I am not impressed so far at all. I call up to McGeorge at 6:15. Website says open til 7pm. Anyway they had their internet people picking up the phones and I was asked if they could help with my question. My question was very simple. I wanted to know the smallest size trailer with a shower and kitchen they sell. Was told I needed to call them back between 8:30 &5:30 tomorrow. Wow. Nice having to chase a salesman. I am guessing this but my first impression of these folks as I will inevitably go up there and look and may have more feedback to share. So far I'm not impressed

UPDATE: We received an email from a manager at McGeorge & NOTHING WAS DONE! Sooo... Four weeks ago was my last discussion with service stating parts were ordered and would arrive in three weeks. Today, we finally received correspondence from the service department stating our claim is still waiting to be approved my warranty. From this point forward, we will be forwarding your contact information into our lawyer. We waited this issue out hoping the company would make things right, but that s clearly not happening. After further thought, we will be moving forward with the lemon law guidelines and requesting a full return/refund for our rv.
This place is a joke! First off, buying experience was awful! First & only trip: Day 2 of having the rv, both storage keys broke (cheap), the internal connection of the water fill hose was never connected under the bed, leaving a leak, the sink was leaking, trim pieces were coming off the corners and the internal lights of rv didn t work.
Got back to va, sent it in for service (purchased 6 days prior). EVEN MORE OF A JOKE... After having my rv for 4 WEEKS, they are now finally ordering my parts. Now saying it will take an additional 3 weeks to receive parts and complete the work. So SEVEN WEEKS to repair my brand new rv?! Keeping me from traveling and making this entire purchase nothing but a hassle.
But they do mention we can pick up the rv for a trip and bring it back.. pick it up for a trip when we can t even get into the storage compartments and my sink is leaking?!
Good thing I know my rights to the lemon law and being they have had it for 30 days no, I will not be picking it up.
We worked with Greg during our recent purchase at McGeorge Rolling Hills RV. He spend a lot of time with us to make sure to we seen everything that we wanted. I especially enjoyed the fact they will do some paperwork first to explain where your payments will be with amount that you want to spend. Then they look at the inventory to know where to take you to show you the campers. Dan and Tim were great to work with too. They even come out to ask me about my camper when I go back to shop.
When we first went there we didn't even know what to look for. Josh was very helpful explaining everything to us. All the pros and cons..everything we needed to help make our decision. He was great ! No pressure! We appreciated that ! Thanks Josh
First time buying a RV/camper trailer. Purchased a new Coleman toyhauler from McGeorges in Ashland. Mark P was our salesman. Absolutely amazing experience. Mark listened to what we wanted and what we were looking for. He showed us the trailer we thought we wanted, and then showed us the trailer that we loved!
Mark is everything you would want in a salesman (listened, excellent product knowledge, honesty, cares about his customers perfect communication, made himself available day and night and even on his days off) without any of the bad salesman stereotypes (pushy, trying to up sell, running salesman games and gimmicks, trying to close the deal the minute you walk in the door).
Financing: the only bad part of the entire experience. We worked with Dan - after 3 or 4 days of waiting he notified us that we were unable to get financing, after that point every time I tried to contact him the line would get disconnected and he would not return my calls. Again, Mark saves the day - by making himself available, he ensured our trailer wasn t sold while we looked for other financing options. He made sure we had a reliable contact that we could get a hold of. We successfully secured our own financing (in 2 days, with a better interest rate and payments). If it weren t for Mark, and our experience with him up to that point we would have gone somewhere else. During closing when we signed papers with Dan. He lacked any concept of customer service (no greeting, nice to meet you , congrats nothing), it was straight business, and he presented a rude and arrogant demeanor.
Picking up the trailer was amazing. Mike from service did our walk through he was great! Showed us everything, answered all questions and even gave me his contact info for if I ever had a problem or question down the road. Well, that time came at 9pm that same night when I was having issues unhooking and removing the tension/spring bars on my hitch. He walked me through a couple tricks and tips and ask me to call him back after I tried them to make sure I was safe and every thing was ok, or to give me another tip to try.
The next morning Mark called to follow up, he made sure we made it home safe, that everything went well, that we were happy, and again making himself available if we ever need anything in the future.
I would definitely recommend McGeorges to anyone, there are great caring people who will get you into what you are looking for, definitely ask for Mark!
