Had the best experience at McCarthy Chevrolet in Lee Summit and I know I owe it all to my salesman Sam Searcy. Sam appeared young but had the salesmanship if a rookie. I bought my truck 6months ago and he still calls to check on me and the truck. I will continue to send friends/family/clients his direction. Thanks again Sam.

Dishonest. I came in and was very upfront on the price I would offer for a car, and was told after 2 days of talking that if I came up a little more that we would have a deal. I said ok. Then when the deal was ready to be closed they had written up the paperwork for $2000 more than what was previously agreed upon. All the salesman said was that was, the best he could do. I had already explained multiple times that my budget was strict and I would not finance, but after my complaint to both the salesman and the manager about the dishonest pricing, I was told that if they were me they would just finance the extra cost. Either they never listened to me as the customer when I had voiced multiple times that my offer was all of the money I had to spend on a car because I needed to save money for a baby due in Spring and that I could not take on any debt. Or they blatantly lied to me and wasted time I could have spent looking for a car for my family. Or they just flat out tried to steal $2000 from me at the last second hoping I either wouldn t care or wouldn t notice that the deal had drastically changed. I wouldn t trust them. An absolutely horrible experience. I will be telling others not to do business with them unless they enjoy being lied to and having their time wasted. Thanks for nothing McCarthy.

Carl Gray was a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions in a timely manner and was very patient with us as we made our decision. He worked with us within our budget and made the whole process pretty painless.

No one seemed to know anything about their own trucks first off. Could not answer any questions. Simple ones about what type of engines, features, etc. But the worst thing was after I got back and noticed my paperwork/contract I see they over charged me for my service contract that we agreed on. Then they said when I called they would call me back after they looked into it. It has been a week and no one has attempted to call me yet. So it tells me they screwed up and don't want to own up to it.

It was a very good experience at McCarthy Chevrolet, friendly staff and the atmosphere was awesome. I would definitely tell friends and family to shop there.

We went out car shopping and this was one of our top 2 contenders. Our first day we were really just test driving. The salesman was very nice and brought us everything we asked for and was very knowledgeable about all of the possible options that we had available to us. The staff were friendly and the showroom was clean and nice looking. I test drove the Kona, and it was probably the 6th or 7th car that I had driven that day and I really loved it. It was fun to drive and it looked sporty and cute. It was definitely my favorite car that I had driven that day but I didn t really have time to make a decision and we didn t really have time to test drive any more that day, so the salesman offered to let me take it for an extended test drive over the weekend. I thought that was a really nice thing for them to do and it was super nice to not feel pressured to make a snap decision on the spot. We came back Monday and also test drove the Tacoma and the Santa Fe. I really liked the Kona and overall we had a really good experience at Olathe McCarthy Hyundai. Would definitely give them another shot next time around!

Went in recently in a bind. Delt with chris who seemed very eager to help at first. But while he said he would give me a call in a couple days he did not. Whe i called his direct line he said he just got in and would call me back in 30 minutes. He did not after that he wouldnt answer calls from me or reply to email. Very unprofessional. Got approved the same day from another dealer. Wouldnt recommend wasting your time if you are not made of money

McCarthy Chevrolet provided the upmost customer service and not only gave my husband a great deal, but myself as well. We bought a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox yesterday from McCarthy in Olathe. Our buying experience was great! My wife and I both agree that our salesman, Derek Mason, was the best that we have ever had when buying a car. Derek didn't hurry us, explained everything where we could understand. He used no pressure. We were happy with him from the beginning until when we drove away in the new car. We are older seniors who have lived in 8 states plus Ontario so probably have bought 25 or more cars from many different type salesman. Derek is definite the best of all that we have had.

The work is done on time and correctly every time. Chris and McCarthy have provided me with the best service of my vehicle I have ever received and I have been driving for about 44 years.

Marshall went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the truck I was most comfortable with. He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on a truck, the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I felt like family by the end of the whole process! Absolutely terrible service from the body shop and the service department. I had my 2014 Chevy Volt repaired by their body shop for drivers side front and rear suspension related to a curb that I hit. It literally took the body shop 30 days for them to complete the repair, which in itself is completely unacceptable. This review however covers the body shop AND the terrible customer service I received from their service advisor on the service drive

Shortly after receiving my car back from the body shop, my check engine light, stabilitrak light, and brake assist light came on. I contacted OnStar immediately and they provided me with the codes indicating that it was related to an electrical fault in the left rear wheel speed sensor.

