McGeorges Rolling Hills RV SHATTERED our uneasy feelings about Camping World RV sales. The professionals at McGeorges made our buying experience a pleasure. We have been shopping for a new View for over a year. We have walked away from other dealers in the last stages of the deal, Not so at McGeorges. Their pricing was fair and never changed thru the buying process. Our Salesman, David Polsen was motivated and easy to deal with. Demonstration person Mark, was knowledgeable and detail orientated. Service, minor defects were found during our final inspection and were remedied immediately. Our sales manager, Bo Hurst was direct but honest. Ron the Business manager was knowledgeable and thorough. The one who made the deal for me was Nat the General Manager. He took the time to talk to us (twice) and proved to be a individual of integrity. If you are tired of the Bait and Switch and High Pressure tactics of other RV dealers, and want a fair deal with nice people, go to McGeorges Rolling Hills RV.

Cindy Harris our salesperson pays attention to detail
She has made multiple phone calls, to help facilitate options and extras with camping world service department. ( I should mention, on her day off)
Making sure all was set for the delivery date and time. She is both knowledgeable and patient. We learned of Cindy through a friend that also had bought their
RV with Cindy, and spoke highly of her. I am a detail type guy, and all of my details have been attended to.
Thanks Cindy.

Update and a regain of confidence in Mcgeorges camping world.
My compliments and thanks to Richard Roberts in service and our salesperson Cindy Harris.
After numerous unanswered phone calls while returning from a trip we drove into ashland to address some issues we had with our 3 week old travel trailer. Richard Roberts met personally with us and sat and listened to our issues and spent an hour of his time listening. After our conversation he had service attend to two immediate issues and resolved both. He then ordered a part to complete our immediate needs and agreed to replace the ordered part when it arrived. Also thanks to Cindy Harris who facilitated our meeting with Richard. It is reassuring to see that there are these two people that helped us remain confident that even after the sale we will be taken care of at the Ashland camping world. Looking forward to seeing you next week Richard so we may continue our summer travels with our needs attended to.
If your looking to buy, see Cindy Harris, and after the fact, feel confident that Richard Roberts will do his best to keep you on the road.
McGeorge is lucky to have these two people taking care of their customers.
Thanks again you two

We highly recommend Mcgeorge's for your next RV purchase. Doug and the rest of the team there were absolutely awesome. We had a great buying experience and we can't wait to get camping again! Plus we got a pretty incredible deal!!!

Buyers beware! This dealership uses high pressure tactics to buy an RV from them. If you find an RV that you like, I guarantee you will find the same one elsewhere at a far better price. When I presented 3 of the same campers priced elsewhere they claimed they called and they weren t the same and that was the reason for a lower price. I compared the dealer invoices between the two dealerships and they were identical. The Mcgeorges team claimed their price was the best! We bought our camper from the other dealer and saved $7500! The Mcgeorges price is also inflated with add on charges that other dealerships don t charge for. Please take the time research other dealers and don t be pressured into their false claims and regret your decision.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Had a good experience when we first bought our camper. BUT we tried to see if we could upgrade our camper while it was getting routine service and our sales guy didn't even want to try and make an upsell. He didn't want to try and work with us in any way. Then when the camper was being serviced we were contacted to see if we wanted it de-winterized and my husband said yes. We brought it home and ran water through the lines and the fresh water tank just to check and the camper wasn't even de-winterized. So we paid for a service we didn't even get! We were very dissatisfied that sales didn't even want to take our money and make a trade and that we paid for a service we didn't even get! We will not be coming here anymore due to the very lazy staff and disorganization.
One and only positive: Love the lounge area attendant. She has a great personality and very personable. She should be in the front area instead of stuffed in the back.

Wonderful experience throughout the entire process! Everyone we encountered ws very professional and knowledgeable. No one was pushy. We will definitely be back when we decide to upgrade and will recommend them to friends!

Sales was excellent helping us through what was an otherwise miserable experience. Our most recent visit was caused by a collateral exchange because of damages that were not identified earlier. They stood by their word and we are excited to head out with our new camper in a few days. Robert Petry gave us his utmost attention and ensured that there was follow up all along the way. If you re going to visit, I highly recommend you look him up.

Just purchased a new travel trailer from Greg Perronie and had a great experience. Got an excellent deal on a new trailer and would definitely recommend this salesman and dealership to others.

I purchased my first RV from McGeorge's 2 years ag...

