Only issue I can think of is that moving the finance office to the Chevrolet dealership added some inconvenience and wait time to the process, but I understand doing so if it helps reduce cost.

Got a good deal, but not a good experience with customer service. In addition they did not educate us at all on our new vehicle. Customer service was very lacking.

Pedro was awesome! He answered every phone call and got me taken care of right away. Best service rep that I have encountered here and every other dealership. The shop informant, don't remember his name, was very helpful too. He found out what was wrong within about 5-10 minutes.

Larry Miller is always the best. Called him to schedule service, he took care of that plus the recalls for my vehicle. Told me how long it was going to take, the repairs were actually done 5 min quicker than he said. He makes your service visits very personable. I purchased my 2015 Buick Encore from McCarthy Chevrolet on 3/19/18. I had a very positive experience with both the dealership and my salesman, Nick Cathey. He helped me find the perfect vehicle for me and my family. He was patient as I drove several vehicles and very knowledgeable about every model I drove. The whole purchasing process went very smoothly and I would highly recommend this dealership and Nick Cathey!

Don't let them take your money as a down to hold 2 days till you can come in to buy/pick up a car. THEY WILL NOT HOLD IT. And Trust me, if we'd decided not to buy the car, they would have kept the "down".

We were told we could buy/pick up the car on Saturday morning and received a call minutes before walking out the door to get it, that they had sold the car to someone else! No explanation, just SORRY CHARLIE. Never again would we go to this dealer for any car and I suggest anyone else to stay away!!

As my family and I were relocating from Nashville, Tennessee, to Overland Park, Kansas, I totaled my Silver 2019 Chevy Trax by dodging debris on interstate 70 in Kingdom City, Missouri, and wanted a similar vehicle.

When I went to McCarthy Chevrolet, Ruben Ontiveros listened to my experiences from 2 nearby Chevrolet dealerships, walked me through the car shopping process, and provided reasonable options to accommodate my situation. He was very personable, had a great sense of humor, and even recommended a barbecue restaurant since my family just relocated to Kansas.

Steven Salazar addressed a problem with my GM Card earnings. Once he resolved the issue (address change from TN to KS), he successfully obtained my award earnings and they were applied to my new car. Now he'll be prepared if a similar complication arises in the future for a potential candidate.

Kevin Robinson worked with GM Financial to obtain a decent finance rate, even though I had an existing balance due to the recent car accident -- the balance was recently taken care of by the auto insurance company. He was extremely organized and I didn't feel pressure at all with the set financial terms. I was very impressed with the delivery method for my documentation: on a flash drive. Such technology was unavailable in Nashville where I purchased the Silver 2019 Chevy Trax.

Ulises Ibarra was beyond polite when I picked up my Gray 2019 Chevy Trax. He was prepared to take the rental car to Enterprise (Enterprise drove me to McCarthy Chevrolet), eager to explain the features on the Gray Trax (I don't think he knew the Gray Trax was a replacement for the Silver Trax), and clarified the Kansas car registration process. I have to say that Tennessee is far less complicated than Kansas, but the technology used in Kansas is outstanding.

Overall, my experience at McCarthy Chevrolet was very positive.

Derek Mason was extremely knowledgeable about all of the cars and technology at McCarthy Chevrolet! He had a very positive demeanor and we will definitely work with him in the future.

Took my car in for a special coverage warranty, this warranty covers a part that is exposed to water due to a manufacturing defect. This defect is detrimental to the car's entire user interface. From the moment I got there they were looking for a reason to not work on my car, barraging me with questions that had no significance to the problem at hand. Ultimately the mechanic settles on the decision that he would not work on my car or honor the special coverage warranty all because of a rebuilt title. These lazy people aren't worth your business. Honestly.

Purchased a 2015 Equinox from Mcarthy Chevrolet. This is my 4th Chevrolet purchased from Mcarthy dating back to 1997. Experience was exceptional as always. My favorite dealer bar none! Maintenance box truck needed repair and had to be towed to dealership, service advisor gave me tow service information, prompt response to get truck in the shop for diagnosis and order parts for repair. Shawn Dearing is always helpful, gave me a loaner car while truck was in the shop. Shawn kept us informed as repairs were being made. Truck is back in service.

