oh dear. Lovely looking hotel, nice location, but it's an atrium style, with rooms entering from the atrium / common area. When the LOUD BAND started up at 9:30 p.m., there was NO WAY to get any rest. All due respect to the hotel manager, they did refund our stay. But discovering long hair and mildew in the bathroom the next morning while taking a shower was just plain ugly. I do plan to send pictures to the general manager. Did I mention you can't control the heat / cool in the room? Only hotel I've ever checked into that offered to send a space heater. Apparently the temperature is centrally controlled. A space heater. In a premium hotel. Well, all in all, a terrible experience.

Neat hotel! Awesome views of the bay and sf airport! Cool to watch the planes come in especially in the evening! Great complimentary breakfast! Really good. They even will make fresh food to order! Cute sitting area inside but you feel like your outside! Pool as well!

In good weather we would have seen the Golden Gate..was still nice stay for 1 night and great to get to the airport quickly. Shuttle every 20 minutes..very good ... also connect to downtown. Highly recommended. From 17 to 19.30 clock snack and drinks in the foyer! Would we go back again.

This hotel is very nice! The rooms were great, the courtyard lobby is nice, the breakfast was tasty every morning. The hotel is right next to a walking trail which was a very pleasant way to start our morning. Overall, we loved this hotel and would gladly stay at it or one like it.

BUT, and it is a huge problem, it is TOO LOUD. We were on the 8th floor and still had table-vibrating music two nights in a row. On Thursday it ended at 9:00 PM which was annoying but fine, but on Friday night we had loud music until 1:00 AM. (It got less loud after midnight, but still too loud to sleep.) We were traveling from the east coast and couldn't sleep because of the noise. They seriously need to advertise that they will have loud music playing because this completely spoiled an otherwise amazing hotel stay. When we spoke to someone about it they just said it was a "private party" but clearly not so "private" if we can't think for all the noise until after midnight.

I stay here everytime I travel to San Francisco. Complimentary buffet breakfast is always great coffee could be stronger. Staff are generally accomodating. Suites are always comfortable. Hughly recommended.

It's too bad that foreigners have taken over a lot of the hotels in the bay area. I've lived here in Northern California all my life and this particular hotel use to be my go to when I was traveling. Since the management change in the Embassy Suites chain in the greater bay area, the quality has gone down considerably mainly due to third world mentality. These people wouldn't know clean, comfortable, classy if their life depended on it because they were never raised around it. It's all about getting more for giving way less.

Sad and pathetic. Stay somewhere else. Trust me.

I stayed here for one night only , paid over $400 for a premium room on a lower level that smelled musty and of smoke. I asked for a crib twice (once before checking in) and again at check-in and never received it .

There was vomit outside my hotel room and dirty dishes in the hallway. The bathroom also was not cleaned properly, with the floors being sticky.

Not impressed. I'm a Hilton HHonors Diamond member so Embassy Suites are at the top of my reservation list. However, I was just totally unimpressed with this property. $22/day for parking? Really? If the temperature is above 75 they provide air conditioning; if the temperature is below 65 they provide heat; between 65 and 75 they provide fan only. That might have worked in the 40's and 50's but it's time to get with the program here in the 21st Century.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I'm staying here right now. I'm on as family vacation and last night, the room next to me had a party. When I asked the front desk to see if they can address that, the party subsided. Tonight, there is a loud party again, and they are doing nothing about it. People are not wearing masks and not practicing social distancing. I don't feel safe, especially when someone claimed to be the owner to help me out, in front of the concierge. Now we don't feel safe, the front desk won't do anything, and they won't issue a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Update, 11/3: if Embassy Suites has any intention of improving their experience with ensuring the safety and security of their guests, the response would be entail more than an apology.

The hotel gets used for many different types of functions, making it very noisy and uncomfortable. The breakfast is the worst of any hilton (OK I do most of my travelling in Asia). The view claimed was blocked by dinner room on the ground floor. How could they charge a premium and provide such a poor product.

