Took delivery of a new T Cross for wife. Took over a month from landing, after pdi fault found. No fanfare, very disappointing experience. Hope future service is not like that.

In March this year I went into the dealership and purchased a VW polo Tsi. My salesman was Nigel Hastibeer. We recieved outstanding service from him. This has caused me to go back this September where I purchased a Golf 7 GTI from nigel and yet again the service was excellent. Nigel is not only our salesman but has become a close friend. We are looking forward to doing many more deals with him.

I booked my car for an overheating problem, they made assumptions and said that nothing is wrong with the car. A week later my car overheated again and when I called they kept saying I need to speak to SHAUN.The call kept getting cut when they transfered me. No one wanted to assist me. It's terrible service from them, clearly I will never go back to them ever again. Remember you guys are getting paid for your job. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT!!!

In my line of work I deal with motor vehicle dealerships on a daily basis. I would highly recommend VW Umhlanga to anybody looking to purchase or service their vehicle. The ambience of the dealership is immaculate and polished. The receptionist Shanall Bechan fits this description as she is precise and professional. Her friendly smile at the counter is delightful. Will definitely be visiting again.

My car was sent in for a service in Dec 2019. The people that worked on the vehicle seem to be incompetent as they filled 3 litres of oil extra into the car. This then caused the car to start smoking and switch off. Car had to be towed which resulted in the damage of 1 the control arms. Neither parties want to take responsibility for the damage to the vehicle which means more cost to me. Absolutely pathetic.

I was very disappointed in the service I received from Nigel. I waited 4 days for him to send me the offer to purchase. When he eventually sent it to me he also informed me that someone has paid a holding fee on the vehicle the same day he sent me the offer to purchase. If he had sent me the offer to purchase when I asked for it I would have bought the vehicle before any of the holding fee issue happened.

One star is compliant in this case... Probably the worst dealership in the country.... car went in to get gearbox housing fixed....they mixed up our details with another vw clients details....car was in there for over a week...go to pick it up only to find the car had been vandalized.... numberplate (which was pop riveted on) ripped off light broken... and they deny responsibility.

Thanks to the service manager who sorted our car out for us... but your response is a bit bais.... first of all the car as per your CCTV footage came in With both number plates on...to say "number plate was missing" is a bit misleading. Incorrect Vin was not given to you...your staff went to the car and took it down... then once warranty approval was given the part arrived quickly sourcing the part was not the issue... the fact that the warranty claim was done with a mix of ours and another person's details is what delayed the process... we thank the service manager for all his help resolving the issues we had there.
