Average day out. Manatees were the best bit, it would have been nice to see a lot more space dedicated to this exhibit as it was the most interesting. Also maybe a shuttle bus of some sorts? It's pretty far out of the city unless you have a car

Amazing day with the seals. The staff friendly and very knowledgeable. All animals very well cared for and loved. The swimming with the seals was beyond words. Place is clean just older. But the care and love is there.

The park itself was ok, definitely geared towards younger children. However, the dolphin odyssey was amazing. Bre and Amanda were awesome and very patient. We are looking forward to coming back for Sea Trek Reef Encounter.

Don't support this evil place. The tank is far too small to keep a killer whale in. This beautiful animal has been doing the same tricks for 30 years in a tank thats less deep as she is tall.

I went there to see the killer whale and it was closed I wish they had told me before I went in. Also discovery place was also closed .They should inform the public before u spend a lot of money than find out that u r not going to see what I drove to see. Plus the parking was ten dollars and we r handicapped.

Way to much money. I spent $100. Bucks just to park and get in then another $7.00 on a 20 of water and Pepsi. $25.00 on 3 chicken nugget and burnt fries. And then there is the $3.75 for a small pack of m&m's . I'm sorry but I was not impressed at all this place has not changed in 20 years. Also all you can smell is cigar and cigarettes the allow people to walk around and freely smoke. This is also supposed to be a family park but I felt as if it was no different then an outside bar. The also serve alcohol and once again no designed Arie let's just let people walk around getting drunk awesome for the kids to watch sorry Miami seaquarium you suck not the family park I thought you would be

It is too expensive.... Other than that it's a fun place. Directions within the park need to be better and exit signs should be clearly marked. Shows are OK, if you can understand the host. On a hot day they should have some solar fans running at the shows to cool people down. Service at the food kiosks is painfully slow. The prices are typically Park expensive. See menus in my pictures. Parking is NOT free. There is a taxi stand with taxis if rou come without a car. Yeah, kids will definitely love it.

Same dolphins at every show. Not worth for the rate it's offering. They should reduce the price. If you have seen sea animals in some other places, you can skip this place in Miami. It will eat your day. They have dolphins, sea lion, some birds, mannette that's it. The water splash is not good , it's very small and good only for kids

Very expensive for the conditions. It needs major cleaning. I assume it's expensive to maintain but with the entrance price I know they can have better cleaning referring to their animal habitats.

As an aquarium and SeaWorld fan, I found this place to be pretty decent. It reminded me of a smaller SeaWorld. Exhibits are nice and very educational to those who don't know about the animal displayed. And the shows were PHENOMENAL! My personal favorites were the Sea Lion show and the Lolita the orca and White Sided Pacific dolphin show. They were VERY well done. Top Deck dolphin show was great too. Although I love Flipper, that show was okay for us because they didn't get in the water with the dolphins. Maybe we just went to the wrong showtime (there are two showtimes for each show). Along with the shows, they have presentations. We only saw the manatee, shark, and seal presentation, but they were very good. The staff was also very nice, and the trainers were definitely enjoying their relationship with the animals. One thing I didn't like so much was the size of Lolita the orcas tank. It is very small for her size. Hopefully it can be expanded in the future. But other than that, it is a wonderful place to take your family. Would definitely suggest it.

There's only 2 words to describe this horrid place. Animal. Abuse. This place doesn't even care if their animals are happy or not, they just care about money. First of all, tickets were way overpriced; $47 per person (people over 9 at least.) They were keeping an orca named Lolita in a illegal tank. Please, if you are planning to take a visit, go to YouTube and search up "Lolita Slave to Entertainment." This documentary will change your mind. They keep manatees in a tub and a orca named Hugo used to live in that tub back in the 1900's. Lolita lives in a bathtub basically. She's a slave. A slave that was meant to entertain people twice a day. The only way that she can gain her freedom is not buying a ticket. Don't go.

Super, schedule allowed us to see everything we wanted to. Had 1 on 1 with the Dolphins, and got to see the Orca whales, something we have been waiting to do for nearly 40 yrs. Shows weren't more than 20 minutes long. Plenty of time to eat and shop

The fact you guys left Lolita to die says A LOT about your company and employees. We are working to have everyone boycott this place, no one wants to be apart of your guys animal cruelty.
Also the fact the man who exposed you guys was fined $100 for telling the truth smh YOU guys should be fined for abandoning Lolita. Actually, for even bringing her there in the first place. I mean, who is feeding her right now?? No one right? if I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would!
Just know, the seaquarium prison is officially WACK

-1 star. I have lived in Miami my whole life and had never been, when I finally took my son, I was so very disapointed on the facility and the displays so gloomy and sad looking, just not worth the high price. To be honest, rather take the drive to Georgia to their AMAZING aquarium. Miami should take example on how an aquarium should be from them. Never again will I go there.

The admission is over priced for the entertainment value. Customer service is unhelpful and apathetic. Not enough shaded areas for relief of the hot Florida sun. The water tanks for the manatees seem too small for such large creatures. Unfortunately Seaworld is too far away to give the Seaquarium any competition. If you want to see animals go to the Miami Zoo or Jungle Island, you'll enjoy it more.