I purchased my first RV from McGeorge's 2 years ago and had a good experience so now that it's time for us to upgrade to a bigger unit I contacted them about trading in my unit. I spoke to Dan (one of the sales managers I believe) who told me they would be able to give me approximately $18K for my RV. That sounded like a fair price so Dan put me in contact with a sales rep (Kevin J) whom we made an appointment with for Saturday morning. So I travel 1.5 hours to their facility (I live in Va Beach) with every intention to trade in my RV and purchase a different one. I had found 2 used units on their website that looked as if they would meet our needs.
The first unit that we looked at had major water damage and the entire rear of the unit would have to be replaced. I was amazed that an establishment of this size would even sell something in this condition. When I asked Kevin if we wanted to buy this unit could the wall be replaced/repaired. He said no that they don't do that sort of thing. So they are going to sale an RV that has an entire wall rotten from water damage!!!!! Not very good business practice in my book, and I probably should have walked away then, but I pressed on.
The second unit seemed very promising. My initial inspection of the unit found that it had a few mechanical issues (slides not aligned right, one of the tires bald on one side and a little damage to the front corner of the unit) but nothing real major and Kevin assured me that these problems would be fixed if we purchased it. Great, sounds good. But I am very thorough when it comes to inspecting something of this nature that I am going to buy so I continue looking everything over and I find quite a few small repairs that need to be made; and Keven is with me the entire time jotting down what I find. I didn't expect them to repair every tiny issue, I'm more or less inspecting to see how much work I would have to put into it after I bought it. As we progress Kevin seemed to get more and more "annoyed" at the issues that I was pointing out but I continued as this is the way I proceed to help myself make a solid decision of whether or not I want to purchase this unit. So anyway I decide that for the right price I would proceed with trading in my RV for this one so I tell Kevin let's sit down and talk numbers.
So we sit down inside, I tell Kevin of the trade in value that Dan informed me of yesterday and what I would be willing to pay for this unit which was only a couple thousand less that what they had it listed for, after all it would have required quite a bit of work on my part to get everything repaired and I feel that my time is valuable and the unit should be worth full retail value if it's not in tip top shape. So Kevin takes that information to the sales managers desk. When he comes back this is where everything goes south. Now they tell me that my trade is only worth $15K and they are not going to come down on the price even though it needs repairs.
So first off, I find it completely unprofessional that they told me on the phone that they would give my one price for my trade in and dropped it $3K when it was time to make a deal and they won't come down on price for a unit that needs numerous repairs. Second, I found out that they don't even look at repairing these used units until someone signs paperwork to buy them so they really don't even know what they're selling (i.e. the RV that had a wall completely rotted).
I know they're a large volume dealer and most of that is probably new units but you would think an establishment of this size would have steps/procedures in place to ensure that they are still selling quality used units.
Needless to say I will not be buying my second RV from McGeorge's.

We had the pleasure of working with Robert Petry when purchasing our new travel trailer. He has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process, even calling us to answer questions on his day off. We would definitely recommend Rob if you are in the market for a new camper!

Robert our sales guy was great! Came accross as helpful and genuinely concerned with making sure our needs were met. He took his time and was patient with all of our many first time RV camper questions! Thanks for the pointers and camping advice too!!

No complaints with McGeorges. This review is about our salesman, Robert Petry. Robert was outstanding. He worked with us for roughly 1 year. Yes it took me that long to pull the trigger but Robert was more than happy to keep working with me every time I wanted to talk or look at units whether they were new or used. He never pushed me to buy something I didn t want but he did help guide me and give his opinion when asked. If you are in the market for a camper or rv, ask for Robert Petry. He will take care of you.

Bought a nice used camper in spring 2015 from McGeorge. They were very nice to deal with during purchase process. When we looked at the camper there was absolutely no odor in it. When we arrived to pick it up, they had the AC blasting. When we got it home, we realized that there was a strange odor in it. Evidently they had treated it with something before we picked it up. After multiple calls back to them, we finally got a response telling us to leave the windows open to air it out. It's been 4 years & no amount of "airing it out" has made any difference. We even put our upholstered chairs out in the hot sun to try to get the smell out. We are in our 5th season of camping & once again I'm trying to find something to get rid the odor left by McGeorge.

We are first timers in the RV market and we feel very lucky that we happened to stop in to McGeorge Rolling Hills RV. Our salesperson, Cindy Harris, went above and beyond over the course of the hottest weekend of the summer. She was very knowledgeable and patient as she showed us a variety of styles of class C RVs, travel trailers, bunk houses, toy haulers and Fifth wheels to see which we liked best. She took the time to demonstrate all of the features of each one we looked at and, since we are first timers, she took the time to educate us on every aspect of the units, their capabilities and camping life in general. There was never any pressure to buy or to up-sell us at all. Cindy made the whole experience pleasurable as she was friendly, accommodating and really just a breathe of fresh air. We took the time to sleep on our decision to purchase and Cindy encouraged us to do so as it is a big investment and she wanted us all to feel 100% comfortable with the decision. We totally recommend that,if you are in the market for a new RV, go to see Cindy.

