megasports should train their employees on gun laws, just got denied entry due to not having a foid card non residents cannot apply or possess a foid card, as illinois law states Non-Illinois residents are granted a limited exception to lawfully carry a concealed firearm within a vehicle if they are eligible to carry a firearm in public under the laws of their own state. Non-residents who are permitted to possess a firearm in their own state are not required to have a FOID card. learn your laws and congrats on losing a customer will not reccomend you to anyone.

I've been coming here for quite some time now. I find myself often perusing the options of firearms that they have available. I have yet to buy one from them, but most of the people that I talk to when taking a look at different firearms are very friendly and helpful. I've also used the range at this location as well. It's a very clean setup and the ventilation is definitely better than some other places that I've been to. The Acoustics are also far more dampened than other locations that have been to as well. Sure it's a little more expensive to go shooting here from time to time, but if you want some place that's not going to have any slight tickle in your throat by the time you're done shooting this is definitely a good choice. The prices on some of the items are a bit higher than I could find at other stores . Unfortunately there's no price matching or wheeling and dealing like other locations that sell guns. However when it comes to selection they are Bar None the best place around.

The lady at the counter had attitude from the start. Asked for my FOID, I comply. Then she stands there waiting... she also wanted my DL (well you should have said so). As I wait for a sales associate (they were talking to each other, at least 5 minutes), I noticed a sign "no phones, text, calls, pictures, videos. No talking about firearms and ammo." HOW YOU GOING TO TELL PEOPLE NOT TO TALK ABOUT THAT IN A GUN STORE?!? Two women come in. One has a FOID the other her CC (obviously has a FOID if she got that). The same sour desk lady makes a big deal about it. Calls someone and tells her, shes okay now, but don't do it again. They won't sell certain firearms if you live in Cook County. They lost a customer who was willing to drop a lot of money down.

Very rude and condescending staff. Expect to be treated as a criminal until proven innocent and carded for your foid and ID before entering. Phone use is also not allowed, which I've never experienced at any other gun store.

I went in ready to purchase a specific firearm. Given the current social distancing mandates as well as the influx of buyers; Mega Sports staff did a fantastic job of coordinating to ensure the fastest service possible for all customers waiting. The gentleman that sold me the firearm was very knowledgeable and friendly, familiar with the paper work required and assisted me in filling it out.

When I returned to collect my firearm Nick was extremely professional, friendly and took the time to explain to me how to disassemble/reassemble, proper cleaning procedure, safety as well as walked with me and offered his best professional opinion on accessories and ammunition.

I have herd, and read, that a few people have had bad customer service experiences at Mega Sports. This was definitely not the experience I had. It's important to note that a firearms dealer are subjected to stringent federal laws regarding their operation, which some customers may feel is the sales people being "unfriendly". I will absolutely shop here again. Thanks guys!

Went in to look at a S&W. Balding guy with glasses behind the counter was rude and unprofessional. He acted like I was a nuisance and got mad when I wanted to test the trigger reset on the handgun. I know a growing number of people who refuse to come to Megasports, and this is why. The last time I came in, I waited almost 25 minutes before someone behind the counter even acknowledged I was there. The staff really are the worst. Save yourself the hassle. Buy online and ship to your local FFL. I only came in because I wanted to handle the gun before buying but it's honestly not worth it. Plus the prices here are more than you would pay online, even including the transfer fee from the FFL. I'll never come here again.

THIS PLACE MUST BE OWNED BY LIBERALS! STAY AWAY!!! Friendly when I walked in with my buddy to look at handguns, answered some questions about models, suggested a couple to try on the range, etc. So, we went to the range to rent a couple guns and shoot. We both have FOIDs and just took our CCW class and have used ranges before. There is a waiver you sign (standard) and a form with some questions you have to fill out, so we filled them out and turned them in. My buddy chose a gun, was asked to show his grip, and paid. Then, I chose a gun, got ready to pay, and the guy told me I COULDN'T RENT A GUN OR SHOOT THERE because I answered "yes" to a question that asked "Have you ever been convicted of any crime?" I am a very honest person and so I answered "yes" because of pleading guilty to an MIP almost 20 years ago! When I explained this, the guy shook his head and said that's store policy. WHAT A JOKE!!! I CAN GET A FOID AND CCW IN IL, BUT I CANT SHOOT AT THIS PLACE??? TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE AND VOTE REPUBLICAN OR WE'LL BE DEALING WITH IDIOTS LIKE THIS FOR YEARS TO COME!!!

