TLDR: Sales associate ran a hard inquiry on credit check, even after telling him multiple times not too. And was reassured he wouldn't.

About a year ago, I came here to look at cars. Test drove a Camaro, and wasn't very sure about it, and thought I would come back after I had checked out some other cars.

The salesmen was real giddy to run a credit check. (Guessing they get a kick back on this) I remember telling him 5-10 times to NOT run a check, as I wasn't really looking at getting down to price. I'd listen to his ball parks and he reassured me he wouldn't run my credit. Yet, today I see on my credit check, they ran a hard inquiry. Fantastic guys. Didn't do much more than ding me a point. However, I will be sure to tell friends, coworkers, family, strangers to close to this business about this incident. I hope that was worth the commission, for running an inquiry. I get that I'm too trusting and should have known better. O well.

Bryan Helped a lot , with the best cars that could fit our family outta the 3 best choices that second one was definitely it . I m in love already not to mention my first big purchase. We are blessed . Thanks again Bryan - Hey he s definitely the guy to go to and TRUST .

When I started my research I was planning on testing every brand that sells a 3rd row SUV. I met with Aaron who did an excellent job of demonstrating the features of the Traverse that just aren't in other vehicles at that price. Still, I was unsure about if it would work in our budget. Nick Cathey was incredibly helpful in confirming my thoughts around the pricing, options, and financing. He was very personable and easy going, which created a relaxed dialogue rather than the pressure most salespeople put on you. I left the lot, but scheduled time to test drive with my wife. Nick followed up with me when something came up, which I really appreciated and thought was professional, and arranged for someone to know exactly what we were already looking at. Jordon met with us and we were pretty far apart on the deal. We were okay with that and fine walking away, but negotiations went surprisingly well. We were about to agree on a vehicle, but at the last minute we mentioned there was an option we'd like to have. Before we knew it, they had pulled a vehicle from another dealership that was identical but had the feature we wanted. It was impressive! We ended up getting a Traverse that is more than we had hoped. It really was a team effort and all the staff was outstanding.

Dale Mercer the sales manager did everything he could to accomodate our needs; he was honest and stated the facts; Dale was able to locate a vehicle for my 16 years old that he wanted and was also able to make the deal happen within our our goal.

Jeremy the finance manager stayed after hours on a blizzard night to make sure all the numbers are what we are comfortable with and all documents are signed.

Have been a customer at McCarthy Chevrolet for over 20 years now. I always get great service and they have always shot straight with me on needed repairs.
This time was shocked and disappointed to learn that they have discontinued the courtesy van service. I utilized that service most of the time instead of waiting on my vehicle repairs. The courtesy van, in my eyes, is an essential need. Please bring it back and then your 5 star rating will return.

My husband and I worked with Tony Jaklevich and will recommend him and the Mccarthy Chevrolet company to all our friends and family! They are honest, straight forward and don't play the back to back games a lot of other dealerships play. They gave us a great deal on our trade in and on the new vehicle we purchased. Siam Sangkhanet was very nice and actually "real". He was more knowledgeable than just about any other salesmen I've come in to contact with. If he didn't know the answer to one of my million questions about the numbers or warranty, he didn't bs, he would find the answer quickly. Not a pushy salesman... hard to come by. He was everything a car salesman usually isn't (in a good way).. Very happy with our 2017 Malibu. Siams the guy!

I always have an awesome experience in the service department. Whether I go in for a repair or regular maintenance, Ken always takes care of my truck. I can't remember a single time that we wasn't standing outside my truck, ready to help me before I could even get out. He's always eager to help and makes sure my service is completed asap.

Oil change and tire rotation; they found a screw in one of my tires; patched and repaired and I was on my way. You get an inspection sheet and we discussed up and coming maintenance; I very please with this dealership at both locations.

I was told by both the salesman and the finance manager that I would get a $300.00 bird dog fee for bringing in a customer. When I did less than 2 days later, they dropped the bird dog fee down to $200.00.
Then they wouldn't give me the title to the truck I had bought because they said I owed them an additional $100.00 on the down payment I had put down.
This happened after the finance manager, Kevin Robinson had called me saying I needed to pay $280.00 more, before they'd be able to release the $300.00 bird dog fee to me... So I gave Kevin my debit card number, and paid the $280.00...
When I show up to collect my bird dog fee of $300.00, this is when Kevin told me they had only given me $200.00..
Bottom line is they have a class act general manager at McCarthy Chevrolet, and he waved the $100.00 the finance department thought I owed them, and gave me my title.
Don't get me wrong, they found me second chance financing, but they still tried to get an extra $100.00 out of me, which I did not owe them!

I just bought my car with them and was a great experience. Ruben is a awesome sales guy and helped through the process. The finance person, that unfortunately I forgot the name to mention here, did also a amazing job. Definitely I would be back to buy my next car.

Do NOT use their service department, we have had so many negative interactions with them it s too many to count. The men (I say men because that s all I ve ever dealt with) are rude and arrogant. Our first issue came about a year after purchasing the car when we went for a simple oil change. They had the car for three hours and we returned to pick it up they hadn t touched it. Needless to say we quit using them for a while for oil changes... About three years later we took the car in for an oil change and told them that it was making a horrible rattling noise and asked them to look into it. They assured me absolutely nothing was wrong. Well for my next oil change I went to McCarthy in Lee s Summit, as they are very friendly and I prefer to work with them. Not shocked to have them tell me they found two broken ball joints and stated that the car wasn t even safe to drive . The Olathe location tried to tell me it must ve just happened due to potholes even though the incident had been occurring since October before any potholes occurred after the long winter. Fast forward to today, we went to have my tires rotated and found out that her car had gone through a brand new set a tires for less than a 20 months. The tire shop suggested we take the car in to look for mechanical issues as this is not a typical problem of the tires they have put on. When I called the Olathe dealership to make an appointment the man told me and that s probably the cheap tires they have put on and told me they would look at it but it probably wasn t anything wrong with the car it was probably just bad tires. These are just a few of the many issues we have had with the dealership, I could go on and on. Needless to say we will not be returning to this dealership and I would recommend to anyone looking for friendly, fast service do the same!

This is my second time working with Heath McRoy when I say he was the best I mean that both times I had challenging situations he made it happen not just one time but two times. Even when I lost hope he didn t get give up. THANK YOU For being the best salesman!!

My experience here was Amazing from the time I walked into the door until the time I left the lot, I received outstanding service. My experience dealing with our salesperson at McCarthy Chevrolet was great. His name was Heath. The whole experience is smooth and very laid-back. The only thing I didn't like was there was a hidden fee from the internet price versus the actual price. But he did whatever he could work with us. He was great!

I was greeted by Cliff Fitzpatrick who is a salesman at the Olathe, KS location. He was very knowledgeable , courteous, and made you feel very comfortable, never pushy like other car salesmen can be. He genuinely wanted to make sure you were happy with your decision making when selecting a vehicle.

I had a power steering issue and was glad to have repairs done. A costly fix, service advisor Chris took good care of the situation. I felt I got treated fairly. Communication was great.

i scheduled an appointment at 8am. after waiting for three hours ricky marnell called and explained what was wrong with my vehicle and said it would be one more hour until my car was finished. another THREE hours went by and i saw him standing up at the desk and went up and asked how much longer i was going to have to wait. he said "oh your car has been done for awhile, i did not know you were here." i never once said i was leaving. i never got a call, nobody came and got me from the waiting room. honestly ridiculous and unprofessional.