We had a great experience at McGeorge/Camping World. AUSTIN HAYNES was our salesman. He bent over backwards to make the sale of our used travel trailer happen including free repairs. I would like to thank the rest of the staff as well for getting every thing done so thoroughly and quickly.

Thank you Rodney Carroll for your incredible assistance. Mc George's was a great place to look. Although we will not buy for a year or so, Rodney was very helpful and knowledgeable about his product. Thank you!!!

If you want good service on your RV....DONOT go to McGeorge's Rv !! The Service Reps. tell you that it should be 2 weeks to get the job done and it ends up being 2 months. You can call and leave messages and still no response. They do not keep you updated on what's going on unless you go in person. I actually had to call Good Sam's complaint office before the reps would call back. Even though I had an extended warranty they did not won't to do the work all kind of excuses. When cleaning the Rv after their work, I found thing broken with no notice. Things on back order and still have not receive them after 7 months! So if you want good service go somewhere Else.

Hands down the best experience I could have asked for. From the front desk reception to the sweet girl in the waiting room and every step between. When I entered the dealership, I was greeted by a fantastic salesman Ken Wilson who was eager to answer all my questions. He sat down with me to find out my wants, needs, and budget. He was very knowledgeable and patent with me. I had a ton of what I call stupid questions by he didn t see it that way. I was very impressed how he always kept my budget in mind when showing me the stock items. Never one time offering anything above my budget until I asked and even than kept me close to my original budget. He completed the purchase by making sure I was completely satisfied and comfortable with my decision. Ken Wilson by himself deserves a 5-star rating but it didn t stop there. On the day of delivery, we worked with a great group of people. Ron Vraux (financing), Jim Schrier, Mark Johnson & Cam Speas (service). Ron helped us quickly through the process as to not overwhelm us. Once again, extremely knowledgeable answering all questions. When we did the walk through with Mark he was very patent paying close attention to assure we knew every detail about our new purchase and how everything worked. Cam set up our hitch fully explaining how it functioned with our truck and trailer combination. When we were finished Jim again made sure we had everything completed and addressed all needs. Even Ken (parts) made sure we had everything we needed with a great willingness to address all questions. Not one time during our visit did we feel as if we were being over sold. Hands down I have been spoiled by the attention to detail and customer service I received with the staff at McGeorge s Rolling Hills RV.

Glad McGeorge has competition in the area. Their prices are actually very good, but the people there are pretty clueless. McGeorge has extensive inventory, so you could go to see it, but committing to this place, bleh. My family once looked at a camper and they didn t put the stabilizers down and the entire thing see sawed, me and my husband each grabbed a flying kid (my two kids were 2 and 4 years old that time), which is the first memory we had in a camper. It s just disturbing when you re investing so much in to a camper and an RV purchase and you ve done your research, then you show up with questions and you feel like you know way more than the person you re asking.....hmmm. McGeorge has a pretty standard 6 month waiting list for any service on your RV. Six. Months. They ll tell you they can get it done in four, but it takes six, so you re kissing goodbye an entire season! Good grief...they d be better off renting out RVs. So glad a few other places have popped up along 95.

Worst saleman I have ever dealt with by far. Drove 3 hours and wouldn't even show us the campers we were interested in. He was very critical on every model we liked to see and was very rude with no patience. We had plan on coming home with a camper that day.

Emailed Cody Cooper ahead of time, and let him know which trailers we wanted to look at and see what else would fit our needs. When we arrived, he had them ready for us to look at. He knew all the details of the trailers and was able to answer any questions that we had. When we decided on which trailer we would like to purchase, and what we wanted on the trailer, he was able to get us a real good deal. Recommend if you are looking for a trailer, to ask for him.

Every year since our purchase in 2013, we have to call service department and leave message multiple times to make an appointment for inspection. Come on guys. We need it in August so we can take it on vacation in September!

Robert Petry greeted us as we walked in the door. We told him what we were after and Robert took us on a golf cart to see what was in stock. He never pressured us, answered all our questions and when he didnt know the answer, he found out. He made the experience of purchasing very enjoyable.
On the day of delivery, our appointment for the walk through was set for 11:00. We sat and waited until after 12:00 before our representative (Sarah) came to get us. She explained everything very well and answered our questions thoroughly. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about our trailer. While in walk through a technician came and told us our hitch was not going to pull our trailer and we ended up in a slightly heated discussion. In the end, the hitch we have is fine for what we will be towing, but his approach left a bitter taste in our mouths for the service dept.
Just before delivery was complete, we were told the stereo in our trade was not operational and we may need to cover replacement. We walked out to our trade with our salesman and the system was working just fine!
What was supposed to be a three hour delivery process, took five hours also due to a malfunction in our queen bunk bed in our new trailer.
All in all, we were very happy with the service Robert gave us and Sarahs friendliness on the day of delivery.