(((((((((((((STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!)))))))))))))THE FIRST 1 1/2 HOUR TRIP TO MEGA SPORTS, WE WERE TURNED AWAY AT THE DOOR, BECAUSE THEY DECIDED TO CLOSE THE DOORS 2 HOURS EARLY DUE TO THE VOLUME OF SALES. WE COULDNT GET IN UNLESS WE WERE PICKING UP A FIREARM. WE CALLED BEFORE WE LEFT AND NOBODY WOULD PICK UP THE PHONE.... NO ANSWERING MACHINE THAT SAID THEY WERE CLOSING. THE SECOND 1 1/2 HOUR TRIP TO MEGA SPORTS ENDED EVEN WORSE... AFTER WAITING FOR 35 MINUTES FOR SOMEONE TO GET ME A BOX OF PRIMERS OUT OF THE CASE, I WAS MET BY SKINNY PUNK WITH GLASSES A GOATEE AND TATTOO ON HIS RIGHT ARM. I WANTED TO PURCHASE A CASE OF .223 AND MY NEPHEW A CASE OF .223, ALONG WITH THE PRIMERS. I FELL SHORT ON CASH AND ASKED MY NEPHEW TO GO OUT TO THE CAR AND ASK MY WIFE FOR THE REST OF THE CASH I NEEDED. HE THAN ASKED IF SHE HAD A FOID CARD AND I SAID "NO". HE THAN TOLD ME HE COULDNT TAKE THE MONEY THAT I GOT FROM HER.."WHICH IS MY MONEY". I ASKED IF THEY HAD AN ATM AND HE SAID NO.. I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO RUN TO THE NEAREST ATM AND GET THE CASH. AFTER RETURNING WITH THE "PROPER" CASH, HE HAD PUT AWAY THE CASES OF AMMO, SO I WALKED ACROSS THE BUILDING AND GRABBED THE AMMO FOR HIM TO TELL ME HIS BOSS TOLD HIM HE COULDNT SELL ME THE AMMO, BECAUSE THERE WAS A QUESTION IN WHO WAS BUYING THE AMMO!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! DONT DO IT!! STAY AWAY! READ EVERYONES REVIEWS BEFORE WASTING YOUR TIME!!! IF YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND GAS, ITS YOUR OUN FAULT!!!!!!

Has most of what you need at fair prices, at least firearm accessories & such. Handgun prices are a little high overall. Has plenty of parking and a firearms range. I have had minimal interaction with the staff, but they were helpful. A fairly big selection of safes. A smallish selection of USED handguns. I've haven't had a negative experience yet. Has public restrooms which are clean. The store is easy to see from the street...you can't miss it.

They are strict about their rules and rightfully so. But they can come off as rude. Never the less they aren't here to be your friend they are here to sell you guns. So I see no harm. Thanks for the knowledgeable staff. I ended up holding off on my purchase because they advised me to take some training courses first!

I went to Mega sports today . Rented a gun and enjoyed firing it at the range. What a great place! They are professionals!!!! Eric was the gentleman that helped me. Took the free (Friday 10am firearms) class today. Instructor was awesome and cared about what he was teaching and made sure all felt comfortable. I then walked by the range and asked the range staff worker questions. He was very polite and addressed all my questions. I did not use the range but look forward to the day I do.

Worst place to buy anything let alone a firearm. First thing that happens when you arrive is you get greeted by an employee asking for your Foid...very rude...no welcome or hello....then you have to wait in line for 30 min to talk to an employee. Let me remind you they DO NOT answer there phone....which is INSANE. Then you get a young kid who is extremely rude and talks down on you when answering your questions. I purchased a firearm on sunday morning from Dan M #245 and was blown away on how rude he was. He kept talking to another employee about how hungover he was from the night before. Then proceeded to act like I was wasting his time with questions. I will NEVER buy anything from Mega Sports again. Don't waste your time!

I used to like to take new shooters here because the range is well lit, well ventilated, and clean, but the nice range is completely negated by staff that is almost a comical caricature of jaded gun shop employees with a serious disdain for their customers. I get secretly hating idiot customers, but try not to be so obvious about it. Prices are way too high to deal with such animosity. It's bad enough to chase away people like myself who will just take their stuff elsewhere, but discouraging people who are just getting started or are trying to learn is harmful to the hobby/sport, and that is bad for all of us.

