Stayed in the Hilton in Burlingame California, it was a great experience

Great views of the bay and San Francisco International Airport's runway. Watching planes landing and taking off is great at this hotel.

Love this hotel! My room had a beautiful view of the ocean and the air port!

Old and poorly maintained, ac in the room doesn't work very well , i expected more.

Very sweet staff, great view of the airport with the water and love love LOVE the spacious 2 rooms. Definitely a great place to stay.

Room description was not reflected on room given. Generally clean there but there was mold under the mattress on the sofa bed.

My stay at this Hotel was incredible! The views, the food, happy hour, amenities, everything was very good. Also, I can t forget about the service that the employees provided! If you get the chance, go ahead and visit the hotel and take advantage of everything they have to offer. In addition to all of this, you can t forget that it is a waterfront hotel so the views are beautiful through the days and nights!

My friend has had his birthday sleepovers here for the past three years and I've enjoyed each one more than the last. They serve you basically a buffet style breakfast every morning and I've just got to say it's delicious . What I think kinda sucks is that u need an adult to go to the pool, but it's fine I suppose, but overall it's without a doubt obviously a five star hotel

Beautiful waterfront views for a wedding reception and ceremony. Too bad they can only accommodate 200 ppl otherwise you have to use their grand ballroom. Like most hotel ballrooms there are no windows. However on the plus side, Embassy Suites is very flexible and will allow you to rent the ballroom, ceremony site, and cocktail hour site while using your own vendors for everything else.

Location of the hotel was beautiful, next to the water across from SFO. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the facilities were accommodating for our large group.

Disgusting, nasty hotel. I promptly checked my family out of here at midnight and after a long day of travel because it was just that bad when we walked in to the "suite." The interior looks like an old tenement from the 60's that was repainted several times over. The elevator didn't even look rated. Carpet looks decades old...it was not a clean place. Do not waste your time booking much less staying here.

Very nice place, request bay side room to get a great view of the Bay. Airport monitors in the lobby to see flight info.

Amazing management and staff here. Late night arrival with two small kids and they went above and beyond for us. Treats for the kids, got to keep a luggage trolly overnight to make our morning departure easier, complementary waters, and exceptionally friendly treatment. If made all the difference coming from an East coast flight. Excellent breakfast on par with breakfast at European hotels. Nice living room and spacious bedroom overlooking the bay- gorgeous to wake up to. We will definitely come again!

The Tap and Taproom Restaurant has really bad service. Had to eat there 5 times. A real bummer.

Check-in was weird. Gave us the wrong code for the internet. Pretty mindless mistake.

we stayed at this hotel on may 23rd 2020.location is great right by the bay.room was nice with a great view of the bay.nice size room with a fridge and microwave oven.that's the plus,now the negatives.hopefully the manager will read this review and try to fix the problems as they are real easy to fix.the problem was with the guests.seems like on the weekends most of the guests are local party goers.well there is nothing wrong with local party goers except the type of local party goers.let me elaborate.the minute we parked in our spot right in the front there were people trowing stuff from the 4th floor balcony on the cars and other guests,some type of liquid and they were not trying to hide it,instead they were laughing real out loud when they were doing it.a lady hotel worker who saw it started warning them but i think they were too drunk to listen,you think any nice hotel would send security up to the room but not here because when we got in our car in the morning there were broken glass bottles right in the front,seems like they were thrown from the same room and bunch of other garbage right in the front of the hotel but nobody seemed to bother cleaning.and for the rest of the guests?don't ask,it was bad looking crowd.we had to keep our window facing the bay close all night because of the noise and smoke,around seven am we woke up and opened the window,oh no,from next door smell of pot was coming in.so we closed it again.it was party all night long,seems like a hang out for kids to rent a room,whole bunch of them in one room and party all night.honestely you wouldn't expect that in a motel 6.let alone a nice hotel.when checking out i asked lady at the front desk if they housed homeless people at the hotel and she explained about weekend locals just renting rooms.too bad we wont be going there again although the hotel is nice otherwise.