To Mr. McGeorge, if you read these. Mark and Mike have went way above and beyond any expectations during this process and have earned a loyal customer. Dan should go work at a buy here pay here used car dealership. I don t know of anywhere else that his level of customer service would fit in.
This was the second RV we purchased from McGeorge's and we were just as happy with all of the help and information provided. There was no doubt in my mind that when I was ready to purchase another RV I was coming back to you guys!! Good job! It's nice to have someone you can trust.
We purchased our travel trailer form them and it was not the best experience, they seemed un- interested in our business but we went through the process anyway because the problem was they had the particular camper we wanted and the other location did not. They day we picked it up we waited for what seemed like forever to get our paperwork and finish the deal. After delivery our a.c was not working properly so we called and they gave us the run around we called a tech who wanted to charge too much to look and said they probably won't reimburse us even though it is their traveling tech. So we have to try to fix or replace it ourselves because the vehicle we use to tow is no longer running so we can't bring it to them. To be honest there are a list of negatives I can say but I would never be able to list them here. We have had to stop by and get different things for our camper and they just ignore you then you stand at the register and no one wants to ring you up. So we have decided to shop elsewhere or order online through Amazon and other places. Bottom line is and this is my personal opinion if you come in and they think you aren't serious about buying or you just want to browns or you look like your not made of money they will ignore you or give you a cold shoulder, but if you come in and "look" the part well then your good as gold. I don't know about you but regardless how I look my money spends the same as the next person and I don't appreciate being treated otherwise.
The lady working in the customer lounge area was very accommodating. Service team kept me informed at numerous points throughout my wait. Doc followed up on issues and generally. Very impressed with the cohesion between depts. Would definitely recommend!!!
We had an amazing experience at McGeorge s RV. Our salesman, Robbie Lyons, has been extremely responsive to all of our questions and has remained engaged throughout our purchase and even came over to the RV park after we picked up our Newmar coach to walk us through the connection processes the first time - - all after 9pm. As total novice s, that has been very much appreciated. We would recommend Robbie to anyone interested in buying any level of trailer, 5th wheel or coach. Casey Beck, the finance manager, made the purchase process as painless as possible and Brittni May, our service advisor, has been extremely patient in answering our questions, coordinating the order/installation of some add-ons and resolving the items on our punch list. All in all, a wonderful experience...we highly recommend Robbie, Casey, Brittni and McGeorge s.
I'm at the service counter and apparently I interrupted the service advisor from playing her video game on her phone. As I sit and wait for them to help me, I am watching the staff actively work to discourage customers. I'm not sure what I'm watching. I have gotten to listen to the counter lady talk to the rest of the staff about scheduling weight loss surgery and the fact that her doctor also would like her to make an appointment at the spine center.
I'm so pleased with the services that was provided because Alexis answered all my husband and i's questions and went above and beyond to assist us. She was so sweet and i'm so glad we came here! i would recommend her to any of our family/friends. we highly enjoy here about all the new rv's and campers! we are coming back to buy sometime this spring!! it's hard to find great customer services now days, seriously if you have any questions alexis is the best to explain things to you and she takes her time. you can tell she enjoy's her job!!
They never call you back. We left our RV and it was 59 days for something minor. They actually broke something and when we brought it back for them to fix we finally had to go pick it up not fixed. They lied numerous times about when it would be ready. Worst service, communication, staff, and dependability.
I had a unique repair issue as I had a frame crack that required some significant welding work, and while this is not work that McGeorge was able to complete on their own they did help me fix my camper. Jessie, the service manager, connected me with a welder that came to McGeorge to do the repair work. Jessie and her team prepped the camper for the weld, notified me of some rework that would be needed with the welding, and after it was all completed resealed the underbelly. I felt like McGeorge was honest about their capabilities, and when they couldnt complete the work set me up with the right repair group that could. I appreciate the support I received through the entire experience.
I had to prove to the sales associate that I was worth showing RV's to. This guy, Ben, determined very early that we were not worth his full effort. I had to convince him to show us different models and the entire experience was cold and awkward. 5 days latter, no follow up, no checking on our thought process, nothing. I'd suggest going somewhere else or avoiding Ben if you do go. I'll be purchasing my unit elsewhere.
