I have been trying for days now to contact the Service Department to make an appointment to bring my RV in for repairs. I guess they don't want my money because no one will answer the phone or return my call when I leave my contact information. I'll spend my money at another dealer from now on. Your loss

I went into McGeorge's RV about a week ago and although we changed our mind my experience was phenomenal . The customer service was great and very informative. I believe the man who helped my husband and I was named Dustin Crocks . I definitely would recommend if you are looking for an RV go there . We definitely will be coming back in the future .

I am not even sure where to begin; I thought this place was bad before it became Camping World, but really, it s a lot worse. You cannot get anyone to return a call, return an email, nothing. Back and forth for the past going on 10 months now about warranty repairs and guess what, my warranty is about expire. There is a list of issues that needed to be fixed. They even broke a piece on my camper and have yet to fix that. There is absolutely no care about you or your problem as they have more things to do other than the JOB. Where is the help? Where is the service? Being busy is one thing. You are not too busy to speak with a customer. And of course the managers, well they are too busy with meetings to be bothered with a customer. It is also not a very good representation of the brands you sell if you can t service them. Then again, it seems like the manufacturers do not care about the type of dealers they have to sell their product either. I should have learned from my first purchase from them in 2015 before they became Camping World. Thought I would give them another chance/shot but I was wrong on so many levels. I will also report my troubles to any media outlet that will listen as well as the BBB. Wouldn't even give them a star if I didn't have to to post this.

Since my posting, I have yet to hear 1 response from the dealer. Reading through all I see from the dealer to other people is a generic response of "contact our customer service team". Hey yo, what do you think most of us have been trying to do? NO ONE WILL CALL US BACK! Or email for that matter. I am beginning to agree with what some other posters have said; they must be paying people post positive reviews or doing it themselves because I do not see how all these 4 and 5 stars come about with the lousy experience I have had with them for the past 4 years, especially the last 10 months!

If you are looking for a camper do not go to Mcgeorge Rolling Hills. We bought a BRAND NEW 2020 camper from there a month ago picked it up 3 weeks ago when we did our final look over there were some pieces missing like ends on blinds. The wood paneling was messed up on a section. So they said they would ship the stuff to fix these issues that were under warranty. We received the wrong parts for the blinds. The wood paneling that was sent to us so we could fix an area above one of the doors arrived this week the end caps were ripped off and there were pieces missing. When we went to go pick the camper up it was not cleaned nor was the environmental package we paid for put on the camper so of course we had to sit there and wait another hour and a half for that. A month later we are still waiting for a tv mount to show up. We have called nobody could help us. We went up to the store and waited an hour had 12 different people come up to us and ask what we were waiting for just for the service people to tell us that there s pretty much nothing they can do that Home Depot sells blinds.

Okay. This review would be accompanied by a "0" star or negative rating if that option existed.
To start, we live about an hour from this dealership, and the initial visit to check things out was great. At first, everyone seemed so friendly and helpful. Once we gave the impression we were interested, the sales pressure increased. They wanted us to believe we had to buy that day, as the unit was the last one on the lot.
We went home to think it over, and that week the salesman called and told us to come the following Saturday to sign papers and take it home. We signed the papers and were told that we couldn't take it home that day. Their excuse was that the papers had to be processed. We were promised that if we came back the next Saturday, that we would have a walk through and take it home that day.
The walk through day came, and we didn't get to take it home that day, excuse was that the hitch we needed wasn't in stock. (They knew exactly what we had and what we were going to need for 2 weeks solid)
The day we finally got to take the camper home, everyone was in agreement that we didn't owe anything for the installed parts (we even had the checkbook out to pay them, and later they called with demands for payment when they told us not to pay) this was all after multiple trips to be disappointed and lost time and fuel, etc.
We were promised accessories by the salesman and later told they weren't available on our model. We were told there were no rebates, and after the sale found out there's one for $1500 that would've been nice especially after what we have been through.
We were promised by sales persons, and hitch installers that our truck would pull the camper without any problems. Nope. To say that it did the job like a breeze would be a total lie. Luckily our maiden voyage was over mostly flat highway with minimal grade changes. Our truck (a newer ram 1500 with v8) seemed like it was close to its limit. We were going between 55 and 65 on the highway where the limit is 70.

We are actually looking for a more powerful truck now, or we will be selling the camper at a loss.
We recommend dealing elsewhere.