Great place to celebrate New Years with my loved ones. They had a great atmosphere going all night, and being right on the ocean was so beautiful!

For the customer service. I have never went to an embassy suites that treats the guest like this one. And I not only have gone to the other ones but have been to many others all over but this one tops poor customer service. The complimentary breakfast is actually counted. You have to provide your room number the card they give you in order to eat from the chief made breakfast bar.

The excuse that I was provided by the staff is that they are trying to avoid people eating here but did not stay here. This place is so far away from regular traffic that it would be so obvious to catch people like that.

The pool is also a big problem because they now have security and the pool is regulated on how many people are in there at a time.

If you plan to stay here with kids, probably not for you. If you are a couple, it may work for you.

I'm not really familiar with the brand, but it's got the trappings of a luxury hotel -- beautiful common dining area where they serve free breakfast -- but the rooms of a 2-star motel. Room service serves until midnight, which is great, but they got our order wrong.

It worked as a nice place to crash for a couple and sister the night before an early flight, but it was expensive (~$280 for room, ~$80 room service for salad, 2 desserts, and non-alcohol beverages) for what it was.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites for a business trip, at the start the trip was very good. Room was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the view and pool. However my issues came with the financial aspects of the trip. I originally paid a fixed rate for booking early and paying the entire stay up front. three days later when I went to check in I noticed the said that i was being charged almost 300 dollars more although I had already paid for the entire stay. i called customer service and was assured I would not be charged I asked for a receipt for proof of payment. When went to the front desk I again asked about the situation and made sure I would not be charged, again i was assured I would not be charged. So i was very surprised when the day after I checked out I received a 300 dollar charge to my card. I called to make sure it was not an issue with the room or some other random charge I had incurred and was told no it was because the rate had changed and I had to pay that amount. But again according to the pay ahead policy rate changes should not affect me. After calling they told me they would refund me in 3-5 business days. Its now been 6 I am going to have to call again and talk to the fourth person about this issue. On top of that the charge has now been sitting on my credit card accruing interest. Very frustrated with their customer service.

I've stayed at this hotel several times now and always have a good experience. Free breakfast is great, the view and rooms were great.

Im trying to get a hold of corporate this was the worst unpleasant visit ever! Had to be moved 2 times front desk manager very rude i spent a lot of money for 2 rooms and we had family who booked a room as well who had to be moved we checked in fri august 28 and checked out sunday roomsbare horrible they smell this hotel is so outdated trust the reviews if bv your thinking of booking here go some were else this is a horrible place to stay!! Im sticking with Marriott

The hotel itself is pretty nice, but I pull the rating down due to the cheap, penny-pinching management at this particular location.

Unlike other embassy suites, this management has taken measures to really penny oinch and ensure that gursts don't "overeat" at what os a buffet at other embassy suites.

Others have cooking dtations with lines for stuff like omelettes, but this location insistes on putting all hot foods behind what is iften the 20-30 minute wait line.

Myself, I just love bacon, and always love (loved) embassy suites for having the best buffet with bacon offering.
But here, have to wait in a 20-30 minute line, then beg the server, who by default gives you just 2-3 slices, for more, then "even more please?".

Hopefully this lication willnt get credit for how much money they saved on cheap-o stuff like breakfast, and then others will follow, ruining choosing to stay at this chain, for me.

BTW - similar tbing with the complementary happy hour bar.
Its a looooong wait even to get something as simple as a bottle of beer.
Infact, evenna coke! - because whike they DO have a self serve machine for that, it quickly runs out of ice, which they willnt replenish until tomorrow breakfast.
So you still have to wait on the long drink line of you want COLD soda.
Maybe tjis later item is an isolated incident, but it happened 2 days in a row now...

Was attending a work party. Food was great! Hotel was great! Highly recommend.

Nice room for a reasonable price. Grand scale atrium is very classy. Complementary breakfast, including breakfast buffet with omelette station was very nice.

Lovely hotel, great center gardens. Drinks and snacks at night are a nice touch, and the breakfast is superb, especially the fresh made omelets. Rooms were nice, big with office space and 2 tvs.