I took the vehicle in for it to be looked at at the Chevrolet Service Department, gave the advisor the codes, and told him that I thought that it may be related to the work that the body shop had performed on it. He said that if he were to diagnose it that it would cost me the diagnostic fee, plus the repairs. He said that I needed to contact the body shop myself as they were not connected to them, even though the body shop was directly next door (in the same parking lot) AND the service dept would already have it up on the lift doing the rotation and oil change on my vehicle.

I was obviously frustrated, and proceeded to call the body shop myself to explain the situation and ask if they could send someone over just to do a quick check while it was already on the lift (located next door to them). He finally agreed and sent someone over and then proceeded to come out to the service lounge with the advisor to tell me that the error was unrelated to the work that they had performed for the repairs in the body shop. That the speed sensor is actually just a maintenance item and that they were not responsible for it.

Fast forward to today, I got tired of dealing with all of the error code lights on my dash and proceeded to jack up my car, remove the wheel, to find that the bolt that attaches the wheel speed sensor wire to the hub, was barely attached. They literally placed the bolt in and started the threads on it, then never bothered to tighten the bolt down. I'm honestly surprised the bolt was still there. Every time I hit a bump, the wire sensor would slide up the bolt away from the hub and it would throw a code.

So was it related to the shotty work from their body shop? Yes, absolutely. No one else has touched the vehicle after the accident and repairs. Did they bother to even check to see if it had a loose connection when I asked them if it was related to their repairs? No. Instead they wanted to charge me a diagnostic for it as a "maintenance item".

This is absolutely unacceptable. For it to take the body shop 30 days for them to fix the car, then be unwilling to check on something as simple as a loose bolt or loose connection, because it was "a maintenance item and was unrelated to the repairs they did" is absolute bull.

It took me less than a minute to see what they themselves failed to do.

I rarely give 5 stars for anything but James and Mike made the entire buying experience completely painless. Friendly, professional and the process was very efficient.

We drove four and a half hours from a different state to buy a truck from this dealership. They made us a good deal and we decided to go with them than another deal we had going from another dealership. They got us approved with a better rate as well. This was a great deal all around....until we got there. The 2020 Chevy 2500 High Country, that we drove four and a half hours to get, was not as it was described. "Perfect" was what Jamie Harrigan, our salesperson, described the truck as being, and that was far from the truth. My husband got out of the truck and went to look at it and the whole bed was pushed into the cab. If you look at the bed liner, the floor is separated from the front and very noticeable. When we told Jamie, he acted like he had no clue. How does a vehicle go through your shop and that get missed? I guess they thought that we wouldn't notice or we would and wouldn't care. They didn't offer to do anything for us. I went in to go talk to Eric, the sales manager, and he wouldn't even come down to talk to me. This dealership is a joke! We left without a truck. Also, to add all the sales people were sitting around the front desk and not professional at all!

I just want to thank and would highly recommend working with Siam Sangkhanet. He was very efficient, thoughtful, kind and showed attention to detail with prompt communication throughout my recent car-buying experience. The dealership was very professional and easy to work with from start to finish. Respected my time and gave me good numbers from the start rather than playing cat & mouse in the finance department. They were very reasonable with the trade in values on my cars & they were willing to work with me in order to get to the numbers that I needed to get to in order to make the deal work.

Frank in Sales was wonderfully patient. This was my first ever vehicle purchase, I knew what I wanted and he didn't try to talk me into anything else. He was supportive of us looking at other dealerships. I set out to purchase the 2019 Santa Fe SE. Financing was able to get me a great interest rate under 10% even with fair credit. They were also able to get me into the next trim level, the SEL with better discount. I appreciated that they don't push a sale, they see you as an investor. Frank sat with me to go over all the features inside the vehicle when I went to pick her up. I'm now a proud owner of my very first ever brand new vehicle. Frank has checked in to make sure features are working properly which I appreciate more. Thank you McCarthy Hyundai with extra special thanks to Frank in sales and Adam in financing.
