Mega Sports Reviews

Been to Mega Sports a few times over the years and have been happy with the selection and service. Recently called for specific rail / scope rings and found that they had them in stock (34mm scope rings not common in my area). The rep on the phone(Unfortunately I ve forgotten his name) was patient, listened, asked questioned and provided options that I was familiar with. He also recommended that I bring my rifle in to verify the rail fitment to avoid issues. I drove the hour to get there on Friday afternoon and found a line to get in (luckily the line was for new gun pick-ups and I was able to skip past). We found the parts I was looking for relatively quickly(wow, I Had forgotten how vast their selection is) and located a tech(Mike Z.) who was happy to go through the dry-fit process for the rail, rings and my scope to ensure the package worked. He spent a good 10-15 minutes with me. He was patient with the process and respected me / my stuff the whole time.

This is great service in my book and reflected my past experiences as well.

The prices for my specific items were better than online by 10$ between the two. So I spent roughly the same money as online retailer but was able to take all of the guess work and waiting for shipment out of the equation (Win/Win).

5 stars all day long, keep up the good work.

This store is as close as a communist company as they come. You walk in, they ask to see your FOID card, it is not necessary to show your ID till you ask to handle a gun. They make you stand in a line as you first walk in and you have to wait to be assigned a salesperson. They don t allow you to use your phone, unless you have a salesperson with you. So you cannot compare prices or research information before you purchase. They have sections closed off so they can control you like cattle, or like you are a criminal. And on top of everything else, NO MILITARY discounts. Stay away, stay far away from this place!

Went in there to buy a gun the first worker that helped us was very polite and helpful. Went to the shooting range to try the gun. I was then serviced by someone who was rude I almost canceled my purchase. I believe his name was Scott.

I went into the store to buy a in the pocket holster for my gun. I knew the holster I wanted. I explained to the sale rep that I wanted to try the holster out first before I bought it. The Sales Rep opened the holster up from the packaging, he cleared and placed a gun that was just like mine in the holster and handed the gun & holster to me. I took the holster with the gun in it from him and placed it in my pocket in order to try it out. At that point, all hell broke out. He started yelling at me at the top of his voice to pull the gun out of my pocket right now, that I just broke the law and he could have me arrested. I was in total shock and embarrassed. I reached in my pocket and handed him the gun and holster right back. I told him if you did want me to place the thing in my pocket, which was the whole purpose of me coming in to the store, he should have told me so right then and there. I just left the store immediately. I never was treated so poorly from a place of business in my life.

I decided to buy a firearm from mega sports in Plainfield even after reading the numerous reviews on how terrible this place was. I walked up to the counter with the firearm I wanted already in mind. I then proceeded to fill out the paperwork for the firearm, paid for it and went about my way with the 72 hour wait period. When returning 3 days later to pick up my brand new Beretta the salesman went in back to grab it and looked over my receipt. While all that was going on another employee was handling my gun and out of the corner of my eye I saw him drop the firearm straight to the floor. When the firearm was given to me I saw the top receiver and sights scratched and a tiny chip on the front sight. Visibly irritated I asked to speak to a manager and was told he was on vaca and to come back in a few days. I returned to mega sports a few days later and spoke with the manager who was a complete A HOLE. When telling him what had gone on I was told the damage was from the factory and if I looked at every firearm in the store that they would all have some sort of defect. My response was then you show me, of course I was told no and was told to leave. I will never return to that dump or deal with another pompous jackass employee again. My advice is don't buy or use anything from this place.

Worst customer service in the industry. No consistency among the employees or the managers for the company policies. Cocky and arrogant are two words that come to mind when describing their employees and managers. Prices are way higher than their competitors.

The good news: they have by far the largest selection in the area - ammo and weapons - nobody else even comes close. The bad news: they know they have the largest selection - and apparently feel that fact justifies their collective attitude. This place is the height of gun-snobbery. There are *maybe* 2 people on staff there that don't act like every customer is a nuisance. The rest, though, act like they'd rather get their teeth drilled than actually help you or answer a question. They jump right down your throat if you do anything they even minutely don't like. I guess I'm used to salespeople actually (gasp!) trying to SELL me something - not acting like I'm interrupting their break time. In the state I'm from, salespeople at firearms stores trip all over each other to help customers. At Mega Sports, on the other hand, you *will* have to hunt someone down. In short - if you know precisely what you want and have ZERO questions about it - and, oh, by the way, don't mind paying obscene prices - hey - Mega Sports is a good choice. If, on the other hand, you have a few questions and don't want to pay a premium for their oh-so-pathetic service - go elsewhere. Or - do what I did: buy online and do the transfer through Breech & Barrel on 59 ($25 ffl transfer). I don't go to MS unless I absolutely can't find ammo somewhere else. What you've read on these reviews is absolutely true.

