This place made me sad. The animals were kept in such small quarters, most without any natural feature in them; just concrete and water. The only tank that felt humane was the big coral reef thank in the middle. Unfortunately that tank was dirty and had less than clear visability. The part of the park that felt the most cared for and thought through was the gift shop. Very loud music was blasted in every part of the park which must be tiring for the animals, it was to us. The dolphin odyssey somewhat made up for this sad experience but did not live up to the big price tag. All in all, this felt like a third world park. Time to upgrade for the sake of the animals! Compared to other aquariums I have been to in the US and in Europe this one does not even come close and was wildly disappointing.

Fun experience if you go early you have time to see the main shows in order and then explore. Got season passes with single ticket purchases which is an awesome deal. The area around is nice with beaches and parks not much further. Well be making our way back to try one of the animals encounters

DONT GO HERE.. This poor whale has been in this small tank for 40+ years and it does not even meet Standards for whales in captivity. This poor whale only swims in circles in this one little tank which is too small anyway... it should be set to a sanctuary. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ITS A DISGRACE TO HUMANITY WHAT THEY DO. Do NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE DO NOT GO!!

I had a couple of hours to kill before heading to the airport, so I went here. The person at the ticket counter was kind enough to give me a deal for the short time I was going to be there. That helped make the experience nicer.

It was a slow day, so I didn't have any crowds to fight. That's a good thing, because it didn't feel like there was very much to see.

I caught the dolphin show, which was entertaining, and then decided to grab a quick bite at one of the restaurants. Because it was a slow day, they decided to understaff the place. So, despite the slow day and no crowds, I still had to wait 20 minutes to pick up a small basket of fish and chips, which cost me $14. Ouch!

I suppose if I had a couple of kids, then spending two to three hours here would be worth the car ride and the admission price. But once would be enough.

If you're in Miami and have a couple of hours to kill, I would recommend killing them less painfully somewhere else.

With the location you have, in am important city as Miami, the Seaquarium should be at least similar to the SeaWorld in Orlando.
Few of the pools looks old. Small glass or windows, old technology.

I saw some improvement since my last time there.

It's an older Park and I went there strictly to see the prehistoric reptiles I love dinosaurs.. a lot of the booths weren't open. I've been going there since the 1950s it's still my aquarium I see people moving even though it's gone downhill sorry to say but it's in a limited area so they can't add on cuz the bay is directly behind it

Not what I expected. Admission was a fraction of SeaWorld; however you will receive a fraction of the attractions. My wife ordered a Cuban sandwich.... Worst sandwich we have ever had, we took two bites and threw it in the trash. The kids did enjoy the killer whale show.

Today we did the seal experience which was wonderful. It was also a bit pricey at over 600 for my family of 4. I was more than ok with this but the major turn off was how they want to rip you off on photos afterwards. I understand selling us the pictures they took of us but the fact that we did the experience as a family and shared a whole 15 minutes with the seals and the camera between the 4 of us, yet they want to charge us for each persons pictures individually costing $260. They do not allow you to bring your own camera so the only way to capture the memory is through them. If they wanted to charge me for each persons pictures separately than they should have given each person their individual 15 minutes to interact with the seals.

Fun day at the seaquarium. Great shows, fun sea mammals, get soaking wet and enjoy the day with kids and adults. The park is a dome somewhat small and under construction at this time. The food is not great and overpriced but it is to be expected. Parking is strange as they ask for cash.

We enjoyed the diversity and variety of sea animals at this aquarium! We come from Utah so we were able to experience lots of new species here, which was awesome for our 2 1/2 year old! She was impressed with every single exhibit. Huge manatees, dolphins, killer whales, small sharks, large turtles, flamingos, beautiful macaws, and a huge aquarium FULL of different kinds of smaller fish. We loved that the aquarium offers shows, like the dolphin show. It was incredible and so fun to watch. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean. The price was reasonable and worth it. There are food stands spread throughout the park. Stroller friendly. There is a splash pad for the kids. The only reason for not rating this 5 stars is because we found it slightly difficult to find things without using the map. The signs aren t big enough or clear enough to just walk through and find the exhibits on your own. Otherwise this place is awesome and we d definitely recommend it.

Not good. We only went here because it was included in a Summer Pass with other places we want to go. According to the website, you have to buy/pick up the pass here. Parking was $10 so I figured I'd make it worth the $10. That said I realize the exhibits will naturally look different from indoor aquariums. However, this entire place looks run down and dirty. The animals seem listless and bored. We saw a seal lying on a rock with blood coming from a wound somewhere around its flipper. A penguin was repeatedly swimming into the glass. Is this normal behavior?! Every enclosure is barren...just a concrete pool with algae growing, some marine plants, and animals in prison. The water in EVERY pool/enclosure is dirty. We didn't stay to see poor Lolita, who has lived alone in the smallest pool ever since 1980. Honestly, I love marine animals, so seeing Lolita perform alone in that small pool would have been super depressing. I do enjoy aquariums and even Sea World, as they are the closest the common person will ever get to these animals. I also realize these parks get a bad rap. Much of it is a fair assessment, especially this one. The icing on the stale cake for me was finding a lone deer looking scared as hell enclosed in a part of the park with iguanas. One. Damn. Deer. My daughter and I thought it was wild and had somehow jumped a fence and gotten stuck. We reported the deer to a park worker and she said, "Oh no, that's Liberty. She belongs there." Liberty!!! Of all the names to give this ONE POOR DEER captured and held prisoner in a marine park. SeaWorld has it's issues, but this place makes SeaWorld look like marine animal heaven. Shut it down.

Went there about a year ago and paid the $90 or whatever it was for two people. To echo everyone else (putting it mildly) it was atrocious. None of the animals/fish seemed to be cared for, the park was empty, and none of the employees knew anything about the exhibits they were running. I spoke with a manager and got my money back. I would absolutely under no circumstances promote anyone to support this place unless the money was 100% being used to release anything living, or to bring them to a facility that will properly care for them in humane conditions.

It was ok, personally I thought it was not worth the price. Prepare for the heat if you go here, everything's outdoors in a non air-conditioned environment and especially babies can overheat easily, so go prepared, on site purchases are very expensive, not a lot of food options that I liked.
Kids pick up all the animals and poke and prod them while the signs clearly ask you not to in the touch tank, and the staff doesn't really care about that, I also felt bad for the 'show animals' because they were in very small tanks (I don't know if they're released to bigger tanks or pools later but I doubt it). Friendly staff! Good shows but again I kept feeling bad and guilty about the big fish!

My expectations They were superior to what the aquarium really is, maybe it's fun for the children but I do not think that's what It should be, I went with my husband and the children and only our tickets were $ 90.00 and $ 10.00 from the parking lot but it's fine because we were excited, when we went in we went to all the shows and they believed me They last almost 5 minutes they are very short, my experience was horrible I expected something else in the whole show of the past feeding him so be it to the dolphins, sea lions etc, I only saw the dolphins jump once, in the middle of the show all the people left including me that I did not finish it, unfortunately, nothing good to say.