Overall, Embassy Suites has consistent look and feel. This property is getting tired and needs some refresh. In my room, clock radio was broken as was the iron. Prices were sky high. Atrium area too dark at night and in the morning. Disappointed.

Nice big two-room suites with fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Love the breakfast and especially the evening reception with free beer, wine and liquor/cocktails. Rooms are a bit outdated, but good overall. Nice views of the bay with SF airport and SAn Francisco and Bay Bridge in the distance.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Best I have ever had at a hotel at no additional cost. No complaint's. Clean room, comfortable bed. Had forgotten the crib I requested but had it in the room within minutes. Well Done.

Nice, clean rooms with plenty of space. I really liked that the balcony was accessible. The free breakfast in the morning and free drinks and snacks in the evenings cocktail hour were surprisingly better than expected. My only complaints are be ready to pay for parking (though they knocked down the price to $15 for us) and the a/c in my room didn't seem to do much. It was in the 80s and even at the lowest temperature, room was still warmer than I was comfortable with

Needs TLC. We were disappointed in our recent stay. Check-in:. Terrible experience. Credit card blocked when somehow the wrong credit card expiration date was sent electronically. It was 1am after a long travel day with delayed flights and a missed connection. It took a long phone call to get this sorted. It was odd that the hotel had sent through a $1 charge hours before checking with no problem. So clearly they had the right info and the desk agent claimed the date was read right from the card. The room:. Dated and in need of repairs. Bathroom sink was very loose. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. Shower curtain was only had about half snapped in. Will find somewhere different to stay next time.

My family and I stayed 2 nights here. The first night the pool was so packed that my children couldn't even swim even though the maximum pool load is 38 people. There were so many children at the pool horse playing that one of my little ones almost got smacked. The staff do not enforce most rules here. The rowdy pool. No pool towels, we waited for over 1 hour just for them to stock the towels. Last but not least my family of 6 could only have 3 bath towels. When I asked for 3 more towels they told me no 3 towels per room. I will NOT be staying here again.

The hotel has a family friendly setup: all suites with pullout sleeper, complimentary hot breakfast, a clean pool and afternoon open bar reception. The location is a little inconvenient but the bay and airport view more than makes up for it.

I recently came here when I first came to San Francisco and this was great! There was a pool, comfortable, clean, and medium sized rooms with great views. It offers parking and a giftshop. Not to mention the phenomenal view when you first walk in. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner (I love the omelets) they even go as far as having a light breakfast, medium and heavy. Overall one one of if not the best hotel I've been at and probably will ever stay at.

I always love when I am able to stay at the Embassy. The grounds are beautiful, with a ballroom, pier, and running trail. The interior is equally beautiful with peaceful koi fish rivers, running water, and natural vegetation. The rooms are equally comfortable and well kept, and the breakfast buffet and drink reception are not to be missed!

I stayed here many times and felt welcome during the evening reception in the atrium but last night they stopped serving drinks to the guests before their reception hour was over. It was the time I felt they treated the guests rudely also. Normally they deserve a four stars but this time they get a one.

Disappointing and not acceptable. Very poor experience in so many ways.

The tub would not drain. The telephone in the bedroom would not work. There was no facial tissue in the room. The alarm clock was not set to the correct time, and there was no way to adjust the time. The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. At check out, the clerk was not able to make their computer system work, sufficient to print out a statement.

One of the most disappointing business travel experiences I have had in recent memory. I have a hard time believing that this property is part of the Hilton Corporation.

Great location and beautiful views next to good restaurants. I checked in and there was food on the floor and the tub was dirty! Don't dare look under the beds unless you have a strong stomach. Tv quality was horrible and outdated and wifi was weak. The breakfast was less quality than a Best Western. You'd think with their reputation they'd be better. Especially in times where every reservation counts. And to have dirty rooms during Covid is pretty negligent.