UPDATE 6/18/14
I've been to MS twice now looking for 22LR (as previously stated, I ONLY go there if I can't find the ammo elsewhere). They do have some - the 325rd boxes thunderbolt - for ***32.99***. Call me crazy but I would have thought that a gun shop would be interested in NOT feeding the hysteria. I would think they would be interested in making the sport as accessible to the masses as possible - and NOT gouging the snot out people. The ammo manufacturers have stated that prices have not changed markedly - nor has supply. WM, when they have it, still has the value boxes in the neighborhood of 5cents per round (22.99 for a 525rd box). Good old megasports - gouging at its finest. I'm done with this store. It's just flat not worth the aggravation.

It s the Ed Debevic s of gun shops. Sure they have a ton of inventory but they are incredibly rude and cocky. Plenty of other shops around now that are pleasant and willing to help. If you liked being talked down to and insulted then this is your place.

There is one employee in particular that is very rude and condesending. He is in his mid 20s with brown hair and glasses. When am looking at thousand dollar guns I feel that I deserve some respect from the salesman.
Mega sports dose have a great selection of guns and ammo, but their lack of customer service will keep me away. Thanks mega sports

Good service and prices at the gun shop in Lockport.

This place is the absolute worst. I am a fresh 21 year old who just bought my first handgun and they took complete advantage of that and scammed me. The salesman switched out one of the three factory glock magazines with an aftermarket pro-mag which was broken. I called two hours after picking up my new glock handgun to make them aware of my findings and for them to swap it out and the salesman denied it over and over again.
I am furious. I even remember the salesman venturing to the back room with paper work and the gun with a magazine in it, leaving two others behind with the other included accessories.
Wish me luck as I return to the store to follow up with this issue. Complete shame.

So here's my take. A lot of good stuff there but it has a corporate feel instead of a friendly place. If you want it, they have it.

I understand there policy of having a foid i had forgotten my foid i went online showed the guy I have an active one I was not going in to buy something I was with my husband, if you guys allowed a kid to go in with there dad why wouldn t I be allowed if I clearly showed him my foid card was active online!!!

Never again will I consider going there. I knew better but went anyway. What a waste of time. I cant understand how they stay in business the way they operate.

Like most of the other reviews here, they just dont treat you very well. They were at one point asking for your FOID card before they let you in the door, which i found to pretty much be a deal breaker for me. (I beleive the negative response to this forced thier hand in stopping this policy). If you are looking to window shop and handle something you are interested in they have a large selection, but i would buy elsewhere even if it cost me a few bucks more. Also the Range fee is over priced. Even if the amenities are nice.

I have bought from them in the past and had a poor experience. Rude, condescending salesmen, impatience, and overpriced. Told myself. Self, I ll never shop there again.
Years went by.
Then they expanded, bigger inventory and all that. So I gave them another chance.
Same story bigger store. Never going back. Pompous A-holes, nicest way I can say it.
Only gave them one star cause there isn t an option for no stars.

The first gentleman that I spoke with to guide me to the range was wonderful, he gets 5 star, but the place as a whole gets 1. The elderly man working the range did not speak much. He was short when he spoke which gives the feel of being judgmental, generally an unpleasant encounter with him. You cannot bring your own targets in and they only have 2 to choose from (a headless silhouette and 6 bulls-eyes on a sheet). The range was poorly ventilated and old, definitely needs updating. After shooting, my buddy and I went to go browse as I am in the market for a new revolver. They are over priced by quite a bit. There were at least 10-15 workers behind the counters, a bunch huddled in the middle by the computers. It appeared some were actually helping people, some where chatting. I made eye contact with 2 guys and gave them the "I need assistance over here" look that anyone in retail has seen before. I did not get so much as a "just a minute," they ignored me, and my buddy had the same experience on the other side of the store. We will not be going back. Despite the massive selection and the ability to rent a large selection, the service (minus the first guy) and range were awful.