I purchased my Class C last month, and because I had Devin Barber whom was very patient, extremely honest and trustworthy from the get go, that I DID make the purchase. I have been in the sales business/owner for over 25 years, so I have seen the changes in my industry for sure and unfortunately some not for the good. On my initial contact by phone, I was already feeling in a 'heighted state of doubt" based on the question/answer session I had encountered with a "sales manager" as I hung up the phone. But I went anyway, as the Rig had many features I was looking for. Unlike other sales reps. I have dealt with over the years, If Devin was asked a question, ( and he got a ton of them from me), and if he did not know the answer...He went and found out! I have found that to be a very rare quality nowadays in the sales world as many are just out for the sale and tell you what they "think" you want to hear! Devin is a rare find these days, and from the initial meeting to the close of the deal, he was excellent to work with! He also did EXACTLY what he said he would do AFTER the sale, as I had a few item issues on the RV, and he followed up with me, as we progressed through that process as well! (Meaning I did not have to track HIM down for answers)! Kudos to McGeorge's for having an employee with his integrity as I believe he is a real asset to your company!!

I went there not knowing what to expect but left extremely pleased with my whole experience. Mike Shefcyk is the manager if you're lucky enough to work with him he will really take care of you. Ask for Josh Blizzard in sales, he is not pushy and extremely knowledgeable -- then tell him you want to speak to his manager Mike --- he's the cute one ;) ;) ;) !!!!!!!

Walked into McGeorge s RV and soon connected with our sales rep, Cindy H. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the RVs that we were interested in. Soon enough we made an offer that was readily accepted. We felt good about our deal and didn t feel pressured into something that we would later regret. Happy Campers looking forward to years of enjoyment.

Service Department: .5 star Customer Service: .5 star
This email is to complain about service I recently received from Camping World at McGeorge's Rolling Hills 11525 Sunshade Lane Ashland, VA 23005 on 23 September 2017. I have spent most of this summer working with McGeorge's for several issues until it became apparent McGeorge's still needs to improve their customer service and service department.

I brought my RV to MCG in June to repair an MCG in the bedroom of my 2015 Journey. While the McGeorge's was checked, the technician dropped the valence and his power drill punctured the fabric on the valance. McGeorge's apologized and advised me McGeorge's would order a replacement. Two months went by; I called at least twice to see if the valence had arrived. The valence was eventually ordered, the issue was Camping World completing the acquisition of McGeorge's . This was understandable. Finally the valence arrived and I made arrangements to drop off my RV.

I dropped off my RV on 16 September 2017; this is a drive of 2.5 hours from my home in MD to McGeorge's . I provided a list of seven issues and asked if the RV would be available the following Saturday, 23 September 2017. The customer service person assured me it would be ready and McGeorge's would even call me when my RV was ready. In addition, I called on 18 September to add one item to check (front auxiliary lights would not turn on) and asked if the RV would be ready on 23 September. The reply was Yes, it will be ready when you arrive Saturday morning by the customer service person.

I arrived and not only was the RV not ready, it had not even been touched / repaired. I waited several hours as the customer service person advised me there were two service technicians working on my RV. This is when it went from bad to ridiculous. The valence McGeorge's had received was not the correct model / version for my Journey. The primary reason I had driven and spent time at McGeorge's for approximately 12 hours over two Saturdays was to have this valence fixed because McGeorge's damaged it.

Ricardo did a great job showing us there line of campers.he was very knowledgeable and deserves a raise for sure, but we went with a 2 year old Winnebago that has been used twice before the owner started having health problems. If we like camping I would definitely give him another chance to sell me a new one.

We love McGeorge's RV! Kriss Williams was our Salesman and walked us through our first purchase in a seamless, professional manner with no pressure. Truly a great experience. We were treated well by all of the employees that we encountered there from sales to finance to their well staffed service department. We recommend them to anyone interested in a great camping experience.

I am new to Central Virginia, and after driving our Diesel Pusher from Southern California to Richmond VA, it needed some repairs. The list was long, but not very difficult. I took the Motorhome in around the beginning of October 2019. It took me a few calls to reach a Service Advisor I order to make an appointment. That should have been my first indication of poor service. Fast forward to April 2020! They still have my RV and never return phone calls or provide update..unless they need authorization to make a repair, than they will call and text until you respond. I have put in 5 calls to the General Manager, Dan Kinser, who does not even have the courtesy to call me back. After the 5th call, I received a return call from the Service Manager who agreed this is not right and he assured me he was on top of it..and he would call
Me back the next day with an update. That was 2 weeks ago! No call, no text, no follow up. Did I mention I paid them over $10,000 for the repairs in December because the Service Advisor asked me too..so they can close the books out! I cannot wait until I get my RV back and I will never recommend, support or refer them. I will also be reaching out to Camping World corporate and Good Sam. I realize this is a franchise, but it still says Camping World on the door! Stay away from them and do you research before allowing them to do anything!! Did I mention I even paid them to Winterize my Coach, that day at their yard and the Service Advisor says well, we aren t charging you storage! -seriously???