What a Joke....

I buy a car with a warranty and these people can't even perform an oil change properly. I have had the car for three months and the Check Oil Level light came on. Upon inspection I found a that the car was 3 quarts low on oil! I looked under the vehicle and saw no leaks, weeps or seeps whatsoever. So, I had a friend drive the car while I followed in another. No smoke came out of the vehicle and the engine is performing just fine. I added the additional 3 quarts as to not burn up the motor until I could get to the dealership to have it looked at.

I called and spoke to the newly appointed Pre-Owned Manager who said he would get me back to service to have them take a look at the vehicle (which essentially is a way for him to get rid of an irate customer that has a good and 100% valid point). He sends me back to the service department and I tell them about the oil level issue. They decided that I was an idiot, I guess, so they decided to write it up as "car is using oil, customer states" which I NEVER stated. Also, the TPMS system kept showing the left front sensor dropping out so I wanted them to look at that as well.

The next day I get a call saying that they couldn't find any leaks (it's nice to know these guys waste their technicians time looking at things that are 100% obvious to anyone) and my TPMS system is 100%! There was apparently a recall on the Oil Pan gasket that was ISSUED BY GM, that the "warranty company isn't going to cover". When I asked of the condition of the engine he couldn't tell me anything because the technician had not done what I asked because the service writer decided I didn't know what my car was doing so he wrote it up completely wrong.

Today I get in my car to go to work (One day after I pick up the car) and the AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON along with the TPMS that has now mover from the left front to the right front (It has a bad sensor, but that would require them fixing something and admitting they were wrong)

So now, I get to live with an Air bag light, a mystery engine that may or may not fail due to the negligence of a technician that did not perform an oil chance and an incompetent service writer who did not hear what I asked them to do and decided to make his own decision on what MY car is doing.

This place is a joke. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy stop at that place to take a leak. I guess I will have to go to a real dealership that has some integrity to check out my engine to ensure no damage has been done.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unless you like being jerked around and treated like an idiot by people who don't listen.

Went to these guys to see what they could do with a car I thought I was stuck in. After some conversation and honest dealings with Carl Gray, he got me in the Truck I wanted and out of a bad investment with my car. I highly recommend McCarthy Chevy. If you're reading this review, Carl Gray will not only shoot it to you straight, but he will work with you until you get what you need!

Got my new Equinox yesterday and want to shout to the world how wonderful it is to work with Carl Gray he will definitely listen to what you want and work to be sure you are happy with your new car! McCarthy Chevrolet is fortunate to have him on their sales team!!

Initially the person working with us was great. They helped to try to find a vehicle that was in our budget and that worked for us. After the initial salesman everything went downhill. Being a first time car buyer, both me and my husband got taken advantage of by McCarthy (Olathe, KS). The end price we agreed on was $19,000 (after taxes and fees) but we when everything was said and done, we ended up paying over $24,000. We knowingly added a protection plan and GAP insurance, but there were back end prices that they were not up front about. We didn't see this final number until we went back to get the car deed and receipt for the car the 2 weeks later. After reviewing the 'itemized list' of charges, nothing lined up and several things were added or missing. After THREE emails to the person that sold us the car he finally responded nearly a month later and just pushed us on to his manager. We ended up getting a small amount back after this. What they didn't tell us was, the money we were getting back was actually for canceling our protection plan. So, nearly a year later we were trying to get our windshield fixed after a rock cracked it (covered under the protection plan) and come to find out, we are no longer covered. I would never go back to this place and would NEVER recommend them to any of my friends or family.

We drove 7 hours to meet with Kade in order to purchase a new pick up. Kade was amazing he was straightforward and to the point. We felt like he listened to our needs and the dealership was very welcoming. Kade did a great job relating to us and needs a raise!! We will be back again. Thank you!
