern Singh, I feel very happy with the result of the surgery. Dr. Singh separated the disk of my neck by putting titanium plates. My surgery had no complication. It was an excellent surgery.
During my recovery, Dr. Singh made me feel in a reliable environment where my health was in professional hands. Showing sensitivity when they share information in my language, very attentive to evaluate the progress of the surgery with frequent appointments, texts, giving the appropriate treatment, and communication with the nurse.

Despite the understandable business of the practice, it works like a well oiled machine. Everyone, especially Dr. Bolmgren and his Associate, provide the finest care.

My husband saw Dr Singh as a second opinion after receiving treatment from another physician for over a year without results. Dr Singh gave us hope that there truly is a light at the end of this tunnel! We appreciate him and his colleague, Patrick, for their commitment to helping others!

My experience was pretty good, but could have been better. Dr. Nicholson didn't really come in and "talk" to me. He came in with a physical therapist, didn't ask me any questions, did some quick manipulations, told me his diagnosis, gave me a prescription, told me to make a follow-up appointment, and left. His assistant who came in before him at least talked to me and and asked how I injured myself. I left not really understanding my injury and why it occurred. But, I am still thankful I didn't need surgery for now.

I've been seeing Dr. Nho for the past year, after complications from a previous surgery with another surgeon. I've been living with chronic pain with this hip issue since I was 17 and I'm now 26. I've seen countless doctors and none of them have compared to the level of care I receive here at Rush. Dr. Nho listens to my concerns, never judges me, and spends as much time with me as I need. He has never tried to push surgery and is trying every conservative method to help my pain AND figure out the source of it. I know I'm a complicated case but he hasn't made me feel like it's my burden to carry alone. I can tell he really cares about the outcome of his patients.

The care i have received to date has been great. After Dr. Hamid diagnosed my injury he explained it to me in detail. He advised that i should have had the surgery in closer proximity to my injury. As a result, he scheduled me for a procedure the next day so i wouldn't have to wait until he returned from his conference!

I really appreciate his consideration and professionalism. As i was writing this response i received a call from a nurse, to check on me.Top class in my book!

I had a hip arthroscopic surgery with Dr Nho for a labral tear, FAI, hip dysphasia, torn cartilage & a bit of arthritis. My surgery went so well. I was off pain meds on day 2. The scars are so small considering the amount of repair needed. I highly recommend Dr Nho. Feeling much better 3 months after, still doing PT for strength.

Dr. Fernandez is an outstanding physician and great person. If you have any problems at all with your wrists or hands, Dr. Fernandez is the physician you need to see.

Dr. Verma and his PA, Katie were great! Friendly and professional. We did not feel rushed and all questions were answered. We felt very comfortable being in such knowledgeable hands.

I was referred here by my primary doctor. I dislocated my shoulder and tore my rotator cuff. Dr Bush Joseph was the surgeon who ultimately repaired the tear. Prior to recommending surgery he referred me to rehab in hopes that the tear would not need surgery but the tear was severe.

He also was very honest in explaining that smoking reduced the chances of successful repair and no matter what the success rate due to the nature of tears is not 100 percent.

Post surgery I was referred back to rehab and then after rehab was told if I wanted to get back to 100% normal to continue the exercises at home. I was very pleased with his professionalism and down to earth interaction with me. He was genuinely concerned and listened to my questions and answered them in layman terminology.

I have had no problems what so ever with my shoulder

Organized and efficient. Unfortunately so efficient I spent a grand total of three minutes with the doctor. I said I know he can't prescribe pain meds, but because I'm in so much pain I am having trouble sleeping I asked the doctor if the joint could at least be drained to relieve the pressure from the massive amount of fluid buildup. He politely said he was not going to do that and I would have to deal with the pain until my next visit. Gee, thanks.
So now I have to go back in a few days for an MRI, then have to go back again a few days after that to have an MRI consultation. When asked if I could do both in one visit they laughed and said "that's not how it works here".
Overall everyone was decent and helpful, but I've never felt more like a number that a patient at a healthcare setting in my life.

Dr. Holmes is a very kind and detailed physician. After seeing 2 other physicians Dr. Holmes was the one to correctly diagnose my issue.

If you are unfortunate enough to have neck, back, or spinal related problems, Dr. Singh is the surgeon that you should see. He is a highly skilled expert in his field of expertise. Furthermore, his interpersonal style puts you at ease as you discuss your concerns. Unlike some surgeons he exhausts all options prior to recommending surgery. I have been fortunate to benefit from his services.

Dr Rosenberg is the very BEST hip doctor. I was 34 when i had my hip done from a martial art injury. I was a police swat operator and he was the only doctor I found that told me he will get me back to work. 20 years later my hip is still in tact and fantastic. Im retired now and still bike 26 miles once a week, roller blade and walk 4 miles.

My personal experience with Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph and his staff has been amazing. From the first day I visit Dr. Bush, I learned quickly my right knee condition and immediately was set up for surgery. Two days after surgery I meet with my amazing doctor and he mobilized my leg to a 90 degree position. That was incredible. The next step was to quickly attend physical therapy. My quick recuperation is thanks to the professional procedure Dr. Bush performed and the amazing PT staff.
I will always be grateful to Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph and Midwest Orthopedics staff.

Dr Cole is a great dr. The time you spend waiting to see him is horrible.

I've had both my knees replaced. Dr. Berger performed the surgery on my right knee and my left knee was replaced by a different surgeon. I can say from personal experience that Dr. Berger's procedure was far easier to recover from. With my left knee it was months before I could sleep on my back in bed to be able to use my CPAP machine. After Dr. Berger's surgery I was sleeping on my back and using my CPAP from the first night I got home.