Guns, guns and more guns. Everything you could probably ask for other then like a 50mg. Huge scope selection. They have good, better and the best scope. Knives galore. Parts, accessories, ammo, clips, gun case's, bags and everything else for your gun needs. There's legitimately has to be 1 million dollars worth of just guns in this place. Love it.

Racist... I have a foid card and my state Id. I was told that I need a water bill to buy a gun. They said that they did not accept State ID'S. I called the store later and asked what identification I needed and was told" driver's license or state ID and foid. Racist.

I come here several times a month to use the range or browse the LARGE selection of guns, etc. Staff has always been friendly and helpful to me. Prices are competitive with other shops. Range is clean, modern and reasonable in price. Decent selection of rentals. Best to come "off peak hours" or there may be a wait. They will not allow you to bring a "non-FOID" guest to range which I think is unfortunate but some other ranges are like that. Overall, a good place to go.

I have had no regrets about going there. I had an issue with my Mossberg, none of it was Mega sports fault. I'd like to add that Mossberg is a great company. Mega Sports gave me clear directions on what to do and even tried to fix it themselves even though it was not part of their responsibility. In addition I have had no question go unanswered and most importantly no bias in the answers given, just clear information.

I have purchased many firearms here and use the range often. I have NEVER had a bad experience. Yes, they do check FOIDs before allowing you to handle a firearm, but that is understandable. You need to keep in mind that this is a single owner business, they follow the letter of the law and then some, it is not worth his business to screw around or mess up on anything. Most of the complaints I hear are people expecting something other then the firm professional atmosphere of this place. If you want your butt kissed go somewhere else, but if you want great, knowledgeable, professional service, this is your store.

Went to mega sports to use their gun range with my wife, to get her acclimated with a firearm after receiving her foid card. Not sure if race had anything to do with it, but we are African American, and were denied access to the range facilities. I have over 14 years of experience with all types of firearms, and was even told that they would not even sell my wife a gun without taking one of their recommended courses. Mega sports pretty much denied out rights as Americans to purchase a firearm. Highly NOT recommended and hope their business fails.

Lots of supplies, good quantities, as long as your not looking for 9mm as per everywhere else. When you drive there on a Saturday afternoon they should advertise they close at 5 but you can't buy anything after 4, so what is the point of this? Let them know on your web site, so they can op to come early, or the next day! Half there store was roped off , no apparent reason. All the accessories were not able to be looked at. Still on normal days they may be good.

Overpriced even for retail. Price gouging due to current gun market. Won't allow the use of cell phones indoors. Apparently only care about your rights if they help them sell you something. They claim cell phone ban is to prevent straw purchases yet there seems to be no restrictions on pen and paper. I think it is to prevent comparison online shopping.

Staff is rude!!! They don't allow cell phone use in store but offer no reason. Note is posted here and there in store. My 1st time there I responded to a txt & staff member barked at me "No cell phones!" An educated professional employee would have politely reminded me of the store's request. Mngnt needs to train and educate staff better. They have a huge inventory and prices are fair but a bit higher than most. If you can find what you want some where else, go there instead of this place. Not a fan of the attitude this store. Wont spend my hard earned money at Mega Sport. They are Mega Jerks!

I waited 2 hours in line to purchase my Taurus Public Defender The Judge firearm. I asked for help in purchasing ammunition for the firearm. I was handed off to a clerk who was not allowed to sell guns but could sell ammunition. The gentleman who sold me the gun told the clerk what type of firearm I had purchased. I followed the clerk who sold me 3 inch .410 shells. The shells were too long for my firearm, and I called the store to explain what had happened. They said that I was unable to return the 3 inch shells as stated on my receipt. I stated that I had asked for help in purchasing the correct ammunition. They said that it was my responsibility to read the owners manual and purchase the correct ammunition. Fair enough, it was a $16.99 plus tax lesson. However, Mega Sport has lost my business because of unreliable customer service.

I have lived in the area for most of my life and s...