We are thinking of purchasing our first RV for our summer excursions.I just got off the phone with Darragh at McGeorge RV in Ashland. Even though we have not committed to our purchase yet Darragh took the time out of his day to answer all of our questions. After spending over an hour on the phone with Darragh I now fully understand the buying process and hope to see Darragh soon, excited !
We had an excellent experience here purchasing our new camper (yesterday). Our salesperson was Drew and Mark helped us with the financing portion. Both gentleman were knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. We can't wait to pick our fifth-wheel up on Monday!
Great experience , we walked in after being disappointed at another dealer nearby . Len was great , he listened to our needs and after some negotiating we reached a deal on a pre-owned coach. The entire team was a pleasure to deal with !!
Stood in middle of floor for 30 min, not one employee looked at me or asked could they help me. No salesmen around, 3 ladies at desk never even looked at me so I waited to see how long it would take for one of them to look up. Finally just left. Same old McGeorge mentality. Rude, no help. Been that way for 15 yrs. no change.
This is the first new RV I have purchased and the entire team at McGeorge's made this a very easy process. Madison, the salesman, greeted me at the door and was very thorough in asking detailed questions as to what I was looking for to include what my tow vehicle would be in order to narrow down the search. We spent a few hours looking and going over the many models they had on the lot answering all of my questions until I finally decided on the Coleman 1805. We were able to come to an agreement on what the out the door price would be without any hassle and I feel that I got a very good deal. I took delivery a few days later and was very satisfied with the walk through, the level of attention to detail and the genuine concern of my satisfaction by every team member I encountered. Madison and the entire team went above and beyond my expectations and this was truly a very positive experience. I will without any hesitation recommend these guys to anyone in the market for a new RV as they are very customer service oriented and a pleasure to deal with.
Bo did a great job. We already had an idea of what we were looking for and he was very patient with us comparing new and used RVs. We went over the pros and cons on both to determine what was right for us. We felt no pressure. Great job. Thanks.
We stopped there on our way down from Washington since it was somewhat on our way down! Johana was great at giving us a walk through and showing us what we wanted to see. She was very helpful and knowledgeable with anything we had questions about. When we are ready to make our purchase we will make sure to look for her to do so.
This place has really gone down hill since camping world bought them. Not a chance ill ever buy an RV from them again. Take any time estimates and multiply buy 3 at a minimum.
We have been looking at some of your reviews that are out there on the internet and so far just about all we have seen is negative. I can assure you right now that we do not agree with most of them. My husband and I were in your dealership to look at RV's a little while ago and we were shown nothing but great customer service by your staff. We were met outside by Brad Williams and we explained that we were going to save for our down payment before buying. He was wonderful, he did not ask us for any personal information except for our home address, e-mail and phone number. He took us outside and not only showed us RV's that we are interested in but, he also showed us some Class A diesels. Those were amazing. Even though we were not buying at that time he still treated us with the same courtesy as before. We almost have all of our down payment, plus some and in another few months should be coming in to purchase our new and first RV with your dealership. Thank you for being so kind to us and not using high pressure selling. I can promise that you will see us very soon. We have also researched all of the different RV dealership websites and you are by far more informative than they are. We just wanted to give you something positive to go on instead of all of the negative that we were reading. Take care and we will be visiting you soon.
Well we shall see if they can land the numbers for the offer on our new 5th wheel camper. But I think Will and a good deal. Jeff was a pleasure to work with and there's tons of units to view. If you're interested in a camper this is the place to be anywhere near Central Virginia. We are so excited and so stoked it will probably barely be able to sleep tonight.
I went there with my uncle who was looking to buy an RV and out of the places we have been this place was the most helpful.thanks johana for all your help. I was impressed with the customer service of this place.
This was a pain free buying experience which was important to us as business owners because we stay very busy. Our contact Cody was very attentive and listened well to what we were looking for. We will be back for our next purchase.
No one calls you back when you have questions and not helpful. Bought a camper from them took 3 months to get the extra keys and still have not received the replacement cushion.
