Completely wasted my friday night and Saturday! Tried to add 4k to a deal that was already negotiated at the last second. Extremely dissapointed. Drove 120 miles...... !!update!! 30 minutes after i left the store, they called me back and honored the original deal agreed upon over the phone. I went camping that night with the fam and love the new camper.
It was a Sunday afternoon and we didn t have to wait. Damon, our sales person was very knowledgeable. We found just what we wanted and worked a deal. Great selection of campers. Damon did a great job! Would definitely shop there again.
There are not enough words to express to say how much we enjoyed our experience with McGeorge RV. Lynn Lowry is the best salesman EVER!!!!! He made our experience fun, and he answered every question we had with grace. He made us laugh, we felt like we were already camping, only thing missing was the camp fire. So please if you are looking for a RV or camper, it does not matter how big or small, or the amount of money you are spending. Lynn Lowry or the staff will treat no differently. You are like family as soon as you enter the door. We not only walked away with a RV of our dreams, but we made many friends as well. Thank you Lynn Lowry.....You're the best!!!!!!!!! David and I cannot wait to start to make new memories in our new RV, and thanks to you....We can!!!!! David and Leslie ABromaiitis
We could not be more pleased with our experience at McGeorge's. The service & professionalism of the staff was unmatched by any other dealer. We've told everyone about you and will undoubtedly return when it is time to upgrade!
Purchased a new Winnebago 32YE in May. It's been downhill every since we sat down to sign the paperwork. The numbers originally agreed to were no longer there. After going back and forth we finally came to an agreement. The unit was left with the service department prior to delivery. Nothing on the we owe was taken care of. Reached out to McGeorge several times to see if parts for the we owe had come in. Finally after weeks we were put on the schedule. Once at the shop we were told the replacement door was worse than the one already on the unit. The tear in the brand new awning was "repaired" with what looks like packing tape. We later found a water leak, scheduled an appointment to have the warranty work taken care of and the remainder of the we owe. After a month of the service department having our unit and multiple attempts to contact them we were told that it hadn't been assigned to a technician. Finally we were told that they were waiting on approval from Winnebago so they could do the warranty work, which would take 2-5 days. A week later we were called and told we need to bring our rv back( the same unit that they have had for 2 months and we never picked up) now almost 2 weeks from what should have been 2-5 days there's no update. Communication from the service department is horrible. It's bad enough having these problems with a brand new unit, but having to call and email several times a day to get an update is extremely unprofessional!
Update- 7-10-17 Since my last review my opinion has whittled away. We received the skylight cover about a week and a half ago but it was shipped to our house and not to the dealership where it was supposed to be installed by them. We are STILL waiting on the awning cap. I have called 3 times, texted Charles who is no longer with them so he cannot help and emailed both Jennine and Jim and have received no response. If course sales was great because that's when they're making money...beyond that I cannot say anything good. I'm guessing they're not going to install the skylight cover, and I'm guessing I'll never received the awning cap. Will not be referring anyone to them because to me the way they handle themselves after the sale is just as important as the sale itself.
I have to say after a not so great experience with Safford Rv, I was hesitant to go through another dealer. My wife had been talking with Charles Belle at Mcgeorges for a very long time trying to find a camper that would fit our families needs and our budget. She had her heart set on one particular model and had all but given up. She decided to get on the site one last time before we left for vacation and found the one, just not the model but it had everything we ever wanted! She immediately emailed Charles who was off but emailed her back quickly the same night. He walked her through the process and set up a day to come and see it. We knew that if we didn't put a contract on us it would be gone before we could get there. We did do the contract and put the deposit to hold it. We got there and Charles was very nice and answered my picky wife's endless questions. From the first email she ever sent him to the last text he has made her feel important and heard. Not like she was just another sale. The finance portion was a bit nerve racking. I would suggest going through your personal bank which is what we did. After we got through that it was smooth sailing. The service department....AMAZING! The walk through before you drive it home....AMAZING! Every question my wife could think up she did, and the guy, Mark, that did our walk through was patient and kind. We walked out with no unanswered questions and felt positive that we made a good purchase. There were even a few hiccups with broken parts, like a awning cap and a dome to a skylight, that Mcgeorges fixing for us at no cost to us. We couldn't be happier with everything and I thank you guys for making this a enjoyable process. For Charles taking his time off to continue to help my wife to make her feel comfortable...you didn't have to but you did and it's the little things that count. I read other reviews where people said that they felt judged (money judged) when they walked in...we didn't feel like that. We purposely dressed down to see how we would be treated and we were treated with respect and no judgments at all. I want people to know that whatever bad experiences you've had at other places, not all are the same especially not this place. Don't give up. Call and ask for Charles. He'll make your experience one you won't regret. Thanks again.
We would like to express our thoughts about our experience last Tuesday at McGeorge RV. We were pleasantly greeted upon entering the store by Kevin McGeorge. After introductions, he asked us several questions about our interest in a new travel trailer. Then Kevin asked us to his desk are to be able to get more information to be able to match our needs with your stock. His discovery abilities are phenomenal. He easily acquired information without being invasive.