I have lived in the area for most of my life and since the age of 18 have frequented mega sports. I promise you will find better customer service just about anywhere else. They are nicer and less discriminative at the dmv, any dmv. My most recent venture to this establishment involved calling them to see if they take trade ins, after being informed that the specific make and model of two of my firearms would warrant trade value by an associate over the phone which ending in bring them in so we can take a look at what you ve got in total and you ll receive X amount of credit . I did just that, I took the morning of my day off, packed up all the original gear and packaging I still had with my firearms and drove to mega sports where the manager even after sharing my previous phone conversation ended my short lived trip with we probably wouldn t be interested .

Ok,I thought, incredibly unprofessional, he didn t even want me to bring them in, he didn t even want to consider what I would be trading in for. But whatever, not gonna ruin my day.

Later I sold both for twice as much as they offered for trade( blessing in disguise right ) so now that I have the money for my old firearms I go back and try to negotiate a better price for the pistol I am looking to get. Same @$$ hole manager won t match the price( I was asking for about $525 out the door which was the exact quote I was given by a shop 40 minutes north of me. ) he wouldn t go any lower than $540.
Whatever , right?, gonna cost as much in gas to go to the other place so I said fine let s do it.

I am pretty damn sure I am his favorite customer because I ve seen that man in that store at least 90% of the time I have entered that store and I can not remember him smiling at a single soul in the last 20 years. But he smiled at me.

While this establishment is well stocked I promise it will be less hassle and a far more pleasant experience simply going ANYWHERE else for your firearms needs.

In conclusion I left there and went and purchased my firearm from a very very nice dealer in Naperville up off Ogden ave. I also had significant help from a dealer out in yorkville, those two dealers are a bit of travel but I promise well worth it ( I did not place business names in this negative review on purpose. I don t wish anyone to be associated or even compared to a s#!thole like mega sports.

Megasport's is a perfect example of what happens when a business gets too high and mighty for itself. I just purchased an RRA LAR-15 with Leupold scope. I had also purchased a upgraded butt stock but when I went to pick up the rifle they had told me that they had sold the stock (which I had already paid for in full) to someone else. The way they said it was "they had bad news", no apology, no we'll make it up to you. What Brian did say is that he would stay on top of this and call to get another stock. After three day of no contact I went to pick up the rifle. I spoke with the manager Scott, who seemed bothered he had to deal with me. He actually gave me free range time after I said you can give me my money back for the scope and insisted on them making up for their mistake. They sold my stock and made me feel like it didn't matter. Then they tell me the scope was already mounted but needed to be dialed in, then ask if I was going to shoot that day because I needed to wait a day for the lock tight to dry on the threads. Then told me how to dial it in. Basically, they just threw the scope on and gave me the rifle to get me out of there. When they were going over the gun, not once did they acknowledge my wife's presence. Yes, she has a foid and will be shooting this gun. Not that megasports cares but I will not step foot in there again! I highly recommend JR Shooting Sports! They take time for their customers.

Mega-waste-of-time!!!!

Mega-waste-of-time!!!!
I called before I drove 35mi and asked about their lay-a-way policy and was told it is 60 days. I was looking for a Les Baer .45 and as it's a 2000.00 gun, asked about extending it to 90 days, but if they wouldn't, just tell me so I wouldn't waste the time to drive out there. I was told it would be worth my time to come out there and they would work with me.
Upon getting there I was told there's no exceptions on their lay-a-way. I told them about the phone conversation, and that they blew a 2000.00 sale for a few weeks. They didn't care. I'd never go there again.

Was told to get out and refused the sale of a rifle because I asked too many questions on how to clean and disassemble it. I am sorry that I know what to ask and understand about a rifle that I know nothing about and make sure that I would enjoy it. But being told to get out and being told "too bad it is too late" to buy one because of my questions is insulting, I would never consider or recommend anyone to go to this store at all. Considering they are rude and not knowledgeable about one of the most common rifles on the market. So I went down the street and got the rifle for the same price and no hassle.
Mega Sports had no problem turning down a 900$ sale because I asked questions. wouldn't even go there again considering they refuse to let my girlfriend in the building to go to the range and shoot, good thing I asked that question yesterday too before I drove up there today with her!!

First-off, be ready to wait in a 3 hour line to simply touch any firearm. Considering I have previously bought from Mega Sports Inc, I was terribly surprised when the salesman informed me that he does not sell any firearms to residents of Cook County. When I asked for an explanation, he stated the reason was "some new" Illinois legislature. As you may or may not know, is incorrect. The salesman also was unable to provide me a date when they would resume sales to Cook county residents. This type of business is totally un-American and unfair considering their inconsistent sales policy. Even after I informed him that I was a combat veteran, the salesman stated he would not sell to me. Rating = POOR.

