Seaquarium is quite outdated - interactive panel with small light bulbs and buttons. Water tanks with animals are dirty, you can't see animals clearly. Sea aquarium doesn't recollect seafloor, very poor in comparison with other seaquariums for example in Dubai.

But shows with animals are interesting, schedule of show is wisely planned, you have enough to move to another show and see something meanwhile.

They have stupid rules for strollers even in off season when capacity is filled up to 30%, so that I had to miss half of killer whale show.

Some vending machines are not serviced very often so they don't have enough supply of soda and coins.

I saw killer whale show and dolphins show in addition to that I saw flamingos, fishes, octopuses, sea lions inside. The staff was good that they even after we were late by few minutes when they came to know we were from India. I was you touched.

Shove the owners in a broom closet for forty years and watch as they're forced to do tricks. It would be more entertaining and more worth the money. Free Lolita and if you're thinking of going here go on youtube and watch the documentary about her specifically. While you're at it, go watch Blackfish. I can't wait until places like this go under, and as much as I feel for the minimum wage workers and trainers who can't do anything about the treatment standards, I hope this place is shut down soon, and I can't wait for Palace Entertainment to go under.

You get what you pay for, this ain't no Seaworld. Between parking and going through the park, it took me about 3 hours at an ultra slow pace. Would I visit again? No. Would I recommend this place to my family and friends? No. This place is short of aesthetically depressing with not one thrilling show.

This is a cruel and horrible place. It should be immediately shut down and the animals returned to the wild or a better, more humane location. The living conditions of the animals is absolutely horrendous. It's like some 3rd world zoo. I can't believe people still go here.

We had a great experience at the coral reef underwater tour! Nick, Shannon and Jimmy were amazing guides! They were patient, answered our questions and totally made the experience unforgettable! Thank you

It was really over price for what they had to offer. There was not much going on show . Their excuse was "the animal do want to participate". The tanks wasn't clean, sad the all the fishes and mammals there. Will not recommend this place to friends or others. So sad. $52 with taxes person.

It was ok, but definitely they need to make upgrades. For the price they charge in tickets is not worth it. The food is expensive but really bad, if you are planning to come please bring your own food especially for the kids I hope the management of the Seaquarium consider this reviews, is sad to see this place now, I remembered thr first time I came, like 10 years ago, it was cool; now is just a mess. Sorry if it sounds rude but it's the true!

Pretty depressing place if you're not a kid. The Killer Whale lives in a space that's way too small and the water in every tank is murky as hell. This place needs to get it's ish together.

Place is very old and damaged. Half of rides and animal attractions were closed. Ones that were open are damaged and dirty. Last time going here, I would guess this place will close in next few years.

Pretty sad place. The place looks old and not very well maintained. The shows were alright, but way too much money for what they offer. I went to the Monterey Seaquarium earlier this year and was awesome

Some of the exhibits are dirty and the interactive learning from the exhibits don't work. But there park is clean and its good family fun. The only hands on exhibit we saw is the sting ray... Wish there were more. The ticket price also seems pricey for what you get.

People need to spend 5 minutes educating themselves about the terrible conditions Lolita (the Killer Whale) is living in - we have no business keeping killer whales in captivity. She should be returned to her family - spokespeople for the 'entertainment' industry are banking on the fact that we won't educate ourselves and make the decision to not buy a ticket! My 5 year old's reaction is - but where is their Mummy? We teach kids that captivity is okay - instinctively, they know it's wrong.

I can NOT believe all the good reviews on here. They must be FAKE. You think seaworld is bad watching black fish? This place is a DUMP. They have an extremely high death rate of all their animals. Let s start with Lolita, the Orca! How can you compare this tank ( mind you it s against the law of how small it is) which is surrounded by concrete, to wild orcas swimming thousand apon thousands a miles a day? You can t! The Orca before her?? The Orca before her continuously bashed its head against the wall repeatedly to ends its life. Who knows how much longer poor Lolita , the lonely Orca has left. Wouldn t you rather her take the chance to survive out in the wild or just continue to suffer? Would you want to live in a bath tub? Orcas like to hunt for food such as sea lions. You know how Lolita eats? But doing a trick to entertain you , and it s chump food.
Sad , just sad.

I had a wonderful time visiting the Miami Seaquarium, lots of cute sea animals, but our favorite was seeing the dolphins up close by the windows. What a treat that was! You typically only get to see fishes, but there were about 3 of them and they swam around and were SO cute!! The shows were also really good, very entertaining.