So me and the wife decided to give McGeorgeRV a shot at business.. we ended up purchasing an Rv that day. The team their is awesome my sales man was Ronald Carroll. This young man was very professional and not pushy at all .. he treated us like VIP from the start!!! Drove us around the lot till We decided what we really loved. He highly recommended the sliders... and broke down PROS&CONS!! Very knowledgeable young man and although his 6 foot 4 inch frame was a bit intimidating he was a big bear.. I even kept his number and will remain In touch!! There finance team is second to none.. I worked with Tim Swick he was awesome had the deal I wanted and deal done in what appeared to be minutes!! I would highly recommend McGeorge RV to any one whom is interested in purchasing RV.

We can t wait to get out camping!

My wife and I purchased a used Class C motor home after looking at several others at McGeorges and online sites.

Our sales associate, Joshua Blizard took us on a search through about 7 or 8 RV s of the type of used RV we were seeking. We test drive a reviewed these before settling on the 2017 Forest River Sunseeker.

Josh and all the staff at McGeorge s- Camping World could not have been more friendly, helpful and answered the many questions we had. The sale went smooth and then we were provided with a several hour long item by item, inch by inch walk through and explanation/demonstration on all items, systems of the RV,

All in all this was a superb experience and I congratulate Joshua and the management of McGeorges for the great experience we had in our purchase.

Horrible place. Weren't looking to buy and they left us immediately. We went looking at RVs, and when we went to enter one after being told we could they yelled at us. Would give 0 stars if I could, horrible experience. If you're looking for a really good RV place, go to Dodd RV and ask for Scott. Great service, very helpful, very personable, and very knowledgeable. So, if you don't want to waste your money at this place only to have your RV break down 5 times every year, spend it at Dodd RV and get a good quality RV for cheaper. Also they have really good cookies. Overall roughly 237x better then this place (I did the math based on various factors such as knowledgibility, inventory, etc.). I recommend going the extra half hour and going to those guys. Just remember to ask for Scott!

To be 100% truthful, there are not enough words in the english language to describe how wonderful this place is. To preface I live two hours away in Virginia beach and did my due diligence researching what I could afford, tow and what I really wanted. I looked at lots of different places but settled on driving the two hours based on collective reviews of the places that had I was looking for, and I was not disappointed. Arrive on the lot I walked in and met the woman sent by the Gods, Cindy. She not only was extremely knowledgeable, listened and was upfront with me about what I was looking at. She gave me so much information and answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking. She is wonderful and I implore anyone looking at a camping vehicle or trailer to start here, you wont be disappointed.

Recently purchased a new trailer. I had Robert Petry help me pick the best trailer in my budget. He was very easy going and had no pressure on me. Still has time to answer any questions I have. Thanks again Robert. Bart Taylor. Ok had a 5 star for my sales man. But I called at 6:50 to ask if they have an item on hand. Was told they are closing at 7:00 and can't help me. Well that sucks.

This company is so bad... Sold us a new class b, it was a complete Lemmon. Sent it for warranty repair after a few months of owning it, and never seen it again, it s been a year now since we bought it. We will be filing a legal suit here shortly for damages. They always say someone is working on it, looking at it, but yet they never have it.

On February 8, my husband and I went to the Richmond RV Show with no intention of purchasing anything (famous last words). We went with friends who have a fifth-wheeler just to look around. We left the Show but returned about an hour later to walk around again by ourselves. We were discussing one of the travel trailers when Sal Saccoccio came by. He started answering our questions and guiding us through how hook-ups and the leveling process would be done of course never having owned a trailer before he broke it down even further for us. When he saw the dear in the headlights look he suggested the Keystone Outback with the self-leveling package already installed. It turned out to be right next to the trailer we were inquiring about. He took us from one end of that trailer to the other. Answering questions and providing guidance. To be honest, I really wish we had him at the delivery. While McGeorge RV got the job done, we didn t feel the personal attention that Sal gave us. It turns out Sal was visiting from a North Carolina Camping World and when we venture south we ll be stopping in to say hi!
It has been a couple weeks since our purchase, but I wanted to actually use our travel trailer before posting our Google Review. Last weekend we used it for the first time and it was awesome! I can t say enough about the trailer itself and the guidance that Sal provided us. I will be recommending him to anyone looking for anything RV related. Mostly because of his knowledge already but if he doesn t know the answer he ll get it for you.
Sal, thank you for staying past the show ending time to finish all the paperwork with us!