Began going here in 2004. I bought 4 firearms from them before I stopped because of the pompous and outright rude attitudes I started encountering. It appears other reviews on yelp feel the same way even to this day.

Which leads me to write this review...

Today, my girlfriend goes in to buy an HK P30L for herself. This isn't her first handgun and she has experience firing a variety of calibers (9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .357 Sig and .44 Mag, .223/5.56mm and 7.62mm). She has recently got into firearms/rifles and is all excited about them.

Since I am not with her today, she is texting me on what are the differences between an HK P30 standard and P30L and differences between 9mm & .40 S&W. As I am answering her back via text messages, one of the 'sales' persons tells her that the .40 S&W is too much for her. Good way to 'assume' and judge a woman. She begins asking them questions about the above said firearm and in the meantime is asking me questions as well. They eventually come back to her and tell her they are not going to sell it to her because they think it's a 'straw sell'...??? She's been going back and forth too much on her cell phone and tell her they don't allow cell phones in the store.

So, it appears that this same 'pompous and outright rude' attitude(s) haven't changed much since 14 years ago when I encountered it.

Nowadays, there are so many other gun stores around the Chicago-land area. My advice is to bring your business elsewhere other than this place.

Cons:

Cons:
1. price for two people was $12 more than a place I usually go. I hardly ever stay more than a hour. I only stayed longer here because well it was more money.
2. Only targets you can shoot are the two choices they have.
3. You can't unholster at the line with your cc firearm and shoot it.
4. It's hard to see the markings on the walls. I don't feel it has good lighting. Adequate but not over the top.
5. They don't allow some ammo. Aka aluminum case. Why because they can't make more money off of you for shooting there.
6. Can't even put a elbow on the rest. Other ranges eve have a steady rest to use for free.
7. Staff is kinda rude. I'm a paying customer treat me with some respect and you will receive the same.
8. They make it sound like it's nicer than it is. This is no cleaner than most ranges. The brass you don't push out you pull it back. Kinda stupid someone could fall on all the casings left around.

Pros:
1. No wait place was dead on a Monday evening.
2. Large selection of guns to look at. (Wouldn't buy because they are over priced but it's nice to handle something before you buy it.)

Overall unhappy and I won't be going back. Heard good and bad so I had to see it for myself.

Horrible experience, the staff treated me like a criminal just for looking at a firearm - they didn't know a thing about me accept for the FOID card and I wasn't the only one, my friend who went there, the first thing he said to me about it was that he'll never step foot in there again. My husband and I drove to Mega Sports from Kankakee to look for a handgun and to possibly try out a few at the firing range. My husband has his FOID card, mine had expired and I am waiting for my current card. I was not even allowed INSIDE the store because I did not have a current FOID card. My husband asked him if he knew the law states that as long as he had a card that I was allowed to come with him. The guy said, "yeah, but we just changed our store policy". This was not posted on their website or it would have saved us a trip. My husband asked him why I could not even enter the store...the answer? "Because they had someone come in with a friend who bought a gun for the other guy who didn't have his card" There are so many things wrong with this answer it isn't even funny. I was told that because it was snowing, that I could "stand in the corner" while my husband went inside. I told my husband that I'd wait in the car if he wanted to go look, and he said, "NO way, we'll take our business elsewhere".

They have the rudest front desk girl. Spent $1000 a day before and dealt with her then as my FOID just expired and and an email that says they granted access due to expired related to Covid. All other gun shops are aware of this. This is state law right now. Come back 24 hours later and she treats me the same way as the day before when a manager explained to her the new rules. While we were there she also mistreated 2 others in line. We will not be back because of her so they lost some good business.

Great place to look for what you want, then proceed to a customer service based gun dealer like Presley s in Bartonville. Staff is arrogant and in a hurry to help no one. Also have their own guidelines outside of state laws, like, if your FOID and DL address do not match they don t sell you a gun. Guess they don t need business that bad. Find what you want, go elsewhere.

Last year they seemed to make great progress into reshaping their image with the local gun community. But in recent months it seems they ve gone completely backwards.