The price was a little high for being at the airport and listening to flights come in all day and night.

There were five of us and had 2 sweets with 2 rooms each and 1 king-size bed each and a couch that could be folded out into a double bed. The mattresses were very soft or worn that you couldn't sleep well in them. There were very few hygiene items in the bathroom. Breakfast mediocre, there is also room for improvement here. The staff was friendly, but I expected more from this hotel.

I always enjoy my stays at Embassy Suites. This one was better when they were serving their traditional breakfast, but that will hopefully return someday. Great views!

Room was nice and spacious. Unfortunately, sofa bed was very painful and hard to sleep on. The other king bed was nice. Washroom was clean but small. Breakfast was great! Free and delicious with lots of options. Service was good as well. Prompt with requests and did their best to ensure we had a pleasant stay. View is spectacular! Right by the ocean. You can even catch little crabs and get some nice photos.

The location is picturesque, right on the bay. The interior of the hotel is very nice, very much the look of a resort. My room in particular, was nice. A couple of things that I thought the hotel would have taken care of. First, the anti-skid coating on the tub had been peeling. It appeared as though the tub was dirty. I've experienced worse, so no big deal. But, the tub faucet leaked, a lot. With the drought notices posted all over the place, I was surprised to see that. The room temperature was on the warm side, even after lowering the thermostat to 65. The fitness center was ok. A few ellipticals, two treadmills, two bikes, a resistance tower, some dumbbells. The pool and hot tub looked nice. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. The staff was cordial and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Paid $35 a night for parking and there were hardly any spaces. There was a second parking lot but it was blocked off with cones and caution tape. We had to park on the street the second night we were there. Tried to enter through the side door and it was locked so we had to walk around to the front of the hotel. Did not use the refrigerator the first night so we slept fine and thought everything was good. Couldn t sleep the second night once we put a couple items into the refrigerator. It wasn t full at all but made loud clunking noises and didn t stop when we took our things out. We had to unplug the unit. Wasn t aware that breakfast was available because the front desk didn t tell us at all. Discovered it as we were checking out when we saw people in line. Just assumed they canceled free breakfast because of COVID. Will not be booking again. Definitely not the Hilton experience that we are used to. Expected more from this hotel because we stayed at Embassy Suites La Jolla a month prior and the staff and hotel were spectacular.

One must always take into account extra charges for wireless internet and a parking lot -- that's disappointing

Stayed there during a layover to China. The hotel was very clean and the front desk guy was very professional and awesome! The included breakfast was amazing and the free shuttle to the airport was the icing on the cake.

Good views, easy access to the airport, a decent breakfast, and I can confirm the fire alarm system does work. They tested it as I was leaving.

Location is superb! Walking trail right outside along the water, taking in the airport happenings and San Francisco's downtown in the distance. Beautiful atrium as usual and about twice the size of a normal Embassy Suites'. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked about certain suggestions. Proximity to airport is great, as I was there in less than 10 minutes. I won't hesitate to stay again if my business needs find me in San Francisco again!

Ryaz is a a great guy! He went the extra mile for us and our stay if off to a great start!

It was a nice room with a great breakfast and a great view

There are wonderful views, friendly staff, and big rooms. There's a daily parking fee. They have an airport shuttle and since I usually stay here prior to a flight, is easier for me to return my rental vehicle the day of arrival at the hotel and use the shuttle.

Beautiful area but needs updated rooms TV's are super old and small

Here for conference, good food, organized and comfortable conference room. Was given newer remodeled room on 9th floor. Very uncomfortable as can not set thermostat. Have to open windown every so slightly to get some cool air in but it was so windy and so loud at night that we could not sleep with the window open. So with it closed 70 degrees in room. Will not stay here again.

It is a standard Embassy Suites, but the service is FANTASTIC! I don't usually like to stay at Embassy Suites as the room quality is questionable, but I will always stay at this hotel strictly due to the phenomenal customer service.

Breakfast buffet was really nice. Quiet hotel and huge room.