BEWARE OF USED CAMPERS AND ESPECIALLY 1ST TIME BUYERS
On 20 May 2017, my wife and I decided to look at some used campers at McGeorge's and met with Taz and explained to him which ones we wanted to see. He was very friendly and accommodating. He was one of the best sales person's I have had the pleasure of working with. I received a call on 22 May 2017 that I could do my orientation on the 25th and complete the paper work for the purchase. They received payment in full on the 23rd of May. During the orientation the Black water tank showed that it was 1/3 full. I was told that I need to put tank treatment in it to clear debris from the sensors. I took the camper to storage on the 25th and on the 30th I took it to my house to go through everything to ensure I knew what I was doing. I was trying to put the treatment in the tank and thought I had drained the tank, however when I put the treatment in the tank after 2-5 gallons of water the tank was full. I assumed that during the preparation ($995) for pick up that the tanks would have been flushed and verified. That must not have happened, also the trailer was missing the State Inspection sticker that I had to go and get myself instead of driving 2 hours round trip for a $16 dollar inspection. I contacted Taz and he had service to give me a call and I scheduled to bring it in on the 5th of June. I dropped it off and asked would I be charged for the repair and was told that it was not covered under warranty. I asked to speak with a manager and he corrected the service associate that they would take care of the issue. I purchased and picked up my camper on the 25th and had plans to utilize it for 9th - 11th at a local park. This is day 14 of ownership and I cant even guess at when I will get my functioning camper back. I thought that everything should have been ready on the 25th, but I was wrong, I also assumed that when it was brought back that it would have been a priority to find out the issue and let me know something. I might be alone when I say that when I spend $22,000 I should be able to enjoy what I purchased and not be told I have to pay to fix it or wait to get it fixed.
Awesome place. They don't bother or haggle you. These people are friendly, professional and let you see what you want to see. We stopped in there about 8 months ago someone showed us around and gave us ideas...
Then, when we were ready, we had met this young salesman named Robbie Lyons. He took us around to show us what exactly what we wanted to see, plus more. He was extremely helpful and let us decide on what we wanted.
He made it happen from the start and even following up with checking in on us a month later!!!
This place is very clean and has a fresh new feeling every time we come back to buy something from that store. Free coffee, cold drinks and snacks too. A place to sit down and think things over.
We are both very happy with this place and especially that young salesman named Robbie Lyons.
He actually listens and remembers Everything...if he doesn't know, then he won't lie to you. He will find out for you and make it happen... it's not just him either. We showed up with our RV Trailer with a few questions and I could see that they were busy with others but in less than five minutes a guy who I think named Jim? Came out to our RV Trailer and disconnected and reconnected it it all up to show me that we did it correctly... This guy was not afraid to get dirty. He looked All around underneath the truck and trailer too. Even though he didn't have to, he spent the time to assist and assure me on exactly what and how to safely use this on the highways etc.
Everyone there seems to be very happy and helpful....
Oh, and they even make it easier now by installing your "out of state" new registration and tags etc all done for you. Really appreciate that. They set up everything for you.
Robbie Lyons let us do our own research before we proceeded with this great deal here. I am so glad that we met him here when we did.
I had my credit card out and was ready to give Greg McGeorge my deposit when Greg just turned and became seriously offensive and rude. The turning point seemed to be when I asked him to send me the agreed upon price and terms in writing so that I had a copy of what we had verbally agreed to. I was looking for stock number, price, his processing fee, and tax, tags title cost. He refused to send it to me and insisted on getting my deposit before he would do anything else for me. I was being polite and let him know that he offended me with his refusal and his tone was just plain rude. I didn't think I was asking for much since I was about to spend in excess of 20K and I had absolutely nothing in writing from McGeorges. He offered no apology and as a result, I vowed to buy my trailer from another dealer, even if I had to pay a little more. My thought being, if this is the way the leadership of the company treats people, just imagine how the service department and others might treat you when you have a serious problem. It is also important to note that I worked a little with Brad Williams (RV Specialist at McGeorge) and he was polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and in general a pleasant person to work with. I ended up buying the same trailer from a wonderful dealer in MI and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The other dealer was very friendly, honest, customer oriented, and fair. They also beat McGeorge's price by thousands and were able to deliver the trailer faster than McGeorge's could have had it ready. I would not buy a cup of coffee from McGeorge's and wouldn't give them the beneift of my business. After the way they treated me, they don't deserve my business or anyone elses.
When visiting the store Phillip was able to answer all my questions. He was very nice and kind and very welcoming. He answered all my questions and was a very big help. I was very pleased with my visit.
