I had been searching for a used RV with very specific features for quite a while. I found exactly what I wanted at McGeorge. Very large selection. Robbie was my sales person. He was helpful in finding the right RV at the right price. I feel I got a very good value for my money. I opted not to buy any of the extended warranties the finance manager pushes at closing. I purchased the trailer "as is" and so expect no further support from McGeorge. All in all, a typical used car dealership feeling experience that resulted in my purchasing a good used RV at a good price.

I wanted to thank everyone at McGeorges for the outstanding service they gave us. Austin, (sales) Rodney (sales), Nick (service) and Stephanie (front lobby) all went above and beyond to get us in the RV we needed. Got a great deal, Damon might be new but did a great job. Even gave my 3 yr old son a little "tour" of the facility on the golf cart while we waited on paperwork, awsome customer service! The wait is what you should expect. On delivery, tech was really helpful and did a great job explaining how my unit worked For a first time RV buyer they treated me awsome, would definatly recomend them.

We were very happy with the really good price and great service we got at McGeorges. The company itself was well run and our sales rep Robbie was on top of our every need! He even fielded a call from me late at night when it was my first time unhitching the camper from our vehicle. He advocates on your behalf and no matter what challenges you can often face with any service shop's busy schedule, he will personally work with you to make sure you are taken care of.

My only advice would be to leave ample time when you purchase and when you pick up. I didnt mind it because I prefer things to be done right and if that takes longer, I'm okay with that. The whole process from start to finish can take awhile to finish so as long as you have a realistic expectation going in, you'll be just fine.

Many thanks to Cynthia Harris, the sales person I spoke with recently at McGeorge. I went there to get an idea of what RV I needed to look for in the near future that would suit my husband and I. At the very beginning, I explained to Cindy that I was there that day just to look. Cindy took the time to show me all the RV's that fit the criteria of what we wanted. She never rushed me or made me feel like I had to purchase that day. I cannot say enough good things about the way I was treated by Cindy and others at McGeorge. We will be going back to see Cindy in the near future. She is a definite asset to the McGeorge team!

Second time walking into dealership, and the last time ever. This last time, we walked in, the young lady assigned us to Keith... he walked up to the wife and said what are you looking for? And before my wife could finish telling him what it was we were looking for, he walked away from her in mid sentence and walked up to me to ask the same question. Very, very, insulting and made the rest of the awkward - very tense. I will travel hundreds of miles before I will ever step foot again In this dealership.

Great folks! Extremely knowledgeable staff, excellent products, and Brooke (one of the managers) is INCREDIBLE! Would highly recommend to family and friends as a one-stop shop! Tell her Adam Marlowe sent you!

Kendall Knowles has been great to interact with and far more responsive and directly answers my questions unlike many of the other online RV dealers who just bait you and refuse to answer questions but demand that you call them ! Kendall has my vote for where to buy an rv online.

Bought my RV (Heartland Gateway) from this dealer. The process went smoothly and the staff was very friendly.

Our salesperson was great. SERVICE....rude/won't answer the phones/return your phone call. Had approximately 12 items wrong with the camper after the purchase of it when bringing it home. Took it back and Brandon who set up my service appointment was genuinely nice and seemed to care, however the service manager not so much as he wanted to argue with us about the main reason we took it there was the door getting stuck when going in and out of the camper, which was never fixed and the leak was not fixed. They told us we did not cut the outdoor shower off all the way. They never looked for the leak which was under the bathroom sink and has made our bathroom rug buckle. Now 800 miles back and forth, we will shoot for one more time. OTHERWISE it's a lemon and you can keep it this time. TIRED of dealing with these people.

Don't waste your time if you did not buy from them they will not service your camper, you are put on a waiting list for 2 plus months that's ridiculous. I guess don't get too big for your own britches is a good story.

Walked in the business to look at inventory. The greeter at the door asked what we were looking for, and when I replied a used camper we were treated like an invisible customer. Sale staff drove by us in the inventory lot and not one person offered assistance or help. Very poor customer service.

Sales was great, then your chop liver. Service workmanship blows! Parts left inside and glue on side of brand new camper wasn't cleaned off at all. Wish I had checked out the reviews first.