I personally think that the Miami Sequarium is completely over rated. The amount of shows does not reciprocate the amount of money that parents pay in order to enjoy. The food is completely unhealthy and super expensive.

I took my daughter's for Easter egg hunt and consider that it was way to expensive for the amount of shows and games that were available that day.

Most fun I ever had!

Most fun I ever had!
We visited while on vacation. One thing we have always wanted to do was swim with dolphins- we decided to book the experiences called Dolphin Odyssey on my nieces birthday. We started the day by watching the dolphin and whale shows which were absolutely amazing, breathtaking, so entertaining! We didn t think anything could beat what we just seen. Boy were we wrong! The Dolphin Odyssey left us feeling like we were on cloud 9! We seen up close tons of jumps, tricks, we were able to listen to their beautiful sounds under water, were able to touch and receive kisses from the dolphins, and best of all we actually got to hang on to their fin and go for a ride!
The trainer- Melissa F was fantastic! She definitely did an amazing job keeping both our attention, as well as the dolphins, and made it look so easy (although we know better, she s just very dedicated and good at what she does!) She is an asset to your company, I hope she knows how many people admire her and her work!
Thank you Melissa and team for a fantastic day!

Love the new additions to the Seaquarium! It is a great place to go with your children. There they could learn interesting facts about marine life. It also offers different shows. The Seaquarium Camp offers different possibilities for children.

One of the most interesting places I've ever been if you go there be sure to get there early because if you don't you won't be able to see all of it you still might not be able to even if you get there early there's so much stuff to see so many shows

We went here around 3 years ago during Christmas time. It was a nice experience to spend the day here. Interesting shows by dolphins and other fish. I also loved the colorful birds peacock and various parrots. Overall a nice place.

Wish I could give zero stars. This place is SICK and inhumane. Educate yourselves, these animals should NOT be living in captivity for your amusement.

They are just going to keep using her until she dies.
Quit giving this awful company money.

I took my kids here for our vacation to miami. I brought my tickets on groupon.. Try to wait until groupon have promo codes to get the tickets cheaper if you can. We really enjoyed ourselves here. The dolphin and sea lion show was amazing. Lots to see here. The aquarium is completely outdoors (im use to Indoor back here in baltimore) ..so please bring a hat. Im giving this a 4 because most of the vending machines were out of order, however i did find one and a bottle of water was $3.. Not a lot of dining places were open as well. Other than that, we had an amazing time

Had a great day here with my 4 year old. Yes it's dated but it's still great! It's not a ton of walking (like the miami zoo!) and the animal shows are entertaining and still amazing! love that killer whale! (sit at the top of the bleachers against the chain link fence to feel a nice breeze) Even the gift shops are great. We went after lunch for the second round of shows starting at 2pm and had ice cream too. It ended up being a perfect day-even with the 4 month old baby tagging along!

This place is terrible. I was shocked! The animals are so sad. If you love dolphins and whales, DO NOT go here. They force these beautiful, intelligent creatures to live in a bathtub and eat stinking, dead fish. If you want to see dolphins, charter a boat in the ocean!

I when for the first time ever and the heat is horrible. The flamingos are all day long under the sun which breaks my heart. None of their facilities have adopted a solution to better climate their insides. I can t imagine the hassle of the people that have to work there. Prices are not affordable so unless it s snowing in Miami -so the temperature will be nice- I don t recommend you the visit. Save your weekend, time and money.

As others have mentioned, this seaquarium needs to update their facility. The ticket is overpriced for what you can see. I went there on a Sunday morning and spent about 2.5 hours. Only a few food vendor and cafe were open and we decided to eat at Manatee Bay Cafe. Their menu was okay and the food was average. While we were eating, one of the lady was very kind to let us know that the killer whale show was coming up soon so that we won't miss it. Other staffs at the cafe were very friendly, too, and we had a pleasant time!

I am a huge fan of manatees so if you want to see manatees, this would be a great place. You can see this gentle creature above and under the tanks. If you are lucky, you will get to see them during feeding time!

Again, this seaquarium is very expensive and needs update but I am giving 4 points out of five because the staffs were great and the manatees were adorable!

Nice, big place. Three stars because it's insanely hot in the summer and there's no air conditioning inside. But there's lots of nice things to look at, a few shows and a few food and drink options if you're hungry and/or thirsty...