This is just another place in Virginia claiming that they're military friendly to lure you in and take advantage of what you already don't have much of. Like every man I try my best to make the right decision for my family and lead in the right direction. With this usually comes careful research as the world is a dangerous place full of folks looking to get one up on you. I don't give my trust often and giving it to McGeorge's Camping World is one of the most expensive mistakes I have made. My wife who is also in the military is on deployment. She trusted me with our finances and to make the right decision in a travel trailer that would house our family while she is gone, and while I report to my next duty station. I passed the trust my wife gave me on to McGeorge's after what I thought was a great visit. They took that trust and spit it right back in my face using words like "our policy is" and "purchased as is". Please feel free to message or reach out to me for a full explanation of what happened to our 2013 Keystone Passport from McGeorge's Rolling Hills RV owned by Camping World. I will be posting a video on YouTube which I will link in the comments. I didn't read the reviews before hand and I am paying the price. I hope this saves someone a trip. Trust your gut instinct and go somewhere else because as soon as you roll that RV off their lot you are just another number and are on your own. No Camping World and especially McGeorge's will ever receive a dime from my family again.
ISSUES - 2013 Keystone Passport 3180RE:
1) Blow out on way home from dealer causing two tire replacements, rewiring, new skirt. All tires needed to be replaced after discovery of balding on inside of tire.
2) Blown wheel bearing causing need for new axle - 2 week wait for new axle and still do not have my trailer back. Cause - lack of maintenance after Camping World owned the trailer for 2 years. I am currently in a trailer rental waiting for my trailer to be fixed over four hours away in Georgia.
3) Good Sam roadside assistance (is a joke) both times could not do anything nor did the warranty I purchased cover any of the issues. They will not cover any issues that are lack of maintenance which Good Sam will claim for most issues you have. Waist of money on the warranty.
Useless Good Sam Warranty - $2200 Tires - $500 Skirt - $200 Bearing - $300 Axle - $1000 MWR Camper Rental - $1,320 More Camping/Living Gear - $150 Navy Lodge - $140 (two nights) Mom's Flight Adjustment - $300 (missed flight due to bearing and axle repairs)
Camper Purchase Price - $17,000 Unexpected Expenses - $6,110 Total Camper Price to date - $23,110 and counting. (This does not include extra gas prices)
staff is amazingly helpful. Parents have been looking to an RV and the staff answered all their questions. Although they haven t made their investment just yet they gained he knowledge for when they are ready. And will be returning at some point to make their purchase! Definitely recommended
Our sales representative, Cindy Harris, was absolutely amazing!! She is extremely knowledgeable and incredible at what she does. She was so patient with us and made shopping for a camper fun even with a 2 year old! Although we did not buy a camper the day we stopped in, we will most certainly be working with her within the next month when we are ready to purchase our camper!
Since I bought a 2019 Coleman from McGeorge in September of 2018, I've had two leaks, a blown converter, and now a problem with my heater. I've called 4 times and have left 3 messages and no one has returned my calls in two weeks. I'm not happy and am ready to label this a "lemon."
Drew treated us great. Got the camper my wife has been dreaming about. His answer all of our questions and taking us step by step through the process. Recommend speaking with him to get exactly what you want!
Awesome dealership my unit broke down on Saturday and we met a woman named Tammy who immediately got someone to help us . It was just a fuse but we were grateful she helped us .
Worst service department on the planet! this has been a nightmare experience for us we purchased a new toy hauler from you in 2017 and had some problems (yes extended warranty was purchased) and you have had it a total of eight months over the two years we've owned it, getting you on the phone is a major ordeal and have heard promises from people who quit in mid process of this, we got it home last week at last and the slide outs wont work and was told to call a tech, I'll never buy another thing from you and will tell everyone I know and come in contact with not to! Please Don't contact me and say you will make it right at this point there is nothing that would change my mind.
Rodney Carrol really knows the ins & outs of every single diesel motor home at this location and will provide you with a fun shopping experience; just ask for him.
Had a great experience looking at RVs at McGeorge s. If you re looking for an RV in the area, be sure to make them your first stop, and ask for Cody! They had a wide variety of choices & we were able to tour a lot of RVs. Cody was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. Thanks much!!!