Had a great time with our sales person. Asked a lot of questions about how we were going to go camping. Spent a few hours looking and had to go back 2 more times. Always professional with us. Finance was okay. The biggest surprise was how good we were treated in service. We have been back 3 times (once for winterizing) and they have always been professional. HIGHLY RECOMEND over the dealer we bought our last one from.

Buying the camper 1 year ago was a good experience and would have given 5 stars. How ever the parts manager Richard was rude and condisending. The service department is litterly a joke. (See the news reports)

I have a broken toilet that has a silent recall on it (2 years old) they said nothing they could do about it. Except they have to look into it and call me back. This should have been replaced before I picked it up. Along with the awning led lights that never worked



Save your self some time and effort and find a different dealer.

First of all, all the credit has to go to my salesman, Robbie Lyons. David and I traveled from Massachusetts to California to see our daughter for Christmas. We had a new, but smaller RV and with two big dogs.. We over downsized in August from a 39 ft super C to a 25 foot RV with a huge slide. It was obvious that the trip home would be shopping for a bigger rig. We visited at least ten RV sales centers, many of which were Camping World from CA to VA. We dealt with many sales people also. Robbie is amazing. The way he treated us right from the start and the knowledge he had on the Newmar RV was astounding. He was so sincere, so kind and so able to answer all of our questions. He is not putting on a show just to sell an RV. Robbie is very caring and helps in every way possible. Needless to say, we bought the Newmar and love it. So the five stars we feel are for Robbie, as we feel he is one of a kind.

Outcome of complaint was fair, but then they still have not charged my credit card in 22 days after signing a piece of paper to authorize charge... incompetent service.

I had a wonderful experience at McGeorge RV. I m just getting interested in campers and Damon couldn t have been more patient and informative and helpful!

I bought a new travel trailer in 2016. The door needed to be replaced due to not closing before I even picked it up. I was sent home with the keys to the old door but was sent the correct key by overnight mail. Summer 2017 microwave broke and refrigerator stopped working. Called to get service I was told they were too busy. When I bought the RV I was told when I purchased the warranty insurance on it all services would be taken care of. What I wasn't told is the service department was really crappy. I could never leave a voicemail because it was always full. This year my husband has called about a few minor parts that we needed and he was told "oh we don't have that". We are now ready to buy much larger RV and we will not be purchasing it from this dealer because I think service is most important part the purchase.

Update to Follow*****Robbie, our salesman, made this an outstanding experience in the purchase of our second coach. One minor hiccup with communication on the delivery and repair that needed to be done. Could have determined earlier that a part would take longer than expected that I wish was run to ground fully, but we love the new purchase. The highlight was Robbie, will look him up when it s time to buy the diesel pusher! Won t buy an RV from any other sales person.*******

Awesome place! Huge inventory and a no pressure sales department. Christian met us at the door offered us water and coffee and even though we told him we are only in the information gathering mode, he took the time to sit down with us and understand our wants and then showed us four units that fit our list. Very good, nice young man! We'll be back when we decide to buy.

Went in to look at RVs w/ a planned purchase in fall /early winter. Pasha helped us and he was amazing. He showed us everything we wanted to see and was such a nice person. He wasn't pushy at all. And knowledgeable? He used to be a tech and worked on RVs and now he is in sales. He knew the answer to every question I asked plus he shared what to expect as far as maintenance and things to look out for. i.e. inspecting the integrity of the roof (sealant over screws). He was truly a pleasure to work with. I will not buy my RV from anyone else but him. I highly recommend him. Most awesome experience I've ever had trying to figure out what to buy. I left knowing what fit my needs the best and brochure w/ the exact model, etc. Pasha is johnny on the spot. He definitely knows his stuff.

Bought my 1st camper here, weekends get very very busy but they still give every customer individual attention, their sales and finance staff is wonderful, the customer lounge is full of free drinks and snacks great place if you're planning on buying a caper or RV Richard is an A+++ salesman

Bought our 1st RV here, and returned to trade it for a new one. Our 1st experience lead us back to Mcgeorges.