MANY selections but if planning to go to McGeorge's make sure you allow yourselves a lot of time. To save waiting time, schedule an appointment ahead of your visit. McGeorge's is located on a gravel lot but uses covered golf carts to shuttle customers between rv units. We had Richard, he was patient, calm, informative without hard sell. I think anyone can get along with Richard's sales advisor skill sets. He listens to what customers "think" they w ant and will find those units on site. He takes your comments about units and finds customers the right rv unit to fit. Give Richard and McGeorge's a try when looking for your first or next rv.

Cody made the dream start to be real for us!

Cody made the dream start to be real for us!

We'd been talking about a possible mobile time of life in our future but we knew absolutely nothing about it. On a whim, we stopped in this Camping World that we've noticed from the highway, hoping to learn just a little more about the reality -- what the space in an RV is like and what it costs, but also what else this lifestyle involves, as well as just some technicalities like power sources and spending time off-grid.

Two hours later -- way over the time we had allotted -- we left, so excited. Cody Cooper not only responded honestly to my million questions, he perfectly perceived what our desires of the day were and picked out very appropriate vehicles to show us, taking his time to show us all the details like external hookups and storage spaces too.

We had told him coming in that we weren't buying but that didn't dissuade him at all from taking his time to do his job well while absolutely not pressuring us at all.

The other fabulous detail was that Cody actually *lives* in an RV, in a nearby park. So he could share his true-life experience with us. We of course asked him lots of questions about his own situation once we knew this. Someone else might have been less than eager to share such personal info, but Cody's honest responses helped us learn enormously in a way that we simply would not have from someone else.

It might be a few years but if Cody's still selling what we're looking for when we do buy, we'll definitely do it from him!

We went into McGeorge's on 6/1/19 with a clear objective in mind. We knew we wanted a Class C ... and we knew about how much we wanted to spend.

As soon as we walked in the door ... Robert Petry met us with a smile and handshake. Robert listened to what we said and showed us several different options. No high pressure tactics ... just a relaxed conversation.

In the end ... we signed on the dotted line for a 2019 Forest River Sunseeker, 28', Class C. It was exactly what we were looking for at the price we wanted to pay.

Robert did an amazing job and we highly recommend him.

McGeorge's RV is the place to get your new or used RV.

Chris

PS: Dave Brown, in the back office doing the paperwork with us, also did an amazing job. No high pressure tactics ... just common sense conversation.

First let me say, salesman was excellent. Upper management is a huge problem here. Your not gonna sell me a $40,000 toyhauler that everyone else is selling for $34k. I fully expected to walk out with a brand new unit. $1300 in document and setup fees? When a random sales person walks over and quietly says "you need to shop somewhere else" I would say there is an issue here. 8-8-17 I ended up buying a 2018 Outback 324CG from Big Daddy's RV for almost $8000 less then Mcgeorge's offer. Everybody always said stay away from anything Camping World affiliated.

We go to Cindy! She assisted my partner and I I'm getting pour forest 5th wheel for her to use for work! Now we are tagging for a smaller RV and today we were going back and fourth with pros and cons and Cyndi surprised us with the perfect compromise trailer that left us saying "that's the one" instantly! She's so attentive, listened to not only our needs but got us off the lot with a few wants as well.

Camping World was great when we bought our TT. Then we took it out for the first weekend. We noticed we had a leak under sink that ruined bottom of the cabinet. Also, our fridge didn t latch right. So, we took it back to Camping World for these thing to be fixed. We brought it in the beginning of June and didn t get it back until the end of August. In between the customer service was all B.S.! They ordered the wrong cabinets. They didn t fix underneath sink. The fridge still didn t latch. And! We missed a trip that was already paid for. Every time we would call to find out when we can pick it up we were lied to time and time again. Find someplace to bring your camper for repairs and winterizations. If your under warranty I guess we re at there mercy. Our is almost up and I can t believe I m happy about it.

