A relative bought a used car that was only a year old that had all kinds of issues and scratches all over it. Had one key and low on fluids and a couple lights on in dash plus at 65 it vibrated all over the freeway. Looks like they took it in and didnt even look at it and stuck a for sale sign on it. They were really upset and treid to talk to salesman and he was like you should not have signed the papers with all the issues so they complained to the manager and finally they are fixing it. They are never going back there. Guess things never change in how they treat women.

Our salesman Thomas was very polite and informative about the question we had about the vehicle we were interested in. All paperwork went well and in a timely manner. Second vehicle that we purchased from this dealer and if the need arises would go there again.

My experience has been very good, the 2nd vehicle I've purchased at Mentor Mitsubishi and was welcomed by accommodating salespeople namely Tommy Degnan, great conversation, outgoing and honest. Thank you for all of the great service from sales, management, service and finance.

Our Buying experience was just AWFUL!.. I wonder if the GM knows what they did to lose this customer who has bought 5 cars/suv from them over the years and sent many customers there way.. Wait he does.. Cause he was there also.... The Internet Salesman told me to go buy from another dealer and was unable to get us financed witch in my opinion was way wrong! cause we were approved at 3 banks and a few other lenders.. And Its also my opinion that almost all dealers use the same company's for Special Financing so it seemed to me they were unwilling to lower the price to make the deal, and gave up on a good customer and not even try just a little harder to make it happen even if they came back with "you going to have to put 50% down-payment to mak it happen.. At the very least I know that they tried.. .. I have been a long customer of MM, We/Family/Friends/Co-Workers bought many car's for my Security Business and Personal from them.. . And I know because I got sick with Parkinson's and had to file for disability my credit took a dive with all my medical bills, So it was then I asked them to maybe have it in my wife's to make it easier for them.. I was very taken back how I was now being treated.. they are very kind and helpful until they figure there is nothing they can do for you Its my opinion its the same with any dealer but the story does not end here... That same day after Sales Person called me from MM and told us there was nothing they could do or to get my wife financed.. We then drove to Ganley Subaru in Wickliffe and got the SUV we wanted as our 2nd pick, We did get a great price and a great rate of 12.9% with $1000 down and got $3000. for my trade in.. Where it seemed to me that I was getting 1000-2000 trade in value.. Now even though my wife credit was also affected by my being out of work for so long due to my disability. We drove home that night with our new JEEP Approved!!!.. I am sorry to say you have now lost a long time customer.. I want to point out that MM has some great people that work there.. they have made some changes with some of the folks that I used to know in the past that seemed to work harder for me.. The folks that work there now have no Idea about me and our purchase's in the past that is understandable to a point.. But it is my opinion no matter how long its been since your buy.. We should all be treated as a VIP 1st timers to Old Customers.. It keeps it fair for everyone.. Also want to state that this was just my situation and I knew it was going to be a situation that going to take time to get it done. I am not mad at anyone nor wish anything bad towards MM or some of the best people around! This was just my incident and my review. I pointed it out to the GM and he sent me a message back saying Sorry for what happened and Please let us make it right!! So I figured maybe a couple of
free car washes or a Detail job or something.. But never heard from them till the 24th/NOV I got a personal email from the GM sharing his opinion of what had happened and then this... See below///

11/30/2017 I got am email from the GM asking me to "Please remove this review that it also slanderous" and on the other email giving the reasons why they couldn't get the deal done.. What's funny if they would have just left it there with a Sorry! I would have taken it down. but then he ended the 2nd email with " I will not get into a war of words on social media. However, your posts will not go unnoticed if you continue. To be very clear, the postings that you write are absolutely libel and slanderous. This is our first request to cease and desist from any more posts. You got your vehicle, now let it go..."

From my initial visit looking for a car was an enjoyable , low key experience. There seemed to be a staff that worked very well together to get me into the right car. I am very satisfied with my Outlander Sport that typifies my way of life and has tremendous safety features, plus 4w drive for different road conditions.

Went to mentor Mitsubishi on July 9. For a service special and to check a front end rattle. I was taken in promptly and the girl at the front service desk was so pleasant and helpful. Very professional. She understood all my concerns and addressed them to my complete satisfaction. All the work was done well and in good time. Well done service department!

Buying a vehicle from Mentor Mitsubishi was about as painless as it can get! From the salesman to the financial "guy", it was handled smoothly and easily. I had done my homework prior to arriving, so I knew approximately what my trade-in was worth. I also had roamed around their website and picked out the vehicle of my interest. Surprisingly, with the rebates and other things available to me, I drove out with a brand new Outlander Sport instead of Pre-owned. This is the second time I have worked with Dave Clark, in sales, and I would highly recommend him!