Customer service is HORRIBLE! Once you buy a camper from this facility it's like you are nothing to them especially when you have a problem they don't want to deal with you anymore. They don't return your calls despite their website saying they are a Five star RV center. There is not one thing 5 star about this facility. They ripped us off by putting the wrong equipment on our 2018 trailer, didn't fix an issue with the slide my husband talked to them 3 times about now it is currently at another camping world getting fixed with possibly going back to the manufacture in Indiana due their employees saying there was nothing wrong with the slide out. We drove over 200 miles with the wrong hitch work on the camper. My family could have been killed or worse killing someone else on the road travelling that far. DON'T BUY from this facility. I believe McGeorge's name is going to go to hell due to how poorly this Camping World is run!

My 5 star review is dedicated to Alexis specifically. Although the company itself is excellent and always have amazing service, my experience with Alexis specifically was top of the line. She was over prepared and very knowledgeable. She kept a smile on her face and was extremely motivated. All around I would recommend Alexis for your McGeorges experience.

We would like to compliment one of your employees, Ms Cindy Harris, for the excellent service she provided us. Her attention, great communication skills and ready smile made the experience even better than expected. She made us feel relaxed enough to ask questions as this was our first time purchasing an RV. Once we decided to purchase, she helped us make arrangements for our arrival from New York to pick up our RV. On her day off she picked us up at the airport and spend the entire day with us. She took her time and gave us great advise which we appreciated as new RV owners. Her thoughtfulness went beyond and greatly appreciated. We are delighted to have met Cindy and we promised to keep in touch regarding our travels or any questions. Kudos to McGeorge s RV for having Cindy Harris on their staff.

They have plenty of stocked items, but the parts counter is often rude. His answer is never helpful, nor will he go out of his way to help you find an answer to your question or problem.

Robbie was our salesperson and he was great! We went in not thinking we were going to buy an RV that day. I gave him a HUGE list of the things we wanted in a travel trailer thinking he would never be able to fulfill our wishes. He drove us to the first RV and it had literally EVEYTHING we wanted on our list. There was no pressure to buy, but it was a good deal and they gave us more on our trade-in then we paid for it. Nick did our walk-through and was really patient with our many questions. Would definitely recommended them!!!

Don't waste your time. I drove 1-1/2 hours with intensions to see a Newmar Motorhome. I had to wait a few minutes for a sales rep. I told the rep I wanted to see a diesel Newmar and he took me outside the door and said there's one look all you want. I asked if they had anymore I wanted to look at something smaller like a 37'. He said there was a lot of them on the back row I could go back there and look and he would send the Newmar rep back there. I walked around back there for at least an hour, all motorhomes were locked and I never did see the Newmar rep. I saw several people riding around in golf carts with sales people showing them different motorhomes. No one ever asked me again if they could help me even after I went back to to main building. I'm going to go to Ft. Myers FL. to look at the Newmar, I hope they don't treat me the same way. I will never purchase anything from McGeorge RV and I will tell all my FMCA friends about my experience there.

We came to McGeorge RV wanting help to sell our travel trailer. Josh Blizard was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We were very pleased to work with him. Josh helped us in getting our camper sold! He is very polite and you can tell he loves to help people and loves his job. Thank you again Josh!!

Robert Petry was our salesman. He helped make the whole process move smoothly. He was very easy to come to an agreement with and did exactly what he said he would do. I made the deal over the phone and there were no surprises at the dealership. There was a small issue that arose during the
walk thru/demo that was quickly fixed while we were completing paperwork. The whole process took about 2 1/2 hrs.

Highly recommend McGeorge's they have a huge inventory. The sales manager Brooke Sheffy and the staff were amazing! If you're looking to buy this is the place to go.

Went in the parts department looking for a part and was not able to find it, so I inquired about the part at the parts counter and was told very quickly " No, go look on the shelf you have to buy the whole thing".

Our salesman, Mark, spent as much time as we needed as we shopped for our travel trailer. We probably looked at six or eight units before we decided on the Wolf Pup. We enjoyed his company and he was very informative. Like on most large purchases, the only complaint we had was the push to buy extended warranties. Although the financial person was patient and pleasant enough, it is just very tiresome after spending most of the day shopping for the trailer to spend another long period of time hearing what can go wrong with ones new purchase. In the end, we bought and then a few days later, cancelled one of the extended warranties.