RV parts, accessories, sales and service all in one location. They are also the area Camping World franchise. If you are a Good Sam member you'll receive your membership discount on parts and accessories. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist you with all your RV needs.
Great place to go if you want an RV with even better customer service! Went there not knowing what RV I needed it knew that I needed one. An employee by the name of Guillermo informed me of everything that I did not know and I can say I am definitely more than happy with the one I bought. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an RV especially if you don t know much about them as well as asking for as well as asking for Guillermo as he was a huge help!
We purchased our RV last week. Christopher Cather was our salesperson and he was fabulous! Not only did he deliver our RV to our house in VA Beach, he remember that we were leaving for Disney next week and buckled a Mickey Mouse for my sweet son (who is obsessed with all things Mickey)!! I highly recommend them! Ask for Christopher
Our salesperson Phil......along with Josh........was happy to work with us to pick out the perfect RV camper. Our first camper! Very excited. Went through a variety of tow behind campers before identifying one that checked all the boxes. We ended up getting what we think is a super deal. Happy to have found Phil and Mick George's Camping world!
Great for shopping for your rv stuff...but it sucks sitting around for a three hours just to look at some models....we left close to four hours later finally got a call..... terrible
I am giving 2 stars, wish I could give 5. After reading all the reviews, the good and bad I still decided to visit and look for a new rv. Once we got there the sales staff was amazing. They treated us with respect and gave lots of knowledge on the motorhome we were looking at. When it came time to pick up the motorhome that is when they lost the 5 stars. Part of my awning was broken (on a 2021 brand new motorhome) and that the part would have to be ordered. They stated I would hear within 2 weeks when they could get me in to replace the part. After 3 weeks I called numerous times, talked to numerous people who said I need to speak to this person or that person. I had to go into the store for a part and inquired about my part on warranty. They gave me an email of the person I needed to talk to and stated this was the best way of communication as the part was already there. After a few emails with this person, no response, it has made me sick. I spent well over $100k on this motorhome and I can't even enjoy my awning. Its been a very hot summer camping and would have loved to have some more shade. Make sure when you purchase any RV from them you have a set date to bring the RV in so you are not waiting and waiting for an appointment. I also live 3 hours from the location so I can't always just drop in to try and talk to someone about getting this fixed.
We had a great experience during this purchase. Kieth Desmond, our sales consultant was knowledgeable of his products and was very helpful during the process. Kudos to Marcos in service, Sarah our delivery specialist, and John-Sebastian in business for making this a smooth process.
I just purchased my travel trailer about three weeks ago and I've had a lot of other minor problems that should have been caught we paid an extra $3300 for set up which was non-negotiable but there are quite a few problems that should've been caught and I don't think the service department is really doing a good job I believe some retraining needs to be done at this dealership now that they are under new ownership and this is the new charge for the customer
Keith Desmond is a top notch salesman! No pressure salesman, very knowledgeable and he looks out for the buyer! Highly recommend him if you re in the market for an rv.
It s really too bad this is the only place to in Richmond to get parts. Half the items are not in stock. Tried to get roof paint a week ago and was told it d be there Saturday only to have to drive all the way to Thornburg to pick it up. Ordered an awning that day as well and was told it d be there Thursday or Friday of this week only to call today (Friday) and find out it won t be here until this upcoming Wednesday! I suggest anyone needing items order online as the one time I did that I received the item two days later!
Believe me, service department is a joke! While traveling thru Richmond I developed a water leak in my motor home. I took it to Campers World for repair. They billed me $230.00 for repair that WAS NOT DONE. Shortly after l left the dealership the leak reappeared. I fixed the leak myself. Simply a loose hose on the water heater. The panel with six screws had not been removed by their so called customer service... I tried to call the service manager to register my complaint and was put on hold forever with no return call. If you buy a rv from these people be prepared to be.dazzled by b.s. when you need repairs or service.
I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this dealership. They go above and beyond what is required to make sure your RV is taken care of. Josh Blizzard was very caring, helpful and knowledgeable! Worth the drive!
Cindy at McGeorge RV was amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the RVs and was incredibly patient with us as we navigated the path as first time RV owners. She was a great fit for my family and had the kids help her set up the camper!! She was really focused on finding us the best fit for our family, even when that fit turned out at the end being in a different store!!! I m so thankful to have started my rv shopping experience with her because she turned the overwhelming nature of this new adventure into excitement!!