Just bought a camper there this week. The salesman (Donny) was ok, and not pushy, but there was a few hidden fees that we didn't know about. Thankfully, we were able to negotiate and get those removed from our deal. The finance manager (John) was nice, but we when we were signing papers, our monthly payment was $25 higher than we negotiated the night before. After another conversation, it was brought back to what we agreed on initially. All those little thing were annoying, but not awful.

At delivery, the tech (Bill) that went over everything was awesome. He took his time, explained everything and was super patient with all our questions. He helped us with the minor things we found wrong with our TT and got them fixed. He gave us a ton of RV hacks as well. This is our first camper and we did not feel stupid or rushed. He went out of his way to help us hitch the TT up and even gave us a nut and bolt that we neglected to bring. He made our ok experience up until that point with McGeorge great. I hope Bill isn't going anywhere, because if I have any questions or issues, he'll be who I'm asking for!

Sales staff was very nice. Motorhome was not cleaned as promised by service dept prior to pick up. Motor home had brake problems 30 miles from dealers lot and required $600.00 dollars of brake repair work to make safe to drive . I would not recommend this dealer on buying a used rv.

Went in to get an idea what size toy hauler I want before I bought a truck, to make sure when I bought a truck I'd have enough to pull it. The salesman kevin asked when I was planning to buy and I said after I get the truck will buy the camper in the next year or so. He asked me if I realized that he was a salesman on commission and it was the last day of the month, ripped my paper work through it in the trash, never showed me a single trailer and sent me on my way as if I was a waste of his time. Don't go here, rude, disrespectful and not worth your time.

Wish I could go lower than a 1 star. They have had my TT for just about 6 months now that should have been an easy 2-3 week repair job. Communication is abysmal, they even fired one of the service advisors working on my TT. Contacted corporate, no luck there. Had to pay out over 200 dollars due to them having it into the winter season and it needing to be winterized, and for some bogus diagnostic fees for the audio system. Went to pick it up in december (its February now) and the work they said they did was not even completed.

From other comments, seems like the sales department is on point... but stay FAR FAR AWAY from the service department.

The delivery experience was thorough and informative. We committed to buy the unit sight unseen through Robbie at the Dulles RV show. We went to the dealer the next day, and Cindy helped us through the process. We bought a used Newmar...when we inspected the vehicle, we were disappointed about a few things. So..Cindy went out of her way and shows us new models. After pondering over new/used, the dealer offered and made a couple of upgrades to satisfy us with the used model.

Took a couple weeks of prep, but we picked up the vehicle yesterday. Brian (the Newmar tech) walked us through the details of how to use the unit. Cindy and Robbie were there and worked very hard to make our buying experience a positive one. Before we left, Elizabeth walked us through the store to get the equipment we really needed for the unit. She made sure to point out which the best value was, based on her experiences.

Thank you to all of the people who put their hearts into making this a great experience.

RV warranty maintenance at McGeorge's Rolling Hill...

RV warranty maintenance at McGeorge's Rolling Hills RV has been a challenge to say the least. This Camping World franchise does not seem to give a great priority to buyers once the contract has signed HOWEVER, recently I dealt with Emma Pritchett and even though it took longer than I had hoped to get everything fixed, Emma was absolutely at communicating and setting expectations, even when they were less than one would hope for. Dealing with Emma was a fantastic experience and she is the only reason I would consider going back for further maintenance.

We purchased a rv and have had horrible service. Four years old key stone cougar. Hit with total replacement of roof sealant. How can this not be covered on warranty? Mc George did not even cover a bad air vent after we have full warranty. Now I am covering 1k for a caulking issue on a 2016 TV. I am calling bs. Every year the service gets worse. Staff are rude and please try to get hold of them on the phone. Good luck! Great service until you purchase!!!!!!!

Rob, our sales guy and Phil, our technician, were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. This is the second camper I have purchased from McGeorge s. No wonder I travel an hour and a half to work with them!!! It s worth every mile!!!

Felt very pressured by sales because they made i very clear that if i didn't make the decision to buy the camper then someone else is right behind me wanting it. They basically threatened to call them. After buying and reading through my paperwork I realised that the finance guy blatantly lied to me about the paint and fabric warranty that i bought. When i came to pick up the camper, i was told to be there at 3:15 and i had to wait over 2 hours for them to demo it for me so that i could take it and leave. I didnt leave til about 6pm. A few days after getting home i determined that the rear compartment was leaking water. I believe that this definitely should have been caught before selling it to me. I definitely wouldn't buy from these folks again.