We had a great experience buying our first camper. Stephen was very attentive and found exactly what we wanted. He walked us thought the entire process from start to finish, answering all questions we had.

We have been dealing with McGeorge's for a recall on our trailer (we bought from them) for the past month. Despite numerous phone calls, the trailer has yet to be serviced. They agreed to winterize the trailer (it is now winter) for us as result of our long wait time but have also failed to follow through with that agreement. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed.

The service writers were super friendly and helped me every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for anything RV/Camper related. They have earned my business again!

We had the most pleasant experience here. We traveled 7 hours to look at and buy a Forest River Georgetown RV. From our initial contact with them to the final outcome of us leaving in our new RV, they catered to our every need and questions. Everyone was awesome and knowledgeable about everything. Our salesperson was the youngest and newest member of their team and was very personable and likeable young man.
I've read alot of bad reviews for camping world RV stores and have had some bad experiences at some, but McGeorge's is the exception. Well done and thank you for a wonderful experience.

Not good service here. We were told to take our RV to NC for a simple generator reset. It was almost 6 hours away, but we had no choice as we were new and didn t know how to fix the problem. We were told they were open until 6 and we rushed there and got there 5:40 but they said the service dept closed at 5, which were not told.

Pricey that's expected service is excellent that's expected except for the prices they get an overall 10 out of 10

I was curious on what was the big deal about RV's so I visited my wife (DaNita) at her job...being it was a surprise visit I was amazed on how everyone was so friendly and knowlegeable about their product. Thanks for the experience! Man I got to get me one of these Melissa.

I recently went to Mcgeorge camping world and was immediately impressed with the sheer size of the facility. They have a massive selection of the latest Rv and campers. My family and I received top notch service from CYNTHIA HARRIS the sales associate. She took the time to make sure we were confortable with each unit and was an encyclopedia of information. I have encountered very few interractions which were even close to the service she and her associate provided. I recommend Mcgeorge without reservation. You will not be disappointed.

We bought our unit, went to pick it up and found they had damaged it without telling us tried to pass it off without disclosure. Told us it would take 2-3 weeks to fix. After 8 weeks, I contacted CW corporate. At that point, they had not even scheduled the body work to repair the damage. Two weeks later, we picked it up to find other issues had not been fixed, to include a bubble on the roof of the slide out on our brand new unit. We were told they would send a tech to us to fix it. Our black tank had poop in it and the valve had been opened and closed so poop poured out onto my husband. Our battery was completely dead. They cooked on our stove.
They emptied one of our propane tanks. As soon as they found out the Army was transferring my husband to Ga, none of our phone calls were returned. Please find another place to do business

Run and run fast. They damaged our RV while it was there for service, stole beer and didn't fix what we actually supposed to fix for the 3rd time. We actually had to check the shower before we left and guess what still wasn't fix. We had to make them fix it at that time so we could go in our trip. Pls keep in mind we canceled 2 prior trips because of them extreme length of time it took to fix. Now they are refusing to pay cor the damage to our RV. They want us to have them come get it and fix it. Why would we do that when it was damaged in hour possession already. They also charged us for a winterization and never did it. Will be getting an attorney. Run don't buy anything from these people. Service is horrible..

Easy process at McGeorge and Dustin was very helpful in finding a camper that fit my needs and budget. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Over priced, nice sales guy but his sales manager was pushy and rude, chased us out into the parking lot to argue over their policy of mandatory haggling. We did not want to haggle and so we left. Camping world stores have lost any hope of our business in the future. Good job, rude sales manager guy. And of course your prices are competitive if no one with in a certain radius of you is allowed to sell the same item as you.

We purchased our Newmar Dutch Star from Mc George and had a great experience. There were a few hiccups in paperwork but that is to be expected and none of it would I use to downgrade my 5 star. The reason for my post today was because of an experience I had 2 days ago. I had to drive out to McGeorge (an hour each way), to pick up a part that they were holding for me. I got to the dealership and realized that I had left my wallet in my other vehicle and my car was literally on empty. I picked up the part and asked Ben McKinley if they would possibly let me write a check for 10.00 to get gas to get me home. (I had my check book, just no wallet). Ben and Mark Tazelaar came back with 10.00 and told me not to worry about the check. THAT is great customer service and why I give McGeorge RV high marks. Above and beyond. Kudos also to my Newmar personal service rep Brittni May for taking such good care of me and our motorcoach while it was in for service. M. Richardson Powhatan Va.