I brought my 5 year old Mitsubishi Outlander sport in for service and can not say enough nice things about the service department! They were amazing! The warranty on Mitsubishi cars is amazing, everything was covered, even after 5 years! The customer service is top notch! Thank you!! Highly recommend Mentor Mitsubishi!

I have always been completely satisfied with the service I have received from Mentor Mitsubishi. Bob Soppitt and team are outstanding and very accommodating. I even called Bob for advice about my car when I lived in Colorado and he was very helpful to me. I highly recommend the Mentor Mitsubishi service team.

One of the worst businesses I have done any kind of business with. The use car mgr. didn't have the respect to return a call. My wife purchased a vehicle about 2 and a half years ago. She has never even been late once, she was trying to trade the vehicle in on a newer one but no matter who they wouldn't finance her. But couldn't get a phone call in stead she wasted her time waiting on a call.
Back when she bought the vehicle they was a Kia dealer from down the street, then they became a Mitsubishi dealer in there own lot and now you can see a sign saying there a Fiat dealer well going through 3 different people you would learn how to deal with customers. Well needless to say I would not go back to them or any Mitsubishi or fiat dealer and would think twice about Kia when they was the ones who trained or directed in the first place. Now my wife keeps getting dinged for credit inquiries because the dealer contacted places never even heard of. And it probably because my wife wanted to do it with trade-in and not down payment. Well the best advice I can pass along is stay away from Mentor, Ohio and any Kia, Mitsubishi, Fiat dealers. Its a shame they allow such operations in this country. No wonder our country is hurting.

I can't say enough good things about this place and their staff! Jason, my salesman, was extremely courteous, professional, caring and attentive. He worked with me for almost 2 weeks to get me in the perfect vehicle. He really was one of the most patient people I have ever met. The whole staff had a great sense of humor and even Mario the finance guy was down to earth and easy to talk to. I don't think ill ever buy a car anywhere else!

however the guy that filled out the final papers was another story he is most assurdly a bully . thank goodness i was able to stick to my guns and not let this guy intimidate me!
wow i hope he is not required toact like that by his superiors.

Rude.

The team at Mentor Mitsubishi service took special care of me again as always! They go out of their way to make sure that I get to and from work safely while they fix everything needed on my vehicle. I wouldn't dream of taking my car anywhere else.

Beware this service department. I recently took my car in for recall work. I then received the "expected" call about all the other things wrong that needed to be repaired to the tune of $600. Included in that list was leaking drive axle boot and burned out light bulbs. Huh. That's odd. I had just replaced burned out bulbs myself right before I took the van in. I figured Mentor Mitsubishi was f-ing with me. I declined additional work on my car. Shortly afterward I was due for an oil change and the guys there always alert me to burned out bulbs. No bulbs burned out. Ended up taking my car to another mechanic to make sure the drive axle boots were repaired. Guess what? NOT A THING WRONG WITH MY DRIVE AXLE BOOTS. i despise dishonest people.

This was possibly the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Im from Pa, and never bought out of state before and Dave, my salesman, made it all the easiest thing to do. I had been looking for a while for a vehicle and was at the end of my patience, but I have to hand it to Dave and everyone else at Mentor Mitsubishi, they're the best I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!!

The service department is fantastic. Bob, Dan and Erica make scheduling, drop off, and pickup extremely quick and easy. I had tires installed, 4-wheel alignment and complete car detailing. The car handles and looks like new. I recommend this service department to all my friends and will continue to take all my vehicles to them.

Absolutely worst car dealership around period point blank will not work with you what so ever , I got approved at another Mitsubishi dealership and this company writes you a fake check just to get you inside there building and wrongful false advertising DO NOT COME TO MENTOR MITSUBISHI you will regret every minute and second of it

Replaced battery did not have to wait just stopped in and was quickly serviced! I have been purchasing vehicles only at Mentor Mits. since 2005. I have never had a problem, Mike Connors is great!

All around great experience! This was my first time purchasing new tires and the process was quick and painless, four new tires and an oil change in an hour and a half. The staff was very nice and Erica explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable and plan to go back for future service.