He then asked us to look at a trailer that might meet our needs. Before entering the trailer, he walked us around it and demonstrated the features impeccably; he then took us inside to view it. He allowed us to look around before explaining the features and benefits, and then explained both, in addition to the benefits of the manufacturer. We were very impressed with his skill.
He then asked us if we would want to look at other inventory, but he had matched us very well with the information he had gathered and there was no need to look further. We are very happy with our purchase.
Came in to look at some motor homes, Keith Desmond helped us out and was a pleasure to work with! Very up to date on his product knowledge and easy to get along with! Would highly recommend to all my friends!
Cindy Harris and the team did a great job. The buying experience was easy and focused on our needs. Cindy is super knowledgable, service focused, and easy to work with. And, all the support staff were right there with smiles on!
Never seem to have used RVs in a reasonable price range. Sales staff is friendly, and overall, I like my visit better since camping world bought them out. Still can't help feeling that you are a pain in their butts if you don't want a brand new RV.
Our salesman, Doug Wheeler, was not only knowledgeable about the 5th wheel trailer we were looking at but took the time and effort to insure our buying experience was a very positive one. The other folks who helped us also made our experience at McGeorge's easy to "seal the deal." Would recommend this dealership if you are looking to buy a new RV.
Robbie Lyons was was my sales Rep he was very knowledge able Had all the answers to my Questions ,as a first time buyer I was unsure about the whole Process . There was no hard Sell n I left there feeling positive About my purchase. Norm Lind Jackson nc.
The worst experience EVER!!! for a 1st time camper. I have been searching for the a particular pop camper for a reasonably price for years rockwood 296HW. Finally found it 1hr away. After picking it up, its been nothing but a headache before even opening. When we did the walk through the battery was dead and needed a charge. This was suppose to be replaced. As per the service it was. The day of pick up upeverything worked while plugged in. When we brought it home less than a week later, the battery it dead. We charged the battery still slow to open. drive an 1hr back to McGeorge's for service. 2 days later I'm told a light was left on that "drained" the battery and while the unit was plug-in, the technician was able raise the camper up 5xs no problem. However, no conversation about doing so without being plug-in. That was on July 13th. I WAS informed of these details on the 14th. I informed them the issue we had was that it did not operate with just the battery alone despite getting the battery charged. So again, it was supposed to be rechecked with just the battery. July 16th. I was informed It was checked both plug-in and without and battery itself ALL is well. SO, JULY 18TH. We drive 1hr up and back get home and GUESS WHAT!!!! BATTERY IS DEAD!!!!!!. As per service, if a camper is sitting for a week or for any length of.time than it will drain. Umm. How can that be when they were supposed had checked it on Wednesday July 16th. Than service have knowledge of the battery being replaced, or suggest that our tow may not be charging it may bad"fuze" nope it's not bad. So let's recap, Day 1, the battery was dead, sale jumped it. The camper works. List of items to be replaced (BATTERY). 1 WEEK LATER DAY OF PICKUP. CAMPER plug-in everything working and per sale, Yes the ",battery was replaced." We get home late from pick up put into storage. Gets home come back another day to open BATTERY DEAD, July11th BACK TO McGeorge. Told them battery was dead alonh with a list of other possible as well we charged it. Because, it used , im glad I have extended warranty but, the battery was ONE THat was supposed to be replaced before pickup. Sum up this story, the BATTERY was not replaced and Do not expect for them to do as they say because if i want to keep my schedule trip on the 24th, I now have to call around to locate a battery in 95 degree heat!! Or, wait go on our trip to plug-in and take a chance. The latter would not be wise, especially since I haven't had the chance to make sure everything else is still operating or the opportunity to DO AS Women do. That is make sure it's throughly cleaned, decorated pretty, and properly packed up. So, ill be canceling my trip. THANK McGeorge's Camp World!!!!!!
This is the worst place to buy a RV . Since camping world bought it . Their service department is a joke . We bought a RV from here less than a yr ago. The RV needs repairs n yes we have warranties covering everything but cant seem to get it fixed . They say Ill call u back n tht will never happen . Go Somewhere Else To Buy Your RV . I promise if u get it here u will regret it . By the way Brittany its been two days now since u said ill call u back n had me leave my number on ur voicemail. Did u get lost ? By the way let me tell everyone about my 2017 Montana. My refrigerator since day one one shuts down when it gets hot out , I have lost so much food do to this The roof vent is leaking when it rains exhaust fan n kitchen stopped working molding is coming off the walls bathroom door wont open n shut right n they have fixed it once already . The steps leading out of my camper are falling apart n my daughter fell out of my camper n sprung her foot so bad she had to miss work . But good old Camper World Mcgeorges RV could care less . We have been through hell over this RV TO THE POINT NOW IM READY TO TAKE THIS TO COURT . I HAVE ALL MY DOCUMENTS AND PICTURES EVERY TIME I MADE A PHONE CALL EVERY PERSON I HAVE SPOKEN WITH .