The whole park just looks like its stuck in 2006 , no a/c in any building , all building look outdated , the orca has a small pool which is sad , everything is super overpriced and not worth it , bathrooms are nasty and you gotta pay 50$ for seeing animals which is nice but sad they all have small pools

Went here for my son's 4th birthday. He's been looking forward to it all month. I've never been here before but it's definitely the last time. Wish I could get a refund. It just wasn't worth it. Overpriced food that was bad quality. Animals looked lie they were on the verge of death in really bad enclosure . And we saw a dead tortoise in an extremely dirty trench. Why stay open in such horrible conditions and expose people to this? I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to go see what their is to see at Miami seaquarium.

I would put 0 stars if I could. The aquarium itself is not bad but the customer service at the parking lot today and customer service office degraded from 5 stars to 0. This is the 4th time we come and today the woman at the parking gate at 3:06pm had 0 sensitivity for people. There was a misunderstanding of information and she started escalating the situations. On the admission office they didn't care and honestly if it was a place for adults I wouldn't care but I do care can when
it's supposed to be a family place.

Expensive in my opinion, and if you make the math have a membresy is cheaper but they say if you got the membresy you cannot use it the same day.... so pay attention before you buy your tickets, definitely I won't visit the place again , I liked the first shows I watched until, I watched all the shows and they all were very similar to each other. Just was sad I ended feeling sorry for the animals.

Staff is very enthusiastic and make a great job, but aquarium is very old and outdated. Water is muddy and it's really hard to see anything, description is incomplete, gaps between the shows are too big.

I feel as though they need some updates. Some of the displays did not match the animal tanks. The map was hard to follow. The interactive wall displays did not all work. The staff were friendly and informative but management needs to do better

All the shows are great and easy to get around. Could broaden their menus at their kiosks.
If u are not into shows there are many aquariums and hands on exhibits.
Presenters could be on automatic pilot and sometimes not exuberant.
Flipper show could shorten dialogue. Maybe have dolphins do things while they hock u about the environment

I came here for Vacation and purchased Seaquarium tickets through Miami Go Card. I love animals so I enjoyed my time here. I saw the dolphin show, sea lion and seal show, and the killer whale and dolphin show. I visited the Mangrove Forest and saw the sea turtles, saw the two manatees, and fed the seals at the feeding area (extra $5 per fish bag). I petted the sharks near the entrance and petted the stingrays near the dolphin stadium. The sea lion and seal show was my favorite! The killer whale and dolphin show is great, but if you sit in the front four rows you will DEFINITELY get wet each time the killer whale jumps up! I wouldn't eat here since the restaurants charge very expensive food. We spent 3 hours here then left for lunch.

You will be sorely disappointed if you are expecting an experience and/or venue even remotely approaching that of other comparable cities such as the New England Aquarium in Boston, the Dallas World Aquarium or the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego. The quality of the exhibits was disappointing in quality and scale for all but the youngest children. A price on the level or higher than that of what should be comparable attractions sealed the one-star rating. A seacoast city with the size and location of Miami really should have a far better offering - tremendously disappointed.

Are there plans to update/enlarge the Manatee enclosure..it is too small for those animals and they looked pitiful and pathetic..their water was murky and dirty..why house animals that are obviously uncared for??? I will never return but will monitor they re plight closely

Poor animals hunted from the open ocean, shipped to Miami and made captives. Forced to do foolish tricks for dead fish. Not educational, just sad. Lolita has been imprisoned there for over 40 years. Heartbreaking. Dirty, grimy place.

First and foremost the swim with the seals was awesome and worth it BUT second the pictures they expect you to buy are way way overpriced the pictures to buy cost more than to swim with the seals and that is just ridiculous Third you guys need to fix your website I booked the seal swim yesterday well i didnt think i did and the website said it never went through an unexpected error had accured and called this morning and they told me the seal swims where all sold out so i booked the sea trex swim in the aquarium which was a little over $200 and then I get a phone call saying that i double booked the seal swim and sea trex at the same time and I already paid for both so i was confused so now I'm out $200 for about 10 days till I get my money back which I kinda needed for the rest of my trip to south florida . I'm glad we didnt do the sea trex aquarium anyway cause it looked really dirty and the drinks and food where way overpriced also..........

UPDATE ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND STILL NO REFUND AND NO CALLS BACK AND NO EMAILS BACK

Our experience was very dissapointing. The place is outdated, rusted, very few animals and lack of entertainment. I think they must spend more money on the place and redesign the whole aquarium. One of the vending machines never return 50 cents back and what to say the price compared with what they can offer to the public. Not coming back until they remodel.

I wouldn't go to such a place because I abhor animal abuse. Have you seen the size of the tank that they keep that poor whale in??? It's despicable!!! If anyone supports them, they are just as bad.

If was fun, but kind of old looking .so many different for sharing and creatures, but sometimes I feel sorry for them even though they don't look mistreated. I learned a lot and had a good time.

Took my 13 yr. old for a seal encounter. It was the best! one on one with the seal and a trainer. We got great photos and videos. She will remember the experience forever. The shows and exhibits were wonderful also.

Fabulous day out for the family. We had a wonderful time. Lots of interactive areas for children to get up close with the animals. Especially with small sharks ,fish , star fish and stingrays. My child could spend hours touching and interacting with the animals. All staff were extremely helpful friendly and informative.

Wouldnt go back. Tickets are overpriced and the aquarium itself needs to be remodeled badly. I also felt really bad for the animals like the beautiful orca confined in a small tank.

this place its good and entertaining, but every time you go the activities are the same, maybe once in a while they could change it up. It seems like they are not a rehabilitation ceter because they make them do tricks.

DO NOT waste your money!