They want to see foid cards before you enter the store, citing and I quote it s state law now (it s not)

You need help looking for something? Too bad they are all at the desk in the middle too busy doing paperwork or talking to each other to help you. Maybe if you wait an half hour or so you will get help.

This state is annoying enough with making it hard to get a firearm no need to make it more so with a store that clearly had no ambition on bettering itself.

Do yourselves a favor there are few other stores nearby that will love your money and serve you well.

You lost a 4500 dollar purchase this week and a customer forever. I ll go to a shop that doesn t give me bulls*** right at the door.

First trip to this store. My wife is waiting on her foid card. She was with me. At the door they asked to see our foid cards. I showed mine and told them we are waiting on hers. The store policy is that every adult must have a foid just to enter the store. Bottom line, if my wife is not welcome then I refuse to do business with them. I am a collector and recently moved to illinos. Their loss. I would encourage everyone to shop at a local small gun store instead. Go where your business will be appreciated.

Every time I've been here in the last few years the staff has been rude. I used to shoot here often before they remodeled. As time has gone on the attitude of the staff has become worse. I felt that I was always cordial and never acted in a way that would deserve such rudeness. I will never shop here again.

Went to buy my fist gun this weekend. Tried out a couple rental guns on the range before I decided which gun to purchase even then I was stuck between picking the Glock 19 Gen4 or the Springfield XDM 9mm 3.8. The range was well lit, well ventilated, and clean. Once I was finished I went over to the sales floor to look at the prices for both guns. Once there Mike (salesmen) asked to see my FOID which is reasonable. He went over the guns that I was interested in and answered all my questions until I made my final choice. The staff was knowledgable and courteous. Ultimately I decided on the Glock. Will definitely buy from here again. Ill be back for the Springfield!!!!!!!!!!

Was a bit hesitant to come her based on reviews but seeing how some of the customers act I can understand why the staff is always attentive to their surroundings. Guy came in claiming with his wife and son who is a "cop." The guy said he wanted a gun for his wife and when the time came to pay up she said she "forgot" the FOID. Salesmen told her to come back at another time when she had her FOID. The guy was unhappy and went off on a rant about how the gun was for him and not her even though he had stated it was for her. Meanwhile the son jumps in the argument and makes things worse distracting all the salesmen and taking away their attention from all the other customers who are coming in as serious buyers. Finally they left and the salesmen all proceeded to take care of their customers.

I have visited Mega Sports occasionally for the last 12 years and can say it has gotten progressively more difficult to get reasonable service. The employees are rude and clearly communicate that they are not there to educate you about the products. They create policies/rules specific to their store and in no way accommodate the needs of the customer. Most of their rules as unexpected and make the experience unpleasant; like you must buy their targets to shoot on the range, you can not have your phone visible while in the store, you can not bring anyone to the store that does not have a valid foid card (actually you can wait in the entrance....) just to offer a few examples.
They are overpriced and underserviced - not worth the trip. We have purchased several guns and only one from this store, the first one only - because they just are not worth supporting financially. Having a large store with variety does not compensate for making the purchase impossible on the customer... Try Rinks in Lockport or Big R in Morris or even the big boxes like Gander Mountain in Joliet maybe even Bass in Bolingbrook - anyone of these will give you a better experience.

Check prices elsewhere before you buy. MMI Guns in Minooka would be a great place to start.

Staff is hit or miss. Some are friendly and helpful, a few are paranoid clowns that think you're wasting time.

Was looking into purchasing a CZ. Mega has a nice selection of guns and CZ's so this is a great place to look at different options but I would recommend purchasing elsewhere, even making and FFL purchase online. Some of the people that work there can be very helpful others will be downright rude. When I was there on 3 different occasions I observed that if you are a woman or a new shooter they don't want to deal with you or are very impatient. Plus their prices are ridiculously high! Look there for the selection then buy somewhere else.

After visiting this store for multiple years, I've come to the overall conclusion that this store has some of the rudest employees at any gun store I've visited. When walking in, there's an overall hostile environment created by the managers and is further displayed by the employees. For new firearm enthusiasts, this store is a bad representation for the firearm community and will appear to be very intimidating. Customer service is lacking and you often find yourself waiting for longer than 30 minutes before anyone is available to help you. There are many other valid options for gun stores in the surrounding area, and I will not find myself returning to this store unless it is my last resort.