We are in the market to upsize our TT. Our salesman Tim showed some great options and excellent customer service despite all the rain and puddles. He went above and beyond! Once we figure out what size we want we will definitely be back to purchase from Tim. Thank you.
I had the pleasure of being taken care by a lady named Alexis. She was wonderfully helpful with every question I had. I highly recommend customers to request her, she s so sweet and polite. Really made my time worthwhile!
We had visited a number of RV dealerships before stopping at McGeorge's. We were greeted by Tom O'toole and we explained what we were looking for in a travel trailer, weight restrictions, etc. He had several units in mind and took us out to their huge lot where we proceeded to explore the units. We really liked one of the trailers and the sales process was very easy - no high stress back and forth. We went back several days later and Tyler conducted a thorough walk-through, making sure we understood all the features and how they operated. We met with David Brown and completed final paperwork. A very knowledgeable man assisted us with hitching our truck to the trailer and made sure I understood the hitching system, proper towing, and the process for hitching and unhitching. By the time we finished, it was after hours, but the man made sure we were comfortable before leaving. We went on our maiden voyage and encountered several problems unnoticed during our walk-through. We notified Tom and he facilitated scheduling a service appointment so we could get the problems fixed (which will be in another week). Tom was concerned we encountered problems and has taken a genuine interest to make sure they get fixed. I'm sure a lot of sales staff at McGeorge's are great, but we highly recommend Tom.
The sales staff was extremely friendly and helpful, once the sale was made customer service was basically non-existent. Warranty issues were never addressed, phone calls were never returned, and the warranty service was nerve completed at this dealer even though the issues were pointed out on the lot. Warranty work was eventually performed at a different dealer (outside of the Camping World family).
Jeff McCarthy was our Sales Associate when we arrived at McGeorge's RV in August 2018 to check out some Prowler travel trailers. Jeff spent a lot of time with us as he showed us multiple Prowlers and other travel trailers in our price range. We selected the one that best met our needs, and we have gone on numerous camping adventures all over the state of Virginia! We are proud campers, and we love our Prowler! Jeff even sent us a Thank You note after our purchase, and he also sent us a very nice personalized Christmas card. Jeff is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, and we enjoyed working with him on this very special family purchase! We love "making memories" with our Prowler!
Daron, was helpful and knowledgeable. I learned more in 45 minutes on site than I did in weeks on line. I will go back and would prefer to make my next purchase here.
I had purchased 5 RV's from Josh Blizzard and McGeorge RV , with every sales experience outdoing the last. We are now located in New Mexico and just purchased our 6th Diesel Pusher from none other than J.Blizzard. He is an absolute Rockstar with a capital "R" and made our experience truly incredible. He was attentive, thorough and even sent us pictures of our RV prior to picking it up! Thank you Josh! You are the reason we'll never buy anywhere else!
Alexis was AMAZING! She was incredibly professional and helped me with all of my questions and concerns. If you are looking for awesome customer service, ask for her!
I went to McGeorge with a vague idea of what type of camper I wanted but I really only had the knowledge that I had gotten from google as far as picking one out. When I was there I met a salesman named Devin. He took me around the lot and showed me different sizes and options until I found the perfect one for me. I was really impressed with his level of knowledge of each one and he really took the time to explain the difference between them so I really knew what I was getting in to. Its rare that a salesman doesn't push you toward things you don't want/need but instead actually try to make sure you get everything you want out of your purchase. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back to see him and the McGeorge team whenever I'm due for an upgrade.
The few times I have visited McGeorge Melissa has always been fantastic! Always knowledgeable, super friendly and patient. Melissa is never pushy, rude or impersonal as most individuals at any dealership tends to be. When I am ready to buy I am requesting Melissa to work with without question.
I would like to give 5 stars to April Hicks, for giving such great customer service. Your customer service level should be in management. Thank you and keep up your hard work and excellent customer service! McGeorge should be happy to have you because you are always working with a smile. Thanks again, One happy customer.
My husband and I just had an awesome experience buying our brand new camper from McGeorge's! From walking in the door and feeling welcomed to meeting our very patient and down to earth sales associate Cindy, and finishing up finance with Daniel. We would highly recommend using McGeorge's for any RV or camping needs.