Absolutely the best experience with a doctor I've ever had. Very informative and willing to take time to answer my questions.

4th time coming and ive had enough. Awful customer service, shoutout to Julie. Have gotten two surgeries done through this place and they wouldn t budge over 5 minutes and here s why. I Called the let them know I d be late by 20 minutes and they canceled my appointment over 5 minutes since they only allow 15 minutes or late patients. I Had already been driving for over an hour to come to this well respected establishment and they would not budge over 5 minutes. And so she Told me that the doctor would have seen me at exactly 2:30 when my appointment was. And that being 20 minutes late would mess up the doctors afternoon too much. And so I asked if there were patients in the waiting room to which she first said no then told me yes after after I asked a second time. The only thing she offered was for me to show up and fill out paperwork and reschedule. Didn t even say we can see how busy things are when you get here....

Dr. Rosenburg did my L hip surgery 13 years ago. Even though he is not doing surgeries anymore I still went to him. I also love the nurse Reggie who works with him.

Dr. Kogan and her staff are AWESOME!! Dr. Kogan is soooo caring and understanding and I ABSOLUTELY love her sense of humor and how she takes the time to personally interact and converse with her patients and whomever accompanies the patient! I also LOVE how your wait time is very limited..they get you in and out in a reasonable time!!! I definitely recommend Dr. Kogan!!!

Dr. Garrigues was highly recommended by my physical therapist when my therapy was at a plateau. My therapist sent an email with a progress note regarding my conditions and before I left my therapy appointment Melissa from Dr. Garrigues' office had left a voicemail for me to schedule an appointment .

I was very impressed with the ease of getting scheduled for an appointment and when I finally arrived and met Dr. Garrigues I was not disappointed. I have complete faith in his abilities and his experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Garrigues for any shoulder problems!!

I was referred to Dr. Fernandez by my attorney and thank the Lord for him making it happen.

I had a torn bicep that had just been repaired, but unfortunately in came undone along with severe nerve damage caused from the first surgery. So I was sent to Dr. Fernandez for a second opinion. Well right away Dr. Fernandez and his crew came to me with solutions! Dr. Fernandez is very personable and authentic! I've never felt so comfortable before dealing with a Dr. (Unfortunately I've seen many other Dr's) Dr. Fernandez explained in great detail of what needed to be done and these types of revisions are not the easiest; especially when dealing with nerve damage on top of the bicep tendon needing to be re-attached. So with out hesitation I agreed with Dr. Fernandez and his staff on getting the revision done by him.
As the process started everyone at RUSH was so professional and caring. They definitely weren't messing around. They took great care of me. Before I even knew it I was out of surgery with a successful outcome. I have seen Dr. Fernandez several times for follow ups and not only did Dr. Fernandez meet with me, his PT was there also to be sure any of my concerns were answered. Truly from the heart hands down Dr. Fernandez @RUSH is amazing, professional and honest. I would like to share my incredible story as to how I fell in the care Dr. Mark Cohen.
Last year I was seen by Doctor (unnamed) in Downers Grove who was to be considered a Orthopedic specialist. Well that wasn t so. I wasn t only treated as a number while visiting her office but was told I needed Emergency surgery on my right wrist. I was scared and in shock. Especially after she told me I would lose 30% mobility. That s not what you want to hear in your thirties. I decided to research a reputable Doctor and came across Dr. Cohens profile. As I read about his credentials and many positive reviews I knew I was in good hands. I would highly recommend him. He evaluated me well as a patient and ordered the proper X-rays to determine a solution without surgery. It s been a pleasant experience knowing there are genuine educated Doctors out there that you could still trust and that aren t only interested in exhausting your insurance benefits. Dr Cohen is a phenomenal Orthopedic specialist.

My experience with Dr. Holmes at Midwest Orthopedics was nothing short of exemplary.

Dr. Holmes and his staff go above and beyond to take care of their patients. While many doctors are experts in their field, it takes a special kind of doctor to communicate with true empathy for their patients.

My mother went to Dr. Levine for a second opinion when her original hip replacement dislocated four times when done at another University (out of state). Upon meeting with Dr. Levine, he explained the why behind her dislocations, a few possible strategies and what his preference would be for her right hip revision. Dr Levine s diagnosis and surgical revision solution gave us confidence; he did not rush us out the door, kept asking if she had any more questions, etc. In all, we were extremely impressed from the consult through the surgery to post surgical care. Yesterday we had her post-surgical 6 week appointment and she is doing fantastic! Thank you to Dr Levine and his support staff; we highly recommend!

Dr.Fetzer was very helpful in my case. She was very patient with all my questions, and answered everyone. Unlike all the other doctors I have seen, all they do is push for surgery. She is a doctor that smiles to, which is refreshing to say the least. Most doctors have this smutt grim on there faces like we're waisting their time. All in all I would definitely refer Dr. Fetzer to anyone, she knows her stuff and is willing to help.

Great experience with Dr. Joel Williams and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Came in for pain in my hip, diagnosed with osteoarthritis and recommended to lose at least 15 pounds to reduce possible complications during or after surgery, ended up losing 30 the healthly way over 3 and a half months. Had my surgery at Advocate Illinois Masonic with Dr. Williams and did have a complication and stayed in hospital 1 day. Was able to walk hours after surgery and have been home having PT the past couple of weeks. I feel great and would highly recommend Dr. Williams and his team. If you are in pain, dont wait, get it checked!

I came to see Dr Jacobs for a consultation. He and his assistant Laura were exceptionally generous with their time. They patiently answered all of our questions and inspired great confidence regarding potential treatment options. I would highly recommend them.