Your staff and facility should accommodate autistic kids... I was highly disappointed when asked to move my son in his medically needed stroller (in the whale show) to the other side of the disability seating because the stroller is smaller and to allow a drunk fool in a rented battery operated chair... SO MESSED UP WHEN WE WERE SEATED THERE FIRST! MY SON CRIED TO SEE THE WHALES AND ALL HE SAW WAS A BLUE FREAKING WALL! Felt my son was highly discriminated because he was in a special needs stroller instead of a wheelchair! SHAME ON YOUR STAFF! POOR AUTISTIC KID COULDN'T EVEN ENJOY LOLA WHO HE WAS EXTREMELY EXCITED FOR! NEVER WILL I VISIT YOUR DISCRIMINATORY FACILITY!

It was really sad to see that this beautiful animal are kept in such a small space and are expected to preform well in front of people so the can get food. I only went there bc I got free tickets but I can't support something like this, is heart breaking.

I was appalled at the poor service at the Miami Seaquarium!
It was a very hot morning and at the Killer Whale and Dolphin Show they had shut the doors to the auditorium and little children had to line up in the blazing sun and stand and wait for up to 15 minutes to get in. One little girl in front of us fell down and was almost unconscious!
After the show we lined up at the Ice Cream and food stall. There were about 20 people in the queue and only 1 person for taking the Orders AND Serving the food. He would take an order then shut the window while he prepared the food then open the window around the corner to deliver the order then come back to take the second order! It took him about 12-15 minutes to take and prepare each order!
Is the Seaquarium short of people to serve food? Considering that they charge almost $50/- per person the least they can do is hire a few more people to make that place with some level of efficiency!
While the animals and shows were good the experience was AWFUL!!

It would be better if it hadn't been so hot. Most of the attractions are outside.

The shows are pretty good. The Orcas and Dolfins were great. The static displays are just okay, and there aren't many of them. Also, some of them looked like they were in need of a cleaning. I'm pretty sure there was a good sized Nurse shark in the reef tank, bit it was hard to see through the green murky water.

All of this would have been fine at a lower price. Based on the cost to enter, O was expecting something more like the Baltimore aquarium.

MIAMI SEAQUARIUM

MIAMI SEAQUARIUM

Miami SEAQUARIUM is the best aquarium.you can visit in the south. It is built up on the idea of the sea World., So if you have visited that already this might seem a little repetitive and smalli ish. But if you want to spot dolphins and whales for the first time it is great. I booked a sophomore experience which was called dolphin odyssey. It was a little overpriced but all in all a great experience. I got to shake hands with dolphins, kiss them and literrlt swim wthem or should I say swim 'by' them. The photos were very expensive so I suggest you if you have company choose different sessions so that you get your own photos and vids. There is a show starring a killer whale too, which is huge in size . The other things were a bit badly maintained. For example the discover cove and the alley with the Penguins was kind of dirty whcohc made it hard to spot animals. The manatee exhibit is good. The show about seals is nice with choreographed music and steps and a storyline and everything. There are a bunch of flamingoes to welcome you. The spot may take.youa. Whole day to enjoy all the shows

The Miami Seaquarium is closer to an amusement part than a prestigious and more education and science oriented aquarium like the one from Vancouver or Boston for example. The shows performed by dolphins, orcas and sea lions are the center of it. Some people might enjoy it but is not my preferred style of aquarium. As Miami Seaquarium says below, they do have a conservation and rehabilitation program, which is great, but I know it because I have read about it before visiting the aquarium, not in the aquarium, it would be great to have more info about what they do in situ. Indeed I believe that should be the center of the aquarium instead of the shows or close encounters.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Seaquarium. It is great for kids all ages. Fun shows and nice exhibits.I was happy to see that unlike others they still have a killer whale show. The park is pretty similar to SeaWorld but in a smaller scale. Only complaint is that as many amusement parks buying anything in the park is very expensive.

My stars are really 4 1/2 ...they were doing upgrades to the park. You will not believe how fast the day goes when your here. My wife and I enjoyed this place. Bring the kids...I did see bored looks from the average teenagers....lol....

Terrible, the tickets were extremely expensive and the shows were nothing but talking from the trainer girl and a splish splash here and there. Was bored and started playing pokemon Go and found a lot of magnemites and voltlorbs, still not worth it

It s the worse aquarium with an Orca in a dirty and small tank! The whole aquarium is a completely mess! It s old, has no maintenance at all, all the tanks looks dirty! I don t understand how they are still open to the public! The reef is like a WW2 tank, too dirty to see the fish inside with too smalls windows! Where is @peta ON THESE CASES????? #SEAQUARIUMCLOSENOW

Animals put down the best show possible but the place needs a make up. The buildings and infrastructure is all crumbling. The restaurants don't open the whole day and those which are open have long queue. The narration during the shows can make the shows more engaging and appealing to the audience.