I've had mixed experiences the few times I've gone here. They have an excellent range and seem to typically be well stocked on ammo. Customer service is a toss up. Some very friendly and knowledgable folks, and some rather rude folks. When I ask to look at the $300 gun, don't bring me the $1500 gun first.

While store has an impressive collection of guns,sales staff couldn't be bothered to answer any of my questions.

I have read some of the other reviews about rude sales staff but that has not been my experience. Some of the good people that I have talked to are "Alan" and "Mike S." The staff has always been professional with me. They have taken the time to explain clearly and politely all of my questions. One manager even recommended lesser priced item that would work better for me.

This year, 2013, I have made a few purchases and I will agree that you do not get a discount but Mega Sports has an outstanding selection. Everything that a shooter may need is in one store which is bright and well organized. If time is money, you do save time by coming to a place that you know you will find what you need.

The store does have a right to protect it's interests. They know that any gun shop is being scrutinized very heavily. If someone violates the law, they will pay the price, not the customer. Also, agencies send in undercover people who try to see if the establishment follows the rules. Why should the owners risk their livelihood on someone else's stupidity.

Place is a joke yea its a gun super store. Half the people their dont know anything about fire arms or where any of their products are located. I took a day off work to come here and be rushed around and the guy had no idea where any his products were he told me go online. Which they dont have a catalog to look at

I need my FOID card just to enter your store? Seriously?
If I am not goodenough to enter your store without my FOID card to look around, then your not goodenough for my business with my FOID card!

As always, I encountered professional, experienced and personable service. The staff took the time to understand my needs and provided options for me to consider. I drive a hour each way to visit Mega and its time well spent.

No demand for a FOID card at the door, just a pleasant greeting.

Called and told they have huge selection of ammo. Drove 45 minutes to find out that could only buy one box of 9mm. Waste of time.

Being treated like garbage for absolutely no reason denial of sale after wasting my time and showing me guns for 45 minutes following by the most stupid and vague statement of " we don't feel comfortable selling you the gun" please save yourself frustration and buy elsewhere, doesn't matter where as long as its not here maybe when they go bankrupt they realize that customer service is important

Worst shopping experience of my life. Do not waste your time or energy. Was greeted by an arrogant smug counterman on a obvious power trip. Treated my wife and I like we were something on the bottom of his shoe. Was trying to help my wife buy her first firearm as she recently obtained her FOID. Should have listened to the dozens of negative Yelp reviews before going in. Found another gun dealer locally that treated us great. It s a shame, they lost thousands in revenue just by being a bunch of A-holes.

Went to checkout a few items and asked about the return policy. When I was told I could return my knife I just bought, I asked if I could leave my things and go to grab my knife to return it. I had 4 minutes left before closing and they locked the doors on me. It's an hour long drive. My time wasted because they wanted wanted to leave a little early.

Fantastic selection of defense rifles. Very thorough and professional service.

Waited in line over an hour to purchase a firearm, but gave up, because my time is precious. They just don't have the capacity to handle the demand, so be prepared to wait an exuberant amount of time to make your purchase.

Buyer beware cancellation fee is $35 when you decide not to go through with the purchase of a firearm after a background search. The man at the counter called it a re-stocking fee even though I never took possession of the weapon. Full disclosure I did sign an agreement with the stated fee. I had the same situation happen a few years ago at Gander Mountain and their fee was the $5 to run the background search. I highly doubt I'll ever buy a gun from Mega Sports.

Great selection, but the owner refused to accept orders on two high end guns he did not have in stock (Henry 44-40 and Colt Competition 1911). I've never had other shops refuse to take an order on something they didn't have in stock. I was willing to wait, but they said no. Prices are reasonable, but lower at another large shop I frequent. Ok gun store, but I won't be going back.

Don't waste your time!! Went in today to purchase a new shotgun. I had 3 grand cash in my pocket. I knew what I wanted and was there to buy. I happened to have a employee of mine with me. Just because my worker pointed, didn't even ask about anything. Just pointed at a totally different shotgun. These jackbags not only made me go threw all of the paperwork just to say No! Wasted 30 mins of my time and I still don't have a shotgun! So not only will I never step foot in there again. I am taking my business down the road to a shop that actually likes the fact that a father of six is just trying to protect his family!! I should have know just to walk out after it took 10 mins for someone to even acknowledge I was there. We where two of four customers at that time. The first guy I was speaking with was great. Then for some dumb reason his manager stepped in to "finish it". 10 mins later after all of their paperwork was finished and I was pulling cash out of my pocket. I was told no. See here is what gets me. My father inlaw "retired", brother inlaw "active", Uncle "active" all local law enforcement. My sister and her husband military. I am a small business owner with a large family. This was definitely not my first purchase. NEVER HAVE I BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS EVER!!!!