We went online to McGeorge's website to look to see what sort of high-end fifth wheels they had in stock. They had 4 landmark fifth wheels three of which were 2017 one was a 2018. Called and talked to one of the salesman set up an appointment to come next day and see them.
So we get there and he takes is out to see them and the condition that all four were in was very disappointing to say the least. They were missing parts there was things that were broke there was paint chipped off because these were full paint job 5th wheels. They had taken Parts off of them for other units molding was broke it was just a mess, each one was just as bad or worse than the next including the 2018 which one of the slide outs was hanging at an angle and wouldn't even shut sufficiently in one corner.
These units sold for over a $100,000.00. the 2017's we're marked down some as they were new but a year old. The 2018 was around $97,000.00.
You would think when a unit cost that much that they wouldn't look the way these did, it was a sorry sight.
To make matters worse they knew we were coming to look at him that we might purchase one and this was a condition that they had left them in.
Now let's get to the salesman he was young very cocky and kept looking at his phone while he was supposed to be showing us the units. While we were looking at those units they were figuring up a price for our fifth wheel that we owned. We finished looking at the units and go inside and the salesman comes back with a paper and says this is what we're going to give you for our unit. It was so low they were trying to steal it it we were very offended. We told him thank you very much but we're going now and he was like what do you mean you're going what can I do to earn your business. I said well for one thing you can stop trying to steal our fifth wheel. We told him you had your chance and you blew it not to mention I wouldn't buy one of those landmarks out there in the condition they're in and some of them were so bad that I'd be afraid to take it off the lot.
We never had good luck at McGeorge's. And we don't recommend anyone else purchasing from them either. Oh you might get a good deal if you don't have something to trade in but Lord help you when you do.

This is an update to my previous post last week. ...

This is an update to my previous post last week. Our camper has been fixed and as far as we can tell there is no leak and no damage. I appreciate that they had us bring in our camper and addressed the problem as quickly as they did. However, I also feel if it was not for the fact that I wrote a bad review, wrote to the manufacture and tried to post on their FB wall and my husbands phone calls our camper would still be sitting up there in their lot or still in our driveway leaking. Regardless we really do appreciate that it was fixed. McGeorge is not a bad company and maybe I am judging due to a couple of individuals and my interaction with them but just our interactions with the couple of people can hurt your business. Maybe you need to have a class for your Professional Advisors on what and what not to say to the customers. Also after we got home with our camper and was disconnecting it the bracket for the emergency brake system on the camper broke again and this time also frayed the cable. So we had to drive the 45 mins back up to them and see when we could bring it back because they do not answer their phones. After my husband went off we were instructed to bring the camper back to them. So we left, drove 45 mins home, hooked up and 45 mins back to them and it was fixed and fixed properly in less than 20 mins. I guess my whole point to this, no one should have to write a bad review or be rude to someone to get something done. If its an emergency, you should have that time set aside for emergencies. Like the mechanic said yesterday the emergency brake system is an emergency, a water leake is an emergency. So with that said, Thank you for your prompt attenetion to our camper.

My husband and I bought a brand new 2017 Keystone 5th wheel from this dealership in January/February 2017. Everything went very smooth in the paperwork and getting our purchase ready for delivery. We have had only a few minor problems with our camper that was addressed in a not so timely fashion. I don't understand how you can make an appointment to bring your camper in for service and they keep it for over a month. This weekend we were on our way out of town camping and when my husband pulled the camper out of the driveway I noticed water (and a lot) pouring from under the front and coming from one of the lights on our unit. I told my husband and he got out and checked it and we also noticed under the hitch was sagging more than normal as well. we got to where we were going for the weekend and went into the bedroom and checked everywhere in the front and didn't see anything. So were confused as to where this water had come from. Saturday morning it rained and Saturday night as well. Sunday we opened our closet in our bedroom and yep you guessed it, it was flooded. The carpet was soaked with standing water still present and the walls in the closet were soaked too. We notified the service department when they opened up this morning and was told they could not see us for this problem until October and then it would be to assess the problem. I am sick to my stomach. I feel this is something that has been going on for awhile and we have just noticed it and by not being addressed now the damage will just get worse. I worry about the water damage to our BRAND NEW unit, the mold that I am sure is going to happen if not already but the 2 1/2 months before they will look at this problem has me EVEN MORE concerned. The damage that can be done before they can or are even willing to see our camper has me very concerned. I wonder if they would buy my camper back knowing that its leaking and could have massive water damage that is not visible to the naked eye. So I will APPLAUD your efforts into helping your valued customer.

Met with Guillermo of McGeorge in Ashland and had an awesome experience! He was very welcoming, super knowledgeable, and provided all the info I needed and more without being pushy. Even though I did not end up buying, due to personal financial reasons, I definitely plan on returning! That said, I did wish the manager would have waited a bit before approaching me as I still was not at that stage yet.

Tim and I met with Ashley to get a tour of some 5th wheel campers. We are trying to narrow down our search, so when we retire, we will know exactly what model will work the best for our needs. Ashley provided a terrific tour and was a wealth of knowledge. Such a great experience and we loved the "no hard sales tactics" approach. Highly recommend Ashley and McGeorge!!

