I could write a novel on how poor of an experience we had at McCarthy Chevrolet, but to make a VERY long story short here you go: My husband and I traded in our two vehicles and purchased two new (used) vehicles on the same day. We both have spent so much time making (multiple) trips back and fourth to their service center, because of issues that kept coming up with the vehicles, after we purchased them. I'm not sure how you do a 172 point inspection, but miss a bent rim, bad wheel bearing, and strut issues...I purchased my vehicle on 5/9/2020 and didn't officially have it in my possession until almost a month later. due to the lack of urgency or understanding. Two weeks after the dealership warranty expired...I had to spend money out of pocket to replace a wheel bearing, that I knew was already an issue, but was told that "You probably just need to get used to driving the new vehicle"! Same goes for my husband and the truck he purchased-transmission issues, and bad ball joint. The lack of urgency to fix the issues, the lack of urgency to return phone calls....WE WON'T EVER COME HERE AGAIN, NOR WILL WE RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Also, if you forget something in the vehicle you traded in, make sure you go back same day to get it....our salesman lied to us and told us he did not see the items we were looking for, but when my husband went to pick his truck up from the service center, he saw our old vehicle parked out back and the items we were looking for...

I can't speak to car sales here, but their service department does a great job. Our ambassador greeted us professionally and cordially. He treated us like a neighbor, and we appreciated it. We negotiated what needed to be done, what it would cost and how long it would take. The car was done on time and within budget. We will continue to get our Chevy serviced here and we recommend them.

I had a great experience at McCarthy Chevrolet! I was a little nervous going to the dealership while my husband was out of town, but they were very helpful in answering all of my questions regarding the vehicle. We were able to quickly purchase the car and they were very reasonable with the offer. The part that stood out the most was the honesty of the car condition. They made sure to let us know up front that it had previously recorded damage and worked with us to have it fixed in a timely fashion. Carl Gray was our salesperson and was willing to stay with us after hours on a Saturday night in order to close the deal so we wouldn't need to wait until Monday. The entire staff was very helpful and attentive, but we also did not feel pressured into purchasing anything. We appreciate their flexibility and highly recommend using them!

This is the second time I purchased through McCarthy is Olathe. I worked with Ethan and he was great. Very personable, LOW pressure, and all around enjoyable to work with! He went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied regardless of what it would or wouldn t do for him. He was genuine and honest. Definitely made my experience enjoyable and fun! While Ethan was wonderful the experience I have had as a result of the financing advisor was awful. I had gone in to buy a car for myself, with my significant other as the CO-SIGNER. However, the finance guy placed my significant other as the primary, upon pointing this out and asking questions the advisor could have changed it and refused stating it didn t make a difference which name was where. Well upon further investigation this isn t the truth. When receiving the financial paperwork my name was no where to be found when I will the one financially responsible. Upon going to register and tag the car since his name was first on the title (again because the advisor said it didn t matter who was first) I had to pay MORE money because I had to buy an extra month. While this is not the issue, but the issue being upon principle. This dealership is sneaky in certain drawings telling whatever the customer wants to hear to close the sale. This isn t right, if a customer is voicing certain concerns they should be addressed and a solution should be found. Instead we received half information that was incorrect, and now my significant other and I are having to go through multiple hoops and figure out how to rectify their inconvience because the advisor refused to find a solution, or at least give an explanation besides, oh it doesn t matter you ll have no problems. Regardless of the sales associates I will now look to other dealers to fulfill my car buying needs because I refuse to deal with individuals who are giving misinformation.

Stopped by to look at several vehicles that were listed on the website. None of the vehicles were there which is frustrating but on a busy day is understandable I guess they could get behind. My main issue was while looking at other cars I was approached by a salesman. I asked about a car and he said didn t know and was unwilling to go check. He said you folks don t have much spend do you? I politely said thanks for your time and left the lot for the last time.

I've bought multiple vehicles from Heath at your Olathe Kansas location. He always strives to do a great job working with me. I will continue to do business with McCarthy Chevrolet. And use the service department there.

While looking for new Traverse, salesman Marc Carpinelli let us take new one out for the day to make sure it fit our needs and garage, the next morning we took it back, he answered questions about options we wanted and was not on the one we drove, with help from new car manager, Marc was able to find another in stock with the options we wanted only in a different color and able to get sunroof installed without getting packages, options and things we didn't need. thanks

Jesse Rangel worked tirelessly all day to make sure I had a good experience and got what I wanted. He worked seamlessly with Tim Gibson at Chevrolet to be sure I was within my budget and felt comfortable with the purchase. Even the paperwork was painless at the end--Rod Davidson explained all my options and everything I was signing in a way that was easy to understand. I had some extra items placed on my new vehicle. Mr. Trouble is who I worked with couldn't be a kinder most helpful employee at this dealership.

Well this is the first time i leave a good review for a new car dealership, i own many new cars true my life just recently i went to a chevy dealer on stateline and 435 not a good experience like most times, at Mccarthy chevy is where i meet Carl Gray a salesman i will follow him wherever he sales chevrolet product he by far was the best salesman i ever dealt with i highly recommend him to everyone you won't be disappointed, Carl thank you and we will see on my next purchase.