Love the gun range. Each time I've come to shoot I never have had to wait.
Looked at a particular gun I'm interested in and the gentleman that showed it to me was very nice and knowledgeable about the item.
I will be back.

The service was very slow but once I got a gentleman available he knew what he was doing seems like the younger guys didn't even see me there I'm 60 years old and I didn't have much patience left I was about ready to walk out when the gentleman came up to me and took care of me

0/10 buy your guns online. This place has no customer service. They don t care if you stand there for a hour or 2 and they still won t do anything. Even if you try to ask they say one second the. Just ignore you and eventually leave. This place is so terrible honestly so bad never going here again

They have a lot of stuff but why do I have to have a Foid card to enter? I don't have to have a Foid card to buy a T-shirt or a holster I feel like they are discriminating against certain people. This is a free country, is it not? I think the process to enter their store is strange, why must you ask me what I am there for and also why must I have to come back and stand in line if I wanna look at a gun? Very non customer friendly...

Ok where to start, so first walked in the door and I just see guns and more guns. I was pretty excited. I walk over to the AR 15 section with all of the accessories and start asking the guy some questions and he had no answers for the questions I was asking and it's not like I was asking The max effective rage of a point target on an M4, I was asking basic ass questions that a gun store employee should know. The guy had no clue.
Then I look down and see the lowers and I saw the most insane prices I have ever seen. I saw a stripped Anderson lower for 89.99, I could not believe what I was looking at. Everywhere else in America they are 59.99 but for some reason theirs were 89.99 maybe they were made of gold and then they cerakoted them in black, I could have asked but the employee probably didn't know the answer. I'll go there again just to handle a weapon I am interested in to see if I like it but I won't buy from them. I'll buy it online then pay a transfer fee and still get it cheaper.

Rude salespeople is all I have to say!!!! Read the reviews. all the negitive reviews on here are correct. Very large selection to window shop but save yourself some money and buy elsewhere. I did buy numerous guns from here in the late 90's with great service and customer care. This store has changed very much for the worst.. I will never step foot in Mega again.

I give mega sports a chance ever so many years.. Everytime I do I get the same results.. Terrible service, rude employees, employees lacking in knowledge.. The kids in their early 20s are awesome, good help but are young and don't always have answers for me.. Every single other person I've ever talked to in there is rude beyond compare.. There disrespect to customers is unreal..

I am disappointed to say that I have had a bad experience here. I Purchased ad sight along with some other cleaning items on a tuesday. I decided on Wednesday that the sight I bought was not what I was looking for. The box was unopened and still factory sealed. Receipt clear stated that returns were excepted within 21 days. When I went to return the item, i was asked numerous questions about why I was retuning the item and was given looks as if i was wrong. I was treated as I didn't know what I was doing. after being questioned for 10 minutes the return was finally done. As I walked out the young girl at the counter along with 3 other people, I am summing managers stared at me like I was not welcome there. I would like to say the 2 employees and the Rifle counter were very nice and helpful but management treated the customers and we did not belong there. I am sad to say this will be my last time ever shopping at this store and I will pass along this information to anyone thinking of going in there. I would also like to state that majority of their prices are extremely high. I am sure this is to pay the employees that stand around and judge their customers. I would highly recommend that the owner review customer service with all employees and think about changing their management styles.

Great assortment of anything you need very friendly and helpful staff without being pushy

I ve been here twice. Once on the range and once to shop around. Both times my friends and I were treated with respect and staff was friendly. Both times I ve gone the staff seemed eager to share share any information pertaining to firearms or other products I was interested. Prices were fair/reasonable. Their inventory is huge! in both firearms and accessories.

Would give a better review but the people that work here are something else. No customer service whatsoever!

$36 for a brick of target .22, price gauges trying to take advantage of the situation, I take my money elswere.

The staff took their sweet time processing my paperwork for my firearm. They would stop multiple times to have a conversation among themselves, completely ignoring me. If you decide to buy a gun here, be prepared to clear your schedule for the day.