We recently bought our RV and are scheduled to do our final walk through later today. The sales associate that helped us was Jud, like Mud. He was awesome and I would highly recommend going to see him. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us through the entire process. We haven't even gotten the RV home yet and Jud has called my wife and I a few times just to touch base and keep us in the loop. You do not find sales people like that anymore. With the service we have received from Jud and everyone else at McGeorge RV thus far, I don't plan on ever going anywhere else.

Worst service department EVER!!!!!! We have had NOTHING but problems since we got our BRAND NEW CAMPER!!!! First time we took it out after they had winterized it, hooked water up and all water lines were busted. Had to take it up there several times to have then fix the problems that came with that. Then we went camping in May had no issues, take into them to get an inspection and are camping this weekend and have NO WATER!!!!. WE WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN!!!! So frustrating!!!!!

Jonathan, our salesman was thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable, not pushy, and very helpful throughout the whole experience! The issue we had was with higher management. The deal that we had worked was to put a check down in the full amount until we came to pick up the unit with a certified check and this was approved through the sales manager all the way through to the finance office. After multiple phone calls to confirm the details and hours of waiting and doing all of the paper work, we were halted by the general manager. He refused to follow through with what we were already been promised and even refused the offer to put down a deposit as well. It was a huge disappointment and failure of customer service. It s disappointing that someone who has been promoted to a high management role could fail so miserably at offering basic customer service. Years ago we had a bad experience with Mcgeorges and against my wife s better judgement I decided to give them another shot. Should have listened to my wife. Also I will be following up with Mr Lemonis because I m not happy

I visited this establishments on 20Jun2020, the below is a list of events that happened previously, during, and after the initial visit.
The whole experience was awful! I was shopping for my first RV and a specific model, I called a week in advance to schedule an appointment (20 JUN 20) with McGeorge RV; the guy on the phone was very professional and well mannered. That is the only positive thing about this place. Then came multiple mistakes made by McGeorge RV in VA.
1. My sales agent (Austin) called me a few hours after the initial call that I made 17 JUN20. He was RUDE PUSHY AGGRESSIVE and DEMEANING! The minute he figures out what I wanted and that I was not to be pushed over the phone he THREATENED me that if I do not do the deal over the phone the RV would be sold. So yeah that was my first experience!
2. I also invited my parents because I was confident in getting the RV and needed someone to drive my car. Why would I be confident that the RV was not sold you ask? Well because I received a text that evening assuring me that the RV was still there and that I was good to go . So yeah! I was confident. When we arrived for our scheduled time we had to wait for 30 min because they could not find the RV. Then Greg came out looking panicked. He told me that the RV was sold and that there is not RV for us to look at! I do not blame Greg, because Greg was not my sales guy who messaged me the night previous saying good to go . You know what else? This is his FIRST DAY! McGeorge cares very little about you if you are a FEMALE and YOUNG!!! DISCRIMINATION at its finest! If I did not have my parents with me , I feel that the sales guys would not have even spoken to me! They had us wait there until they figured out who the best person to toss at us; someone who had no idea what was going on! Greg (first day) was trying very hard to help by showing us what they had left of CLASS B RVs. I asked to speak to a manager because to this point my blood my was boiling. I was treated so poorly!
This has probably been the worst part. I reached out to corporate and that is when McGeorge reached out to me - they still will not work with me - saying they are offering the best price ! Yeah okay ! I highly encourage people NOT to come here! What really upsets me is that all of this could have been avoided. I am sure that after I post this review on Google response to this post will be We re very disappointed to hear about your experience. We d like to see what we can do to turn this around. Please email us at csteam@campingworld.com with your contact information and more details SERIOUSLY?!!!! I am a customer who has been wronged! But I need to email you?! And you will see what you can do . Come on!

Horrible service department. After taking my 3 month old 2016 Montana Fifth wheel in for warranty service I went to pick it up and the 2 people working the customer service desk could not tell if all the work had been completed. They said the service tech who took in my RV was the only who could answer that. I asked to speak to a manager hoping he could give me clarification. I waited over an hour and after several trips to the customer service desk I finally got fed up and went to the receptionist and asked for help. She went behind the service desk and got me a tech and he answered my other questions regarding de-winterizing but he also couldn't tell me about what repairs were completed or not. I ended up calling the next day and spoke to my tech and he said not all the repairs were complete. They need to train their customer service counter people on how to read the invoice as the information could be gleaned from there if they knew how to read it. My service rep showed me how to read it.

I am amending this review from a 1 to 2 stars based on a return trip to the service department for more warranty work. They were very response during my second visit. They are also going to get me reimbursed for warranty work I had to pay for out of pocket because they did not file the paperwork correctly for my extended service contract I purchased when I bought the fifth wheel. If they follow through on their promises I will once again move my rating up. They also filled my propane tanks for free after not fully filling them as promised when I bought the RV.
