This is the second time I purchased through McCarthy is Olathe. I worked with Ethan and he was great. Very personable, LOW pressure, and all around enjoyable to work with! He went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied regardless of what it would or wouldn t do for him. He was genuine and honest. Definitely made my experience enjoyable and fun! While Ethan was wonderful the experience I have had as a result of the financing advisor was awful. I had gone in to buy a car for myself, with my significant other as the CO-SIGNER. However, the finance guy placed my significant other as the primary, upon pointing this out and asking questions the advisor could have changed it and refused stating it didn t make a difference which name was where. Well upon further investigation this isn t the truth. When receiving the financial paperwork my name was no where to be found when I will the one financially responsible. Upon going to register and tag the car since his name was first on the title (again because the advisor said it didn t matter who was first) I had to pay MORE money because I had to buy an extra month. While this is not the issue, but the issue being upon principle. This dealership is sneaky in certain drawings telling whatever the customer wants to hear to close the sale. This isn t right, if a customer is voicing certain concerns they should be addressed and a solution should be found. Instead we received half information that was incorrect, and now my significant other and I are having to go through multiple hoops and figure out how to rectify their inconvience because the advisor refused to find a solution, or at least give an explanation besides, oh it doesn t matter you ll have no problems. Regardless of the sales associates I will now look to other dealers to fulfill my car buying needs because I refuse to deal with individuals who are giving misinformation.