This dealership is a mess. I look in service bays they had very few Mitsubishis even to work on. Service told me I needed a new engine. I took it down the street and had water pump replaced and now auto runs fine. Dealership replaced parts that were not bad and I took parts and had them checked and were not needing replaced. I ask them over and over about water pump and never responded. Finally I ask again after giving me a bill of over $700 for nothing other than to wrongly tell me engine needs replaced what about the water pump and they told me it would cost another $200 to determine if that was issue. Also they took 2 parts off of the body of vehicle and never put back on. I had to ask them where parts were and to put them back on. after 2-1/2 hours of waiting I ask for parts so I could put them back on by someone else. this was after I already paid the full bill.I am not a complainer. I order a pizza and get a cold one and don't complain and give the driver a $5 tip for delivery. I never return food and just go ohh well. But this place was ridiculous to the extreme. Dealer also could not work on the vehicle they claimed because repairman went Bear hunting and I would have to wait until he returns to get vehicle back.Yes I said repairman had to go hunting to kill a Bear before they would finish my vehicle that sat there for month and half. This place is so bad, worse than words can explain.

They are far and away the finest car dealer we have ever dealt with. This experience has lasted through six car purchases and several trade-ins.
Their service group treats us like family and responds quickly and without peer.
Everyone we run into there are highly professional and friendly.
We recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Excellent! they really took care of us, by extending our rental car by almost on their dime, because warranty company only gave us week and it was a 3 week repair! Which, they determined was covered, but not the rental car over a week ridiculous!!
Thank goodness for fine gentleman running the service dept they really helped us out in a pinch! This is now or third service visit for warranty repairs on vehicle we have had 6 months and every visit the guys hit it out of the park with courtesy and generosity. Thanks again for the great job you all did!

My first service visit was stressful (over 2 hour wait for a simple oil change - and I had a scheduled appointment!), so I was nervous about going back. I told them I was pressed for time (which I truly was) and they had me in and out very quickly. Explained everything to me. (I had some issues, such as the tire light was on and a piece of plastic had pulled lose from my front wheel well during very heavy rains/flooding). I was kept informed and was on my way very timely. A truly happy experience! Very pleasantly surprised.

We bought our first 2015 Outlander Sport from Dave Clark new off the showroom floor in 2015. From it's first oil change six years ago until we just traded it back for our new 2020 Outlander Sport. We have always had it serviced and whatever it needed taken care of at Mentor Mitsubishi's service dept.!! Dave Clark is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with and Bob Soppit the service dept. Mng. and his staff are also very knowledgeable, Great to work with, and can be trusted to perform whatever service your vehicle needs Honestly and efficiently!!! We loved our 2015- and now especially love our new 2020 with it's so many more improved and added safety features. Our thanks to Mentor Mitsubishi and it's great staff!! We would not go anywhere else.

Second car I've bought from this Kia/Mitsubishi franchise, and I've loved them both! Mike at Kia and Ken at Mit are the best! No pushy salesmen here! Plus they got financing for me on a holiday weekend because I needed the car for a new job! Dan in service is really on the ball, too, but he owes me an oil change and a car detailing. Great place to buy a car!

Tim did an outstanding job!! He never pressured me, instead he let the outlander sell itself. It was a pleasure to do business with the dealership! I liked the fact that the sale required less than 3 hours to complete ( one hour was due to me ). Oh, did I mention how much I like my new outlander sport? It's awesome!!!

Second purchase from Mentor Mitsubishi. First was a 2010 Outlander for more daughter. I loved her car so much when it was my time there was no question it would be a Mitsubishi...a 2016 Outlander Gt. All I can say, is I looked at all the rest of comparable vehicles in its class. Hands down, the best purchase and best vehicle in it's class.

Thanks Mentor Mitsubishi and Jason White for another smooth purchase!

I am saddened that the lovely facilities have been abandoned and combined now with KIA. The old waiting room was terrific with TV and refreshments. And the service area spacious and certainly better than where it is now.
That being said, this is my sixth Mitsubishi, I buy them because they are mechanically superior. Add to that the fact that Bob runs the service department like a well oiled machine, he is the best- treats customers in a friendly, courteous manner, obviously has a staff that loves him. He is a bright diamond, if you lose him I will not come back.

I've had three visits to this service center now and have been treated very well each time. They go out of their way to do what's best for me by keeping costs under control and making sure I understand what's going on with my vehicle. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Had an appointment for recall repair. On Oct 9 Bob from the Mentor Kia/Mitsubishi call in such a rude unprofessional voice to inform me they are unable to perform the recall repair due to not being a authorize Mitsubishi dealership as of next week.

Went to the Mentor Mitsubishi building, doors were locked and no signs as to why. Called and said they are now at the Kia building. Arrived at the Kia building and no signs as to where to go for Mitsubishi service. Finally found the service desk, and was told that my appointment was not in the system. I had booked an appointment online, even showed a printout of the appointment confirmation. Thankfully, they were able to fit me in and service was completed to my satisfaction. Also was hard to find parking. I'm satisfied with the service, but improvements are needed in online booking, as well as signage for customers.