They wouldn t let me in the store without showing a foid card. I drove 40 miles to see if I could find a nice pistol safe and they didn t let me in. Supposedly because they have been very busy, they had about 10 -15 people in the store. They don t have anything posted on the website saying you need a foid card to get in the store.

They make you feel like a criminal when buying ammo. they asked my GF that was standing next to me for her foid after i handed them mine. They refused to sell the ammo to me unless she showed them her's. They said it's store policy encase i'm buying it for her... I will NEVER go there again, and if your smart, you won't either... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED, BUT HE'S NOT... HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS.

Big store I will say that they have a good gun selection. It s a great place to go if you want to look but nothing more then that. I have tried to purchase a gun from them. But will not sell to me because I don t have a DL. Upon talking to a few people and research on the internet all you need is a state ID. This is the only place that gives me an issue. Also stood there for 40 mins before they confronted me. Yes I do posses a Foid Card and I m 21. I don t see the problem. Illinois residence have the same process to obtain a state id that they do for a DL minus the driving test. I shouldn t have to beg someone to take my money.

Poor customer service and high priced The only reason I have them 2 stars was because big there selection, which was huge. Stood in for an hour inline waiting for service to buy my first gun. Felt very rushed. After looking at a few 9mm guns was told to take a look around by myself and if I decided on something to let them know. After finding what I was looking for it took 45 more minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Then I was told I had to wait in the back of the service line again for service. HORRIBLE. I just walked out.

BEWARE!!!! Terrible customer service not to mention the evening "manager". This store needs to fire all the employees and hire and train real sales associates that want the company to be successful and grow if they want to stay in business.Do not waste your time or MONEY ESPECIALLY here. Most of the way through a check out process and they tell me you can't buy an AR in cook county. FINE, but tell me that before I fill out all the paperwork. And, asked if I could see if a part would fit before I bought it, and was told they'd have to charge me an install fee.... I didnt want it installed, I just wanted to make sure it would line up.

And when I asked for help on a holster, they said they were busy..... very rudely. No "we'll be with your shortly or anything" 3 STRIKES, YOUR OUT!

Was standing in front of the counter where the handguns multiple times for minutes.. and not once did anyone get close to ask if I needed help or wanted to look at something. Only person that asked me if I needed help was a Kid that was 19 and unfortunately he could show me handguns because of age.

I was there to buy a H&K VP9 Tactical but I just gave up and left. Not coming back.

This was my first time in Mega Sports, and I'm glad I gave them a shot even after reading all the horrible reviews. First off a few things.

1) you DO NOT need a FOID to enter, but you do need a FOID to purchase (obviously)

2)They do have a policy of no phones inside the building by customers, I did hear someone get told to take their phone out to their car (their store, they can do what they want)

When I entered I was greeted by the cashier with a friendly "hello, how are you doing." I was doing just fine, and replied as such. I proceeded to walk around and look at the store. First off this store has EVERYTHING, wall to wall guns and accessories, also a shooting range. I was there for ammo, so I went to the ammo wall after browsing a bit. There was a gentleman there stocking, I asked him how the ammo was arranged, he told me by caliber and asked if I had any questions. I did not and found what I was looking for. Told him thanks for his time and continued to browse. I walked around looking at pistols while having a few other employees ask me "If I needed help with anything." Told them I was just looking and went about my business. Went to check out and again was not hassled. Talked with a manager who was working the register (he came out from the office to help me), we even discussed the bad reviews online and said he didn't understand where it all came from. I told him he had a great store and I would probably be back in the future. Shook his hand and finished my transaction.

I would be interested to be in there on a weekend when its busier, I was in on a Tuesday around 12pm. I would recommend Mega to others, and let them judge the business and employees for themselves.

STAY FAR AWAY!!!! Unless you like to be talked down to, treated like a piece of garbage for no reason at all, and then pay more for the firearm then any other place, for some reason they think that they are above everyone. Again STAY AWAY and let them go belly up with no sales

Huge place. Great selection of firearms, knives, cases, and accessories. Prices seem on par with averages. Staff was friendly and helpful. Security is tight and they take careful measures to avoid shady sales. I have purchased firearms here in the past, and gone with friends while they make purchases as well. For me the location is not great, but that s as much my fault as theirs, right? Pretty much whatever you want, they have.