Edit: I sent email and got a call back but missed the call so i returned the call. I left a voicemail. I havent heard back yet.

Also, i just realised this weekend that they black tank was never flushed before selling it to me and the valves arent sealing up correctly so therefore, there was a little mishap when taking the cap off the sewer drain connection. It was quite a messy situation.

We live out of town and bought a brand new model over the phone as we have bought from Camping World in PA and were very satisfied. ( Big Mistake!!!) Just goes to show you that not all chains are created equally. We had an appointment to pick up our camper. Nothing was ready!! Lots of cosmetic things on this camper were just sloppily put together. We were told that we needed to create a list of things to be corrected and had 90 days to do so. Well, try to get someone to call you back. Horrible customer service! Next time we will save ourselves the aggravation and buy from someone else.

My wife and I purchased a used pop up last year from McGeorge and then under a year later we upgraded and bought a new unit from them too. Our salesman, No was an absolute pleasure to deal with. When we came to pick up the unit, our salesman was on vacation and we had a few problems with the service department wiring my truck. I was so pleased that Greg McGeorge went out of his way to accommodate my wife and I. Another pleasant shock was a salesman named Mike, who we had met a week prior, stepped up to help us even though we weren't "his" customer. They were able to get my truck done over the weekend, they provided me a company vehicle to use while they had my truck, and I haven't had any issues since.

Great customer service! Can't say enough about Bo, Greg and Mike, thank you for the great customer service and in a few years when we upgrade again, we will be back....

Was traveling from Montreal, Canada to Myrtle Beach and had a major problem with my leveling kit. Stopped at McGeorge's Rolling Hills to hope find a solution. Had no appointment and they were very busy and loaded. Even with a lot of job to do, they pass me between two jobs and fix my problem. Vacation saved! Thanks to everyone working there, what a team!

After we purchased the camper we found a issue with the unit (not damage just a personal preference) and these guys fixed it with no issues. I highly recommend these guys. Jeff was our sales guy and he was fantastic and helped us a great deal. The manger was fantastic in helping us with our issue. If you need a camper I d recommend them.

I would definitely recommend this location for needed rv parts and supplies. They even offered a first-responder discount.

We love our camper, but wish we would not have purchased from Camping World or anyone affiliated with it. The service department here is rude. They quote a price on the phone then charge something different. Pray you never need warranty work because you will not see your camper for months. They had ours for 4 months and the work is still not done. We had to go pick it up without the work being done or would have missed our trip. We broke a window in the camper and no one there can help us find a replacement. Don't waste your time here.

The first time in there I wasn't happy at all. Of it was up to me I wouldn't have went back. My camper has a front window which has cracked. I asked them about how much it would cost for a replacement. They wanted me to make an appointment an bring it to them before they could even look it up on the computer an just give me a round about quote. I live in my camper right now. So no I cant just bring in my home an leave it sit all day. General RV next door gave me a quote for the front window. The next time I went in had two young people help us. They went out of their way to help us solve an electrical problem we had in our camper on a Sunday 20 mins before closing. Because of them two is the only reason I will ever consider going back.

I have gone in 4 times to get the "correct" bathroom vent cover. I have had pictures, unit info, old vent that had cracked and each time it has been wrong. Went over to general RV, talked to the parts guy had it ordered and delivered to my house in two days.

I called four different times to schedule service. Each time, I was transferred to service and each time, no one in service answered. A couple times, my called rolled back over to the main number and they took a message. I was never called back. The other two times, the called rolled back to the main number and the person that answers the main line did not pick up the call again.

Austin Haynes was a superstar, he made sure we were informed throughout the process, no pressure while we were deciding on our purchase and John-Sebastian was the best finance guy we could ask for. Horrible sales experience, the current pandemic environment was used against us and we agreed to pay way too much. The advertised price is almost 2k less than we paid only one week later. We have reached out to give them a chance to make this right but have not gotten a response. I will update if things change. Feeling foolish and remorseful.
Don t make the same mistake, there are still plenty of RVs available.

UPDATE: I contacted the corporate office and they, at least, did not ignore me. In the end nothing much was done- hard pill to swallow. Lessons learned.