Will never go back here again. Someone put sugar and water in my gas tank so I had it towed to McCarthy. McCarthy had my truck over a month and took pictures of another gas tank to send to my insurance and told them that my issues were mechanical. My claim was denied and McCarthy made me pay them $250 to get my truck back and towed to another company. That company found and had pictures of sugar and water the following. It was fixed in less than a week. I have tried to get my money back from McCarthy because they clearly didn't do a reputable job. Everyone there was rude and called me names. I filed a complaint with BBB which they also said I was wrong. When I submitted a second reply they chose to just ignore the BBB. The complaint has since been closed as UNRESOLVED. I am posting my review so that hopefully no one else will become a victim of McCarthy Chevrolet!

I ve only bought 2 other cars in my life, and my last purchase was 9 years before coming into McCarthy Chevrolet. I worked with Brian White, and he walked me through the process and seemed eager to work with me to help me get the price I wanted. My previous car buying experiences always left me feeling like I was taken advantage of, it after purchasing my used truck from McCarthy I left feeling like Brian had worked hard to create a no pressure situation and negotiate fairly so we left feeling like we weren t taken advantage of

From beginning to end, Ruben Ontiveros was awesome! He kept us informed & helped find just the right color/options. He was the first & only sales person who made contact with us while we were looking at cars in the lot. Even though we weren't ready to purchase then, we knew he was the one we'd go to when we were ready to make the purchase. He was never pushy and was always honest. We have bought several cars at McCarthy over the years and Ruben will be the person we will go to next time we're ready to buy a car.

What a nightmarish journey i have had with McCarthy. Where to begin. I original bought a used Traverse from them in 2012. It was a good car for about 3 months and then it started having ac problems. I took it in expecting the warranty i purchased with the car to cover this. Suprise suprise it was not. The warrant only covered a small amount. I payed over $400 to fix a car i just bought. 4 months go by and the ac goes out again. I go back to McCarthy and these clowns tell me i will have to pay another $400 to get it fixed. Im so mad at this point i tell them to get me out of the car and get me in something different. They took this opportunity to put me upside down in a 2011 cruz. That im still paying for that i bought back in 2013. So the ac goes out in my cruz in the beginningof July this year and come to find out the extended warrantyi bought also expired in the beginningof 2018. So i call McCarthy to see if they can help me out and work with me on getting it fixed. I was met with hostility from there service adviser and used car manager when i asked for any kind of price break. In fact the used car manager said he would lok into it and call me back..... he never did. The only quote i received from McCarthy to fix my ac wad for $800. I found a great local shop AV Transmission, that not only fixed my ac but changed my serpentine belt, and changed my oil all for $680. Point of the story DONT BUY FROM McCarthy in any capacity

My name is Waylon Haling, I bought a new truck from your dealership on September 2nd from Sam. Upon picking the truck up that evening there was a scratch in the rear passenger door. Sam stated he would have it fixed and the dent in the rocker panel when I brought the truck in on Wednesday the 9th to have the leather seats installed and windows tinted. After multiple texts asking if we were good for a drop off on Wednesday, he stated that it was still a go. On Wednesday I dropped the truck off and picked up my loaner which only had a 1/8 of a tank of fuel. Before I could get home Sam called and stated when talking to my service manager he couldn't even get the truck into service till Monday the 14th so we agreed to leave the truck there till complet. At this time I asked Sam to have the finance guy contact me on the extended warranty I purchased to get some paperwork actually showing what warranty I bought and what it covered. He stated he didn't have any paperwork to send me. Odd, when was the last time you bought something and wasn't able to receive any documentation? He stated he would look at it and get back to me which still hasn't happened. On Monday Sam texted me and stated the truck was ready to pick up. Upon arrival at your dealership that evening I walked around the truck. I was totally shocked with the way my truck was repaired. First, the door had touch up paint applied, wait did I buy a used truck? Why was the truck not sent to the body shop and repaired right the first time? The truck had not been cleaned except a 4x4 area in the center of the door where they cleaned it to touch the truck up. The right rear door jamb was gouged where they removed the seat and got into the jamb. Sam said he would send it back to the shop in the morning. It was a wasted trip. The next morning I reached out to your Sales Manager and left a message for him to call me back so we could discuss the event. As of this evening that conversation has never happened. My last conversation from Sam was Tuesday stating the truck was in the shop and would be done Wednesday, As of tonight the truck is still not done.This is my second purchase for Mcarthy and will surely be my last. The professionalism that I have experienced is uncalled for. I truly hope you take this email to heart and make it right so others don't have to experience what I have.

The buying process was fast and easy I was out of there in less than an hour. If you're in the market for a used car go see Anthony "Tony" Jaklevich he is awesome. Literally the best place I have looked at. All salesman are normally pushy but the one I had was the best! His name was Rubin and he was straight with me. Told me to be patient and even wait until the end of the month for a better deal. He was honest and super understanding and let me take my time. The prices are really good there AND they even filled it the tank for me AND brought it to my work because I was unable to pick it up!!! They welcome anyone and everyone! I loved it!!

The only reason I'm even giving them 2 stars is because the sales manager tried in the beginning, but the incompetent sales guy just ticked me off at every turn. Won't be going back even for the free oil changes.

I test drove a Chevy Bolt RV in December of 2019. The sales rep, Kade, was extremely helpful and not pushy in any way making the experience a pleasant one. He was also very creative in thinking of ways to find a Bolt that was just right for me. I would highly recommend him as a valued rep for Chevrolet!

I actually had a great experience buying my new truck at McCarthy. Tyler helped my wife and I find a vehicle and wasn t pushy or annoying at all. He did a great job of explaining the features of of our Silverado and I feel like we were treated very fairly on pricing and financing.