Mitsubishi has some less expensive alternatives compared to other competitors. However, this dealership is full of misleading, dishonest, and unprofessional employees. From the sales floor to the finance room don't expect an ounce of truth. Look for another Mitsubishi dealership this one is lacking integrity and preys on the inexperienced and under educated.

Signage for the new Mentor Mitsubishi service area is non-existent which is very frustrating, but people were friendly, service was done in a timely manner and pricing was as quoted

We recently took our Mitsubishi Eclipse crossover we had purchased from this dealer in for service on a rear tire that had a leak in it. I made an appointment by phone and had to wait over a week to get in. My wife took the car in and they immediately tried to sell a new tire instead of repairing the tire. Instructed my wife to take the vehicle to NTB to have it repaired. I bought this car to the dealer to have a higher quality of service in the first place. Not some second-rate tire shop. I will not bring this vehicle back for any kind of service in the future. Nor will I come back to buy another car here. Not how you treat your loyal customers. Extremely unhappy.

I had a bad experience here. My engine unexpectedly went out on my truck and I have 4 small children. I was approved through my bank to get a vehicle with no money down. I saw an 2011 Outlander that I wanted online so I came here.

I told the salesman what I wanted. He immediately tried to talk me into A 2008 Honda. I told him I didn't want it. So we test drive the Outlander. I LOVED IT!!!
Once we got got back he said he would "run the numbers " and give a call.

I called he next day he said he couldn't get me approved for the Outlander my bank was giving him a hard time and we should try the 2008. I said no thank you. The Salesman went on to say " All that money you make you can't afford to put money down" "You dnt have nothing in your savings, no credit cards" "If you can't afford to come up $1,000, how can you afford a car note"
So I called my bank to see why they were giving him a hard time.SMH my bank said they never sent over the Outlander I wanted he sent over the 2008. They we're suppose to help me. But didn't even try to get what I asked for.

There's a reason I keep going back to this place. I found out the hard way that Ford customer service is among the worst in the business. After that, I switched to Mitsubishi, and I haven't needed to go anywhere else since. Staff is friendly and helpful, service is quick and done right. Prices are kinda painful to me because I used to have the free oil changes for life, but I imagine they're pretty standard for a full-synthetic change.

I bought a 2014 Fiat at the dealer. I purchased GAP insurance at the time. When I paid off my vehicle early I proceeded to apply for a refund for the remaining months left on my loan. My wife and I went to the dealership in November to sign a form. It has been almost FIVE months and the finance manager won't call me back despite numerous attempts. I just bought a Nissan Murano and the finance manager there told me they issue refunds within 4-6 WEEKS.!! Very unprofessional and frustrating.

Except for spending my money, this place is delightful! I get fantastic customer service and the repairs my car needs. There is no pressure, only advice. All of the staff I have come into contact with are very friendly, especially Kelly. I was even offered a ride to Mentor Mall so I could shop instead of spending several hours waiting for my repairs. Mentor Mitsubishi is number 1in my book!!

I can not express enough my appreciation for Mentor Mitsubishi's professionalism along with their second to none stellar customer service. My son recently purchased a vehicle from them and recommended that I also go there and I am certainly glad I did. My wife is also in need of a new vehicle and I will certainly be returning for hers also.

Thank you again for everything..

Do not put down a deposit to hold the car because ...

Do not put down a deposit to hold the car because you won't see it again! My husband and I went in and were looking into buying a Fiat for me. We had already been pre-approved for an auto loan and brought the information. They completely ignored it and ran through a bunch of other creditors, then called us with an offer waaaay above our range and suddenly required down payment. Of course we said no, and then they magically found out that we were pre-approved for much better terms and could give us the payment we wanted as long as we could come up with this down payment. By this time I was really annoyed and told my husband to ask for the 100$ deposit back they required to hold the car. Well, they started being very evasive and didn't want to call him back. I looked at the deposit receipt and apparently it is nonrefundable if they are able to obtain financing for you-which was not mentioned by Dave the sales consultant. In addition, he failed to mention that the deposit can only be refunded in person. He called me to try and get me back up there to buy the car and I told him I just want my deposit back(which he said would be fine) , and let it slip that we bought a Fiat elsewhere for a better deal and of course he started asking a bunch of questions about what the payments were etc etc, I told him I had to go because I was with family and he HUNG UP ON ME!My husband tried to call them to get the speak to the manager to try and get the deposit back and they just kept transferring him to different voicemails. I will be filing a report through the BBB and potentially the Attorney General if we cannot get our deposit back. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, and have 100$ basically stolen from them!