I've written to Winnebago asking that they re-examine's McGeorge's "Authorized Service Dealer" status. I took my rig into their service department in June, 2014 for a weather related insurance claim. I was immediately insulted by their Service Manager. He further went on to say it would $8,000 - $15,000 to replace my entire "rubber" roof (to repair a quarter inch puncture). I called Winnebago and they said they didn't start putting rubber roofs on my rig until two years after they made mine!! It just got worse from then on.
After being lied to countless times, I finally got my rig back in September, 2014 with terrible workmanship, dirty, and shop materials thrown about.
The bad thing about this is, I bought this motorhome from them over 8 years ago. That's how they treat their customers. Don't buy from these shifty liars!!!

Go visit Robbie Lyons! He helped us find the perfect camper and has been so kind since we met him. You will definitely have a wonderful experience if you ask for Robbie!

Around January 20, 2012 I spoke with Ron to cancel the extended warranty plan we purchased through Easy Care at Mcgeorge's RV. I was told by Ron that he needed mileage. Since I was busy at work I called last known garage where our motorhome was serviced to obtain that information. Of course I relayed that information back to Ron thinking I would try to expedite what I thought to be a simple process. Unfortunately this process is far from simple nor is it over. Ron from finance department called me back and said he is getting an error response saying I am reporting lower mileage than what is in Easy Care's system. I took time from work to get my motorhome keys and drive to location because Ron indicated that would fix the problem. Unfortunately this problem is still here. The garage that I had service the motorhome on one of the three occasions accidently reported 32,083 miles instead of 3,208.3. Even after taking the motorhome for a warranty issue after that, and correct mileage was reported to Easy Care this mistake was not caught. Now according to Ron this is my fault and I am left trying to do all this running around to fix a simple mistake in order to cancel my extended warranty. Oh yeah I am doing all this in addition to maintaining a family and job. Now I am told by Ron at McGeorge's RV and an agent at Easy Care that I need a mileage correction form from the service garage notarized, faxed to Ron, and then faxed to Easy Care in order to be sent to their mileage dispute center. So who knows if this cancellation will go through? BUYER BE AWARE. Use your due diligence when thinking about buying an Extended Warranty. Neither Ron nor Easy Care appears to want to cancel my extended warranty.

My family and I drove over three hours for our dream camper we found the perfect one to fit our needs price was right. Our sells person Stephen showed us the camper and we were sold on it. My family and I were so excited that is didn t hit us that the camper had previously had a SOLD sign on it. Stephen made the comment that the family probably wasn t coming back for it anyway. I know now why. We thought we had and were told by the staff that we had been approved for everything so we put down a $1000 to hold it. The payments would be $304- $314 and had a low interest rate according to the quote and the finance manager Cheryl. A few days went by and we heard nothing from them. We called about 14 times in three days and even called corporate. We finally received a call back and everything changed. The payments now were $400 and the interest rates increased dramatically. I would never deal with them again and I would advise the same for no one else to go there. They tried to take advantage of my family. The best part is though that they lost our $1000 check to hold the camper. The finance manager Cheryl had no idea that we wrote a check for this and lost the $1000 check. I ve never been more infuriated in my life over the customer service. HOW DO YOU LOSE A CHECK??? Buyers beware when dealing with this company. Unfortunately I do have to put one star or I would give them 0 stars and watch out for the finance manager Cheryl, she s just as bad as the rest. I ll be sure to update another review when we buy a camper from elsewhere.

Amazing customer service!!! Cindy was incredible, she took one on one time with me, we walked through alot of different models and she was very knowledgable about all of them. She really worked hard with the sales manager to help me be able to trade my old Rv for a brand new 2020. I highly recommend this company, location, and especially Cindy! This has been the best customer service experience I have had in many years!
