We did take an investment linked policy with them....

We did take an investment linked policy with them. The initial signing was good. But we found out after 2 years that my mum took on a high yield policy, which made money for manulife because for every transaction its a $8++ charge. It sold whenever there's profit to cover the charge, dont believe the compound interest whenever thing.. worse of all, we asked the agent for cancellation but a form was sent to my mum and we have to do the paperwork and submit ourselves. So far dealing with Pru, AIA, Great Eastern hasn't been so tough. This is the worse by far.

Lousy service, Call them 3 times, every time they said cancel policy successfully, then next month keep charging me. I suggest you guys working with them via email rather than a verbal communication/call center. Canceling policy already so much hassle. Wonder how it like when claim insurance from them. Stay away from this company.

If I can submit a 0 star or 0.5 star I would have done that! Every time I tired to make an application for withdrawal of my rightful coupon they make it god damn hard for approval. i.e. rubbish like your signature does not look the same. Can I suggest then to use biometrix recognition ... if your company is this fuzzy. Unless you bring dead finger's for verification, there is not excuse to tell me my verification does not look like the signature I signed. To those who have not yet make any purchase. I suggest you find another company. this one is run by stupids

indeed the world leading WORSE INSURANCE COMPANY. more than a week ago requested for benefit illustration but till now they cant provide, taking their own sweet time. this kind of customer service is DESTRUCTIVE TO THE COMPANY.

The maternity plan mentioned it covers at week 13 onwards. I signed up in June (conceived in Mar). However, it was not immediately processed~ Manulife waited for further reports and in Sept came a letter of being postponed. 2-3 months of report review? I Guess it does not really serve the purpose why we want to get an insurance.

Enquired about a critial illness policy online and indicated that I wanted to be contacted via email. That was weeks ago. No response and nothing in my spam folder. If this is their level of service, I dread to think what it would be like if I signed a policy with them.

I surrender my policy but there is no courtesy call to inform me that they have received my form and confirm the amount of my payout. I told them another company did! They reply saying that is not possible for them to do so because they have alot of transaction to deal with! Poor customer service! I am thankful I am done with Manulife!!

Try calling the hotline so many times but always busy. Finally someone pickup and supposed to get an insurance agent to contact me but never after so many days. Luckily never buy policy from them. With such a lousy service, I can imagine how would I get paid if event happened.

Very poor communication from the agent responsible for my policy.. it s either she busy or never response to my sms. Sometimes it take days to response. This type of service attitude cannot survive in this highly competitive market.I have yet to call in to their customer service, i think should be about the same standard!!!