Back in May 2018 my wife and I stopped in McGeorges/Camping World in Ashland, VA to look at RV's. We were met at the front door by a salesman named Robbie Lyons who assisted us with our search for an RV. During our search Robbie was very informative and had great knowledge with the units he was showing . We spent a couple of hours with Robbie going over different units . Today I returned with some friends who made a purchase from Robbie. He is so patient, has great knowledge of all the various units and is a great salesman. If anyone is in the market for an RV I would highly recommend Robbie Lyons.

We could not have asked for a better sales associate to work with, Chris Cather was phenomenal. He made sure we were hydrated, took some notes for our specific needs and off we went on the golf cart. Chris explained lots of important details and very thoughtful insight about the use of each trailer. BEWARE, after the sale, they are done with you. No one calls back, and no one has any clue how to or desire to fix a problem. The sale went great, and the finance went great. Sales guy and finance guy are the reason there were any stars awarded. When we went to pick up our purchased camper, that is when everything fell apart. We arrived at our appointment time of 15:00. We waited for a while before some one took us out to do a walk through. Not impressed with the girl who did the walk through, our sales guy knew way more about that camper than she did. We went back inside, as the walk through girl said we needed to go to finance, not sure why, as we had already done that the day we purchased the camper. We sat for over an hour waiting to go to finance (we never actually needed to go to finance). Another girl, came to us to do a store walk through. After that we sat again for another hour waiting for finance. Our sales guy saw us sitting and asked what was going on, and he finally took us out and got us on our way. The radio was broken, they said they would send us a new one, a month later, still haven't received it. When we call, it's voicemails and NO RETURN CALLS. As previously mentioned, sales and finance great, everything else has been a complete cluster. Will NEVER buy here again.

Beginning with a phone call to Philip, we knew we were at the right place! He was thorough, answered all my questions, and was quick to give me his cell number for correspondence. I have a small window of time that I could travel up there to look at RVs. I made the appointment for Tuesday and we met him at 1. We later found out it was his day off and he came in and spent several hours with us. This impressed me from a young person in today's world. In addition, the sales manager and finance manager were exceptional. They made every effort possible to expedite the process for us,. When we need anything else, it will surely come from Mcgregor RV in Ashland VA. The entire operation ran like a well oiled machine. We just accepted delivery yesterday!

I had a great experience trading in a travel trailer for a 2018 GEO-PRO 19FD. Robbie Lyons was my salesman, he made sure that every aspect of the deal went smoothly. Robbie is very knowledgeable, super friendly, and takes complete care of his customers. I left a personal item on my trade in, didn't realized it until I was 150 miles away. Robbie had it mailed to me the next day, priority. If you want a honest and dedicated salesman, ask for Robbie. I highly recommend him.

They have had my camper for over 2 months. The advisor is no longer a service writer apparently but they are the only one who can tell me anything but they don t answer the calls or messages left. The manager said he would take care of it. Still nothing. Messages left and no return calls. Only way to get an update was to go in person and refuse to leave till you get an answer. That answer was full of promises and no real info.

Although we weren't in the RV market quite yet (and not for several years), my wife and I wanted to get a head start in viewing them...and getting the information that we would need in the future.

Let me start by saying... Cindy Harris, one of the Sale's Associates, was very knowledgeable and AMAZING! Knowing that we were not going to purchase anything did not stop her from giving us a FANTASTIC tour.

We looked at A classes and C classes... both towing campers and driveables. She answered all of our questions in great detail and shared additional information in which we needed to consider in order to decide what we would ultimately want in the future.

We felt like her tour and guidance, which took over an hour+, should have been a tour or training session in which one should pay good money! We were fortunate to have her this morning, and we still continue to talk about our great experience though the evening.

We shopped around for about two years and finally ...

We shopped around for about two years and finally decided on which RV to purchase and we chose McGeorge to buy the RV from because of their big shop and paint booth in case I ever needed service for the RV. The sales experience was exceptional however the brand-new RV had some problems with the A/C and the fridge. Three air-conditioners and one fridge later it was finally sorted but every time we had to have it worked on it was months until we can get it into their shop. They always told us it was because they were overbooked. It took two and a half years for them to fix the fridge and A/C. Then we realized the front cap paint was coming off even though McGeorge have been taking care of the maintenance on the paint job for us since day one. We took the RV back up to them so that they could look at it & they made a claim with forest river and told us they would call us for a date in the paint booth. That has been over two years ago and I have called six times and they say they still can't give me a date. Finally I just paid out of pocket to have the front cap repainted even though I purchased the extended warranty. I will never ever buy anything from the McGeorge Rolling hills RV again. Worst service experience of my life! It's too bad you can't give them 0 stars.