The sales staff there are fairly professional but the staff at the range are perhaps in need of some training. 2 occasions where range staff play the "i see you but i don't see you" game ; they do appear to be a bit selective about who get to use the range when there is a line.

I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The largest selection of guns you will find, but everything is over priced. Staff was beyond rude and not very knowledgable.

They have an incredible selection. It is an excellent place for all the cul-de-sac commandos to gear up. A fine shop with a highly professional way of dealing with the times.

My family was stopped outside the door and refused entry because my wife did not have a FOID card, and they would not let kids in either. This was just to the store, not the range. Man at the door was rude and arrogant. I will never, as long as I live, step foot in this store or spend one dime there.

This place is more for the high end customer. Law enforcement and the high end customers come here. For me, the prices are too high. I go to other places that cater to law enforcement officers to buy a pistol or ammo. I come here for the range. This range is very clean and lit. I like talking to 2 of the guys that are back there. And plus, this is the only range I know, locally, have a sink with lead free soap. They watch you carefully so you won't hurt yourself or others. One time, a loud voice was on the speaker and told one of the customers to point the gun down range. The other ranges, they don't watch you like this one. Other have cameras too, but are busy doing something else. Here, they have a dedicated person for the range.

Have not used the range but went in there to get information and the 2 people I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable.

They do not try to push you to a certain brand. They just provide you facts.

after years of avoiding this store I went in. I had the best experience to date. Salesman named Stew was knowledgable and very courteous. Because of him, i will certainly go back again

Larger selection of arms. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I went in to look at a new conceal weapon. Stood at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting to be helped. Nobody came along to help so I pulled out my phone. The "gentleman" working across the counter abruptly asked me to put my phone away then turned his back to me. I responded by asking if I could get some help and he very rudely told me I needed to get in line at the front of the store for gun assistance. At that point I abruptly walked out and said "Never mind" to the guy. Never coming back. Douche bag employees.

Inviting staff, not something a lot of gun shops can say. They are very thorough in the knowledge of their products and what is on the market and coming soon.

Wide range of weapons! Staff is knowledgeable! Be prepared to wait for service as it can be busy on the weekend.

Yesars ago, this store treated their customers - especially women- badly. Then things turned around. I bought several pistols and related items from them and used their range frequently. I was treated very well, especially considering when I first patronized them, I was a woman with little knowledge. I haven't been to Mega Sports in quite some time because it's a long drive but I needed some records so I called them. The first salesperson I spoke to was rude and even refused to give me his name when I asked. (Daniel, thanks for nothing!) The second person was nicer. However, I was told I could not get my records and that the only way to obtain them would be by way of a police report and even then only the police could obtain my records. How stupid is that!? My firearms are still in my possession. I just wanted dates of purchase because I lost my records. Store policy! All my other FFLs gladly looked up my records. I am now a very active and proficient shooter. I'm waiting for receipt of a renewed CCL. I will never go back to Mega Sports and will tell all my friends and clients to avoid the place as they apparently have reverted back to their old ways. Shame on them! With all the new competition, you'd think they would treat their customers better than that. I'll bet no one will even reach out to me.

I have been to this store two times. The first time I entered the store, the person in the front desk asked me for FOID even though other customers who came in where not asked to provide a FOID. I felt singled out based on my looks (hispanic with tattoos). But , I still gladly handed him my FOID and went along my day. Most employees in the store did not approach me even though I had every intention of purchasing a nighthawk custom or equivalent 1911 that day. The one employee who approached me was very rude to me and I was immediately put off by all the circumstances up to that point. I left and promised to never come back. Second time, I came back to try and sell two very unique pistols I own. They did not ask me for my FOID before entering the store this time. But, the individual who looked at my pistols asked me questions that clearly hinted that he had the intuition that I stole the firearms that I brought in. They did not even offer me a single penny for the firearms. I strongly discourage anyone to do business with this place. I felt discriminated and unwanted every second I spent in this store.

Terrible terrible customer service multiple people there are asses very few are pleasant to talk to about firearms.

Awesome store...great selection of guns and the only reason i gave 3 stars is cause they do make you feel like your doing something shady when all your tryingvto do is get a new firearm.... needless to say i did not purchase a gun from them cause of that reason. I like to feel comfortable when i spend my hard earned money

Always great and professional service. When everyone else is out of stuff Mega is always stocked! Make sure when you visit that you have your Foid & drivers license