When I bought my RV in 2018 the service was great. Now that I have had to put it in for warranty service work the service fell off. They made an appointment for drop off with me 7 weeks ago and I have had to call for updates. I feel like they don't put forth the effort as they do with sales. I would not buy from camping world in the future.

Two stars is too nice. We bought during a show and the staff from that was great. Coming to pick up the RV was a long torturous event. BUT the service department is the WORST with communication. We needed service, they gave us a day to drop off RV. We did. Some time goes by, my husband calls to check on RV> No answer, leaves message No call back. We wait a couple more weeks and call back again. We are informed they have no record of our RV being dropped off. Unfortunately we had to be stern on the phone. After a couple hours they locate our RV and keys and told that they will expedite our service. Now a couple weeks later, no word. We call them to check status and again--no answer, leave message and no call back. They have to get it together.

Dustin was pleasant and patient to work with as we discussed and walked through many units. McGeorge s treated our kids great as well. Our demo staff member, Jim was thorough and explained the operations of our Fuzion from front to back and from interior to exterior. The delivery was a significant reason why we chose McGeorge Rolling Hills. Our brand new Fuzion was delivered by Marcus directly to our seasonal spot in PA. Marcus was patient and hauled our RV like it was his. The entire team at McGeorge Rolling Hills RV was professional from the time we walked in to the time of delivery. We highly recommend McGeorge s Rolling Hills RV to anyone looking to purchase an RV of any type.

I am superiorly pleased with my entire experience with these folks. I am new to the RV life. I found a GOOD punchlist of items on a new unit. The sales team, owner, and service staff took my concerns as their own. I feel confident my future visits for routine and repair maintenance will be handled with care.

Great experience with Mark! We are in the beginning stages of researching different models and he made the process of narrowing it down fun, and was very knowledgeable about the different models. He kept is hydrated and the golf cart made efficient use of our time. I would definitely recommend Mark Phommachanh to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, easy going, sales person!

It's one of the few Camping World Supercenters in the area which is great to go and see what all they have. They have one of the biggest selections of motor homes in the area. Went to McGeorge s to look at RV s. We were greeted with friendly staff upon entering the facility. Steven, was very helpful with our research and showing us multiple units. While we did not purchase an RV on this trip, it was a good experience.

We just purchased our very first travel trailer and, Darragh made it such an easy process. We live nearly an hour away and, due to our work schedule, got to the store at 5pm, an hour before they were scheduled to close. This was not a concern for Darragh and, we were never rushed. It was a smooth process and we cannot wait to pick it up Friday!

Side note: I am a bit concerned about all of the negative service department reviews and hope the many issues mentioned are being addressed. It's very concerning how many people have stated their RVs have been there months with no resolution and how many calls from management go unreturned. It certainly tarnishes the store's image.

We spent a long time with Cindy Harris today and I can t begin to say how pleasant it was. She was patient and listened to everything we said and made great recommendations. Never rushing us and her knowledge of their products and what they have in stock was outstanding. I would suggest anyone looking for an RV and would like a great experience, ask for Cindy Harris. We could not have been happier and more satisfied.

We have a long, long, terrible story about our 15 keystone cougar, but Mcgeorge has been awesome.

Bought brand new from Mcgeorge.. Kind of a lemon, 18 plus pages of warranty repairs...had to be sent back to keystone for a few months.

But, it wasn't Mcgeorge's fault, keystone just had a bad unit. McGeorge has stood behind us all the way from the beginning. They have went above and beyond their responsibility of a dealer on numerous occasions to fix what was not their wrongdoing. And they fought keystone on our behalf to get a problem fixed that keystone claimed didn't exist.

Special thanks to these great folks in the service department - Wayne, Jim, Brittany(hope I spelled that right) and Mark(who now has his own mobile repair biz).

Would recommend anyone to shop here.
Just do your research on rigs to find one that suits you and if you buy new, expect problems to arrise in the first year with any brand, they are not made like they used to be but that goes with almost everything these days.
Just be calm and patient and they will take care of any problems that arrise. Patience and kindness pays off.
